このムービー面白いです。
自分は根本から概念が覆るような物事が大好きですので、こういうの最高です。こういう視点を持つようになってから、映画とかテレビみたいな印象操作の意図がたっぷり込められた人工のお話も時々は面白いけど、それよりも現実の世界を観察するのが凄く楽しくなってきました。人間の活動や文明の変化も、自然のっていうか宇宙の流れの一部なんやなと。それと同時に写真を撮るのもより楽しくなってきました。地球文明って面白い。 人間が勝手に作ったルールとかタブーとか秘密が沢山あって、またそれが面白い。日本特に面白い。それもこれも全部、地球っていう小さい生き物の中に住んでる人間っていう微生物が起こした一瞬の出来事やと思うと、全てがギャグに見えてくる。
I enjoyed this movie a lot.
Since i had this kind of point of view, at last I enjoy watching things from distance in this real world around us, rather than watching artificial stories on TV or movies with full of impression management (except amazing historical masterpieces). Finally i knew that human activities are part of laws of Universe. and at the same time this makes me enjoy shooting photos more. I love watching terrestrial civilization from distance. it's interesting because there are so many artificial rules, taboos and secrets everywhere. by the way Japan makes me really excited these days because i was lucky enough to have a lot of experience (still not enough though) outside of Japan, so that now i can see a lot of unique parts of my own culture which i didn't even notice for a long time. Everything happens on this planet looks really funny when i see this civilization as microorganisms which lives on a tiny life called "the Earth".

Recently I uploaded an audio file on download page, which was recorded on the street in Berlin at around 0:40am 1st of January 2009. i recorded on the way from my place to my friend's place. we don't have this in Japan. it was interesting moment for me. I love the moment when i feel any kinds of cultural difference.

Recently Japanese musician Soulja gave me a chance to work on one of his songs on his 2nd album. I'd like to say thank you for giving me this chance to SoulJa, Kawazoe-san, Kondo-san, Hosono-san, Azuma-san, people from commmons and Taro-san from op.disc. It'll be released on 25th of Feb in Japan.
コレも凄い。物凄い景色やなと。やっぱり鉄筋コンクリートの建物は、あれぐらい激しい火事になって一晩中燃えても垂直に倒壊するような事はないんですね. interesting.
and this is... I must say that it's quite a view.. but this also tells us that modern steel and concrete building doesn't fall down vertically even if they had such intense fire for all night. interesting.

DicksonのLIVE良かった。中国の伝統楽器を含めた音の選び方のセンスが凄く良くて、それ以外音楽的な音はあまり使ってないのに（LIVE中コンピュータの問題もあったのに）終止音楽的で美しかった。半野さんは映画監督の甲斐田祐輔さんの映像をバックに美しい音楽を聴かせてくださった。甲斐田さんの映像も美しくて、半野さんの音楽との相乗効果が素晴らしかった。甲斐田監督のフレーミングと光の捉え方と半野さんの複雑なのにシンプルに聴こえるハーモニーと感情的な全体の構成には脱帽です。ホウ・シャオシェン監督、ジャジャンクー監督、ユーリクアイ監督を始め、最近半野さんの音楽に反応する才能ある映画監督が増え始めてる。素晴らしい。
Dickson's show was amazing. He used some samples from Chinese traditional instruments combined with his unique noise, and the whole structure of his show was really musical, beautiful and emotional at the same time. Mr.Yoshihiro HANNO played with visual filmed by a Japanese movie director Mr.Yusuke Kaida. Mr.Hanno's music was really beautiful, simple but complicated at the same time as always, and His Music and Mr.Kaida's visual generated a incredible synergistic effect. I love the way Mr.Kaida captures the light and also his own characteristic camera angle. Please check their works when you have a chance. These days a lot of talented movie directors such as HouHsiaoHsien, Jia Zhang Ke are interested in Mr.Hanno's music for their movies. Amazing.

確か４年ぶりの日本の夏。。凄い暑い。。僕は地球温暖化はやっぱり太陽の活動が活発になったせいやと思う。人間が住んでない太陽系の他の惑星も温暖化してるそうですし。どこもかしこもCO2, CO2って、、もちろんCO2も関係無くはないと思うけど、なんかプロパガンダっぽい、と僕は個人的に感じてます。この本めっちゃお勧め。
I think I haven't been in Japan in summer time since 4 years... it's so hot.. I think global warming is caused by the Sun. Now the Sun is working really hard. I've read that the other planets in our solar system are also getting hot without human activities. I see "CO2, CO2" everywhere in Japan.. I don't think it's the only reason for Global Warming. For me it looks like one of those propaganda.
昨日の京都METROのパーティー最高でした。KO-JAX, kohei, masda, ono,日本人テクノDJ凄い。masdaさんのDJは今回初めて聴いてめっちゃ踊りました。今週末はMETROでPICASSO。僕はその日シンガポールで行けないけど、チャンス有る方、音楽好きな方は是非。
I went to the club METRO in Kyoro to check KO-JAX, kohei, masda, and ono's DJ. You need to check Japanese techno DJs. They're amazing. This time I checked masda's DJ set first time and it was amazing. They're gonna have another party PICASSO at the same place this weekend. I'll be in Singapore on that day so I can't come, but Please check it when you have a chance. Great party.
車って大きくなった"男の子"のオモチャやなと思う。
環境に悪いというのは十分承知しつつも、僕みたいに成長の過程で色んなメディアを通して人間の幼稚な部分を刺激された男子にとっては、たとえ32歳に近づきつつあったとしてもやっぱり車はひたすらカッコイイ。ガソリンじゃなくて、水で走れば完璧やのに。一つ目以外は前にもご紹介したリンクですが、もう一回。っていうか何度でも。

