パリに来てから周りの好評もあって（自分が食べたいだけなのかも）頻繁に日本のカレーライスを作ってます。僕のカレーって自分で言うのも何ですが、かなり美味いんですよ（笑）機会があれば皆さんにも是非食べていただきたい。
今回は友達が来るって事もあって６人分ぐらい作る事にしました。写真のようにタマネギを５個みじん切りにして、茶色くとろっとするまでオリーブオイルで炒めます。その後ニンジン２本、ジャガイモ３個、リンゴ１個、ショウガ少々をすりおろしてそこに加えます。今回はマッシュルームも入れました。こっちで売ってる包丁って全然切れないので、日本から持って来たセラミック包丁が大活躍。ここにも誇るべき日本の技術が光ってました。頑張れ日本。
I cook Japanese Curry Rice quite often since i came to Paris. Most of friends told me it's good and I really like it myself too. I'd like to serve you this Curry if i have a chance.
This time i cooked for six people. As the photo shows you, I chopped five onions into fine pieces and fried them with olive oil until they became soft and brown. Then I made some past with carrots(1 and half), potatos(three), an apple and ginger(little bit) and add them into fried onion. I add some mushrooms this time. Japanese kitchen knives are far better than the one we can buy in Paris. Thank for Great Japanese technology!
僕はカレーに豚肉を入れます。めっちゃ美味いですよ。近所の中国人が経営する中華スーパー（その辺一帯はパリじゃないみたい）で豚肉を買って来ました。このフライパン全部ぐらいで２ユーロ（２７０円ぐらい）で、他のフランス人が経営する肉屋さんよりもかなり安いです。その豚肉をニンニクスライスをたっぷり入れたフライパンでオリーブオイルで炒めて、そこに塩こしょうをします。この時点で美味そう。ココで醤油かけてタマネギ入れても美味いです。ゴハンが止まりません。ニンニクを十分炒めてから豚肉をフライパンに入れると良いです。
I use pork for my Curry. Usually people use beef or chicken but i don't. I bought it at the Chinese super market near my apartment. And it was about two Euro. This is much cheaper than other French butchers.
I fried those pork meat with full of sliced garlic with olive oil and add a little bit salt and pepper.
さっきのタマネギ＆野菜ペーストに適量の水を入れてボイル。煮立った所で炒めた豚肉とマッシュルーム、つぶしたニンニクを５個ぐらい、月桂樹の葉、その他ハーブ類、トマトピューレ、バター、コンソメ、コーヒー少量、醤油を少々入れて更に煮ます。野菜が柔らかくなったら、カレールーを溶かして、カレー粉とガラムマサラ、生クリームを入れてできあがり。今回はズッキーニを炒めたものを上に乗せてみましたー。めっちゃめっっっちゃ美味かったです。お試しあれ。ボナペティート。

I added some water into the vegitable past and boil. and I added fried pork meat, mushrooms, five crushed garlics, some herbs, some can of tomato, butter, consomme, a little bit of coffee powder and soy sauce and boil them for a while. When the vegitables get softer, add Japanese Curry base, Curry powder, garam masala and creme fraiche. I put fried courgette this time. It was realllly delicious. Please try.
hhmm.. I haven't been making new song since a few weeks ago... I need make some new songs...

