ホントは今日早朝に起きて朝日でも見ようって思ってたんですけど、思いっきり寝過ごして結局いつも通り起きたら昼過ぎ。ホテルの朝食も食べれなかった。
今回僕達のライヴはAlternativa 2004っていうフェスティバルの一環として開催されました。今日はそのフェスティバル中のイベントの一つとして、Max/MSPとSuperColliderのワークショップが開催されていたので、それを観に行く事にしました。
ちょっと早めにホテルを出てプラハ観光をしました。上の写真は旧市街広場。
I tried to wake up early in the morning and watch dawn but when i woke up, it was already noon as always.. I missed the breakfast either..
This time, we do LIVE for a festival called Alternativa 2004 in Prague. and today they had workshop for Max/MSP and SuperCollider, so i went there to see it. I left the hotel a bit earlier and did sightseeing. The scene of European cities are really different from Japanese cities. So those buidings are sometimes really amazing for Japanese.
街の中心地で僕と半野さんの名前が書かれたフェスティバルのポスターを発見。やっぱり純粋に嬉しい。。
I found the poster of Alternativa 2004 and there were my name and Yoshihiro Hanno's name too. I'm so glad :-)
そのまま街の中心を西に抜けて、映画『ミッション・インポシブル』にも出てきたカレル橋へ。観光客でいっぱいでしたけどやっぱり奇麗。気分はすっかり追われる身のスパイ。
I went to Karluv Bridge. There was a scene on this bridge in the movie called "Mission Impossible".

橋を渡りきった所でトラムに乗りました。トラムがある街って何か好きです。だから広島も好きなのかな。
I took trum to go to the venue. I don't knwo why but i like the cities where trums are. Maybe that's why I like Hiroshima. They also have trums in the city.
時間ぴったりに会場に到着。早速地元のアーティストThomas HruzaさんとThomas DvorakさんのPureDataとMax/MSPのワークショップが始まりました。チェコでは最近これらのプログラミング系ソフトの人気が出てきたみたいで、プラハの若い人たちも興味津々でした。ビデオカセットのケースを使った自作のデバイスが、手作り感覚一杯で何かかっこ良かった。
I got there on time. Then Thomas Hruza and Thomas Dvorak from Prague started the workshop of PureData and Max/MSP. Those kind of programing languages are getting popular in Czech recently, and many people came to see this event. They were deeply-interested in their workshop.
PureDataと他のアプリケーションをWindowsマシンで操作していました。
He used PureData and other softwares at the same time on Windows.
Julian RohruberさんのSuperColliderのワークショップ風景。初心者にもとても分かりやすい方法で、SC3の優位性やリアルタイム性を教えてくれていました。質問の時間に誰も質問しなくてちょっと気まずかったので、僕がちょっと色々と質問してみました。僕もあやふやだった部分をとても分かりやすく教えてくれました。こういうワークショップに参加したのは僕も初めてだったので何か新鮮で楽しかった。
A photo from SuperCollider workshop by Julian Rohruber. He explained about SC3 in the really great way so everybody understands. When he asked people if they have any question, almost nobody asked anything, so i asked some questions which i was not also clear. He explained me about it very carefully.
帰りも同じ道筋で、カレル橋を通って帰りました。夜は夜でまた格別。寒さも忘れてしまうぐらい奇麗でした。
I took the same way on the way back to hotel. It was really beautiful.