I think, Cars are toys for BOYS who grew up.
I know they produce a lot of CO2 but still they look cool especially for boys who were stimulated childish part of his brain through out his life by various medias. such as me, I'm definitively one of them. we should use water instead of Gasoline. 簡易炉で「常温核融合」か 北大院・水野氏が確認 国際学会で発表へ（06/12 06:39）
北大大学院工学研究科の水野忠彦氏（エネルギー環境システム）は十一日、水素と炭素を簡易な反応容器（炉）で加熱する実験で、通常の化学反応では起こりえない異常な発熱（過剰熱）の確認と、核融合反応を示すガンマ線を検出したことを明らかにした。水野氏は「常温核融合」が確認できたとして、八月に米ワシントンで開かれる国際常温核融合学会で報告する。
実験はステンレス合金製の炉（内容積八十八ｃｃ）の内部に、炭素を含む多環芳香族炭化水素の一種フェナントレンを〇・一グラム投入した上で、高圧水素ガスで満たし密閉して行った。
ガス中の水素原子などを規則正しく配列させて反応を促進する働きを持つ白金とイオウを触媒に用いた。
水素を七十気圧まで加圧し、加熱器の設定温度を六六○度とした場合、設定温度に達して加熱を止めた後も炉内の温度は約一時間上昇を続け、最大で六九○度に達した。この過程で過剰熱の出力は六十ワット、発熱量は二百四十キロジュールで、化学反応で得られるエネルギーの少なくとも百倍以上だった。
水野氏は同様の実験を三十回実施し、すべてで過剰熱を確認。また実験後の炉内で《１》地球上の炭素の約１％を占めるにすぎない炭素同位体「炭素１３」が大量に発生《２》実験当初は存在していなかった窒素が発生−し、いずれも化学反応で説明できない現象から、水野氏は「炉内で水素と炭素の常温核融合反応が起きているとしか考えられない」と話す。
岩手大工学部の山田弘教授（電気エネルギー工学）は「通常の化学反応では起こりえない過剰熱が発生している可能性が極めて高い。注目に値する研究だ」。
ある大手メーカーの有力研究員も「過去に報告されている常温核融合とは全く異なる実験結果で、興味深い」と話している。

ベルリン一発目のエントリーは以前からこのblogでもお伝えしてたJung JaeHyungのアルバムの宣伝から。４月３日に韓国のseoul recordsからリリース。今回アジアのPOPSっていうカテゴリーにトライするチャンスを与えてくれたJaeHyungに感謝。最初は分からない事ばっかりで一時はどうなるのかと思ったけど、何とかええ感じでまとまったと思います。本当に沢山の事を学んだし、楽しかった。全１０曲中５曲に参加させてもらってます。
Jung HaeHyung's new album is going to be released on seoul records on 3rd of April 2008. I did 5 songs. I'd like to say thank you to JaeHyung for giving me a chance to try Asian POP music this time. To be honest I didn't really know what to do at the beginning but I gradually learned so many things and had so much fun.

半野さんの映画音楽の中でも僕の一番のお気に入りの"platform"をremixするチャンスをいただけた時は本当に嬉しかった。でも同時にちょっと緊張しました。大好きな曲をremixするってかなり難しい。案の定時間はかなりかかりながらも満足のいく結果になりました、楽しかった。半野さんありがとうございました。半野さんのアイデアで別々の３曲の素材を使って１曲を作るっていう方法でやってみました。久しぶりのノンビートもええ感じ。CD2枚組！男前やね。
I was so excited when Hanno-san asked me to remix his "platform" which is one of my best favorites, but i was a bit nervous at the same time. Remixing my favorite song is a quite dificult thing to do. however it took a while but finally i managed it and I like the result very much. I mixed three different songs into one and it worked quite good i think. THNANK YOU so much Mr.Hanno for giving me a chance to remix your work. 2CDs!!

I'm supposed to be ready soon to move to Berlin in the middle of next month, but I just don't feel like working on it then recently I'm always doing something else. I came back to Paris a few days ago. I'd like to say thank you to everybody who i met this time in Japan. thank you all and hope to see you soon. I'm glad that we finally finished Jung JaeHyung's album. I hope you'll get a chance to hear it someday. I think It is the popest one I've ever tried before, but i like it and I learned a lot from it. Now i'm gonna work on finishing sound effects for Tujiko Noriko's new movie and also my next album.

22日のLIVEの後にそのまま東京から名古屋に行って、club MagoでやってたDARTRIXのLIVEを観に行く。二人共カッコ良かったー、、LIVEの出だしとか鳥肌経ちました。やっぱりmagoは音が良いですね。音の良いクラブで良い音楽聴くのって本当にリッチな時間やなって思いました。フミヤさんのDJも凄かった!!!!!!!
After my LIVE show on 22nd in Tokyo i went to Nagoya to see DARTRIX's LIVE show at club Mago. I really loved their show.. sounds amazing... especially I really loved the first part. They have really good sound system in Mago, and i thought listening good music with good sound system is one of the richest moment in my life, isn't it? And Fumiya-san's DJ was INCREDIBLE!!!!!
翌日の24日に大阪のROCKETSであったGolden Pink ArrowのLIVEを観に行く。実は僕彼らのLIVEを観るのは初めてやったんです。いやー、これもヤバかった。。ACOとサワイ君のコンビはもう言う事無しにカッコ良いのは分かってるけど、Simmy-Hendrixことシミちゃんのギターとタナカ君のドラムが入る事によって、更に音楽として高い波動が出てた気がした。タナカ君の写真がなくてごめんなさい。。タナカ君、ドラムめっちゃ良かったで。マジで。GPAの皆さん、お願いやからもっとLIVEやってください。
and i went to ROCKETS in Osaka to see Golden Pink Arrow's show. It was also AMAZING.. I knew ACO and Taeji make really cool sounds but a guitarist Simmy-Hendrix ;-) and drummer Tanaka-kun also played amazing sound and they all worked in a perfect way..I felt amazing vibration from them. Please play more. Please do not stop.

