FENNESZさんとのツアーで撮った写真をいくつか。彼の音楽は美しい。僕の乏しい言語能力では表現しきれない美しさ。何度も言うけど彼の音もまた自然現象に近い美しさがあって、それを写真でなんとか。。今回もホンマに良い経験させてもらいました。観に来てくれた皆さん、Chrisitian, commmonsの梶村さん、西山さん、あとこのツアーの実現に関わられた全ての皆さんに感謝したいです。ありがとうございました。楽しかったです。

My pour language ability doesn't work to describe it. it is really close to the beauty of natural phenomenon, so i try my best to describe it with photos. I had amazing experience through this tour. 今年の1月末の話になってしまうんですが、transmediale 2009でのRYOICHI KUROKAWA君のAudiovisual Concertは、人間の全感覚を刺激するような、ダイナミックでエンターテイメント性の高い素晴らしいパフォーマンスでした。彼のアンテナは一体どこまで繊細なんやろうか、、ミクロな視点とマクロな視点を絶妙に使い分けて、彼独自のユニークな表現方法で視覚的に刺激して、同時にオーディオ情報もそれと完璧にリンクして聴覚的（というよりも体感に近い感じ）に伝わってくる。僕が彼の作品に惹かれる理由というのは、あのダイナミックな”動き”と”タイミング”と”色”です。その３つが上手く絡み合い、自然な動きとエネルギーを生み出して、いつの間にかオーディエンスを体感の世界に導いてくれる気がします。今月完成する彼の新作が楽しみでたまりません。respect
RYOICHI KUROKAWA did his audiovisual concert in transmediale 2009 in end of January. It was amazing performance which stimulated all my senses with dynamic entertainment. His sensors must be so sensitive and accurate, so that he can use both micro and macroscopic ideas on his own unique ways of visual and audio expressions. I think they work almost perfect to give us amazing experience to explore his world. I'm really interested in his new work which comes out this March. respect.

僕が感じる彼らの音楽（特にLIVE）というのは、ヨーロッパのクラブミュージックとアートの歴史が、MatとMarkの二人の個性を通して作為無く自然な流れに沿ってたどり着いた結果であるように思う。複雑だけどシンプルで、デジタルだけど有機的で、実験的だけど踊れるし、過激だけどポップ.. etc..。この物理世界の中では、どの分野でも、素晴らしい作品、もしくは素晴らしい結果というものは、彼らの音楽のように両極端な要素が共存するものではないかと感じます。自然界に存在するものは全てこの二極性を備え持っていて、そこから生まれるエネルギーが人間を問答無用に感動させる。優れたアート作品というのは、そういう意味で限りなく自然の生成物に近い要素を持っていると言って良いのではないかと思います。人間も自然の一部ですもんね。当たり前と言えば辺り前ですね。写真を撮るチャンスをくれたMatとMarkに感謝 + respect. プレス用に使ってくれるって！嬉しい。
I've been a big fan of their music since one of my friend played me their "make snd cassette" in 1999. From their sound ,especially their LIVE shows, i feel, from Japanese point of view, something strongly condensed through their experiences in European club music and art culture. it's so straight and simple, but really complex and extremely efficient at the same time. As our mother nature always has ambipolar aspects in everywhere, I think their music and LIVE shows also has this aspects in every moment, and this make people move and feel something special without any reason. I know that human beings are also part of nature, so maybe it is normal to feel like this, but I feel something really "nature" from their music which is filled with cutting edge digital sounds. it is 100% artificial, but really close to nature. amazing. I'd like to say thank you to Mat and Mark for giving me a chance to shoot their photos this time. THANK YOU + respect.
Private Party tourが始まりました。３日の大分、４日の京都のLIVEはどちらもええ感じでまとめられたと思ってます。３日の大分はちょっとストロボが強過ぎたみたいで、、オーディエンスの皆さんには申し訳無かったです。。京都は理想通りの音が出せて自分でも満足してます。３日のrent, ４日のles siestas electroniquesに来てくださった皆さんと、オーガナイザ＋関係者の皆さんに心から感謝をお伝えしたい。ありがとうございました。
Private Party tour has started now. I'm quite satisfied with those two shows in Ohita on 3rd and Kyoto on 4th of October. I'd like to say thank you to every audience who came and also organizers and people who worked there. Thank you so much.
今回のLIVEセットは、みんなに適当に踊ったり飲んだり話したりナンパしたりされたりしてもらえたらええなーって感じで組んでみたんですけど、最初の二つのLIVEではみんな結構真剣に聴き入ってくれたみたいでしたね。今週末は名古屋と福岡で,その後に札幌、大阪、東京って感じです。楽しみ。僕も遊びながら踊りながらLIVEしてるので、皆さんも適当に遊んでもらえると嬉しいな。let's have fun.

22日のLIVEの後にそのまま東京から名古屋に行って、club MagoでやってたDARTRIXのLIVEを観に行く。二人共カッコ良かったー、、LIVEの出だしとか鳥肌経ちました。やっぱりmagoは音が良いですね。音の良いクラブで良い音楽聴くのって本当にリッチな時間やなって思いました。フミヤさんのDJも凄かった!!!!!!!
After my LIVE show on 22nd in Tokyo i went to Nagoya to see DARTRIX's LIVE show at club Mago. I really loved their show.. sounds amazing... especially I really loved the first part. They have really good sound system in Mago, and i thought listening good music with good sound system is one of the richest moment in my life, isn't it? And Fumiya-san's DJ was INCREDIBLE!!!!!
翌日の24日に大阪のROCKETSであったGolden Pink ArrowのLIVEを観に行く。実は僕彼らのLIVEを観るのは初めてやったんです。いやー、これもヤバかった。。ACOとサワイ君のコンビはもう言う事無しにカッコ良いのは分かってるけど、Simmy-Hendrixことシミちゃんのギターとタナカ君のドラムが入る事によって、更に音楽として高い波動が出てた気がした。タナカ君の写真がなくてごめんなさい。。タナカ君、ドラムめっちゃ良かったで。マジで。GPAの皆さん、お願いやからもっとLIVEやってください。
and i went to ROCKETS in Osaka to see Golden Pink Arrow's show. It was also AMAZING.. I knew ACO and Taeji make really cool sounds but a guitarist Simmy-Hendrix ;-) and drummer Tanaka-kun also played amazing sound and they all worked in a perfect way..I felt amazing vibration from them. Please play more. Please do not stop.

25日は京都精華大学でLIVEをさせていただく。今回僕にチャンスを与えてくれたスタッフの皆さん全員と観に来てくれた方々全員に感謝したい。ありがとうございました。良いイベントやったなー。本当に楽しかった。最近楽しい事ばっかり。

僕のLIVEは、、大阪は結構ええ感じでいけたと思うんですけど、東京は小さいミスもいくつかあったし、モニターしずらかったのもあって自分的には不完全燃焼でした。。でもLIVEの後に沢山の方々から声をかけていただけて、その方たちには楽しんでいただけたようなので良かった。次の東京は２２日のWOMBっていう所です。行った事ないから楽しみ。

I'm quite satisfied with my LIVE in Osaka but I made some small mistakes in Tokyo show... However some people talked to me after the show and told me that they enjoyed it so.. I think it was OK. My next show in Tokyo will be at the club called WOMB in Shibuya on 22nd of Nov.

今回のイベントでドラマーとして参加しておられた渡邊充さん。僕らはワタンベさんと呼んでますが、やっぱりこの方のドラムは素晴らしい、かっこいい。。何回聴いても凄い。最近ワタンベさんが参加してるBOLSHOIZも良い。スゲー適当で勢いがあって良い！
My favorite drummer Mitsuru Watanabe, we call him WATANBE, also played for those two shows in Osaka and Tokyo. I really really love his drum sound... amazing. and HIs another band called BOLSHOIZ is also great. they're really energetic.
トウヤマさんは今回ピアノだけで演奏された。楽器一つで音楽を奏でられるって本当に素晴らしい事だと思いました。僕なんて電気とコンピュータが無かったら音楽作れないし。。
東京のLIVEの翌日は飯野賢治さんとお会いする。以前から遊ぼー遊ぼーって約束しててやっと実現。二人でかなり盛り上がって、飯野さんの事務所で爆音で僕の新曲とかお互いのお気に入りの曲とか流し合いながら踊りまくり。飯野さんありがとうございました！完璧に楽しかった。詳しくは飯野さんのblogで ;-)

写真とは全く関係ないんですが、先日初めてRyoji Ikedaさんにお会いする機会をいただけた。ホントに奇妙な縁でお会いさせていただく事になったんです。出会いって面白い。池田さんのアーティストとしてのまっすぐな姿勢に感銘を受ける。音とご本人の感じがブレてないのが凄いと思いました。結局音ってその人そのものなんやなー。お会いできて嬉しかった。これからYCAMで次の作品の制作に入られるそうです。
There's no relation to those photos, but i had a chance to meet Mr.Ryoji Ikeda the other day. I was really impressed by his attitude on his works as an artist. His music represents himself. This is what i thought when i met Ikeda-san. Respect. He said he's gonna start working his next piece soon at YCAM in Japan.

先日友人が撮ってくれた。新しいアーティスト写真が欲しいなーって思ってたので、これでええかなって思ったけど、、やっぱりやめときます。アーティスト写真を用意せなアカン時っていつもホンマに困る。
日本も色々と大変な事になってるみたいですね。。原発による放射能汚染が心配です。。都心のネオンとか昼間は全部消せば良いのに。あれは必要ないと思う。それにあれだけコンビニがあったら自動販売機もいらんと思うんです。
Mstislav Rostropovich (1927 ~ 2007)
最近死っていうものはそれほど悲しむべきものではなくて、それはただのエネルギーの移動であって、エネルギー形態が変化するだけっていう考え方が僕にとってしっくり来るようになった。肉体っていうハードが古くなったり壊れたりしても、そこにインストールされてたソフトウェアはエネルギー体としてそのままどこかに吸収されているに違いない。と僕は感じてます。この方の"Bach (JS): Cello Suites #1-6"は、知って以来ほぼ毎日聴いてました。Rostropovichさんのエネルギーも、Klockさんのエネルギーも、きっとどっかに吸収されて今も存在してる。RESPECT
Recently i feel like death is not something that make us feel sad or depressed, it's just one of a way of trasformation of energy. This idea makes me feel confortable when i think about it. When the hardware(body) gets old or maybe broken, the software(energy) will be absorbed to somewhere else. It must be like this. I've been listening his "Bach (JS): Cello Suites #1-6" almost everyday since i knew it. Respect.

一緒に食事をさせていただいた時に撮りました。未だにお亡くなりになられた事が信じられない。。

Ken (The SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA)
今週は黒川良一君とThe SINE WAVE ORCHESTRAの古館君が遊びに来てくれた。１６日には黒川君のLIVEを観に行ってきました。久しぶりに観た彼のLIVEは以前よりも色んな面でクオリティが更に増してて、LIVEの後はホントちょっとした短編映画を観た気分になった。皆さんも機会があれば是非。ただ残念ながら日本でのパフォーマンスの機会はあんまり無いみたい、、なんで？？欧米では正にひっぱりダコ状態やのにね....
ヨーロッパツアーの合間にウチに遊びに来てくれた二人に感謝。久しぶりに二人とゆっくり話せて良かった。
An audiovisual artist RYOICHI KUROKAWA and Ken from The SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA visited my place during their Europe tour. and I went to see RYOICHI's LIVE show in Paris on 16th. His LIVE gets more high quality in many dimensions compare to his show in a few years ago, and after the show i felt like that i saw a great short movie. Please check his performance when you have a chance. I don't know why but he doesn't have much opportunities to perform in Japan... why?? Anyway, I'd like say thank you for two of them.

ご無沙汰してます。２月に入ってからは細野さんのトリビュートアルバムの作業とか、以前このブログでもご紹介した韓国人ミュージシャンのJung Jae Hyungのアルバム制作に参加させてもらったりしてます。ここ数年で久しぶりにLIVEのない数ヶ月を過ごしました。なんか新鮮。
It's been a while again. I've been working on Haruomi Hosono's tribute album and also working on Korean Musician Jung Jae Hyung's album from the beginning of February.
僕は楽譜が読めないし書けないけど、JaeHyungは曲が思いつくとスラスラと楽譜に起こしていく。音楽家としては当たり前の事なんだろうけど、実は僕こういう作業を目の前で見るのは初めてで、ちょっと感動。横から見てて彼の頭の中で音楽が鳴ってるのが分かる。
I can't read and write score at all, but JaeHyung fluently writes his ideas as music score. I'm sure that it's normal thing for REAL musician, but.. Anyway, it was the first time for me to see somebody is writing score in front of me. When i saw him writing it, i definitely knew that his brain was filled with music. Amazing.
パリで今月開かれてるRETROMOBILEっていうクラッシックカーの展示販売会に行ってきました。以前このブログでも紹介させていただいたAKIHIRO KAMIMURAさんも来られていたので、合流させてもらいました。上村さん、今回も刺激的なお話ありがとうございました。
I went to RETROMOBILE 2007 Paris the other day, with Mr.AKIHIRO KAMIMURA. I mentioned about him on my previous entry. I think He's one of the best 1/43 scale modeler of all.
80年代のF1マシンが売ってました. 車が温室効果ガスを出さなかったら良いのにな、、ってホントに思う、、。地球環境の事を考えたら、湯水のようにガソリンを使うF1はやっぱり規制、もしくはルール変更されるベキなんでしょうね。でも美しいなー。

先日サワイ君から『今パリでベルリン行きの飛行機がキャンセルになったから遊びに行っていいか』って突然連絡があって、久しぶりにウチに来てくれた。ACOとのバンド "golden pink arrow?" の話とか、おもろい話を色々聞かせてもらってまた刺激をもらえました。映像作家のYuki Kawamuraも来てくれて、皆でずっと大爆笑。腹筋が切れそうでした。。突然予告もなしに友人が訪ねて来るって良いですね。あと実際に会って話すのと、チャットとか電話で話すのとではホンマに情報量が違うなって痛感しましたね。楽しかったなー、サワイ君ありがとー。
Taeji Sawai, one of my favorite artists and one of my friends accidentally visited my place a few days ago. He visited Europe to perform in Berlin but his flight from Paris to Berlin was cancelled then gave me a phone call. He told me some news about his new band with a Japanese female vocalist ACO called "golden pink arrow?" and some other funny stories and we exchanged news each other. Visual artists Yuki Kawamura who lives in Paris also came to see him and they made me laugh to death with their funny stories... It's really good when have sudden visit.