ほんとラッキーな事に僕の周りには優れたアーティストが多いんです。僕の友人の高久雪枝ちゃんは、パリを拠点にオートクチュールの世界で作品を発表しているAdeline Andreのアトリエで、彼女の仕事を手伝いながら自分自身の作品も少しずつ作ってるんです。一昨日はそこのアトリエに少しお邪魔してみました。僕は今までこういう場には行った事がなかったので、なんかとても刺激的でした。そこにあった作品のどれもが、素材、カッティング、仕上げが素晴らしく、プロの職人の雰囲気がプンプンしてました。
I think I'm so lucky because I know quite a many good artists as my friends around me. One of my friends Yukie Takaku is now working and helping Adeline Andre who is a fashion designer releasing her works in the world of Paris haute couture. and Yukie is also making her own works when she has time during her work. I visited there the day before yesterday and It was really exciting opportunitiy because I've never been before this kind of professional works space for fasion designers.
それで昨日雪枝ちゃんの個人的な作品を見せてもらいました。僕は批評家ではありませんし、いつも他人の作品を見てどうコメントして良いか全然分からないんですけど（語意力が無いんです、もっと養わないと）、とにかく良かった。一見して何か惹き付けられるものがありました。完成度が高いんです。彼女は服も作っているんです、でもその服も彼女にとってはあくまで一つの発表の手段であり、発表の方法やインスピレーションの源を限定しないその姿勢にも共感できました。今回彼女の２作品をココでご紹介させていただきます。近々サイトのimagesにもいくつかアップしようと思っていますので是非ご覧になってください。下の画像をクリックすると拡大できます。彼女は個人的なe-mailアドレスを持っていないので、彼女にコンタクトを取りたい方はお気軽に僕にご連絡ください。
Then Yukie showed me her own works yesterday. I'm not a critic so I cannot write convincing critique but i really liked them. I felt something attractive from her works. She's also making clothes. Making clothes are one of the ways of her expression and i fetl empathy for her source of inspiration. It is borderless, the inspiration comes from everywhere. This time i only uploaded two of her works here and i'm planning to introduce her works on images page of my web soon. Please check them when they uploaded. You can click and upsize the images below. 昨日はまさにracing all dayな一日でした。F1のドイツGPがあって、イギリスではmotoGPがあって、パリの街中ではTour de Franceの最終ステージが開催されていて街中がめちゃめちゃ盛り上がってました。
F1ではやっぱりMicheal Schumacherが優勝して、motoGPでもやっぱりValentino Rossiが優勝して、Tour de Franceでは誰か知らない人が勝ってました。皆それぞれ嬉しそう。
Racing all day yesterday. There was a German Grand Prix for F1,England Grand Prix for motoGP and the final stage of Tour de France in Paris.
Michael Schumacher won as always for F1, Valentino Rossi won as always for motoGP and somebody i don't know won for Tour de France. They all looked happy.
予想通りM.Schumacherがスタートからぶっちぎりでレースをリード。唯一着いて行ってたライコネンもリアウィングが折れるという珍しいアクシデントでリタイヤ。佐藤琢磨はかなりアグレッシヴに走ってましたけど、マシンバランスが悪いのか今回も上位は狙えそうになかったですね。次回頑張って欲しいです。今回はフェラーリ以外のチームのバトルが見物でした。
As expected, M.Schumacer led the race from the start to the end. Raikkonen was the only one who was chasing M.Schumacer in the beginning, but he lost his rear wing and finished his race. Takuma Sato was pushing so hard, but i guess his car was not good enough to get higher positions. It was quite exciting race except Ferrari this time.
motoGPは今回もかなりの接戦で、見応え満タンでした。やっぱりValentino Rossiは常に誰よりも速くて楽しそうでした。彼のライディングを見てるとこっちまで楽しくなってきます。彼がF1に来るっていう噂を聞いたんですけど、そうなったら楽しそう。 阿部ノリックが途中物凄い事故してたけど、大丈夫やったんでしょうか。レース前もあばら骨にヒビが入ってたって言ってたけど。それでもレースに出るところが男やね。
It was quite a close race for motoGP and was really exciting. Valentino Rossi was faster than anyother and looked he was having fun during the whole race. His way of riding bike is always makes me exciting. I've read a news and it said that he's coming to F1 in the near future. I really want him to do that. And Norick Abe crushed at the end of the race. but Is he OK? I've read that his rib was broken before the race..
日本にいた時はちゃんとTour de Franceを見た事がなかったのでちゃんとしたルールとか全然知らないんですけど、友人 のフランス人曰くかなり複雑なルールがあって、チーム戦略なども重要な位置を占めるそうです。今日は最終ステージで、ゴールのあるシャンゼリゼ通りをメインストレートに、パリの中心街をサーキットのようにして複数の速そうな自転車が走ってました。最近のこういったレース用自転車はF1顔負けのハイスペックで、素材もデザインも最先端。かっこいい。。 いやー、昨日は幸せな日でした。
I've only seen Tour de France on TV just a little bit in Japan, so I don't really know its rules and so on. My friend told me that there're quite many rules and each team need to build complicated strategy for their race. It was a final stage today and many fast bikes are running on the road in Paris. These days, those bikes are getting more high spec and designed well as Formula 1. It was really happy day for me yesterday.