ご無沙汰してました。少し前から日本に帰って来てます。思ったより暖かくてなんか変な感じ。
10月28日に韓国のソウルで行われたイベント"MELTING vol.01"に参加させてもらってきました。今回このイベントを主催してくださったミュージシャンのyoonsangとこのイベントに関わった全ての方々に感謝したい。韓国では僕達のような音楽のイベントは今回が初めてだったそうなので、オーガナイザ側も色々とどうやって良いのか分からない事が多かったみたいでしたし、オーディエンス側もどうリアクションして良いのか分からないみたいな感じでしたけど、結果としては良い感じでイベントを終えれたと思ってます。これを機に韓国にも僕たちのような音楽のシーンが生まれて大きくなっていけば嬉しいなー。そんなソウルでの写真をいくつか。
it's been a while again. Now I'm back in Japan since some days ago. It's much warmer than i thought and this makes me feel strange.... I think it's not normal..
Anyway, I had a chance to visit and perform in Seoul for the event called "MELTING vol.01" which was held on 28th of October. I'd like to say thank you to Mr.yoonsang who's a really famous and talented musican gave us a chance to perform in Seoul and also THANK YOU to all the people who worked for this event.
They said it was the first time to have an event with our kind of music in Korea, so I'm sure everybody include organizers and audiences had almost no idea what to do and how to react to my kind of music... but i thought most of the audience looked happy at the end, and we did our best to make it happen, so I'm really satisified with the result. I hope i'll be able to come back in Seoul and perform again there. Here are some photos from Seoul.

韓国には一週間以上滞在してました。毎日がホントに楽しくて、たくさんの刺激的な人たちと出会う事もできて本当に充実してました。韓国人と日本人って色んな意味でホンマに似てると思う。似過ぎてて毎日違和感をほとんど感じなかった。楽しかった。
I spent more than one week in Seoul. I had amazing time everyday and met so many exciting people there. I think Korean and Japanese have so many similarities in so many ways. I felt that we're almost the same and i didn't feel any uncomfortable feeling at all during my stay.
ここからは日本の写真。毎回日本に帰ってくると、もう散々見飽きたはずの大阪の景色が凄く特殊なものに見える。常に偏見の無い視点で物事を見ないとなって毎回日本に帰ってくる度に思うんです。 夕日が文句なしに奇麗でした。
Here's the Japanese part. Whenever i come back to Osaka, I see something different from before. I thought i knew what Osaka look like and I thought i got bored with the sight of Osaka, but Somehow it looks really different when i come back. I need to see everything without prejudice at all time. It was amazing sunset.

最近写真が楽しくて写真ばっかり撮ってる気がする。音楽もっと頑張らなアカンのは十分承知してるんですけど、たまには作りたくない時もありますよね。
Now I realized that I've been shooting photos instead of making music.. I know I need to work on music but sometimes I don't feel like it.
ここからは少し前のスイスの写真。スイスは戦争であんまり空爆されなかった事もあってか街に樹齢が高そうな木が沢山あって、僕の勝手な思い込みかもしれないけど、彼らが人間にとっての良いエネルギー供給源になってる気がする。生活してる身近な場所に大きな木があると気分が落ち着くのはそのせいじゃないかと勝手に思う。そのエネルギーは今の科学では検出されないだけで、実在してる事は確かだと僕は感じる。人間にはそれを感じるセンサーが元々備わってるけど、今の科学でそれを検出できる測定器は無い。今の科学で測定できないから存在しないっていう事は絶対にない。放射能を検出する技術がなかった時代のはるか昔から放射能はずっと存在してたし。それと同じ気がする。いつか大きな木の近くに住みたい。
What i was amazed when i came to Europe first time was there are so many huge trees in most of the cities. Of course we have huge trees in Japan but I think there are not so many in the city side especially in Osaka. I think most of them were burnt by random bombing in WW2. This might be wrong but i feel that trees give us energy to calm us down. Today we cannot detect this energy with any machines so far, but i believe that basically human beings have a sense to feel it. I wanna live by the huge tree someday.
最近仲良くしてるT君。彼も最近大きな公園の近くに引っ越して、毎日緑の中を散歩するようになってから精神的にかなり落ち着いたそうです。良かったなー、T君。
僕はずっと環境問題とか戦争とかそういう人間がずっと持ってるデッカイ問題に関して色々と自分なりに調べてきたんですが、最近下記のムービーを観てから、そういう『諦めてしまいそうなぐらい』デッカイ問題ってほぼ全部が現在の貨幣システムから出てきてるんじゃないかと思うようになって来ました。現代の僕たち人間の営みの中で最も重要と言って良い要素である『オカネ』。でも学校でもその本質は全く教えてもらえなかった。学校では記憶力勝負ばっかり。。現代の貨幣システムを変えない限り戦争も環境破壊もなくならない、と僕は思います。
このムービーを作られた方々と日本語字幕を作られた方々に心から感謝します。もうご存知の方も多いと思うけど、僕のblogをチェックしてくださってる皆さんと是非このムービーを共有したいと思って。ちょっと長いけど、変な洗脳ハリウッド映画観るよりは心に良いと思います。是非お友達にも教えてあげてください。
それにしてもこの貨幣システムを作った人たちはホント天才ですね。天才の詐欺師＋手品師みたい。もうちょっと人類のためにその頭を使えば良かったのにね。

I've been researching about environmental issues of the Earth and also War which human beings have been struggling to solve since long time ago, but Recently i watched those movies above and felt that most of those problem come from our money system. In other words we need to change our money system to solve those big problems. You might already knew about it, but I just wanted to share these movies with people who's checking my blog. I'd like to say thank you to people who made these movies and also people who made Japanese transration. It might a bit long but i think it's much better for your mental health than watching brain washing Hollywood movies ;-) Please check them when you have time.