この人の脱力感と適当さが、なんか好きです。英語で何て言えば良いのか分からんです。

今日は初めてオートクチュールのショーを観る機会をいただけました。Adeline Andreっていう方です。どの作品も過剰な装飾が全然なくて、素材感と色と着た時のフォルムが凄く綺麗で繊細で軽やかで、見た目はシンプルですけど、なんか言語やったら説明できない何かがあるような気がしました。それって全ての芸術作品にとって凄く重要な要素である気がするんですよね。Adelineも日本大好きだそうです。オートクチュールってスゲー.. 高そー... ユキエちゃんとAdelineに感謝。
I visited Adeline Andre's show this evening. Thanks to Yukie who gave us this opportunity and Adeline. I really loved the way she uses those specific materials and colors and also I loved their shapes. They're all look simple but have something very special which is invisible and difficult to explain in words. And i think this is really important thing for every art work. This is the first time i saw Haute Couture show, and it was unforgettable moment. They all must be really expensive...
今まで寒い日とかホンマに嫌やったけど、寒いはずの時期に寒くないっていうのは、ちょっと色々と考えさせられる。そろそろF1の2007年用ニューマシンが発表され始める時期なんですけど、F1は環境に良くないしなーって思うと、なんか最近は盛り上がりきれないです。でもF1は大好き。。矛盾やね。
そんな時に下記のようなムービーを見つけました。水（海水もOKだそうです）を燃料として使って、排ガスは水蒸気を出すっていうエンジンを搭載した車。ホンマかいなと思ってwikipediaで調べたら、この技術は今科学的に真偽を問うている状態 だそうです。そのページで気になったのが、この技術を発見したStanley Meyerさんが1998年にレストランで食事した後に亡くなられてる事。う〜ん、、世界ってこんなんばっかり。。各国政府の偉い人達にお願いしたい。戦争とか人殺しはもういいから、この技術を大々的に導入してください、お願いします、ほんまに。
この技術がF1に使えたらなー。水蒸気が出るから路面は常にウェットやね。

I hate cold but when it's not cold even in mid winter, I become a bit anxious. New F1 cars for 2007 season are coming out this winter season, but i cannot really feel happy about this exciting news these days because I've been thinking about global warming. Then i found some movies above which is about Water fuel cell. Wikipedia says "The neutrality and factual accuracy of this article are disputed." And it also says Mr.Stanley Meyer who invented this technology died after eating at a restaurant on 21 March 1998. mmhhh... Always like this... I find this kind of stories very often recently. Anyway, I'd like to ask people who's working for each governments to use this technologies in anyway, instead of spending a lot of money on bombing and killing innocent people. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.
If they use this technology on F1 cars, the engine produces water vapor as exhaust gas, so it must be wet condition in all time ;-)
フィリピンにも同じような技術を見つけた方がおられました。政府が取り合ってくれないって嘆いておられる。やっぱりこの技術は今の権力者さん達には都合が悪いのかな。石油用のインフラが全部いらんくなるし、収入がなくなるしね。正に一長一短、どこかが伸びればどこかがヘコむ。大いなる自然の摂理やね。

長野からそのまま東京入りして数日間東京に滞在してました。その時にSound&Recording誌に『PARABOLICA』に関してインタヴューをしていただけました。ありがとうございました！なかなかメディアに出る機会が無いので、本当に嬉しいです。来月ぐらいに出るそうですので、是非チェックしてみてくださいね。
その翌日に僕が以前から大ファンだった上村アキヒロさんにお会いする事ができました。上村さんは鍼灸師・柔道整復師としての本業の傍ら、模型誌などで世界規模に作品を発表されておられるモデラーの方で、主に1/43っていう小さいスケールの自動車模型を作っておられます。その完成度はもう信じられないぐらい精巧で、とにかく志が高い。今回初めて実物を見せていただけたんですが、、自分の目がおかしくなったのかと思うぐらい精密に実車の感じを表現されています。ダントツですね。凄い！上村さん、今回は本当にありがとうございました！まさかお会いできるとは思ってなかった！
I visited Tokyo after Nagano, and I met Mr.Akihiro Kamimura who makes models of small cars which is in 1/43 scale. You can check some of his works at his web. It's incredible.. They're all super small but also super precise. He brought one of his works when we met, and when i saw it, there were no words.. You can also check some of his working diary. Please check it when you have time. I'd like to say thank you to Mr.Kamimura for giving me a chance to talk to you and thank you for showing me your works. They were amazing.

大阪に帰ったその日に、京都のclub METROで行われてたテクノパーティー" P I C A S S O "に行ってきました。このパーティーは僕のテクノ先生でもあり、僕のprofileやアルバムのプレスリリースも書いてくれている親友のkohei君と、以前からずっとお世話になってるKO-JAXさんが二人で毎月やってるイベントです。この日は結構疲れてたんですけど、いやー、ホンマに行って良かった！僕ってクラブには自分が出る時ぐらいしか行かないけど(タバコ臭くなるのが嫌)、でもこのパーティーは特別。kohei君のDJプレイは本当に素晴らしい。品があって、丁寧で、構成も文句ないし、選曲も最高。KO-JAXさんのDJも男！って感じのテクノで最高に踊れました。二人とも全然チャラくなくて良い、それに志が高い。僕は普段パリにいるからなかなか来れないけど今回やっと行けました。こんな良いパーティーに気軽に行ける関西のみんなが羨ましい。。パリではこんな上質のテクノパーティーはあり得ないですね。もっと大味。僕の音が好きな方はきっと楽しめると思いますよ。次回は12月19日です。是非！あの場にいた人達はセンス良いなー。
Right after i came back to Osaka, I went to club METRO in Kyoto to go to the techno party called " P I C A S S O " which is organized by two Japanese DJ kohei and KO-JAX. Kohei is like my techno teacher and also he writes my profles and press releases everytime. He's one of my best friends and I respect him as a DJ very much. I really really love his set all the time. Please check it if you live in Kyoto or somewhere around there. KO-JAX is also my favorite DJ. I think people who likes my music can appriciate what they do. Their next pary will be on 19th of December.

先週の話になってしまうんですけど、今Centre Pompidouで行われている展示に現代美術家の田中功起さんが参加されていて、そのオープニングに招待していただいたので観に行ってきました。ココでの展示は複数のアーティストが参加して一つの映像作品を作ってた事もあって、あんまり田中さんの魅力バッチリっていう訳では無かったんですが、それでも数多くのアーティストに囲まれながらも彼自身の個性をしっかり見せていた事が素晴らしかったなー。
Contemporary artist Mr.Koki Tanaka invited me to the opening event of his exhibition at Centre Pompidou last week. It was like a group work this time, and To be honest i prefer his solo works, but I felt that he still show his strong character in this work. and i think it is very important thing.

田中さんはその展示の少し前にもウチに遊びに来てくれて、映像作品を見せてくださったり、Palais de Tokyoでの作品も一ついただいた。田中さんありがとう！僕は田中さんの作品が大好きなんですよね。。なんか物凄い切れ味で、シンプルで、クールで、色もいい感じやし、それに物理法則をとても上手く美しく利用した映像なんかも大好きなんです。僕がリズムを作る段階で常に意識しているのが物理法則なので、最初見た時はビックリしました。同じ視点の人が居た！って思いましたね（僕が知らないだけで本当は他にも沢山おられるんだろうけど）。いずれにしても田中さんの着目点が良い、素晴らしいアーティスト。頑張れ日本人！
He visited my place few days before the exchibitoin and showed me some of his visual works and also gave me one of the works he did at Palais de Tokyo. Thank you so much Tanaka-san! I really really like his works because his works are always sharp, cool, simple, and I like the colors he uses and also I really like the way he uses physical law in his visual works. He uses it in really beautiful way. I'm also always trying to attach the highest importance to think about physical law when i produce drum patterns, so I sympathize with his way of thinking and the way of showing his works very much. great artist!
田中さんはパリでの滞在期間を終えられて今日ぐらい東京に帰られたはず。次回２月か３月にパリに来られるとの事だったので、その時にはsync podcastでインタヴューさせてもらおうと思ってます。
He's going back to Japan this time but he's coming to back to Paris again next March for his another exhibition, so we should interview him next time on our sync podcast.

STOP-ROKKASHO.orgに参加しているアーティストのメイリングリストで、shing02 さんがお書きになられた『僕と核』を知って読ませていただきました。素晴らしい内容です。是非皆さんにも読んでいただきたいし、どうかご友人、ご家族にも伝えていただきたい。僕も今まで漠然としか理解してなかった原子力に関して、凄く分かりやすい表現で書かれたレポートです。これは一読の価値あり。shing02さん、ありがとうございました。良い勉強になりました。ちょっと更に目が覚めた感じがした。
Many artists joined STOP-ROKKASHO.org now and we use a mailing list to share a lot of important and interesting informations about nuclear power. shing02 who's also joins this project sent us a great report about nuclear power which I didn't really know very much (maybe only Japanese don't know..or Do your governments tell you about it? In Japan, not really. they only tell us that it's SAFE). The report is called "BOKU TO KAKU", unfortunately it is only written in Japanese, but he speaks perfect English so you might be able to check it in English in the near future. BOKU means "me", TO means "and", and KAKU means "nuclear" in Japanese. I learned a lot from his report and I'm glad that i know it. Thank you very much Mr.Shing02. Your report woke me up.
同じくSTOP-ROKKASHO.orgを通して、田中優さんの著書も２冊教えてもらいました。僕も早速購入して日本から送ってもらって読みました。これらもまた素晴らしい内容です。希望が持てる。今の僕たちの生活環境を大幅に変更する事なく環境に優しい省エネな生活を実現する方法や、やっぱり何かおかしい日本を含めた世界のエネルギー政策に関して詳しく知る事ができます。僕もこの本に書かれてある省エネ対策を、今できる事から早速実行してます。電気代安くなると良いけど。知るって重要ですね。。田中さん、素晴らしい内容の本をありがとうございました。勉強になりました。２冊買っても結構安いし、サラっと読めるページ数なのであっという間に読めました。プレゼントに良いかも。
先日僕の妹が子供を産みました。その子の為にも良い環境を作っていきたい。日本、いや、世界を変えていきましょう！戦争なんて絶対いらない。っていうか平和じゃないと音楽なんてやってられない。

以前このblogにも書いた北京在住のアーティストfm3 のChristiaan VirantとZhang Jianが久しぶりに連絡をくれたので会いに行ってきました。その時にプレゼントとしてくれたのが上のBOX。普段彼らは凄く質の高いアンビエントミュージックを作ってるアーティストなんですけど、なんとこのBOXが彼らの最新アルバム。スピーカ付きのこのBOXには9曲の短いループが収録されていて、横のボタンを一度押すと次の曲にスキップされます。ボリュームも変えれるし、ステレオミニの出力も付いてます。全部で７色。その時に一つはもらったんですけど、でもこれ絶対３個以上あった方が面白いと思ってオレンジと白も購入。夜これを部屋の隅とかに置いて、微妙な音量で流したりしてるんですよ。なんかThe Sine Wave Orchestraのイベントってこんな感じなのかなって思ったんですけど。(S.W.O.の皆、いつも行けなくてゴメン） もう一個買っとけば良かった。Brian Enoも購入済みだとか。今はもうアーティスト活動よりも、このfm3 BOXの生産で忙し過ぎるぐらい売れてるそうです。日本でも売りたいみたいなんですけど、変な法律があって大手のレコードショップでは扱ってもらえないとの事。どなたか日本でのディストリビューションにご興味のある方は、是非fm3にコンタクトしてあげてください。Christiaan,Zhang Jian 謝謝!!
fm3 from Beijing gave me a call when they stopped by Paris during their Europe tour. I think some people already knew about this, but they gave a fm3 BOX as a present. fm3 have been producing really high quality ambient music and i really like their works and I was surprized when they told me that this is one of thier latest releases. This box has speaker, volume change dial, stereo mini out-put and operated by batteries. and also 9 sophisticated songs and you can skip the song with skip button. I really really liked it and bought 2 more :-) I put them randomly in my room and played them very quiet. It was really really great. I thought It might be similar to The Sine Wave Orchestra's performnace. Brian Eno also bought some of them. They sell this at the venue when they perform. Try it when you have a chance to see their performance. Thank you very much Christiaan and Zhang Jian!!
最近天気良いから洗濯物が速く乾くんで良いんですけど、でも暑過ぎる。パリは本来こんなに暑くなる場所じゃなかったって皆言ってます。

６月２１日の夏至の日は、以前このブログでもご紹介した Fete de la Musiqueっていう音楽祭みたいなイベントがフランス国内全土であるんですね。この日のパリは街中のいたる所でフリーコンサートが開かれていて、夜も１０時半まで明るいし、みんな丸一日ノリノリです。普段ちょっと気取ってるフランス人も、この日はラテンの血が炸裂してしまって我慢できなくなってる人が多くて、結構見てて楽しいです。僕もこの日に韓国人音楽家Jae-Hyung Jungのコンサートに、サポートメンバーとして参加させてもらいます。彼はピアノとヴォーカルで、Lee Jung-ranさんがチェロ、JUNOがコンピュータで、僕がリズムとエフェクト担当。今日は当日会場となるCentre Culturel Coreen : 韓国文化センターでその練習をしてきたんですけど、まだちょっと課題満載って感じです。でもきっと大丈夫、頑張ります。本番が楽しみです。明日もこのメンツで練習です。Jae-Hyungはパリの音大に通いながら音楽活動をしている音楽家で、韓国の映画音楽やその他ポップミュージックなども手がけています。かなりエモーショナルで美しい音楽を作ってます。
A Korean musician Jae-Hyung Jung asked me to join his band when he have his concert on 21st of June Fete de la Musique at Korean Cultural Centerl . and Today we had second practice at there with Him (piano and vocal), Lee Jung-ran (cello), Juno (computer) and me. I'm gonna play rhythm section and sound effects. We still need more practice before the show but it'll be OK. We'll work hard till 21st. I'm looking forward to it. We're gonna practice tomorrow too.