デザインが良いってホンマに素晴らしい事やと思うんです。今までそんなにコレと言って注意を払った事のなかった乾電池も、ココまでデザインが良いと今までよりちょっと重要な物になった感じがするのは僕だけでしょうか。今日はパリの郊外にあるスウェーデンのIKEAっていう家具メイカーのお店に行ってきました。そこの製品はどれも比較的リーズナブルで、しかもデザインが良いんです。日本にもそろそろお店ができるっていう話を聞いたんですけど。どうなんでしょうか。電池カッコイイ。
I think beautiful design is really wonderful thing. I've never paid attention to one tiny battery before, but when i found these today, I felt like these batteries became something important in my life because I really liked its design. Today i went to IKEA in suburbs of Paris and i bought these batteries. I've never seen such a beautiful designed batteries before :-) I liked it.
そしてまたもやこの人がドイツGPでもポールポジション。なんだかんだ言ってもやっぱりMichael Schumacherは速いです。佐藤琢磨は残念ながらフリー走行の時にマシンのバランスが悪くてクラッシュしてしまって、その結果予選でも本領は発揮できなかったみたいですけど。なんとか頑張って欲しいです。明日の本戦が楽しみ。
And again, Michael Schumacher took pole position. Many people say a lot of things about him, but I'm sure he is fast. Faster than anyother at the moment.. Unfortunately Takuma Sato crushed for his practice and he couldn't show his best for qualifying... I'm looking forward the Grand Prix tomorrow.

２年ぐらい前から少しずつ進んでたプロジェクトをやっと本格的に再開します。ツジコノリコと二人で作っている曲が結構あるんですが、それでなんとかアルバムを作りたいなって思って。今日はその作業もあって彼女のスタジオに行ってきました。彼女が作ったオーディオファイルや曲の原型を僕がもらって、それを僕が新たにアレンジしたり、音を足したり引いたりしながら二人で曲を作っています。９月完成を目標に何とか頑張ろうって二人で言ってるんですけどね。どっか良いレーベル無いかな。かなりポップなんですけど、でも普通じゃない感じ。ヨーロッパで二人でライブをする時には、よくこれらの曲を演奏してたんですけど、日本の皆さんにも早く聴いていただきたいです。
I've just started the project which has been working little by little sice two years ago. I've been working with tujiko noriko and we have some songs which are already finished. Now we're working together to finish our album. I visited her studio today to receive her sound files and some basic tracks. I'm going to add and cut some sounds to finish these songs. We're planning to finish this album in September. I hope we can find a good label to release it. Most of the songs are just like POP music but a bit unusual some part. We've been playing these songs together in Europe sometimes. We've never played together in Japan so far. I'd like to play in Japan someday.
彼女のスタジオからの帰り道で見つけたDUCATIのバイク。かっこいい。。この前コレが走ってるの見たんですけど、凄いバランス良さそうでした。やっぱりイタリアすげー。センス良いですねー。これが燃料電池車なら最高なんですけどねー。燃料電池車でガソリン車並のパワーが出せる日は来るんでしょうか。。そんなF1見てみたいなー。あ〜、でも音が小さそう。困った、それは困る。
I found a DUCATI bike on the way home from her studio. It is a nice bike. Great Italian design. I love it. I thought it's really wonderful if it is a fuel battery bike.. I wonder if it will be rearized someday that fuel battery car become faster than gasoline-driven car. I thought i'd like see "Fuel Battery Formula 1" someday, but.. I'm sure it will be really quiet race...hhmm.. I don't want it ;-)