写真とは全く関係ないんですが、先日初めてRyoji Ikedaさんにお会いする機会をいただけた。ホントに奇妙な縁でお会いさせていただく事になったんです。出会いって面白い。池田さんのアーティストとしてのまっすぐな姿勢に感銘を受ける。音とご本人の感じがブレてないのが凄いと思いました。結局音ってその人そのものなんやなー。お会いできて嬉しかった。これからYCAMで次の作品の制作に入られるそうです。
There's no relation to those photos, but i had a chance to meet Mr.Ryoji Ikeda the other day. I was really impressed by his attitude on his works as an artist. His music represents himself. This is what i thought when i met Ikeda-san. Respect. He said he's gonna start working his next piece soon at YCAM in Japan.

先日友人が撮ってくれた。新しいアーティスト写真が欲しいなーって思ってたので、これでええかなって思ったけど、、やっぱりやめときます。アーティスト写真を用意せなアカン時っていつもホンマに困る。
日本も色々と大変な事になってるみたいですね。。原発による放射能汚染が心配です。。都心のネオンとか昼間は全部消せば良いのに。あれは必要ないと思う。それにあれだけコンビニがあったら自動販売機もいらんと思うんです。

６月８日にポーランドのWarsawであったフェスティバルでのLIVEを終えて、その翌朝の９日にオランダのRotterdamに行ってCAMERA JAPANっていうイベントに参加させてもらう。ポーランドは軽く修行っぽいイベントで、RotterdamでもLIVE直前までチケット買ってくれた人の数が１４人って言われて、、ああー、ごめんなさい、、って思ったんですけど、最終的には１００人ぐらいのお客さんが僕のLIVEで踊ってくれたみたいで、安心しました。。もっと普通に人が呼べるように頑張ろうって、改めて痛感。。RotterdamでのLIVE自体はサウンドシステム(d&b audio僕のお気に入り、YCAMもこれ)も会場のアンビエンスもエンジニアさんも最高で、自分でも過去最高のLIVEができたんじゃないかと思ってます。この場をお借りして、LIVEに来てくれた皆さん、Moving Closer FestivalのオーガナイザのDariuszと、CAMERA JAPANのオーガナイザの方々と、それに友人たちに感謝します。ありがとうございます。
I went to Warsaw in Poland on 8th of June, and the next day on 9th, after the show, i went to Rotterdam to play at the event called CAMERA JAPAN. They had really good sound system called d&b audio(this is my favorite!) and also really great sound engineer Frank, and it was really well organized event. I really enjoyed the show there. I think i've done one of my best shows this time in Rotterdam. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see my show in Warsaw and Rotterdam, and thank you to Dariusz who organizes "Moving Closer Festival" In Warsaw, and also thank you for all the people who works for "CAMERA JAPAN", and all my friends there.
オランダって道ばたに雑草が凄く多くて、みんなどれも自然な感じで生えてて凄く良い。湿度が高いからかな。やっぱり自然はあまり人間の手を加えずに、あるがままに放っておくのが良いような気がする。その方が見た目も良い。
I love those unknown plants by the streets. I see many places like this everywhere in Netherland. They all look living in natural situation, and I think all plants should be like this. It looks much better than European axisymmetric arrangement parks.
オランダに友人が住んでて、彼のお勧めの場所に連れて行ってくれるというので皆でDen Haagっていう海沿いの街に行ってきました。久しぶりに海を目の前で見たらちょっと感動。海デカ過ぎ。裸足でビーチを歩いたり深呼吸したりして海のエネルギーを少しいただく。
One of my friends is living in Netherland, and he took us to his favorite place. we all went to Den Haag to see ocean. It's been a while to see ocean in front of me so I felt something really strong from it. It is really huge.. I walked the beach without my shoes and took some deep breath to get a lot of energy from there.
この前日本で撮った写真を現像したので、ここからはその時のお気に入りの写真をいくつか。やっぱりフィルム良いなー、、最近フィルムで写真撮り始めて、写真ってそう言えばこんなに感動できるものやったって事を思い出しました。

やっぱり日本の朝ご飯が最高。日本人で良かった、、ってホンキで思います。やっぱり漬け物が恋しくなるなー。
I think Japanese breakfast is the best in the world in many ways ;-) Maybe that's because I'm Japanese.. but i really feel happy whenever i have Japanese Breakfast in my home town.