日本語のウェブもアップ予定です
青森県六ヶ所村にある核燃料再処理施設の本格稼働中止を求めて、坂本龍一さんをはじめ環境問題に関心のある多くのアーティスト達が集まって『Stop ROKKASHO.org』というウェブを作りました。微力ながら僕も参加させていただいています。
僕も最初は原子力による発電はある程度放射能は出るけど、まだクリーンな方やとずっと思ってたんです。でも去年の夏ぐらいに１級プラント配管技能士の平井憲夫さんという方が、97年に亡くなられる前にお書きになられた『原発がどんなものか知ってほしい 』というウェブを読んでからは、自分がどれだけ原発に関して無知だったかを痛感させられて、原発に対する自分の考えを根本から変えざるを得なくなりました。ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、この六ヶ所村にある再処理施設というのは、１日で普通の原発が出す放射能の１年分を出してしまうようなそんな施設なんです。僕も自分には何ができるんかなって結構悩みましたが、何もしないで終わるよりも、とにかく自分ができる何らかの方法でアクションを起こそうって思ってたんです。ちょうどその時に坂本さんからご連絡をいただいて、今回このアクションに参加させていただく事にしました。興味のある方は是非このウェブをチェックしてみてください。今は英語だけですが、これから週ごとに日本語のウェブも含めてアップされる予定です。自分にはまだ子供もいないけど、僕と同じ世代の人たちの子供や孫が大人になる頃には一体この地球はどうなってるのかって考えると、今行動を起こさずにはいられないと思ったんです。毎日自分がやりたい事をやって生活していくには、まずはその土台をしっかりさせなアカンなって思って。
"Bricolages" -CHASM REMIXES- Warner Music Japan
こういう内容のエントリーの時にリリース情報を同時にupするのもどうかと思ったんですけど、僕にとって音楽は今自分ができる最大のアクションの一つやと思っているので、この同じエントリーにリリース情報を書かせていただきます。2004年にリリースされた坂本龍一さんのアルバム『CHASM』のリミックスアルバム、"Bricolages"が５月２４日に日本先行でリリースされる事になりました。僕は『CHASM』の中から"War&Peace"という曲を選びました。自分でもこのREMIXではかなり良い仕事をしたんじゃないかと思ってます。前から何度も言ってるけど、リミックスっていうのは原曲のポテンシャルが高ければ高い程良いものに仕上がると僕は思うんです。この坂本さんの原曲も曲の持つポテンシャルもアイデアも素晴らしい。作曲者へのリスペクトを表す方法として、その原曲をさらに高い位置にまで持って行くというのが僕が常にリミックスの時に心掛けている事の一つなんです。今回はそれがかなり良い位置にまで持って行けたような気がします。是非チェックしてみてください。坂本さん、今回僕にリミックスのチャンスをくださって本当にありがとうございました。勉強になりました。
I don't know if it's a right place to annouce my new releases infomation but, I believe that the music is the only way to express myself, so I'd like to inform you my new release information about REMIX album "Bricolages" of Ryuichi Sakamoto's album called "CHASM" which was released in 2004. You can check some more information on my news. They'll release it in Japan first then in also Europe and US. I'm not really sure exactly when they release it in overseas but I'll let you know as soon as i get information about it. I did quite good job this time, and I really like this REMIX myself because the original song "War&Peace" is really beautiful song. Whenever I do REMIX I always get a lot of help from those original songs. I always try to make them better to show my respect to composers who gave me a chance to remix their works. and this time it worked in really good way. Please check it when you have a chance. I'd like to say thank you very much to Mr.Ryuichi Sakamoto who gave me a chance to remix his work. I learned so many things from it.
明日パリに戻ります。今回の帰国はホンマに楽しかった。

昨日の大阪は今日と同じようにすっきりとした天気が気持ちよかったから、自転車で僕の昔からの友人でもあり、僕を本格的に音楽の世界に導いてくれた師匠でもあり、尊敬するアーティストでもあるeater のスタジオに遊びに行ってきました。久しぶりに会って色々と話せてホントに楽しかった。凄く良い刺激をもらいました。カツキ君、ありがとう。
It was really nice weather in Osaka yesterday just like today, so i visited eater who's one of my best friend, one of my master, and one of my favorite musician. He also put some of his song on a compilation album of op.disc. I met him after a long time and we talked a lot at his brand new studio in Osaka. He gave me a lot of inspiration this time. Thank you eater!
そこで聴かせてもらった彼の新曲はもうヒクぐらいかっこよくて、ノリノリで踊りながら『アカン！負けてる！』って本気で思った。僕の新曲も聴いてもらってお互い意見交換しながら色んな話をしたんです。彼が今準備してるアルバムはきっと物凄いものになるやろうなって思いました。彼にも近い将来徳井君とのpodcastingに出てもらおう。いやー、eaterを始めこんな刺激的なアーティスト達と昔から友人として知り合えた僕はすげーラッキー。今日も天気良いし、散歩がてら本屋さんにでも行こう。
He played some of his latest works fot me and they were extremely great! I was kind of shocked :-) and I really really liked them and enjoyed them very much. I need to work more... I also played some of my new works and we talked about our works and so many other things too. I'm quite sure that his next album will be one of his best album, i hope it'll be distributed overseas too. I need to ask him to talk on me and Nao Tokui's podcasting in the near future. I'm so lucky that I was able to know him as a friend from long time ago.
This is my breakfast for yesterday morning. it's Tipical Japanese way and it's nice.

１月末からRYOICHI KUROKAWA 君がパリ入りしていたので、二日連続でウチに友人達を集めて夕食を食べました。写真は左から最近仲良くしてもらってるDJのSIMON、先日フランスの映像レーベルlowaveからDVDをリリースしたKawamura Yuki, RYOICHI KUROKAWA 、と僕です。Kawamura Yukiも、黒川君、高木君と同じく大学時代からの友人です。久しぶりに黒川君を含めて皆でバカ騒ぎして面白かった。笑い過ぎて腹筋が切れそうでした。
RYOICHI KUROKAWA came to Paris in the end of January and we had small party at my place two straight nights. You can see in the photo above from left to right, SIMON who does DJ in Paris and i learned a lot of things about hiphop from him recently, Kawamura Yuki who released a DVD works on a French visual label lowave the other day, RYOICHI KUROKAWA and me.
黒川君は今日からしばらくヨーロッパを回りながらライヴや展示を行うそうなので、機会がある方は是非。彼のウェブで詳細がチェックできます。同じく Kawamura Yukiも半野さん、黒川君と一緒に何カ所かでライヴがあるそうです。楽しそう。良いなー。僕も一緒に行きたい。
RYOICHI is planning to have some shows and exhibitions in some cities in Europe soon, so please check his web and his works when you have a chance. He's a great visual artist, I promise. and Kawamura Yuki also has some LIVE shows with Yoshihiro HANNO and Ryoichi at some places too. It sounds fun..
その日にホント久しぶりにざくろを食べた。色がすげー奇麗で、できれば種を取り除いた実だけ５００粒ぐらいボールに入れてスプーンで一気に食べたかったけど、それは無理っぽいので諦めた。残念。前に種を取り除いたアメリカンチェリー１０個ぐらいを一気に食べた事があって、その時は物凄いでかいチェリーを一口で食べた気分がしてなかなか爽快でした。アメリカンチェリーには物凄い量の農薬が付いてるらしいけど、いずれにしてもお試しあれ。
We had rum blossom on that night after a long time. The color was really beautiful. I wanted to eat this without seeds 500 pieces at the same time with a spoon but i had to give up ;-)
Anyway, once i had 10 american cherries without seeds at the same time, and i felt like i ate one huge cherry and it was awesome :-) However you'll also get a lot of agrichemical with those american cherries at the same time but anyway, you should try this.
部屋の外からブーブーとクラクションの音が鳴り響いていたので何かと思って外を見てみると、１台のsmartが２台の車に挟まれて出れなくなってる。後ろのsmartが明らかに悪いんやろうけど、、それにしても何ていう車の止め方。。最近もうこの光景には慣れたけど、最初見た時はびっくりした。どういう神経してあんな止め方するのか分からない。物凄い価値観だと思う。結局真ん中のsmartの持ち主は小１時間ほど挟まれたまま途方に暮れてたけど、僕が気が付いた時にはもういなかった。コレってパリだけの話なのかな、、イタリアでもこういう事ありそう。サンドイッチされたsmartのドライバーには申し訳ないけどコメディーを見てるようで面白かった。それにしても寒い！
I heard honking horns from the street the other day and i saw a sight like photo above. A smart in the middle couldn't go out because of the other smart behind. This happens quite often in Paris but what about other cities in Europe or America? This never happens in Japan, I'm quite sure. I'm sorry for the driver of sandwiched smart, but it was quite fun to see from my window. It's really cold in Paris isn't it??

先日久しぶりにごっそりまとめてCDを買いました。こっちのCD屋さんって全部試聴できるから、間違ってダメな作品を購入する事がないので凄く良い。今回購入した中でも一番感動したのがEMI classicsからリリースされている Mstislav Rostropovich演奏の"Bach Cello Suites Nos.1, 4&5"。CDとDVDの２枚組でCDの内容はもちろんのこと、DVDに収録されているRostropovichさんの演奏が素晴らしい、美しい、人間って凄い！人間にはこんな素晴らしい事ができるなんて、、ほんと大感動で何度観ても涙ものです。ノリノリで何度も何度も観ました。またちょっと自分のリミッターが一つ外れた気がしたので、また後で観ようと思ってます。この人達と比較されたら、僕なんて自分がミュージシャンだって言うのも恥ずかしい。アカン、もっと頑張ろ。。
I bought quite a lot of CDs the other day, and i was shocked by one of the CDs which is Mstislav Rostropovich's "Bach Cello Suites Nos.1, 4&5" released on EMI classics. This album contains both CD and DVD. Of course I enjoyed the CD very much but more shocking was the DVD. You can see his playing in the huge church and it was incredible, beautiful, and Human beings are soooo great! I couldn't imagine that human beings can play such a beautiful sound... This DVD really moved me. It was soo groovy and i was dancing when i was watching it. I felt like one of my limiter was gone again by watching this DVD. If i could see him by any chance and if he ask me "Are you also a musician?" then i have to say "No.I'm not!"

Radio Franceの企画で2006年３月に予定されているコンサートに半野さんが参加される事になっていて、その下準備として今半野さんはRadio France内にあるスタジオでライヴの準備をされてます。Radio Franceに入る事なんて滅多に無いと思って半野さんに連れて行ってもらいました。半野さん、ありがとうございました。
このイベントでは５０発以上ものスピーカをコンサートホールに設置して、半野さん、池田亮司さん、Pan Sonicなど（他にも沢山）のアーティストがライヴを行うという企画だそうです。しかも無料！! フランス国営ラジオの企画に日本人が二人も食い込んでる。。。なんて誇らしい事やろうと思う。いずれにしてもすげー施設。。３月のコンサートが楽しみです。その時期にパリにおられる方は是非。頑張れ日本人！！
Yoshihiro HANNO will perform at Radio France in March 2006. And now he's been preparing his LIVE set in the studio of Radio France. This time he gave me a chance to visit there. Thank you so much MR.Hanno!
For this event, artists use more than 50 speakers in the concert hall for their performance. There're many great artists are planning to play such as Yoshihiro Hanno, Ryoji Ikeda, Pan Sonic and so on. and it's for FREE! I'm so proud to hear that two Japanese artists are participating for this great event.
I'm really looking forward to see this event. Please check this when you have a chance to visit Paris in this period.
半野さんの制作の為に用意されたハンドメイドのヴィンテージモジュラーシンセ。カッコイイ。。例え音がしょうもなくても（そんな事はないと思いますが）存在がカッコイイ。。他のモジュールも段ボール箱に乱雑に入れてありました（フランス式）。僕もいつか使ってみたい。
It's an old handmade vintage modular synthesizer which is provided for Yoshihiro HANNO. it looks sooo cool.. I wanna try to use it someday...

今日（厳密に言うと昨日、でも気分的には今日）の夕方に福岡から大阪に帰ってきました。今回は福岡を拠点に開催されているパーティー"OTONOHA"に参加させていただきました。この場を借りてライヴに来てくださった全ての方々と、オーガナイザの尾崎さん、またこのイベント関わってくれた全ての方々に感謝します。ありがとうございました。今回は先月大阪で黒川君と一緒にやったライヴでの反省点を踏まえて、かなり満足のいくライヴができたと思っています。来てくださった皆さんにもご好評をいただけて嬉しかった。あとラーメンも美味かった。
I came back from Fukuoka this evening. This time i joined a party called "OTONOHA" which is based in Fukuoka. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came and all the staffs who works for this party, especially the organaizer Mr.Ozaki. Thank you. This time i tried to look back what i did in Osaka in last month with Ryoichi Kurokawa and tried to make it better. I think it worked in a good way.