やっと日本からsimply funkが届きました。金曜日に郵便局から電話があって、『月曜日の朝に荷物を持って行くから家にいろ』って言われて待ってたんですけど、結局その日にも火曜日にも来ませんでした。で、昨日アパートの２階の廊下（ウチは４階）に郵便局からの不在者用通知らしき紙が落ちてたんですけど、いくらフランス人でも２階の廊下に伝票置かへんやろうって思って無視してたんです。でも全然連絡もないし、ポストにも何も入ってないので、まさか、、と思って落ちてた伝票を見たんですけど、写真の通り読める字じゃない、っていうか人間が書いた字には見えない。皆さん読めますか？（笑）
それでまた無視して部屋に戻ってメイルをチェックしたら、PROGRESSIVE FOrMから郵送した小包の伝票番号を記したメイルが来てたので、嫌な予感とともにもう一度さっきの床に落ちてた伝票を見たら。。。まさかと思ったんですが、それは僕が待ち続けてた紙でした（笑）もうその瞬間にフランスの郵便局は絶対に信用できないって思いましたね。今朝郵便局に伝票持って行ったんですけど、局員の人も読めなかったんです（笑）彼にも読めないと分かってちょっとホッとしましたけど。。
今まで小包とか日本から沢山送ってもらったんですけど、一度たりとも部屋まで持って来た試しがないんです。部屋にいるのに不在者届け。フランス人怠け過ぎ、っていうか日本人が凄過ぎ？ ココまで来ると笑い話ですね（笑）受け取れただけまだマシかな。ホント毎日が驚きの連続です。そう言えば僕、何かの雑誌のインタビューで『驚くの大好きです！』って言うたっけなぁー。。ははは。
Finaly i received my album "simply funk" from Japan.. I got phone call from Post office on Friday and they told me "We'll bring your package so you must stay fome Monday morning" but no one came, and on Tuesday, no one came either. Then I found a paper which looked like a notification from Post office at 2nd-floor hallway of my apartment(I'm living 4th floor). i never thought the deliveryman who works for French Post office leave a notification on the floor. So i didn't pick it up and left it there. I waited utill evening but i didn't receive any info from them. so I went downstairs and checked that paper which i found on the hallway but.. I couldn't read his writing. I don't believe that human beings wrote this letters ;-) Can you read it?
Anyway, it was a paper which i've been waiting for. I went to the office with it, and the officer couldn't read it either :-)
They've never brought my packages to my room so far, they always leave a paper which sais "I came here to bring your package but You're not home. Come and pick it up" even if i'm reading a book in my room. This never happens in Japan. Don't you think they're too lazy? or maybe Japanese work too much?? Maybe I should tell myself that i'm lucky because now i got my package without any damage ;-)
今日の夕食はズッキーニとモッツァレラチーズのミートソースパスタ。家で植えてるバジルをちょっとちぎって上に乗せてみました。パスタの茹で具合もバッチリ、塩加減も最高。激美味。皆さんも是非どうぞ。いつもコメントしづらくてごめんなさい。
I had Bolognese spaghetti with courgette and mozzarella. I put some basil on it which I plant by the window. it was really delicious.

昨日は友人のLAUR meyrieuxと会ってきました。彼女は主に日本とパリで活動しているフランス人アーティストで、３年ほど前に僕がパリでライブをした時に知り合いました。去年の東京デザイナーズブロックでは、青山のツモリチサトのショップに展示された彼女の作品に僕が音を付けたりしたんです。彼女の作品はいつもシンプルで、力強く、でもどこか女性的。機会があれば是非チェックしてみてくださいね。
今回久々に休暇が取れたみたいで、パリにちらっと寄ってその後イタリアに行くそうです。良いなー、イタリア。また行きたい。
I met LAUR meyrieux yesterday. She's one of my friend and She's an artist and mainly works in Japan and Paris. I've met her three year's ago when i did LIVE in Paris. We worked together for Tokyo Designers Block 2003 last year. She made some objects and I made sounds for them and they were displayed in the Tsumori Chisato's shop in Aoyama Tokyo. Her works are always simple, strong and feminine some part. I really like it. Please check her works when you have a chance.
She was in Paris for her vacation and she told me that she's going to Italy after this. I wanna go to Italy again..
彼女と会った帰りに見たカッコイイ壁。なんかカッコイイ。
今日もパリは雨です。 あー、今日届くはずの荷物がやっぱり届かない。金曜日に『月曜の朝に持って行くから、家にいろ』って電話あったのに。フランスの郵便はアテになりません。っていうかやっぱりフランス人の言う事は信用できない。