イギリスのシェフィールドで行われているLovebytes 2007っていうフェスティバルに参加させてもらって、5月19日にLIVEさせてもらってきました。僕もずっとファンだったSNDがこのイベントの主催者で、さすが彼らのキャスティングもあってか他のアーティストも皆ホントにハイクオリティな人達ばっかりで、凄く刺激的な数日間でした。いつも通りLIVE reviewsにもアップしてあるので、是非。

いつものメンバーで集まって、いつものお店へ。気の合う友達って、久しぶりに会ったはずやのに全然久しぶりな感じがしない。
They're all my old friends and I meet them whenever I come back to Osaka and go to the same restaurant as always. It's been a while to see them but we all didn't feel that we didn't see each other long time. This happens quite often between good friends.
こういう場所見ると、日本に帰って来たなーって感じます。

5月25日は東京のSuperDeluxeっていう所であった"Gelman Lounge"っていうイベントでLIVEをやらせてもらう。色々トラブルもありましたが、オーディエンスの皆さんと僕の後に出てたバンドの方々のヘルプもいただけて、結果オーライって感じでした。皆さんありがとうございました。沢山の新しい刺激的な人達に出会えて良かったなー。楽しかった。Thanks Gelman and Ivan.
I did LIVE at SuperDeluxe in Tokyo on 25th of May at the party called "Gelman Lounge". I had some troubles during my LIVE but, thanks for the audience and the Band who played after me, I think it was OK.. I did my best. Thank you for everybody. I'm glad that i met so many new people and they're all really stimulating people. I had fun. I'd like to say thank you to Gelman and ivan who organized this party.
イベントの後はサワイ君とかカンタ君とかダイト君とかヨコイ君とかジョウ君とかタロウさんとかイクミちゃんとかモリワキとか、気の合う皆でafter party。これまた楽しかったー。この写真は35mmのアナログ。奥行きがあるなー。

その翌日から妹の住む長野へ。今回日本には１０ヶ月の姪っ子に会う為に帰って来たようなものでして、この日からしばらく長野で過ごしました。天気も良くて最高。やっぱり田舎は良い。プラスのエネルギーが溢れてる。
The next day, i went to Nagano where my sister lives. My main purpose of visiting Japan is to see my niece. She's 10 months old. I spent some time there after the show. It was really nice weather during my stay. I love country side. I feel really positive energy everywhere.
人間のタイムスケールで花とか木を見てると『咲いてる』って感じがするけど、地球のタイムスケールで見てると想像すると、まさに爆発ですよね。至る所で爆発してた。
When we see blooming or trees from Human being's time scale(I hope my English is OK..), it looks only normal blooming, but when i try to see it from global time scale, I thought it must be an Explosion. I saw Explosion everywhere in Nagano.
コレも35mm。こんな所に住みたい。最近誰かが言ってたけど、もともと『木』と『気』は同じ言葉やったんじゃないかって。僕もこれに納得。木を見てるとなんか落ち着くし、僕は時々行き詰まった時は近所の公園に行って木に抱きつくんです。そしたら結構良いアイデアが出てくる。
This is also taken with 35mm analogue camera. I wanna live somewhere like this. One of my friend told me interesting story this time. He said that he read a book and it said, in long time ago, "Ki" (means TREE) and "Qi" (means vital energy, we pronouce the same as TREE but use different Chinese letter for this word) were the same words. I agree with this idea. Whenever i see trees, they make me relaxed, and whenenver I have hard time making music, I always put my arms around a tree in the park. Then I often have good ideas.
いやー、もう僕はメロメロです。super可愛い。この世代の子供たちの為にも良い環境を作っていきたい。
My niece. Super cute.. ;-) I do my best to make better enviroment and situation for this generation.
5月30日に東京に戻って、スタジオCueveでエンジニアの早乙女さんに次のアルバムのマスタリングをしていただく。結果には大満足です。早乙女さん、素晴らしいお仕事をしてくださってありがとうございました。スタジオCueveのスタッフの方々にも感謝。８月ぐらいにリリース予定です。また近々情報アップしますね。
Then i went back to Tokyo on 30th of May and went to studio Cueve for mastering of my next album which is planning to be released in August. Mr.Saotome who's a sound engineer did super great job and I'm really really happy with the result. I'll tell you about this album soon.
東京芸術大学で徳井君がMAX/mspの授業を持っていて、31日はそのクラスでサワイ君と一緒に授業に参加させてもらいました。学生さんたちの良い刺激になれば良いけど。左から学生さんの古澤君、松村さん、徳井君、僕、サワイ君。写真撮ってくれたのは学生さんの上田君。
Nao Tokui is teaching MAX/msp at Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku (Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music), and Me and Taeji Sawai had a chance to talk in the class on 31st of May. I hope we gave them some good influence to have interesting new ideas.
ツジコノリコもちょうど日本にアルバムリリースツアーで帰って来てて、それで6月1日に彼女のアルバムリリースパーティーがあったので、サポートとしてチラっと参加させてもらってきました。ノリP大人気。この日も沢山の刺激的な人達とお会いできて楽しかったなー。。人との繋がりってホントに面白いし不思議、、人と繋がる事によってどんどん新しい世界が広がって行く。当たり前やけど。
Tujiko Noriko was also in Japan at that time for her Japan tour, then we had a chance to perform together on 1st of June in Tokyo. So many different artists came to support her LIVE show and they're all really great musicians.
実は帰りの飛行機でいつも使ってるデジタルカメラを紛失してしまって、、この後撮ったいい感じの写真を全部なくしてしまって、、カメラはまあ良いけど、写真が惜しい。。日本最終日は最近毎回恒例になってきた鴨川ピクニック。今回はオグルス君、黒川君、テラゾノ君と僕。夕方のマジックアワーが最高にきれいで、、そんな写真でした。。思い出してみよ。残念。
明日ポーランドのワルシャワでLIVEで、９日はロッテルダムでLIVEです。どっちも初めて行く街で楽しみやなー。
今回日本で会えた皆さんに感謝。楽しかったです。

地球の海が月の引力で満ち引きするみたいに、月本体も地球の引力の影響で少し歪んで地震が起こるんですって。この日のパーティーに以前月の研究をしてた物理学者の人が来てて教えてくれた。僕たち人間もあんまり気付かないだけで、実は結構月に引っ張られてるのかな。目に見えるぐらい引っ張られたら面白そう。
Just like we have tide which is caused by the effect of gravity of the moon, the moon also has different effect by gravity of the Earth which is "moon quake". My friend who used to work for a space project told me this when i took this photo.