福岡に行く前日は久しぶりに会う友人達と一緒にホルモン鍋。RYOICHI KUROKAWA 君と、先日BEAMS recordsからニューアルバム"good morning"をリリースしたばかりのogurusu norihide君も合流して皆でめちゃめちゃめちゃめちゃ笑ったし鍋はやばいぐらい美味かった。ご存知の方もおられるかもしれませんが、この二人とは大学時代からの友人なんです。楽しかったー。KMCH君、YSO君、ありがとう。
The day before i went to Fukuoka, I had dinner with some of my friends include RYOICHI KUROKAWA and ogurusu norihide. it was extremely funny moment and the dinner was incredible..
後数時間でパリに向けて出発します。ウチの愛犬ともまたしばしのお別れ。。それにしても今回の滞在は今までにないぐらい刺激的だった！ 今回一緒にお仕事をさせていただいた全ての皆さんに心からお礼をお伝えしたい。ありがとうございました。今年の年末は忙しくなりそうです。。

ご無沙汰しておりました。９月１０日から山口県のYCAMで３週間の滞在制作をさせていただく機会をいただきました。フランス人コンテンポラリーダンサーのJean-Baptiste Andre(以下JBA)と映像作家の 松本典子さんと一緒に、１０月１、２日（YCAM)、８、９日（東京森下スタジオ）での公演に向けて準備を進めています。今回僕に滞在制作の機会を与えてくださったYCAMの皆さん、JBA、松本典子さんにこの場をお借りしてお礼をお伝えします。ありがとうございました。公演に関する情報は下記リンクでチェックしてみてください。

It's been a while. Now I'm staying at the place called YCAM in Yamaguchi prefecture to work with a French Contemporary dancer Jean-Baptiste Andre(JBA) and a Japanese visual artist Noriko Matsumoto to make a theater piece. We're going to stay this great place for 3 weeks. We're going to have 4 shows in Japan ,1st and 2nd of October at YCAM and 8th and 9th of October at Morishita studio in Tokyo. I'd like to say thank you to all the people at YCAM who gave me a chance to work in such an incredible place and also thank you to JBA and Noriko Matsumoto. 今回の自分のセットです。KORGからTRITONを貸していただきました。KORGさん、ありがとうございました。それとHammerFall DSP multifaceが３台!!夢のよう。。今日が作業の初日で、早速TRITONを音源として使用させてもらいました。まだドラフト状態ですけど、なかなか良い感じの曲ができたと思います。僕は以前からコンテンポラリーダンス用の音楽を作るのが一つの目標だったので、今回このチャンスを与えていただいて本当に嬉しかった。今から３週間はこの素晴らしい設備の中で、JBAと松本さんと一緒に素晴らしい作品を作りたいと思っています。YCAMは皆さんのお住まいの場所からは少し遠いかもしれないけど、十分足を運ぶ価値のある場所だと思います。機会があれば是非お越し下さい。
This is my set for this project. This time KORG gave a chance to use the brand-new TRITON. Thank you very much. It was the first day of our project today, but I think I made quit good draft work with this. I'm quite happy about it. and also I'm using 3 HammerFall DSP multifaces at the same time!! It's like a dream..
Actually, making music for Contemporary dance is one of my dream and I was so glad when YCAM told me about this project. 今日はウチにツジコノリコが来てくれて、９月３日の心斎橋TowerRecordsでのライヴと１０月２５日のロンドンでのライヴの準備をしました。インストアライヴって初めてなので正直どんな感じになるのか全く予想できないんですけど、いつも通り出来る限りの事をしようと思ってます。
Today Tujiko Noriko came to my place and we worked together for LIVE at Tower Records Shinsaibashi Osaka on 3rd of September and 25th of October in London. I've never done in-store LIVE before so I can't really imagine what it's like.. However we'll do our best as usual.
27日の夜は大阪のclub Rocketsで行われているイベントBrilliantへ。久しぶりにKohei Terazono君の緻密なDJで踊りまくりました。最近はop.disc からリリース予定のアルバム制作の為にテクノを意識的に聴くようにして勉強しています。凄く良い勉強になったし、凄く楽しめた。ゾノ、ありがとう。
I went to the party called "Brilliant" at club Rockets in Osaka on 27th evening. I really enjoyed Kohei Terazono's DJ. I really like his set. Now I'm preparing my new album on op.disc and I learned a lot from his DJ this time. Thanks Kohei.

一昨日の夜にテイ・トウワさんからパリに来てるから会おうって連絡をいただいて、テイさんがDJとして参加するイベントに遊びに行ってきました。シャンゼリゼ通り沿いにある普段僕が絶対に立ち入らない（立ち入れない）ようなゴージャスなクラブでのイベントで、お客さん達も皆ゴージャスな感じやったので僕はちょっと浮いてたかな。テイさんのDJをちゃんと聴くのは今回が初めてやったんですけどこれまた非常にゴージャスでしたね。テイさんのDJには僕には無いエンターテイメント性がたっぷり、学ぶ所が多かったです。最近リリースされた新しいアルバム"FLASH"をいただいたので今聴いてます。
I got a phone call from Towa Tei two days ago and he asked me to come to his event which was held in a gorgeous club by Champs-Elysees street. I've never been this kind of gorgeus club before in Paris(never had a chance) and audience and almost everything was quite different from my kind of events. I felt that his DJ was specialized in entertainment very much and It is totally different from what i do but I learned a lot from his play this time. He gave me his latest album "FLASH" and now I'm listening to it.
テイさんはその翌日（昨日）もパリでDJがあったのでその前に食事に連れて行っていただきました。昨日のパリはちょうど１年前のエントリーにも書いた『Fete de la musique』っていう音楽祭で、街中の至る所に特設ステージが建ってたり、皆がそれぞれの楽器を持ち出して演奏してたりして街が凄く賑わってたんです。そういえば丁度去年のこの日に細野さんとパリで会ったなー。今年はテイさん、、この日はどうも有名人に会う日らしい。テイさんってすげー面白い人。僕が勝手に持ってたイメージと全然違ってました。テイさん、今回は色々と誘っていただいてありがとうございましたー。
Mr.Tei asked me to come to dinner with him before his show Yesterday. It was "Fete de la musique" in Paris, and Every streets were full of crowd and also music. Mr.Tei! Thank you very much for this time!
ここ最近のパリは晴れ過ぎ＋暑過ぎ。まだカラっとしてるだけ大阪とかよりマシかもしれないけど、こっちってクーラーが無いのが普通なので、暑い時はどうしようもなく暑いんです。PowerBookのファンがうるさくて我慢できない。静かなマシンが欲しいなー。仕事にならんです。ってことで仕事するなって言われてるという風に解釈して、とりあえず今はこの暑さを楽しもう。それにしても最近何かが足りないと思ってたらF1が足りない。。大丈夫かなF1。。
It is really too hot and too fine recently in Paris.. It's much better than Osaka maybe because it's not that humid here but still... My Powerbooks are really noisy because of it's fans.. I can't stand it...

パリもすっかり初夏の感じです。今日は昼間にちょっと雨も降ったけど、基本的には涼しくて過ごしやすい日でした。夕方からはパリの南にあるCite Universitaireという所に、徳井君がアーティストのTakumi ENDOさんと一緒に共同で始めるアートプロジェクトのオープニングパーティーに行ってきました。共通の友人達や今日初めてお会いする人達と一緒に楽しい時間を過ごせて良かったなー。徳井君と遠藤さんのプロジェクトも楽しみ。
Recently it's getting like summer here in Paris day by day. We had rain a bit today, but I really enjoy this weather. From the evening, I went to the opening party of the new art project by Nao Tokui and Takumi ENDO at the place called Cite Universitaire in the southern part of Paris. I spent really good time with my friends and I met some nice people for the first time there too. I'm looking forward to their project.
DJやってみたいけどレコードも全然持ってないしターンテーブルも持ってないから。。昔大学の学祭で一回やった事あるけど、ステージでDJしながらノリノリで踊り過ぎて針が飛んだなー。フミヤさんとか徳井君とかテラゾノ君とか見てたら、どうも僕には無理っぽい。
凄く感じの良い部屋でした。遠藤さん、お邪魔しましたー。
昨日からまたしばらく半野さんの犬を預かる事になりました。このコは凄く賢くておとなしい。ウチの実家の犬にもちょっとそういう所を見習って欲しい。。
以前このblogでもご紹介した僕の新しい12inchの発売日が６月１７日に改めて決定しました。皆さんには大変ご迷惑をおかけして申し訳ありませんでした。まだまだ未熟な部分も多いけど、自分では結構気に入ってます。是非お近くのレコードショップで試聴してみてください。
My latest 12inch vinyl was supposed to be released in the end of May, but we had a problem when we press vinyl so we had to change the release date. And Now it'll be released on 17th of June 2005 in Japan. It'll be also distributed in Europe from baked goods distribution too. It is still a bit hard to buy my works in Europe and US.., but please check it when you have a chance to hear it.

ご無沙汰してました。５月２６日から２９日までの４日間、半野喜弘さんとRyoichi Kurokawa君と僕の３人でGeneva, Lausanne, Luzernの３カ所を回る短いスイスツアーを行ってきました。今回このツアーの実現にあたって色々と動いてくれたAnita Scheuberと、３日間のイベントに関わった全ての人々と、ライヴにお越しいただいた全ての方々に感謝します。ありがとう！
写真でもご覧いただけるようにスイスでの３日間は素晴らしい天気に恵まれて、色々と勉強になった事も多かったけど、素晴らしい時間を過ごす事ができました。詳しいレビューはいつも通り近日中にTraksyとLIVE reviewsにアップさせていただく予定です。どうぞお楽しみに。
It's been a while. I just came back from SWISS tour with RADIQ aka Yoshihiro HANNO and Ryoichi Kurokawa a few days ago. We did three LIVE shows in Geneva, Lausanne, Luzern. First of all, I'd like to say thank you to Anita Scheuber who worked so hard to realize this tour and all the people we met and who worked for those events and also people who came to our LIVE shows. Thank you so much.
As you can see from the photos, we had really really beautiful weather in Switzerland this time. I'm planning to upload some photos on my LIVE reviews as always and also the web-magazine called Traksy (Unfortunately this web is only written in Japanese..) with some movies too. Please check them when you have time.
GenevaからLausanneへ電車で移動。こんな素晴らしい景色が数時間続く。窓全開で満喫しました。
今回のツアーでも黒川君の素晴らしく緻密で独創性たっぷりな映像を楽しませてもらったし、半野さんの恐ろしく洗練された複雑でシンプルでFunkyなライヴで打ちのめされました。。自分の未熟さを痛感しています。でもこんな凄い二人とツアーに回れて本当に良い勉強になりました。リョウ君、半野さん、ありがとうございました。
This time I really enjoyed Ryoichi's fine and ingenious images and also I was knocked over by RADIQ's incredibly complicated but still simple and funky LIVE performance. Now i strongly feel that i need to improve my sound more and more.. However, I'm so glad and happy to be able to get the opportunity to work with those such a talented people this time. Thank you so much, Ryoichi and Mr.Hanno!
そんな半野さんの新しいアルバム『Angelus』が先日リリースされました。何をやらせても誰も追随できないクオリティーと独創性と音楽性を猛烈な勢いで発揮する天才が、またまた信じられないぐらい美しくて実験的でそれでいて素晴らしくポップな傑作をリリースしました。僕もリリース前から何度も聴かせてもらっていたんですが、もう何も言う事はないです、素晴らしいの一言。こんな人が自分の身近にいるって本当に物凄い事やなって思うんです。感謝。半野さんは『今は天才なんかおらん。だって会うた事ないもん』って仰るけど、そりゃそうです、だってあなたが天才やから。僕はそう思いますよ。僕も今の所半野さん以外会ったことないし。

以前このblogでも紹介した僕の友人でフランス人アーティストのMehdiとその友人達が、GLASS BOXっていうパリのギャラリーで新しい作品のインスタレーションをするというので先日観に行ってきました。面白い。ヘルメットをかぶって大声で叫ぶと、画面上のバイクレーサーが動き出してもう一人の参加者と対戦するっていうゲーム感覚の作品。その名も『motor KARAOKE』。『うるさい者が速い（the louder, the faster)』っていう作品の説明文も面白かった。僕もトライしてみたけどMehdiに負けてしまいました。。
One of my friend Mehdi (I introduced him on this blog before)and his friends told me that they had an opening party of their exhibition at the gellery called GLASS BOX and i went there to see their works. . The title of their work is "motor KARAOKE" and it was really fun. You put a helmet on your head and shout as loud as you can, then you'll see the bike racer on the screen starts moving and compete with the other participant. "the louder, the faster" is the basic concept. I tried it once but i was beaten by Medhi..