It's raining in Paris again. hmm.. I was suppose receive a package from Japan today, but nobody comes to bring it. They phoned me on Friday " We'll bring you a package on Moday morning. You have to stay there"but i still don't receive it. I don't trust French post anymore...
昨日は物凄い雨でした。かなり大粒で窓開けてたら屋の中に雨が入って来るぐらい。雷も凄かった。雷の音って何度聴いても感動してしまうんですけど、、僕だけかな。近ければ近いほど感動的。 日本はかなり暑いみたいですね。こっちも去年みたいに暑くなるのかな。嫌やな。
We had really hard rain yesterday. It was huge drops and the rain came in to my room from the window. The thunder was also strong. I'm always impressed by the sound of thunder... bigger sound is much more impressive. I've read that it is really hot in Japan though, I hope it will not be like last summer in Europe..
ウチの近所の家具屋さんに住んでるニクイやつです。一人で散歩してるところを発見したので激写しました。バセットハウンドっていう犬種なんですけど、彼らはひたすらマイペースで、何事にも動じない。いつもボケーっとしてるんです。この時も『なんやお前』って言われました。かわいい、無理。
He lives in the furniture store near my room. I found him and took some photos while he was walking by himself around the shop. This dog is called basset hound and they usually lives his own pace and way and remain placid even in a crisis. He's alway like this whenever i see him. He said to me at this time"Who are you anyway?". Cute.

二日目は皆で街の観光がてら、次の日に予定されている僕とツジコノリコのライブ会場となるJardin Raymond VIっていうToulouseの現代美術館の敷地内にある公園の下見に行ってきました。その日はもうすでに公園でフェスティバルの二日目が始まっていて、お客さんもええ感じで芝生に寝転びながら音楽を聴いてました。ちょうど僕たちが行った時にarovaneのUWEがライブをしてました。そういえば彼とは以前日本でPROGRESSIVE FOrMが主催したイベントに一緒に出演させていただいた事がありました。彼はその日結構ゆっくりめの曲をライブで披露してて、みんなぼけーっと聴いてました。
We did some sightseeing on second day, and went to the Jardin Raymond VI. This place will be me and Tujiko's venue for the next day. When we got there, the show was already started, and people were lying down on the grass and listening to the music from Arovane. I've met him once when PROGRESSIVE FOrM organized a party in Japan and I also did LIVE on the same party. He was playing quite slow and calm track for this festival and people were listening very carefully.
その夜１０時ぐらいにツジコノリコがスペインのバレンシアから１日遅れてホテルに到着。皆で夜の会場に行ったんですけど、人が多すぎてちょっと観れなかったので、食事だけしてそのままホテルに帰りました。僕はその後次の日のライブの準備をして朝方に就寝。
Tujiko Noriko arrived at the hotel around 10pm on the same day from Valencia. Then we went to the night venue all together but it was full of people. We couldn't see anything because of so many people, so we dicided to go back to our hotel after the late dinner. I worked till the wee hours of the morning to prepare for our LIVE on the next day and went to bed after that.