パリの郊外にも桜が満開な公園があって、立派な八重桜がびっしり並んでる。並べ方が洋風やね。花見ってホントに素晴らしい習慣やなって思いました。アーティストのKOHIRA Atsunobu君がお茶を立ててくれた。アツ君ありがとう。粋やね。
Japanese have the custom of doing "HANAMI" which is cherry blossom viewing in English.
I love this tradition. We're loosing a lot of traditional things now, but This still stays as one of the most famous. There's a park in the suburbs of Paris which has a lot of cherry blossom. We went there and had very cool time. My friend KOHIRA Atsunobu served us some green tea there. Thank you atsu.

最近やっと念願の35mmのフィルムカメラを手に入れたから、太陽が沈んだ直後を狙って外に出てみたんです。この写真はデジタルですけど。デジカメに慣れてたせいもあって、撮った後すぐに画像を確認できないのがちょっと変な感じがしたけど、その分現像するのが凄く楽しみで、コレはなかなか久しぶりな気分でええ感じ。データは一瞬で消えるけど、フィルムは燃やさないとなくならないし、コレもまたええ感じ。でも確か現像液が環境に悪いんでしたっけ....
I finally got 35mm film camera, so I went out right after the sunset to shoot some photos. This one was took by digital. I already got used to digital camera, so i felt a bit strange when i took photos, because i cannot check the image right after. I thought I could hardly wait for seeing it, but now I like this feeling. I remember when I was using film camera a while ago.
今週末に久しぶりにLIVEさせてもらいます。フランスのtoulouseっていう街で行われる”EMPREINTES NUMERIQUES”っていうイベント。もしtoulouseにおられたら、是非。こんなにブランク空いた事ないから、ちょっとLIVE心配。今回のはちょっとユル〜イ感じで。

最近は一日が２４時間であるっていう事を、個人的にあんまり信じれなくなってしまうぐらい時間が過ぎるのが速い気がする。多分一日１６時間ぐらい。
Recently I cannot be really sure whether a day really has 24 hours. Personally I feel like a day only has about 16 hours. Time goes too fast.
５月末からチラっと日本に帰ります。２週間ぐらい。
I'm going back to Japan in the end of May just for a few weeks.

今週は黒川良一君とThe SINE WAVE ORCHESTRAの古館君が遊びに来てくれた。１６日には黒川君のLIVEを観に行ってきました。久しぶりに観た彼のLIVEは以前よりも色んな面でクオリティが更に増してて、LIVEの後はホントちょっとした短編映画を観た気分になった。皆さんも機会があれば是非。ただ残念ながら日本でのパフォーマンスの機会はあんまり無いみたい、、なんで？？欧米では正にひっぱりダコ状態やのにね....
ヨーロッパツアーの合間にウチに遊びに来てくれた二人に感謝。久しぶりに二人とゆっくり話せて良かった。
An audiovisual artist RYOICHI KUROKAWA and Ken from The SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA visited my place during their Europe tour. and I went to see RYOICHI's LIVE show in Paris on 16th. His LIVE gets more high quality in many dimensions compare to his show in a few years ago, and after the show i felt like that i saw a great short movie. Please check his performance when you have a chance. I don't know why but he doesn't have much opportunities to perform in Japan... why?? Anyway, I'd like say thank you for two of them.

ご無沙汰してます。２月に入ってからは細野さんのトリビュートアルバムの作業とか、以前このブログでもご紹介した韓国人ミュージシャンのJung Jae Hyungのアルバム制作に参加させてもらったりしてます。ここ数年で久しぶりにLIVEのない数ヶ月を過ごしました。なんか新鮮。
It's been a while again. I've been working on Haruomi Hosono's tribute album and also working on Korean Musician Jung Jae Hyung's album from the beginning of February.
僕は楽譜が読めないし書けないけど、JaeHyungは曲が思いつくとスラスラと楽譜に起こしていく。音楽家としては当たり前の事なんだろうけど、実は僕こういう作業を目の前で見るのは初めてで、ちょっと感動。横から見てて彼の頭の中で音楽が鳴ってるのが分かる。
I can't read and write score at all, but JaeHyung fluently writes his ideas as music score. I'm sure that it's normal thing for REAL musician, but.. Anyway, it was the first time for me to see somebody is writing score in front of me. When i saw him writing it, i definitely knew that his brain was filled with music. Amazing.
パリで今月開かれてるRETROMOBILEっていうクラッシックカーの展示販売会に行ってきました。以前このブログでも紹介させていただいたAKIHIRO KAMIMURAさんも来られていたので、合流させてもらいました。上村さん、今回も刺激的なお話ありがとうございました。
I went to RETROMOBILE 2007 Paris the other day, with Mr.AKIHIRO KAMIMURA. I mentioned about him on my previous entry. I think He's one of the best 1/43 scale modeler of all.
80年代のF1マシンが売ってました. 車が温室効果ガスを出さなかったら良いのにな、、ってホントに思う、、。地球環境の事を考えたら、湯水のようにガソリンを使うF1はやっぱり規制、もしくはルール変更されるベキなんでしょうね。でも美しいなー。