今日は以前に新曲のヴォーカル録音でもお世話になったstudio NU-VUで、今年６月ぐらいにoneowner recordsとPROGRESSIVE FOrMのダブルネームでリリースが予定されている12inch用のマスタリングをしてきました。今回もエンジニアのイサヤマさんが素晴らしい仕事をしてくださいました。イサヤマさん、ありがとうございました。
Today I went to studio NU-VU again for the mastering work for my next 12ich which will be released on oneowner records and PROGRESSIVE FOrM in around June 2005. Mr.Isayama who's working as an engineer at this studio did really great job for this again. Thank you Mr.Isayama!
今回の12inchは、デジタルプレスというCDのマスター音源をそのままレコードにプレスするという方法で作られると事前にレーベル側から教えていただいていました。僕達は今までその方法で12inchを作った事が無かったので、以前oneowner recordsからリリースされた12inchとそのマスターCD-Rをスタジオに持ち込んで、まずアナライザを使用しながらどういう特性が12inchに反映されるのかを確認する作業から始めました。その結果を踏まえてマスターを作る作業をしたんです。
最終的にはMAC(ProTools) → 192I/O Digital → DM2000(MY8AE96でデジタル接続) → 企業秘密 （だそうです）→ Motu 828(オプティカルインでデジタル接続) →WIN(Nuendo) という流れでマスターを作ったんです。かなり満足のいく結果になったので、12inchが出来上がるのが凄く楽しみ。凄く良い勉強になりました。英訳めんどくさいので今日はカット。。

スタジオでのマスタリング作業が終わった後、久しぶりにeaterとドラマーの渡邊充さんと３人で会う事ができました。もうご存知な方もおられると思いますが、この３人で数年前から『trio tech.』っていうバンドを結成して、少しずつですが実験を重ねながら活動を続けています。最近はそれぞれ個人の仕事が忙しくて、なかなか３人で会って話し合ったり作業したり練習したりする時間が持てない状況が続いているんですが、今はそれぞれの活動から沢山の事を学んでいる状況だと思ってるんです。いつか僕達３人が個人の活動を通して学んだ事を、この『trio tech.』というバンドに思いっきりぶつけて発表できれば良いなって思ってます。これからが楽しみ。やっぱり人間って『会う』って事が大切やなーって今日痛感しました。二人とも元気そうで良かったです。話もすげー盛り上がって、物凄く良い刺激になりました。カツキ君、渡邊さん、ありがとうございました！

After the studio work, I had a chance to see with eater and Mr.Mitsuru Watanabe. eater has been releasing his works on Daisy World Discs and CURRENT. Mr.Watanabe is one of the best drummer I've ever seen. Maybe some people already knew but we've been working as a band called "trio tech." little by little since a few years ago. Recently we each other have quite busy days for our solo projects, so we didn't really have much time to work together as a band, but we think that now we're learning a lot of things from our solo activities and I'm sure that someday soon we'll be able to give a lot of feedback to this "trio tech" project from what we've been doing so far. I'm really looking forward to it. It was really nice to see them again today. Thank you eater and Mr.Watanabe!

２５、２６日のライヴにお越しいただいた皆さん、ありがとうございました。僕的には２５日のイベントはかなり不満足な結果になってしまって、お越しいただいたお客さんには大変申し訳なかったです。でも２６日のイベントは会場のサウンドシステムも凄く良くて、なかなか良い感じのライヴができたんじゃないかと思ってます。もし宜しければご感想などいただければ嬉しいです。今回２６日は会場の設備の関係でちょっと自分の声がモニターしにくかったので、歌ってる時に音をはずしてしまったりしたんですが、全体的にはなかなか良い構成でライヴができたと思っています。後で友人が撮ってくれたビデオを観たら、僕一人でノリノリでしたね。。ちょっと笑けました。今回のライヴのレヴューも、前回と同じようにtraksyに近々ムービーと一緒にアップされる予定です。ノリノリの僕を見て笑ってやってください。またいつも通り自分のLIVE reviewsにもアップさせていただきました。そちらも是非チェックしてみてください。

First of all, I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to my LIVE on 25th and 26th. I was quite far from satisfied with the situation and my performance on 25th (we had quite many technical problems), so I feel sorry for people who came to see my show on that day. But I think another show on 26th in Kyoto was really great event. They had great sound systems and also the atmosphere of the venue was really nice. I really love that place. I'd really like to play there again if i have a chance next time. I uploaded some photos from those two shows on my LIVE reviews, so please check them when you have time. I also upload some photos, text(unfortunately it is only written in Japanese) and short movie on the web called traksy too. Unfortunately They are mainly written in Japanese, so maybe you feel a bit uncomfortable when you see this web, but please check it when you have time.

２６日の京都のライヴの前に、僕の親友であり、学生時代からの良き理解者であり、F1の先生であり、大好きなDJでもあり（彼のDJは本当に素晴らしい！フミヤさんも認めるぐらい！）、尊敬するライターでもあるKohei Terazono君と久しぶりに会う事ができました。２６日のSound Checkの後に会場の1階にあるカフェで２時間ほど話しまくりました（話題は主にF1）。すげー楽しかった。僕は彼の書く音楽レヴューや文章が大好きなんです。ちゃんとした信頼できる情報に乗っ取って、凄くフェアなレヴューを書くんですよ。洞察力も凄いんです。凄い文才だと思います。彼はtraksyにも掲載されている僕の最新のプロファイルを書いてくれたし、半野喜弘さんと田中フミヤさんが二人で始められるop.discsというレーベル用にも文章を書いています。機会があれば是非チェックしてみてください。今回彼が僕がずっと欲しかった下の本をプレゼントしてくれました！ありがとうゾノ！上の『Ferrari』っていう本はずっと探してたけど結局手に入らなくて、今回僕がパリに戻るまで彼が貸してくれました。物凄く読みたかった本だったので、パリに戻るまでに隅から隅まで読もうと思ってます。楽しみ。。。 もし彼のDJやレヴューを見る機会があれば是非チェックしてみてください。

先日ヨーロッパツアーの為にパリに来られていたトウヤマ・タケオさんと久しぶりにお会いできました。トウヤマさんはkaraoke kalkからアルバムを出されていて、今ちょうど同レーベルのヨーロッパツアーに参加されています。お元気そうで良かった。トウヤマさんの音楽って凄くすんなり心地よく耳に入ってくるのに、良く聴いてみると実は物凄く複雑な構造でいつも驚かされます。特に大人数バンドでのライヴは圧巻で、去年２月の京都で観させていただいたライヴには本当に驚かされました。トウヤマさんのような優れた音楽家の方々にお会いすると、いつも自分はミュージシャンだって堂々と言えない気持ちになってしまうんですよね。。もっと勉強しないと。もしトウヤマさんのライヴを観れる機会がある方は是非チェックしてみてください。CDも凄く良い！
I'd like to introduce you another Japanese great musican takeo toyama. He released his work on karaoke kalk and also on other Japanese labels. He came to Paris to perform for his Europe tour this time and i had a chance to see him. He's a great pianist and His music is really easy to listen but if you listen to his works very carefully, I'm sure you'll know how complicated they are. I really love his works. Especially I really like when he plays together with large band. I saw it last February in Kyoto in Japan and i really really appreciated. Now He's just started his tour in Europe. Please check his LIVE when you have a chance. His CDs are also really great.

昨日の夜にパリに帰ってきました。今回も沢山の人に会えたし、沢山の人が僕達のライヴを観に来てくれたし、沢山の人に僕達の音楽を気に入ってもらえたし、また沢山の事を新たに学びました。今回のmute meツアーで自分のやっている事は間違いではないっていう確信を持てたし、自分の作品とライブに対する更なる自信に繋がってこれから先が本当に楽しみになってきました。以前blogをアップしてからネットにアクセスする機会があまり無かったので、あの日から昨日までの日記をアップさせていただきます。楽しんでいただければ嬉しいです。LIVE reviewも数日中にアップさせていただきますね。
I came back to Paris last night. This time, I met so many people, so many people came to see our LIVE performance, so many people told me that they liked my music, and I leard so many things from this mute me tour. Now I have quite strong confindence in my music and things what I'm doing now. I'm sure that now I'm on the right track. I'm really looking forward to what will happen in the future. サウンドチェックしてる最中です。開場と同時に２００人以上のお客さんが来てくれて、みんなめちゃくちゃ盛り上がってノリノリで踊ってくれました。去年プラハでやった僕のライヴを観て来てくれた人もいたし、ウェブ雑誌や雑誌の記事で僕を知って来てくれた人もいたし、その日初めて観に来てくれた人もいました。来てくれた全てのお客さんに感謝。大成功でした。

翌日の昼ぐらいに僕はmute meのアーティストMichal MarianekとAlesとで次のライヴ会場のあるTrebicという街へ車で行きました。やっぱり車での移動って楽しい。国際免許取ってくれば良かったなー。運転したかった。
半野さんは一日プラハでオフで、その後スロヴァキアのブラティスラヴァへ。
The next day, we move to another city called Trebic with Ales and Michal Marianek by car. I like to travel with cars. I should have taken international drivers license this time.. I wanted to drive somewhere I've never been.
Yoshihiro Hanno stayed in Prague one more day and after that he went to Bratislava.
途中ハイウェイのサービスステーションで夕日の写真を撮りました。前にも書いたけど、この時期チェコでは４時半にはもう真っ暗になるんです。この日も凄く寒かった。

最近大気汚染と地球温暖化関係のニュースが世界的に大きく取り上げられるようになってきましたね。多分本当に危ない状況なんでしょうね。車大好きですけど、やっぱり排気ガスの問題は今すぐにでも解決されるべき問題だと思います。F1もそれに大きく加担していると思うと凄く複雑な気分です。早く化石燃料に変わる新しいエネルギーを開発して欲しい。ブッシュが再選してしまった以上アメリカでの開発はどんどん遅れるだろうし、そういう今だからこそ日本が先陣を切って新しいエネルギーの開発に力を入れるべきだと思います。この写真なぜか好きなんでアップしました。
I see so many news about air pollutiosn and global warming recently. I'm sure now we're in the really serious situation. I love cars but I know this is one the most serious problems today.. I have mixed feelings about F1 because they also have a part in this serious problem. I hope we'll find the new energy sourse as soon as possible. I don't know why but i liked this photo.
無事Trebicの会場に到着して、早速サウンドチェック。凄く小さい会場でしたけど、音は凄く良かった。田舎の小さい街やし多分良いサウンドシステムは望めないと思ってたけど、予想を遥かに裏切る音にビックリ。かなり気分も上がってなかなか良いライヴができたと思います。結構遠くからわざわざ観に来てくれた人もいたし、お客さんも皆踊ってくれて嬉しかった。この日来てくださった人たちにも感謝。
As soon as we arrived at Trebic, we went to the venue and did sound checking. It was a quite small venue but they had really great sound systems. I thought Trebic is a small city so i honestly wasn't expecting that much, but I was totally wrong. I think I did quite good live this time too. I was glad that some people came to see my show from quite far away from Trebic. Thank you for all the people who came to see my live.
ライヴの後にUNESCOの世界遺産に登録された夜の街を散策。もとユダヤ人ゲットーだった街が、今ではお金持ちや地元の人たちが住む凄く古くて奇麗な街に。道に車さえなければ、自分が数百年前の街に来た気分になったやろうなって思いました。日本にはない、また別の美しさがあるように思いました。
After the show, we walked around the Trebic city. This city was named to the UNESCO list of world heritage a few years ago. This old town used to be a Jewish ghetto and after that it became like this. If there's no car on the street, I might felt that i was in the city in a few hundred years ago.
翌朝プラハに戻る前にもう一度ホテルの周りをAlesが案内してくれました。

またプラハに戻ってから、今回mute meのコンピレーションアルバムのカヴァーデザインを担当した、チェコ人アーティストのTomas Vanekさんのアトリエにお邪魔してきました。彼はスプレーを使った作品を主に作っているんです。今回mute meコンピレーションのカヴァーは、彼が一つ一つケースにスプレーを使って絵を描いていてどれも一つとして同じもののないユニークなものに仕上がっています。mute meのサイトからネットでオーダーできます。興味のある方は是非チェックしてみてください。
We went back to Prague again and we visited the studio of Tomas Vanek who did the cover art for mute me compilation this time. He made each cover by himself and every covers are unique. You'll never find the same one. You can order this cover works on the mute me web site. Please check it.

僕が気に入った彼の作品の中の言葉。『エスカレータに乗ると、いつも手を置くベルトが階段よりも速く動くんです』。日本のエスカレータではこの状況は少ないかもしれないけど、海外では結構頻繁に出くわします（笑）

最終目的地のBratislavaへ車で移動。物凄い霧でした。多分視界20mも無いんじゃないかな。
We drove again to Bratislava from Prague. It was really foggy on the way. I think we only could see 20m ahead.
無事にBratislavaに到着して半野さんと合流。今回のツアー中も半野さんから色々と興味深い勉強になるお話を沢山聞けて楽しかった。半野さん、ありがとうございます。これからが本当に楽しみになってきました。もっと沢山の人たちに僕の作品を楽しんでもらえるようにもっと頑張ります！なんか自信が出てきました。
半野さんの最新作GRAFFITI & RUDE BOY 67'もフランスのLogistic recordsからの世界リリース決定しました！ やっぱりコレは傑作ですよ。１１日にパリのLe Triptyqueでリリースパーティーがあって、僕もそれに参加させていただく予定です。めっちゃ楽しみ。パリに住んでおられる方は是非お越し下さい。今僕達が出来得る最高のパフォーマンスをお見せします。
We arrived at Bratislava and met Yoshihiro Hanno. I think he's one of the greatest artist today and He knows soooo many things about music. This time during the tour, we talked about music, movies, our performances and I leard a lot of things from him. Thanks you Mr.Hanno. His latest work GRAFFITI & RUDE BOY 67' will be released on Logistic records soon! Please check it when you have a chance. That is a master piece. We're going to hava a release party for this album in Paris at Le Triptyque on 11th of December. Please come when you have time.
Bratislavaの空港でパリ行きの飛行機を待っている時に、凄く奇麗な夕焼けが観れました。さー、１２月１１日のパリ、１８日の東京、２４日の大阪、２５日の東京。今年のライヴも残す所あと４回。フルスロットルで頑張りますね。今年は１年経つのが速かったなー、、来年はもっと刺激的な年にしたい。

Yesterday, Mr.Yoshinori Hosoki who's an artist living in Paris took us to many art galleries in Paris. It was really cold in Paris and started raining from noon. その日は普段僕が美術館とかギャラリーに行く度に感じていた疑問などを細木さんにぶつけまくったんです。とても親切に一つ一つ答えていただけて、頭の中がすっとした感じがしました。その時に細木さんが仰ってた言葉が強く頭に残る『美術見てても、新しいものの中には良い作品もそうでないのもごっちゃ混ぜなのが現代で、一日ギャラリー回って一ついい作品との出会いがあればみっけもの、それでも見続ける』。
日本のアートって何か敷居が高い感じがするけど、ヨーロッパのアートって凄く身近で、人々の中に入り込んでいるような気がする。だから国も企業も新しい才能を発見するために常にアーティスト達をバックアップしてるし、その結果素晴らしい才能を持ったアーティスト達が世界的に認知されて活躍できる場がヨーロッパにはあるように思える。ちょっと羨ましい。昨日もギャラリーには老若男女問わず、あらゆる年齢の人たちが来てアートを楽しんでいました。音楽でも同じ事が言えると思う。日本のクラブって若い人たちしか観に来ないですよね。でもヨーロッパでライヴをする時って、いつもおっちゃんとかおばちゃんとか、時にはおじいちゃんおばあちゃんぐらいの世代の人たちも観に来てくれる。僕はそれがとても健全な事に感じるし、そうあるべきだと思うんです。
細木さんのblog を読んでいるとホントに色々と考えさせられます。お勧め。
今日はちょっと日本人以外の人たちには申し訳ないけど英訳をカット。