眠い目を擦りながら１２時から始まるサウンドチェックに行くためになんとか１１時ぐらいに起床、朝ご飯を食べる暇もなく準備してロビーへ。普通パリで『じゃあ１２時に！』ってフランス人が言うたら、大体１２時半か１時ぐらいに迎えが来るのが当たり前なんですが、Toulouseのオーガナイザは違いました。みんなオンタイムでちゃんと働く。凄い。フランス人の言う事は信用したらアカンっていう定説を覆されました。 迎えに来てくれた車にツジコノリコと乗って前日下見に来た公園に行ってサウンドチェック。前日は『音悪いかなー』って思ってたんですけど、実際自分の音を鳴らしてみたら結構いい音が出たので安心。多分前日のアーティストの音が悪かったのかも。
その日にフランスのマニクールでF1フランスGPが行われてたので、それをTVで見るために急いでホテルへ。佐藤琢磨、またしてもリタイヤ。。頑張れ日本人。
I managed to wake up 11am to go to soundchecking, and went to lobby but there was no time to have breakfast. Usually in Paris, when French people told us "See you at noon!", that means they come to see us at half past 12 or 1o'clock, but it was not like that for people in Toulouse :-) Great. I had a stereotype that French people are lazy, but i have to correct that. Maybe this is right for only for Parisien ;-) We got in the car and went to soundchecking. I thought the sound systems were not good enough on the day before, but it was perfect when i played my sound. Maybe the sound from artists who played the day before was not that good.
We hurried over to Hotel to see F1 French GP on TV. Takuma Sato stopped again...
僕の出番は夕方７時過ぎからで、まずは僕が一人で演奏して、その後にツジコノリコと一緒にライブ、最後に彼女が一人でライブっていう流れにしました。sonar2003やイタリアやチェコでライブした時もこの流れでした。その日はフランスのテレビ局も来てたので、ちょっとこれは日本人の力を見せてやらねば！という気持ちで飛ばしてたんですけど、会場の電源の問題があって途中で音がストップ。何とか復活してライブを始める事ができたんですが、今度はあまりの日差しの強さに片方のPowerBookが熱暴走でクラッシュ。でもまあ全体的には良い感じだったしかなり盛り上がったと半野さんが後で教えてくれたので、ちょっと安心しました。
I started playing from 7pm. I played alone first, then with Tujiko Noriko, and she played alone at the end. We performed as the same order jsut like when we played in sonar2003,Italy and Prague before. On that day, French TV crew were there, so i thought i have to show what Japanese can do! and i think i was playing quite good, but then the sound sysntems were stopped because of the electricity problem of the venue ;-) We managed to start the LIVE again after 10 min interval but then one of my powerbook stopped because of the strong sunshine and high temperature. But after all, I was relieved because Mr.Hanno told me that it was quite good and people were really excited.
ツジコノリコとのライブは今までまだ日本で実現した事がないんですけど、いつかやりたいですね。もう一緒に作業を初めてかれこれ２年ぐらいになるんですけど、未だアルバムは完成せず（笑）でもライブの評判はいつもかなり良いんです。いつか日本の皆さんにも僕たち二人のライブを観ていただける機会があれば良いですね。いずれにしてもアルバムを完成させないとレーベルも決まらないし、、話にならないんですけど（笑） 今回のライブもかなり好評で、CDも沢山売れたし、皆がライブの後にサインを求めてくれたり、話しかけてくれたりしてくれました。嬉しい。ライブに来ていただいた全ての方々に感謝します。Merci!
I've never played together with Tujiko Noriko in Japan before. I hope we can play in Japan someday. We've been working on our album since two years ago, but it is not finished yet... But we have a quite good reputation for our LIVE performance so far. Anyway, all we have to do is finishing an album, i know it.. I think people liked our show this time too, and many people bought my CDs and talked to us after the show. I'd like to say thank you so much for people who came to our LIVE performance in Toulouse. 昨日Toulouseで開かれていたles siestes electroniquesから帰ってきました。三日間ともめちゃめちゃめちゃいい天気で、ライブも好評で言う事なしでした。サイトのLIVE reviewsにも画像と短いムービーをアップしたので、良かったらそちらもどうぞ。
We just came back from les siestes electroniques in Toulouse yesterday. It was extremely fine and nice weather during we stayed there and many people told us that they loved our show. I updated some images and short movies on LIVE reviews. Please check it when you have time.
フェスティバルのオープニングでもある１日目は、半野さんのライブが街の古いチャペルでありました。最初オーガナイザからは『古い小さいチャペル』としか聞いていなかったんですけど、入って僕も半野さんもビックリ。『すげー、、、こんな所で音鳴らしてええんか』って思うぐらいの素晴らしい会場でした。リハーサルの時に半野さんが結構低音の出てる音を鳴らしたんですけど、そこを管理してるおっちゃんが『壁の絵が剥がれる！』って怒ってたそうですw。 おっちゃんごめん。
It was the first day of the festival and Mr.Hanno did his performance for it's opening event at the old Chapel in the city. We've only heard from the organizer that it was the old and small chapel." , but we were surprised when we entered the chapel. It was really beautiful place. The caretaker was mad when Mr.Hanno was checking his sound with playing low frequency sound :-)
今回は半野さんの作品でよくヴォーカルとして起用されているAHちゃんがライブに参加していました。マイクを使わなくても良いぐらい物凄く音が通ったので（そういう風に建物が作られているんです）、本番はかなりオフマイク（音源からマイクが離れた状態）で歌ってました。半野さんとAHちゃんがリハーサルを始めた途端に会場の空気ががらっと変わって、その場にいた関係者全員が二人のサウンドチェックの模様を食い入るように見入ってました。 そういえば去年だったかVladislav delayが日本に来てた時に、半野さんとAHちゃんのライブを見て『オレもあのヴォーカルが使いたい！』って言ってたの思い出しました。AHちゃんは『嫌だ』って言ってたけどw。僕も止めた方が良いと思うw。
This time Mr.Hanno played his musc with a female vocal. Her name's AH and she sings for Mr.Hanno's song quite often. When she was singing, she had to stand far away from her vocal microphone because the venue had a quite strong reverb. When they started their sound checking, the whole atmosphere of the venue was changed by their sound and I'm sure that all the people felt the same at that time. People were listening their music very carefully. I remember when Vladislav delay came to Japan, he said that he wanted to use AH as his vocal when he saw Mr.Hanno and AH's performance. but AH said "I don't want it", I agree that.
半野さんのライブの前に国立トゥールーズ室内楽団のチェロ、ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラのトリオアンサンブルがオープニングを勤めたんですが、やっぱり生の音は違いますね。。感動です。主にシューベルトと２０世紀の音楽家の曲を演奏してたんですけど、美しかった。バロック万歳。あのグルーヴは凄い。半野さんも『オレ、あの後にやるの？ええ、、嫌や』って仰ってましたw。さすが国立、演奏も凄い。
Before Mr.Hanno played, trio ensemble of cello,viola and violin from National chamber orchestra of Toulouse played mainly Schubert and some works of composers from 20th century. It was great. I knew it but the real sound comes out from those instruments are totally different from the sound from computers or electronic instruments. beautiful, and great groove. Mr.Hanno said "Am I going to play after them?? no, I don't want it.." :-) I understand what he felt..
写真は会場がお客さんで一杯になる前のものなんですが、会場には正に老若男女問わず沢山の方々が来られてました。海外でライブをさせていただく時にいつも思うんですけど、僕たちみたいな音楽のイベントにもよく年配の方が来てるんです。素晴らしい事ですよね。 本番はトリオの演奏も素晴らしかったし、半野さんとAHちゃんのライブも本当に素晴らしかった。半野さんのライブの後アンコールの拍手があったんですけど、半野さん何も用意してなかったみたいで出てきませんでしたw。あの場所にいれて本当に嬉しかった。