先日サワイ君から『今パリでベルリン行きの飛行機がキャンセルになったから遊びに行っていいか』って突然連絡があって、久しぶりにウチに来てくれた。ACOとのバンド "golden pink arrow?" の話とか、おもろい話を色々聞かせてもらってまた刺激をもらえました。映像作家のYuki Kawamuraも来てくれて、皆でずっと大爆笑。腹筋が切れそうでした。。突然予告もなしに友人が訪ねて来るって良いですね。あと実際に会って話すのと、チャットとか電話で話すのとではホンマに情報量が違うなって痛感しましたね。楽しかったなー、サワイ君ありがとー。
Taeji Sawai, one of my favorite artists and one of my friends accidentally visited my place a few days ago. He visited Europe to perform in Berlin but his flight from Paris to Berlin was cancelled then gave me a phone call. He told me some news about his new band with a Japanese female vocalist ACO called "golden pink arrow?" and some other funny stories and we exchanged news each other. Visual artists Yuki Kawamura who lives in Paris also came to see him and they made me laugh to death with their funny stories... It's really good when have sudden visit.

この人の脱力感と適当さが、なんか好きです。英語で何て言えば良いのか分からんです。

今日は初めてオートクチュールのショーを観る機会をいただけました。Adeline Andreっていう方です。どの作品も過剰な装飾が全然なくて、素材感と色と着た時のフォルムが凄く綺麗で繊細で軽やかで、見た目はシンプルですけど、なんか言語やったら説明できない何かがあるような気がしました。それって全ての芸術作品にとって凄く重要な要素である気がするんですよね。Adelineも日本大好きだそうです。オートクチュールってスゲー.. 高そー... ユキエちゃんとAdelineに感謝。
I visited Adeline Andre's show this evening. Thanks to Yukie who gave us this opportunity and Adeline. I really loved the way she uses those specific materials and colors and also I loved their shapes. They're all look simple but have something very special which is invisible and difficult to explain in words. And i think this is really important thing for every art work. This is the first time i saw Haute Couture show, and it was unforgettable moment. They all must be really expensive...
今まで寒い日とかホンマに嫌やったけど、寒いはずの時期に寒くないっていうのは、ちょっと色々と考えさせられる。そろそろF1の2007年用ニューマシンが発表され始める時期なんですけど、F1は環境に良くないしなーって思うと、なんか最近は盛り上がりきれないです。でもF1は大好き。。矛盾やね。
そんな時に下記のようなムービーを見つけました。水（海水もOKだそうです）を燃料として使って、排ガスは水蒸気を出すっていうエンジンを搭載した車。ホンマかいなと思ってwikipediaで調べたら、この技術は今科学的に真偽を問うている状態 だそうです。そのページで気になったのが、この技術を発見したStanley Meyerさんが1998年にレストランで食事した後に亡くなられてる事。う〜ん、、世界ってこんなんばっかり。。各国政府の偉い人達にお願いしたい。戦争とか人殺しはもういいから、この技術を大々的に導入してください、お願いします、ほんまに。
この技術がF1に使えたらなー。水蒸気が出るから路面は常にウェットやね。

I hate cold but when it's not cold even in mid winter, I become a bit anxious. New F1 cars for 2007 season are coming out this winter season, but i cannot really feel happy about this exciting news these days because I've been thinking about global warming. Then i found some movies above which is about Water fuel cell. Wikipedia says "The neutrality and factual accuracy of this article are disputed." And it also says Mr.Stanley Meyer who invented this technology died after eating at a restaurant on 21 March 1998. mmhhh... Always like this... I find this kind of stories very often recently. Anyway, I'd like to ask people who's working for each governments to use this technologies in anyway, instead of spending a lot of money on bombing and killing innocent people. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.
If they use this technology on F1 cars, the engine produces water vapor as exhaust gas, so it must be wet condition in all time ;-)
フィリピンにも同じような技術を見つけた方がおられました。政府が取り合ってくれないって嘆いておられる。やっぱりこの技術は今の権力者さん達には都合が悪いのかな。石油用のインフラが全部いらんくなるし、収入がなくなるしね。正に一長一短、どこかが伸びればどこかがヘコむ。大いなる自然の摂理やね。

I think you should connect your audio out put to speakers when you see the 4th movie so that you can understand it better.

I can't find the English news(found it below13/09) of this but it says "U.S. Senate reported that Al-Qaeda is nothing to do with former president of Iraq". Then why did they start this war at the end? This is what we call blatant deception by American government and thier sponsors and also some other countries who support this war. Japanese government is one of them too. How many people did they kill because of this reason?

２４日から友人の家族が持つ別荘にお邪魔してきました。パリから電車で６時間。普段村に住んでいる人はだいたい２０人っていう南フランスにある小さい村。バカンス時期になると大体９０人ぐらいまで増えるそうです。フランスの大自然を満喫させてもらいました。空気が違う。空気が違うと睡眠の深さも違う。今回もまた素晴らしい人たちに出会えました。みんなで僕の誕生日を祝ってくれて本当に嬉しかった。みんなありがとう。いつも通りの特別な誕生日になりました。
One of my friends invited me to their vacation house in South of France. It took about 6 hours from Paris by train. They said usually only 20 people live in this small village but in the summer season, more people come here and enjoy their vacation. It was so beautiful place... Air is so different... Thank you so much all of you. I met wonderful people there this time too. It was very special moment.
僕たちがステイしてた村から車で３０分ぐらい行った町で、ちょうど野外映画際が開かれていたので観に行ってきました。夜９時ぐらいから朝まで。映画が始まる前の前座として木の下にバンドが集まって生演奏。ちょっと監督の名前忘れてしまったんですけど、２本目の『guitar lesson』とかそんなタイトルの短編と、その後に上映された長編が良かった。両方ともフランス人監督でした。後で調べておきます。映画の途中でふと空を見上げると満天の星空。天の川もハッキリ見えたし、流れ星も二つ見た。この地方はフランスでも一番星が綺麗な場所だとか。ラッキー。それにしても夜は寒かった。
We went to the small outdoor movie festival which was held in another town where it took around 30 minutes by car from where we stayed.They played some movies from around 9:00pm till when it gets bright in the morning. Just before they play the first one, a band came and play some tunes. I liked this atmosphere very much.I forgot the name of the director(I'll ckeck it later), but I liked the second one called "Guitar Lesson" and the third one after that. Both was produced by French directors. When i looked up during the movie, i saw wonderful starry sky and The Milky Way and also some Shooting stars too. They said this place was one of the best places to see stars. I was so lucky. Anyway, it was freezing in the night!

