僕もつい最近まで知らなかったんですけど、僕とツジコノリコ のアルバム『28』が８月２２日にイギリス、ヨーロッパ、日本で同時にfatcat recordsからリリースされる事になったみたいです。アメリカは１１月ぐらいになるそうです。上の画像は以前からこのblogでもご紹介している僕の友人でもあり、尊敬するアーティストでもあるMehdiが描いてくれたカヴァーアートです。最終的に音もビジュアルも凄く満足のいくものが完成したと思っています。Mehdi! 本当にありがとう！皆さんにも気に入っていただけると良いけど。。
お見かけになられましたら、是非試聴してみてください。あれ、日本のCD屋さんって全部試聴できないんでしたっけ。。もし試聴機に入ってたら是非。
I didn't even know until a week ago about the release date of me and Tujiko Noriko's new album "28", but Finally it'll be released on 22nd of August 2005 in UK, Europe, and Japan on fatcat records. They said it'll be released in North America in November too. If you have a chance to hear it, please check it.
This cover art is done by one of my best friends and also one of my respecting artists Mehdi. Thank you so much Mehdi!

このアルバムを作り始めてからもう４年ぐらい経つんですよ、、、すげー時間がかかったけど、今では時間かけて本当に良かったって思ってます。まだまだ未熟な面も多々ありますが、最終のマスタリングまで一切気を抜かなかったし、マスターが仕上がったその時点での最高の仕事をしたつもりです。自分としては”商品”としてのポップスじゃなくて、ちゃんと”作品”として機能するポップスをノリP（僕達は彼女をそう呼びます）と一緒に作ったつもりです。皆さんのご感想などいただければ嬉しいです。
I remember when we started making this album, it was about 4 years ago... It took so long time, but now i feel that I'm glad that i could spent a lot of time on this album. I know there are still some parts to be fixed but I think i did everything what i can do at this moment. We tried to make it POP but not like "POP as commercial product", It is POP but still it works as an Art work. I hope we made something like this.(Is my English OK???) Please give me some comments about this album if you have time. Thanks in advance.

個人の作品とは色合いが違う感じですが、相変わらずの徹底的にディテールにこだわる感じが、とてもすばらしいと思いました。
カバーアートのような色合いのように聴こえましたよ。

fatcatのページで視聴しましたけど、キテますね。
結構前とかに、つじこさんと曲を作ったりしてますみたいな事を言われてから、友達とかの間でもずっと「いつでるんやろ」とか話題にあがってましたんで、楽しみです。
ドイツGP、シューマッハはせっかくのホームグラウンドなのにフェラーリはまだまだ調子が戻っていませんでしたね。
変な質問で申し訳ありません、母国グランプリでは特別な気持ちであろうF1ドライバー達の様に、青木さんもやっぱり大阪でライブとかされる時は他の場所に比べて特別な感じなんでしょうか。
ちょっと思っただけですんで、なんでしたら流してください。

小さい音で聴くと結構静かな感じの曲に聴こえると思うんですけど、デカイ音で聴いていただくとまた違った側面も感じていただけると思います。他の曲もお気に召していただければ嬉しいです。

そうですね、、大阪とか京都ってデビュー直後とかまだまだ全然プロとして話になってなかった当時によくライヴをさせてもらってたので、懐かしい感じになるというか、改めて初心に戻れる良いきっかけになるんです。ライヴに来てくれるお客さんの中にも昔ながらの友人も多いので、凄く楽しいですね。

hey AOKI, this comment is a little late but I just want to say that 28 is an amazing album.
It's my favourite album of 2005 and possibly even my favourite album EVER! I think it is that good.
This was the album that introduced me to you and Tujiko Noriko, before I had never heard of either of you. I came across an article on the internet about this album completely by accident and your music (with Tujiko and your solo works) has become such an important part of my own music making, it inspires me so much. I have listened to the album atleast once every day since I bought it. You have easily become my favourite artist and it's all thanks to this album. Such amazing work, I think every second of it is perfect.
Very well done to you and Tujiko Noriko.

I'm sooo glad to heat that you liked our "28".
I've been releasing my works since 2001 in Japan but Unfortunately (As you know),
I'm still kind of completely unknown in Europe and other countries
except Japan.
"28" is kind of my first release in oversea for me, and I hope i can
keep releasing my works in overseas from now too.
I hope that there are more people like you in all over the world and
hope i can have more opportunities to perform in the future.