This picture was taken just before the venue was filled with people, but so many people came to see their performance, even old people. It is quite rare in Japan, but I think this is really wonderful thing. The performance of trio ensemble and Mr.Hanno and AH was really really great. I was so happy to be there.

daisyworld discからaudio sponge 2っていうコンピレーションが出ました。楽曲を提供したんですけど、全然連絡がなかったのでいつ発売されるのかと思ってたら、昨日出てたみたいです。今回は自分の新しいアルバム『simply funk』に収録されている『simply funk』っていう曲を少しエディットしたバージョンを収録していただきました。自分でもかなり気に入っているので是非聴いていただきたいです。後でサイトにも情報をアップしておきますので、良かったらチェックしてみてください。っていうかこの女の子達は誰やろうか。

A compilation album "audio sponge 2" was released yesterday on daisyworld disc. This time i put a different version of "simply funk" from my new album. I don't know if you can get it in Europe or US,but if you have a chance, please check it. That's my favorite track. Anyway, Who are those girls?

明日から南フランスのToulouseっていう街に行ってきます。そこで開かれるles siestes electroniquesっていうフェスティバルに参加させていただける事になってます。去年はソロで出させてもらったんですけど、今年はツジコノリコと一緒に出演させていただく事になってます。今年は半野さんも一緒に行かれるので、楽しくなりそうです。
I'm going to Toulouse in south of France from tomorrow to play at les siestes electroniques. I performed alone last year for this festival and this time I'm going to play with Tujiko Noriko. Yoshihiro Hanno is also coming to play this time. I'm looking forward to it.
