半野さんの主催するレーベル"cirque.MAVO"から、8月11日に"LIVE recordings 2001-2003"をリリースしていただく事になりました。このアルバムは（多分）2001年（ぐらい）から2004年まで僕が個人的に少量生産していたLIVE CD-Rシリーズの良いとこ録りって感じのアルバムです。2001~2003年の間にやらせてもらったLIVEをマイク録音したものなので、会場の雰囲気とかオーディエンスの盛り上がりも感じてもらえるかなって思ってます。今回このアルバムのリリースを提案してくださった半野喜弘さんとディストリビューションを担当してくださっているULTRA VYBE、またマスタリングをしてくださった早乙女正雄さんと大久保さん、スタジオCueve、それにこのリリースに関わってくださった全ての方々に感謝します。ありがとうございました。
I'm going to release "LIVE recordings 2001-2003" from RADIQ aka Yoshihiro HANNO's label "cirque.MAVO" on 11th of August 2007. This album consists of 5 LIVE recorodings from my LIVE CD-R series which i've released very few copies from 2001 to 2004. All tracks are recorded by microphone except track1, so you might be able to feel the atmosphere of the venue and audience, and I hope you enjoy that part too. i'd like to say thank you to Yoshihiro HANNO who gave me a chance to release this album, ULTRA VYBE who distribute this work in Japan, Mr.Masao Saotome who did mastering and also studio Cueve, and also all the people who worked for this release. Thank you very much all. Unfortunately this work is also distributed only in Japan again... I hope you can get it somehow..

青木孝允は、そのキャリアにおける濃密なスタジオ・ワークと同様に、ライブでのパフォーマンスに対し一貫して精力的に取り組んできたアーティストだ。
今回リリースされるこの作品には、2001年から2003年にかけて彼がバルセロナ、京都、大阪、東京で行なったライブ・パフォーマンスが収められている。沸騰したソリッドなリズム、鋭利なノイズ、柔らかく繊細に重ねられたレイヤーといったディテールは現在の青木孝允が生み出す作品と地続きの地平にあるものだか、特筆すべきはこれらのライブ・レコーディングから伝わるある種の新鮮さを伴った透明な感覚であり、これは当時のエレクトロニカもしくはIDMといったタームを遥かに飛び越えた、青木孝允というアーティストのパーソナリティにおける最も核心の部分にあるものだと言ってもよい。リズムとグルーヴに対する純粋な畏怖と探究心という要素はまさに彼にとっての初期衝動と言え、そもそも「誰もまだ聴いたことが無いファンキーなリズムを創りたい」という押さえ難いモチベーションゆえに彼はソフトウェア／コンピューター・ベースでの創作を始めたという経緯がある。
この作品に収められた2001-2003という時期、彼はイヴェント規模の大小や国内外を問わず毎週のようにライブをこなし、純粋な初期衝動に突き動かされ続けながらあらゆる表現手法を試行・模索し続けてきた。同時に、彼自身のアーティストとしてのパーソナルな意識の醸成プロセスもこの時期における一連のライブ・パフォーマンスの中で行なわれてきたとも言えるだろう。この作品は青木孝允のアーティストとしての成長と進化が生々しいほどの密度をもって刻み込まれたドキュメントとしての側面も持ち合わせている。

I'm the happy owner of lives 1 & 2 but I'll definitely buy the disc because I'm very curious of your first concerts in 2001. Was it Silicom at this time?

It's not my first concert in 2001 but track 3,4 and 5 are in your
LIVE CD 1. So it doesn't really sound new for you maybe.
and Yes, those are recorded when we were doing SILICOM.

hey. love your music....especially 28. i was in paris 2 weeks ago and really hoping you would be performing somewhere. that was probably a longshot though, i dont know how your performances work. anyways, i was really happy to here you have something new. keep up the good work!

こんにちは、今回のLIVEアルバムには数年前の日本のソナーライブで青木さんと半野さんがラップトップ、2人の女性ボーカル+ウッド・ベース＆細長い管楽器（名前わからなくてゴメンナサイ）の編成で女性ボーカルが「テルミー」と何回も歌っていた音源って入っているのですか？。スゴク衝撃的な音楽だったのなかなか忘れられないです。今回のLIVEアルバムじゃなくてもCDーR化なんかされたりしていたら教えてください。さようなら。青木さんのブログの写真ってスゴク自由を感じるので好きです。

残念ながら今回のLIVE盤にはその時の音は収録されてません。
あの時の音って確か録音もされてないと思うので、、多分リリース
される事は無いんじゃないかと思います。。
でも覚えていてくださっていて嬉しいです。ありがとうございます。
写真も楽しんでいただけて嬉しいです。