１６日に１２月のLIVE schedulesをアップさせていただきました。アップしたスケジュール以外に大阪、東京での２公演が追加される予定です。今しばらくお待ちください。
パリは最近毎日曇りか雨で、しかもめっちゃ寒いです。冬の東欧も寒そう。去年の今頃にも行ったんですけど、その時もかなり寒かった。１２月とかめちゃめちゃ寒いでしょうね。

It's quite cold and cloudy in Paris these day. Maybe it's much colder in the Eastern Europe in next month.. Actually it was really cold when i visited there November 2003.
昨日は徳井君の勤務先でもあるCSL(Sony Computer Science Laboratories)に澤井君とJo君と３人でお邪魔しました。以前徳井君に誘ってもらってBlock Jamに音楽を付けた時に東京のCSLには行った事があったんですが、パリのCSLは初めてだったんです。
そこで以前からお名前は何度もお聞きしていたAtau Tanakaさんに初めてお会いしました。Atauさん、徳井君、ありがとうございました、とても良い刺激になりました。
I visited CSL(Sony Computer Science Laboratories) with Taeji Sawai and Jo yesterday. This is the place where Nao Tokui works for in Paris. I've visited CSL Tokyo before when Nao and me made music for Block Jam before, but this was the first time to visit CSL in Paris.
I met Mr.Atau Tanaka at there for the first time. I've heard his name many times but i haven't had a chance to see him since long time. Thank you so much Mr.Tanaka and Nao Tokui. We had really great time there.

今回Atauさんがご自身のパフォーマンスで使用されているデバイスを見せていただきました。それは筋肉が動く時に出る微細なパルス信号をコンピュータに伝えて音をコントロールするというもので、今まで話に聞いた事はあったけど、実際に目にするのは初めてでした。コンピュータを操るためのインターフェイスはどんどん進化しているし、まだまだ沢山の可能性を秘めていますね。。これからが楽しみ。
Mr.Atau Tanaka kindly showed us how he performs for his own project and he showed us special devices to catch the signal which comes from our muscle when we move our body. He put that device on his arm and controls his computer for his music. Actually I've heard about it before but I've never seen it. The interfaces to contol computers evolve at a pace never seen before, and they still have a lot of possibilities.
そのあと澤井君とJo君が今ボアダムズのEYEさんと一緒に進めている加速度センサ−を使ったパフォーマンスをAtauさんに見せていました。その場にもう一人フランス人の音楽関係のキュレータの方がおられて、彼らの自作デバイス、プログラム、またそれらが出した結果（パフォーマンス）を観て大興奮してました。僕も横から見てて、なぜか自分の事のようにすげー誇らしかった。『どや？僕の友達やで』って感じ。やっぱりこの二人は凄い。大注目して間違いないですよ。
Atauさん、徳井君、今回は素晴らしい機会をありがとうございました。
Then after that, Taeji Sawai and Jo showed him how they perform with EYE(BOREDOMS). They uses sensors(Jo made them by himself) to catch the accelerated velocity and Taeji programmed some softwares to process sounds for their perfomance. There was a French music curator at there and he was really excited too when he saw it. I think Taeji and Jo are doing really interesting and exciting project and they did really really great job for it. I'm really interested in what they're doing right now and also what they'll do in the future.

僕が現代でもっとも尊敬するアーティストの一人で、Sound&Recording誌でも連載をしているportable[k]ommunityの澤井妙治君と、これまた最近本当に素晴らしい活動を続けていて、僕もずっと大注目しているSWOのメンバーであるjo君の二人がパリに遊びに来てくれました。彼らは先日ロッテルダムで開かれたメディアアートのフェスティバルdeafに参加して、その帰りにパリに寄ってくれたんです。今回澤井君はボアダムズのEYEさんとのユニットでのライヴを披露して、jo君は今ベルリンに住む同じくSWOのイシダ・ダイスケ君とでSWOとしてフェスティバルに参加したそうです。徳井君も一緒にロッテルダムに行って彼らのライブを観て来たそうで、、羨ましい。僕も行きたかった。
澤井君は少し前からベルリンに移住したので、これからは頻繁に会えるかな。jo君も越して来たら良いのに。久しぶりにこの面子で集まる事ができて本当に楽しかった。この面子が集まるといつもPowerBookが満開です。この日も当たり前のように満開でした。
Taeji Sawai from portable[k]ommunity and jo from SWO came to Paris yesterday. They are one of the most respectable artsits for me today. If you've never experienced their performance and works before, I would really recommend that you should go and check them when you have a chance. They visited Paris after they did their performances at deaf festival in Rotterdam a few days ago. This time, Taeji played with EYE from BOREDOMS and Jo played with Daisuke Ishida(he's also a member of SWO) as SWO. Nao Tokui also went there to see their LIVE from Paris this time. I really wanted to go there with them but i couldn't make it this time... next time I will.
Actually Taeji moved to Berlin a few month ago, so I hope to see him often from now. I'm so glad that we could see each other today and talked a lot. Once we meet together,our powerbooks bloom everytime :-) and of course this time it happened too.
澤井君のPowerBookを良く見ると、液晶が取れそうなんです（笑）ケーブル数本でなんとかマシンと液晶が繋がってる。。さすが澤井君。この時点でもう参った。。
If you look at Taeji's powerbook very varefully, you can see that the screen is now almost coming off from the body... and he's still using it as a main machine.. Great Taeji, you always knock me out.
その時に澤井君が最近ACOとのライヴ用に『めちゃめちゃ頑張って作ったで、アオキ君、でも皆あんまり反応してくれへんねん』って言って、SuperColliderとMax/mspとLogic Audioを組み合わせて動くという凄まじいシステムを見せてくれました。スゲー、、澤井君の発想にはいつも本当に驚かされるし、とても良い刺激になる。彼ほど自由にテクノロジーを使って（しかも使いこなして）、彼ほど自由に表現しているアーティストはそういない。僕達アーティスト（僕も自分をそう呼ぶ事が許されるなら）は、常に彼のような自由な発想で作品を作らないとアカンなって、彼に会う度に考えさせられます。タエちゃん、ジョウ君、いつも素晴らしい刺激をありがとう！僕達みたいなアーティストは辛い事も多いけど（笑）負けずに頑張ろうぜ。
Taeji showed me his new systems for his new project with a Japanese singer ACO. He uses this system when they do LIVE recently. He made his programs to make this system with SuperCollider, Max/msp and Logic Pro at the same time, and he linked them all together. It was a really GREAT system... He always holds my breath and makes me excited. I've never seen such a great artist who uses technology in the great and original way and express himself freely by using those technology. Whenever i meet him and Jo, I alway think that we have to learn a lot of things from them. They are really great artists.
完璧に逆に折れ曲がったPowerBookを使って、さっきのシステムを動かす澤井君。物凄い光景。ここまで使ってくれるとスティーブ・ジョブズも嬉しいやろうな。
明日は徳井君が働いているパリのSONYの研究所に皆でお邪魔してきます。めっちゃ楽しみ。いつも僕に素晴らしい刺激を与えてくれる皆に感謝しないと。みんな、ありがとう。
でもホント彼らのように世界的にも評価されているアーティスト達があまり日本のメディアには取り上げられない現状が全く理解できない。これから日本はどうなってしまうのかな。斬新なアイデアとアプローチを持ったアーティスト程不本意な現状に苦しんでいるような気がするんです。でもそれを打破するためには、僕達がもっと世界的な結果を出して行く必要があるのかなって思ってます。まだまだ足りない、もっと頑張ろう。

昨日は昼から久しぶりにツジコノリコと二人で曲作り。僕が基本的な部分をある程度作った曲に二人でメロディーを付けました。なかなかユルくて良い感じの曲ができそう。もう１曲もかなりポップで洗練された曲になりそう。ココで僕が言う『ポップ』とは、『商品としての音楽』という意味ではなくて、ちゃんと作品として機能するし、今まで僕達のような音楽を聴いた事のない人にも楽しんでいただけるよな音楽という意味です。言うは易し、実際作業をするとなかなかそう上手くはいかないですね。難しい。
アルバムの進行はお互い忙しくてなかなか会えなかった事もあってちょっと遅れてます。早く皆さんに聴いていただきたい。
Yesterday, tujiko noriko came to my place to work with me on our new album. This time I made a basic part of the song and we made main melody for it. This song is quite slow and I think it'll be quite a good song. Now we're trying make something Pop(But it's not like normal pop music as commercial products), but also peole who listen to our kind of music can enjoy at the same time. It is easy to say but really difficult to accomplish.

レコーディングの後に、パリ在住でファションデザイナーのnorio nakanishiさんのお宅にお邪魔しました。その日は『あんこう鍋』を初めてご馳走になったんですけど、マジで美味かった。最後のおじやもヤバかった。中西さん、ありがとうございました！ 日本でも食べた事無かったので、感動しました。中西さんが作られている作品は、来年の春夏コレクションが発表される頃にフランスのセレクトショップL'ECLAIREURでご覧いただけるそうです。僕も見に行こう。
その日はHome Roomの細木さん、Y, Aさん、それとAさんの友人のアメリカ人のPさんも来てました。
After the recording, Mr.Norio Nakanishi invited me for dinner. He is a fashion designer who lives in Paris and he runs his own brand "norio nakanishi". You can check his works at French select shop L'ECLAIREUR in next spring and summer season 2005. Mr.Nakanishi, Thank you very much for excellent dinner.
This time Mr.Hosoki from Home Room, Y, A and A's friend P were there too. P is from America.
Pさんは今年の１２月からイラクに衛生兵として派兵されるアメリカ兵で、派兵前の休暇でヨーロッパを旅行しているそうです。イラクに行くという事で彼から色々と話を聞いて、、最初は何とか説得してイラクに行くのを止めようかと思ったんです。でも彼の話を聞いていると僕なんかの英語力ではどうも彼を止める事は無理そうでした。。彼が目を輝かせてアメリカ軍の戦車が他と比べてどれだけ優れていて、どれだけ強力な火器を装備していて、中にいるとどれだけ安全かという事を話してくれたんですが、僕には何も言えなかった。。彼が話の途中でこう言いました『僕達の戦車は敵が僕達を見つける前に敵を攻撃できるんだ！凄くない？敵が僕達に気付く頃にはもうおしまいだ』。彼自身は本当に気さくでとても素晴らしい青年でした。きっと他のアメリカ人もみんな彼と同じような感じで良い人が多いんやろうな。アメリカの教育方法ではどうしても『敵』が必要になってしまうのかな。Pさん、とにかくイラクでは気を付けて。
P is an American soldier who is going to Iraq in this December as a medic. Now he's traveling in Europe before he works for an Army. He told me many things about Army things. and I was thinking to stop him to go to Iraq, but i didn't think that my English was good enough to persuade him not to go there. I couldn't say anything when he talked me in delight about how great the American Army's tanks are. He told me that they have much superior arms than anyother armys in the world and they are really really safe while they are in the tank, because they can attack and destroy the other tanks before enemy notice.
P himself is a really really nice young guy. But i thought that most of the American people might be just like him. Maybe they need "enemy" all the time once they grow up in USA. Please be careful When you are in Iraq P.
で、今日は昨日と同じくまたまた快晴やったので、先週に引き続き封鎖された車道でローラーブレード。今日も寒かったし曲の作業もあまりはかどらなくてモヤモヤしてたど、無心になってかなりスピードを出して滑ったら頭がスッとした。

今日は一週間程時間を戻して、日本を出発する前日の事を書かせていただきます。今回の日本のツアーでは何度かアコースティックギターを弾いたんですけど、毎回ギターはKan Daisuke君から貸してもらってます。普段パリにいる時に実家に置いてあって使ってない機材などは、カン君やogurusu norihide君や、他の友人達に預かってもらってるんです。今回もパリに戻る前に、日本滞在中に僕が使っていた機材を二人に預けに行って来ました。久しぶりに３人で会う事ができて楽しかった。オグルス君が完成したばかりのアルバムをくれたので聴かせてもらいました。そこにはオグルス君らしさがバッチリ表現されてたし、演奏者、作曲者であるオグルス君自身がとても楽しんでいるっていう感じが物凄く伝わって来て、聴いてる僕自身も楽しくなってきました。早くリリースされるとええなー。ダイちゃん、オグルス君、いつもありがとう。
I write about almost a week ago in Japan this time. I used an acoustic guitar a few times for the tour in Japan. and I always borrow it from my friend Kan Daisuke. I always ask him and ogurusu norihide to keep and use some of my equipments and instruments while I'm away from Japan. and This time, I went their places again to ask them to keep them again before i leave Japan. Thank you Daisuke and ogurusu. ogurusu norihide gave me his new album which he had just finished and is not released yet. I really enjoyed his works. I could feel something like he was enjoying very much when he was making this album. I hope he can release it soon.
Kan Daisuke君とogurusu norihide君が参加しているコンピレーションアルバム『ドレミでうたう』が１０月１６日に発売されたそうです。今回僕はちょっと忙しくて購入できなかったんですけど、次回１２月に帰国した時に買おうと思ってます。楽しみです。
カン君の曲は一つ一つのコードやハーモニーに彼独特のこだわりを感じる事ができたし、全体的にとてもシンプルにまとめられてるんですが、聴いた後に凄く充実感があるんです。オグルス君の曲も他に無いぐらいハッピーな感じで、彼自身がとても楽しんでいるのを感じる事ができるんです。是非チェックしてみてください。

先日８日のAppleストア心斎橋でライヴをさせていただいた時に、維新派の音楽を担当されている内橋和久さんとPAエンジニアのZAKさんにお越しいただいて、その時に”維新派の公演を観に来ないか”とお誘いをいただきました。それで今日久しぶりに、ほんと'99年の熊野で行われた公演ぶりに維新派の作品を観に行かせていただきました。内橋さん、ZAKさん、ありがとうございました。会場が海辺なのでめちゃくちゃ寒かったですけど、２時間半の公演時間もあっという間に過ぎてしまいました。音楽も舞台同様に独特な雰囲気があって、学ぶべき部分がとても多かったです。楽しかったなー。
I went to see the performance of ISHINHA today. They've been performing since 1992 and I've seen it in 1998 and 1999. My friend Mr.Kazuhisa Uchihashi is making music for them, and he asked me to come and see their performance last week, and i went to see them today. It was really cold becuase the venue is really close from the sea and Unfortunately it was a bit windy today. But i really enjoyed their performance this time too. It was about 2 hours 30 minutes, but i felt it was much shorter.
Mr.Uchihashi's music for ISHINHA was really unique and I learned a lot of things from it. Thank you Mr.Uchihashi.

sonarsound tokyo(SST)でのライヴの後、沢山の方々からご好評のメイルやblogへのコメントをいただきました。ありがとうございました。ライヴ自体は凄く短い時間でしたが、僕としては今自分ができる最大限のパフォーマンスをさせていただいたつもりです。SSTのレヴューは１６日以降にこのblogと自分のサイトのLIVE reviewにアップさせていただく予定です。是非チェックしてみてください。
After the LIVE at sonarsound tokyo(SST), many people gave me some e-mails and comments on this blog and told me that they liked my LIVE at there. Thank you so much. 今日は数年前から進めていた"trio tech"というバンドのレコーディングに行ってきました。このバンドは、僕とドラマーの渡邊充さん、daisy workd discsやPROGRESSIVE FOrMから作品をリリースしているeaterの３人で構成されていて、『コンピュータと生ドラムを使って、今までにないライヴを実現する』というコンセプトを元に３人で少しずつ練習や実験を重ねてきました。今日はレーベルcurrentの代表で、ご自身もミュージシャンでおられる間所さんのスタジオ（福田スタジオ）で初めてのレコーディングをしてきました。間所さんの的確なご指示と確かな録音技術のおかげで、とても素晴らしいドラム録音が実現しました。間所さん、ありがとうございました。このスタジオは半野さん曲の録音でも使われているスタジオで、間所さんの素晴らしい作業のおかげでいつもとても良い音に仕上げていただけるんです。
Today we did recording for our new band called "trio tech" which we've been working on it since a few years ago. This band consists of me, Mitsuru Watanabe(drums) and eater who has been releasing his works on daisy workd discs and PROGRESSIVE FOrM. Our basic concept is to make the new type of a band with the real drums and computers. Today, we asked Mr.Madokoro who runs a label called current to help our recordings as an engineer. He's also an artist and he's been releasing his own works on current too. We could get really great drum sound at the hands of Mr.Madokoro. Thank you so much.

<録音した音に聴き入る渡邊さんとeater、僕は呑気に写真撮ってます>
以前銀座と心斎橋のAppleストアでも少し紹介させていただいたんですが、このバンドではドラムの各所にセンサーやピックアップマイクを設置して、ドラムの音にコンピュータを反応させたり、コンピュータの音に人間が反応したりして曲全体を構成していきます。今まであまりフィジカルでは無かったラップトップを使ったライブに、もっと肉体性を加えていって、今までにないライヴを実現できればと思って練習してきました。こういった事が可能なのも渡邊さんの演奏技術＆センスがずば抜けて素晴らしいから可能なのであって、なかなか他の人には実現は難しいだろうなと思います。この日も僕が作った複雑な曲に、クリック（ガイド）無しで完璧な演奏をしていただけました。素晴らしかった。このバンドでは今年の６月２日に一度大阪で初めてのライヴをさせていただきました。自分のサイトのLIVE reviewペイジから、短いライヴムービーがご覧いただけます。是非チェックしてみてください。
When we do LIVE with this band, we put some sensors and small microphones on each drums, then computers react to the drum sounds. Sometimes the drummer follows to the sounds from computers too. We've been wanted to add something we've never seen when we do LIVE, becaseu we thought that the LIVE with only laptops could be quite boring sometimes. Then we added something more physical. I have to say thank you to Mr.Mitsuru Watanabe because I think he's the only one who can do something like this. I think he's one of the best drummer I've ever seen before. Today he played really great drum set, and I'm sure that we can do astounding LIVE performance when we have a chance. We once have done LIVE on this June 2nd in Osaka and you can check some short movies on my site at LIVE review page. Please check it.
最後に間所さんのフィードバックギターもサンプルとして録音させていただきました。かっこ良かったなー。今日はドラムとフィードバックの音を合わせて、トータルで物凄い容量のオーディオファイルを手に入れました！これは楽しみです。今まで意識的に生ドラムの音は使わないでいたんですが、このバンドでは思いっきり渡邊さんのドラムを炸裂させたいと思ってます。またどこかでライヴさせていただける機会があれば良いんですけど。どなたかブッキングしてください（笑）ご連絡お待ちしてます。
At the end, we asked Mr.Madokoro to play his noiz and feedback guitar sound. It was really great sound. Today we got huge amount of sound files of drums and guitars. I'm really looking forward to working with them. Actually I consciously haven't been using the real drums sounds for my own works, but for this band, I'd like to use them a lot. Now we're looking for some opportunities to play as this band "trio tech". Please feel free to contact us, if you're interested.

やっと風邪が治りました。今回は長かった、、皆さんも体調には気を付けてくださいね。最近ちょっと滅茶苦茶な生活してたので。。それが祟ったみたいです。
今日は１０月１６日に山口情報芸術センター（以下YCAM)で行われるライブに向けて、黒川良一君とウチで一緒に仕込み作業をしました。以前にもこのblogで書きましたが、YCAMの音響＆映像設備は半端じゃないんです。（下に写真をアップしておきましたのでチェックしてみてください） せっかくそういう会場でライブをさせていただく機会をいただいたので、これはいっちょブチかましてやろうという事で、二人で意見交換をしながら作業を進める事にしました。結構いい感じに音が仕上がりつつあった時に、ちょうど日本に帰国中のツジコノリコが『ヒマやから』という理由でウチに遊びに来てくれました。で、せっかくなので彼女にも僕が作ったメロディを歌ってもらって、バッチリ素材として参加してもらいました。自分としてもかなり気に入った音ができたし、最近の黒川君の作品もかなりキレてるので当日がとても楽しみです。皆さん是非お越し下さい！

Today ryoichi kurokawa came to my place to work together with me for a LIVE at Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media (YCAM) on 16th of October. As i wrote on this blog before, they have really really great sound systems and visual systems. They're incredible.(I'll put some photos from YCAM, please check them) We decided to make something special together because we luckily had such a special opportuniy this time. When we almost finished our work, tujiko noriko came to my place too. Then I asked her to sing a song which i made it for that work then and she joined it as a voice sample this time. I really liked this work and these days Ryoichi is making really great works, so now I'm really looking forward to play with him at YCAM. Please come to see our LIVE if you have a chance!

あー、今年は鈴鹿に行けないのが残念です。去年も一昨年も『鈴鹿に行くから』という理由sonar japanを断ってたんですけど、、今年は無理でした、、。佐藤琢磨、僕は見てないけど、頑張ってくれ。。。
I can't go to Suzuka to see F1 this year. I've been saying "no" when they asked me to join sonar festival in Japan last few years.. but I couldn't say "no" this time.. Go! Takuma Sato!

２７日の夕方から細野さんのスタジオにお邪魔して、daisy holidayっていう細野さんがDJを務められているラジオに出演させていただきました。以前にパリでお会いしてからぶりでしたので、色々とお話できて良かった。ラジオ放送の詳細はinter FM(76.1MH)、もしくはhttp://www.stardigio.com/でチェックしていただけるそうです。東京では今週の日曜日の夜１時（半かも）からの放送だそうです。それ以外の地域ではSKY PerfecTV!のSTAR digio(499ch)で聴くことができるそうです。良かったら是非聴いてみてください。
自分としてはこのまま音楽を続けるかどうか少し悩んでいたんですが、細野さんに『続けてくださいね』って仰っていただけてもう少し頑張ってみようと心改めました。まだまだ音楽に関して知らない事も多いし、もっともっと勉強して色々経験して、自分の限界に挑戦したいと思いました。細野さん、今回はとても良い刺激をいただきました、ありがとうございました。
I visited Mr.Haruomi Hosono (who's one of a member of sketch show)'s private studio to take to the airwaves on his radio show on 27th of September. The radio show will be go out only around in Tokyo area on Sunday on inter FM(76.1MH) and you can check it's information on http://www.stardigio.com/ too. 少し前にこのblogで紹介させていただきましたRyoichi Kurokawa君が先日daisyworld discsからリリースしたばかりの彼の新作『READ』のDVDを今日購入してきました。参りました。。。彼は僕の大学時代からの友人で、別に友達だからと言ってヒイキしている訳じゃないんです、純粋に彼の作品のクオリティの高さに驚きました。全体的に無機質なんですがどことなくオーガニックで、映像の広がりと緻密さが素晴らしくてまるで画面の向こうに無限の空間が広がってるみたいな錯覚を覚えました。表現の手法も彼独特で、オリジナリティーに溢れていて、前作と比べて映像の緻密さも音のクオリティーも格段にレベルアップしているように感じました。ホント買ってよかった。
I introduced Ryoichi Kurokawa before on this blog and He has released his new works "READ" on daisyworld discs. I bought his DVD today and it was just great.. Every works on this DVD are anorganic substance but still organic somehow and also very sensitive. I felt like there's endless space in the TV while I was watching it. His technic is very unique and I felt that the quality of the images and sounds are much much improved.

今日は僕の昔からの友人のMINIFERことMehdiを紹介させていただきます。彼はパリの名門美術学校の教師でもあり、CURRENTからもアルバムをリリースしているミュージシャンでもあり、僕も何度も出演させてもらっているshoboshoboっていうイベントのオーガナイザーでもあるんです。で、その多才な彼が最近作っているのはアイコン。これがまたどれもこれも特殊でオリジナリティーに溢れていて、ちょっとブラックな感じでとにかく素晴らしい。下にご紹介したのはその中の極一部で、彼のHPでダウンロードできます。これはかなり良いですよ。お勧め。
僕のアイコンも作ってくれたんです（笑）嬉しい。彼のウェブで見れるドローイングなども、彼独特の雰囲気が漂ってて、、めっちゃ好きなんです。O'lammの次のアルバムのカヴァーデザインもメディが手掛けてるんです。
Mehdi aka MIMIFER is one of my friends and also an artist. Actually he's a teacher of Art school in Paris, and he releases his album on Japanese label CURRENT as a musician, and He also organizes a party called shoboshobo. Anyway, now this talented guy starts making great icons. Those icons are all unique and every characters has their own special atmosphere. I really really love them. I show you some of his icons below, and you can download them from his web. I recommend you to check them. I'm so glad that he designed my icon too :-) You also can check his drawings and those are also really great. Mehdi did a cover work for O'lamm's new album.

３日前まではかなり蒸し暑い毎日やったのに、昨日ぐらいから雨風が強くて寒いぐらい。昨日は物凄い勢いで雨が降った後に、奇麗な日没が見れました。雷も相変わらず良い音してました。今日は昼でも寒いぐらい。
CMの作業がなかなかはかどらない、、難しいです。でもツジコノリコとのアルバムはなかなか良い感じに仕上がりそう。早く沢山の人に聴いていただきたい。２２日のスイスでのライブの準備もしないと。そろそろ９月と１０月にかけて行う日本のツアーの日程も決まりそうです。近々スケジュールを更新させていただきます。
It had been hot and humid until a few days ago, but the weather chaged sice yesterday. We had quite strong rain and wind last night, and after that we saw a beautiful sunset. The thunder sounded strong as always.
Now I feel a bit difficult to make sound for TV commercial, but I have to finish it soon. On the other hand, Works with Tujiko Noriko are going smoothly. I think we can finish it as a quite good album. I'd like to listen to as many people as possible. I need to prepare for LIVE in Switzerland on 22nd too.. And my LIVE schedules in September to October in Japan are almost fixed. I'll update them soon.
昨日の夜は僕の友人の久保田敏弘君がウチに来てくれました。彼は何年か前に自分の作品を持って、いきなりあのJean Nouvelの建築事務所に殴り込み、そのまま入社を果たすというカッコイイ経歴とかなりの根性の持ち主。今はロンドンのショッピングセンターとコペンハーゲンのコンサートホールのプロジェクトを指揮してるそうです。しかも同い年。すげー、そして誇らしい。頑張れ日本人。
Last night, one of my friends Toshihiro Kubota came to my place. He's now working at Jean Nouvel's architect studio. He has a great career that some years ago, he brought his works and visited Jean Nouvel's architect studio and joined a company right after that. Now he's working on the projects of a shopping center in London and a concert hall in Copenhagen as one of the main designers. Great! and I feel honored as the same Japanese.

２年前にローマで開催されているdissonanzeっていうフェスティバルに参加した時に、彼らと同じ会場でライブをさせてもらいました。Fm3は北京に住むChristiaan Virant & Zhangjianの二人によるユニットで、とても美しく落ち着いた音楽を作っているんです。その時からずっと連絡を取り合っていて、今日２年ぶりに再会しました。彼らは今まであまり作品をリリースしていなくてライブを中心に活動しています。今回彼らはヨーロッパツアーのまっただ中で、その途中パリに来ていたので連絡をくれました。今年の６月にも一度パリのルーブル美術館で、中国の古い無声映画に彼らがライブで音を付けるといったパフォーマンスをしたそうです。残念ながらその時僕は大阪にいて観れなかったけど。
今回bip_hopというレーベルからリリースされたコンピレーションをもらいました。今聴きながらこの記事を書いてます。どこかオリエンタルな感じで、欧米のアーティストには無いアジア人独特のセンスを感じます。このコンピレーションにはfonicaのお二人も参加してますね。ちなみに写真左側のChristiaanは中国に２０年ぐらい住んでいて、中国語も流暢に話すし漢字もバリバリ書けるんです。すげー。
I met them two years ago in Rome when i did LIVE for dissonanze festival. Fm3 consisted of Christiaan Virant and Zhangjian from Beijing, and they've been producing beautiful and vary relaxing ambient music. We've been contacting each other since two year ago and we met each other for the first time in two years. Mainly They've been doing LIVE performance in China and haven't released their works so much so far. Now they're in the middle of Europe tour and visited Paris for a few days. In this June they did an interesting performance in Louvre museum that is they played live their music with Chinese old film. Unfortunately I wasn't in Paris at that time.
Recently they released their works from bip_hop label and they put two songs in the compilation album on this label. I'm listening right now. They're beautiful as always and a bit oriental. I think only Asian people can produce this kind of works. By the way, Christiaan has been living in Beijing for twenty years now and he speaks Chinese like Chinese people and he can also write Chinese letters very good! Please check their works when you have a chance.

ほんとラッキーな事に僕の周りには優れたアーティストが多いんです。僕の友人の高久雪枝ちゃんは、パリを拠点にオートクチュールの世界で作品を発表しているAdeline Andreのアトリエで、彼女の仕事を手伝いながら自分自身の作品も少しずつ作ってるんです。一昨日はそこのアトリエに少しお邪魔してみました。僕は今までこういう場には行った事がなかったので、なんかとても刺激的でした。そこにあった作品のどれもが、素材、カッティング、仕上げが素晴らしく、プロの職人の雰囲気がプンプンしてました。
I think I'm so lucky because I know quite a many good artists as my friends around me. One of my friends Yukie Takaku is now working and helping Adeline Andre who is a fashion designer releasing her works in the world of Paris haute couture. and Yukie is also making her own works when she has time during her work. I visited there the day before yesterday and It was really exciting opportunitiy because I've never been before this kind of professional works space for fasion designers.
それで昨日雪枝ちゃんの個人的な作品を見せてもらいました。僕は批評家ではありませんし、いつも他人の作品を見てどうコメントして良いか全然分からないんですけど（語意力が無いんです、もっと養わないと）、とにかく良かった。一見して何か惹き付けられるものがありました。完成度が高いんです。彼女は服も作っているんです、でもその服も彼女にとってはあくまで一つの発表の手段であり、発表の方法やインスピレーションの源を限定しないその姿勢にも共感できました。今回彼女の２作品をココでご紹介させていただきます。近々サイトのimagesにもいくつかアップしようと思っていますので是非ご覧になってください。下の画像をクリックすると拡大できます。彼女は個人的なe-mailアドレスを持っていないので、彼女にコンタクトを取りたい方はお気軽に僕にご連絡ください。
Then Yukie showed me her own works yesterday. I'm not a critic so I cannot write convincing critique but i really liked them. I felt something attractive from her works. She's also making clothes. Making clothes are one of the ways of her expression and i fetl empathy for her source of inspiration. It is borderless, the inspiration comes from everywhere. ２年ぐらい前から少しずつ進んでたプロジェクトをやっと本格的に再開します。ツジコノリコと二人で作っている曲が結構あるんですが、それでなんとかアルバムを作りたいなって思って。今日はその作業もあって彼女のスタジオに行ってきました。彼女が作ったオーディオファイルや曲の原型を僕がもらって、それを僕が新たにアレンジしたり、音を足したり引いたりしながら二人で曲を作っています。９月完成を目標に何とか頑張ろうって二人で言ってるんですけどね。どっか良いレーベル無いかな。かなりポップなんですけど、でも普通じゃない感じ。ヨーロッパで二人でライブをする時には、よくこれらの曲を演奏してたんですけど、日本の皆さんにも早く聴いていただきたいです。
I've just started the project which has been working little by little sice two years ago. I've been working with tujiko noriko and we have some songs which are already finished. Now we're working together to finish our album. I visited her studio today to receive her sound files and some basic tracks. I'm going to add and cut some sounds to finish these songs. We're planning to finish this album in September. I hope we can find a good label to release it. Most of the songs are just like POP music but a bit unusual some part. We've been playing these songs together in Europe sometimes. We've never played together in Japan so far. I'd like to play in Japan someday.
彼女のスタジオからの帰り道で見つけたDUCATIのバイク。かっこいい。。この前コレが走ってるの見たんですけど、凄いバランス良さそうでした。やっぱりイタリアすげー。センス良いですねー。これが燃料電池車なら最高なんですけどねー。燃料電池車でガソリン車並のパワーが出せる日は来るんでしょうか。。そんなF1見てみたいなー。あ〜、でも音が小さそう。困った、それは困る。
I found a DUCATI bike on the way home from her studio. It is a nice bike. Great Italian design. I love it. I thought it's really wonderful if it is a fuel battery bike.. I wonder if it will be rearized someday that fuel battery car become faster than gasoline-driven car. I thought i'd like see "Fuel Battery Formula 1" someday, but.. I'm sure it will be really quiet race...hhmm.. I don't want it ;-)

昨日は友人のLAUR meyrieuxと会ってきました。彼女は主に日本とパリで活動しているフランス人アーティストで、３年ほど前に僕がパリでライブをした時に知り合いました。去年の東京デザイナーズブロックでは、青山のツモリチサトのショップに展示された彼女の作品に僕が音を付けたりしたんです。彼女の作品はいつもシンプルで、力強く、でもどこか女性的。機会があれば是非チェックしてみてくださいね。
今回久々に休暇が取れたみたいで、パリにちらっと寄ってその後イタリアに行くそうです。良いなー、イタリア。また行きたい。
I met LAUR meyrieux yesterday. She's one of my friend and She's an artist and mainly works in Japan and Paris. I've met her three year's ago when i did LIVE in Paris. We worked together for Tokyo Designers Block 2003 last year. She made some objects and I made sounds for them and they were displayed in the Tsumori Chisato's shop in Aoyama Tokyo. Her works are always simple, strong and feminine some part. I really like it. Please check her works when you have a chance.
She was in Paris for her vacation and she told me that she's going to Italy after this. I wanna go to Italy again..

今日もパリは雨です。 あー、今日届くはずの荷物がやっぱり届かない。金曜日に『月曜の朝に持って行くから、家にいろ』って電話あったのに。フランスの郵便はアテになりません。っていうかやっぱりフランス人の言う事は信用できない。

今日はいつもアルバムの録音や、機材のセッティングなどでお世話になっているイサヤマ・ゲンさんが働いておられるStudio NU-VUにお邪魔してきました。
イサヤマさんには今まで本当に色々とお世話になっていて、心から感謝しています、ありがとうございます。スタジオで機材に囲まれているイサヤマさんは、まるで水を得た魚のように生き生きとしておられました。これからも頑張ってください！そしてまたお世話になると思います。。

来る６月２日に大阪のBRIDGEっていう所でPROGRESSIVE FOrMとDaisy World Discsの共同企画であるaudio forma presents BERLIN ELECTRONIC MODERNというイベントに、僕、eater、ドラマーのワタナベミツルさんとの３人のバンドで参加させていただく事になりました。
このバンドは１年以上前からずっとコツコツ練習したり、色々と実験したりしていたバンドで、やっとちゃんとした発表の場をいただく事ができて嬉しいです。ワタナベさんのドラムはマジで凄い！人間じゃないです！多分ドラムマシンです。
で、今回特別にギタリストでレーベルcurrentの主催者でもあるマドコロさんにもギターで参加していただく事になりました。外人や有名人なんかに負けないです！皆さん是非お越し下さい！

Me, eater and Mitsuru Watababe(Drums) are going to play for an event called audio forma presents BERLIN ELECTRONIC MODERN on 2nd of June. This event is organized by PROGRESSIVE FOrM and Daisy World Discs.
We've been working on this band since more than a year ago and I'm so glad that finaly we have a chance to play together on the stage. Mr.Watanabe(Drums) is really really really great drummer. He's not a human!!! a drum machine!!
This time we made a special request to Mr.Madokoro who runs current label for playing guitar for this band.

数日前になるんですが、東京に仕事で行かせていただいた時に半野喜弘さんのお宅に泊めていただきました。半野さんには公私ともに色々とお世話になっていて本当に感謝してます。半野さんは現代で僕がもっとも尊敬するアーティストの一人です。半野さんの作品にはいつも音楽的な美しさはもとより、考え抜かれた展開、無駄のない構成、さらにそのまとまった全体像からは考えられないぐらいの驚きがたくさん詰まっていて、『あ〜、もう音楽やめようかな。。』っていつも思わされてしまいます。 今日本で良しとされている音楽の殆どが芸術性を無視した”商品”である中、半野さんの音楽はひたすら音楽的で芸術的なんです。半野さんと同じ時代に生きれてほんまにラッキーやなーって思います。
A few days ago when i went to Tokyo, I stayed at Mr.Yoshihiro Hanno's place. I owe him many obligations both officially and privately. He's one of the most respectable artist for me today.
I always feel that his music has a lot of musical beauty, well thought out structual development, highly sophisticated composition and so many surprise in his works. And I always feel that i should give up making music.. Today in Japan, most of the music is composed as "product" to sell, but even though his works are always musically and artistically beautiful. I think we're lucky that we're living in the same era with him.
ちょうどその夜に映画監督の甲斐田祐輔さんも来られて、皆で朝の６時まで色々と話をしました（笑）主に映画の話やったんですけど、めちゃめちゃ勉強になりました。いやー楽しかった。それにしてもやっぱり日本は狂ってるなー。
At that night, a movie director Mr.Yusuke Kaida came to Mr.Hanno's place too, then we talked a lot until six o'clock in the morning. Mainly we talked about movies but i learned a lot from them. That was fun! Anyway I knew it but Japan is really crazy country....

昨日久しぶりに京都に行ってogurusu norihide君とkan daisuke君に会ってきました。オグルス君は今新しいアルバムの製作中で、最近歌に目覚めた彼は次のアルバムで歌いまくってるみたいです。楽しみ。カン君はまだ個人での作品はリリースしていないんですが、昨日聴かせてもらった曲達はどれも素晴らしい仕上がりでした！良いレーベルが見つかりますように。ダイちゃん頑張れ！ 二人とも元気そうで良かったです。
Yesterday I went to Kyoto to see ogurusu norihide and kan daisuke. Ogurusu is now making his new album and now he realized that he loved singing. He sang for quite many songs for his next album. I'm looking forward to it. Kan Daisuke, he has not released his own album yet, but I heard some of his latest works and i thought they're all masterfully done!

僕の友人でもある澤井妙治君が東京のICCで行われているn_extという企画に参加しています。
彼の作品にはいつも度肝を抜かれいて、僕が心から尊敬するアーティストの一人です。マジでカッコイイですよ。枠がないというか、自由というか。僕が感動する時って大体めちゃめちゃビックリした時なんですけど、彼の作品にはいつも驚かされています。是非行ってみてください。
５月２２日に青山スパイラルホールでライブがあるみたいです。これまた友人であり、またまた僕が心から尊敬するアーティストの徳井直生君も参加してます。僕も行こうと思ってます。楽しみ。
One of my friend taeji sawai is now exhibiting his work at ICC in Tokyo for an event called n_ext.
His works are always surprising me, and he is one most respectable artist for me. I love his works. whenever I'm impressed by somebody's work is always when i'm surprised. And of course he always makes me surprised. If you have a chance, please be there.
And also they have a concert too in May 22nd at Aoyama Spiral Hall. Nao Tokui (he's also one of the most respectable artist and he's my friend too) is also going to do his LIVE at there.
I'm planning to be there, I'm looking forward to it.

僕の友人でもあるThe Sine Wave Orchestraが2004年のArs Electronica Digital Music部門のHonorary Mentionを受賞しました! おめでとう！！素晴らしい！
同じ日本人としてとても誇らしいです。サッカーとか野球などの分野では海外で活躍している日本人がいつも大々的にメディアに取り上げられていますが、僕たちのような分野でも彼らのように素晴らしい結果を残す人たちが日本にもいるっていうのをもっと日本のメディアにも取り上げて欲しいですね。ごく少数のメディア以外は、お金持ってる人たちだけがメディアなどで紹介される世の中ですから、、なんかおかしいです。結果で判断して欲しい。
それと来る6/19土曜に初台オペラシティのICCにてThe Sine Wave Orchestraを行うそうです。皆サイン波を出せるモノを持って行けば誰でも参加できるので、是非！僕はまだ一度も参加した事がないんですけど、次回は機会があれば是非参加したいです。

I'm so proud of them as the same Japanese.
Some Japanese who take an active part in a field of football or baseball in overseas are featured on multi media like TV or magazines quite often, but it's quite rare that people who works in our field have the same situation. I hope someday Japanese media pick up poeple who give smashing results like SWO. I feel something's wrong in Japan now because only pople who can buy pages on the magazine with money can be exposed to magazines or other media.
Of couse very few of them are not like this. But i'd like them to make judgements by what we've done.
And they'll do The Sine Wave Orchestra at ICC in Hatsudai Tokyo. Please join them with something can produce sine wave! Anybody can join it if you have it. I've never joined it before, but I'd really love to next time!