ヤギのチーズとイチジクを間違った方法で食べようとしてた僕です。それにしてもこのチーズの臭いは、、日本人の僕にとってちょっとキツかったな。。慣れが必要です。
この村にも地球温暖化（この温暖化って言葉が生温いと思う。地球熱暴走とかどうでしょう。ちょっと緊迫感あるでしょ。）の影響が来てるそうです。いつもなら快晴が続く夏の時期なのに、この地方も今年はかなりの冷夏に見舞われて普段もうとっくに飛び立ってるはずのツバメが予定より１ヶ月以上経った今でも村に居座ってるそう。この村でも最近そういう事が多くなったって住民の人が言ってました。田中優さんの本にも書いてあったけど、僕たちがどれだけ省エネしても、大企業の工場や戦争の過程で排出される温室効果ガスが減らない限り温暖化を止めるのは難しい。。地球が一つの生命（生き物）だとしたら(James Lovelock氏のインタビュー)、僕たち人間は癌細胞かも。癌には良性もあれば悪性もある。悪性はごく小さくても最終的には生命を死においやる。今は地球が熱を出してそれに抵抗してる。ただ一つ、人間は本人が良性になろうと思えばいつでもそうなれるという事が重要なんじゃないかな。教育ってホンマに大切やなーって、、最近痛感します。僕ももっと勉強しないと。誰かの都合の為に作られた嘘じゃなくて、どんなにヘコむ内容であってもやっぱり真実が知りたい。
One of the residents said that they also have some global warming effects there.They usually have hot enough summer, but it's getting colder recently. So some migrant birds can't find their way to go because they don't have enough clear sky. I read a book written by Mr.Yu Tanaka and it says even if we ordinary people try hard to save energy to reduce CO2, huge factories and War destroy everything at the same time. If we think about it in Mr.James Lovelock's way, we human beings are the same as cancer cells in our bodis. We have two types of Cancer cells which is good and bad. And Bad one can kill the host at the end. and Now The Earth might have fever to get rid of them. But i think we need to remember that we can be good cells or bad cells by acting on our own will. I think this is very important thing. and I believe that Education is what we need now and I want to learn more. What i wanna know is the truth, I don't wanna know faked information to protect few powerfull people on this planet. I wanna know the truth even if it's a shocking story.

８月６日は広島に原爆が落とされた日。僕はもちろん戦争を経験した事ないですけど、したくもないし、する必要もないです。僕が最近毎日チェックしてるウェブのいくつかを皆さんと共有したいなと思って。もうご存知の方も多いと思いますけど。僕も最近まで全然知らなかった事が沢山紹介されてて興味深いです。知って良かったなーって思います。これらのウェブを書いておられる方々全員に感謝します。『事実は小説よりも奇なり』ってこういう時に使うんですね。地球危うし。

以前このblogにも書いた北京在住のアーティストfm3 のChristiaan VirantとZhang Jianが久しぶりに連絡をくれたので会いに行ってきました。その時にプレゼントとしてくれたのが上のBOX。普段彼らは凄く質の高いアンビエントミュージックを作ってるアーティストなんですけど、なんとこのBOXが彼らの最新アルバム。スピーカ付きのこのBOXには9曲の短いループが収録されていて、横のボタンを一度押すと次の曲にスキップされます。ボリュームも変えれるし、ステレオミニの出力も付いてます。全部で７色。その時に一つはもらったんですけど、でもこれ絶対３個以上あった方が面白いと思ってオレンジと白も購入。夜これを部屋の隅とかに置いて、微妙な音量で流したりしてるんですよ。なんかThe Sine Wave Orchestraのイベントってこんな感じなのかなって思ったんですけど。(S.W.O.の皆、いつも行けなくてゴメン） もう一個買っとけば良かった。Brian Enoも購入済みだとか。今はもうアーティスト活動よりも、このfm3 BOXの生産で忙し過ぎるぐらい売れてるそうです。日本でも売りたいみたいなんですけど、変な法律があって大手のレコードショップでは扱ってもらえないとの事。どなたか日本でのディストリビューションにご興味のある方は、是非fm3にコンタクトしてあげてください。Christiaan,Zhang Jian 謝謝!!
fm3 from Beijing gave me a call when they stopped by Paris during their Europe tour. I think some people already knew about this, but they gave a fm3 BOX as a present. fm3 have been producing really high quality ambient music and i really like their works and I was surprized when they told me that this is one of thier latest releases. This box has speaker, volume change dial, stereo mini out-put and operated by batteries. and also 9 sophisticated songs and you can skip the song with skip button. I really really liked it and bought 2 more :-) I put them randomly in my room and played them very quiet. It was really really great. I thought It might be similar to The Sine Wave Orchestra's performnace. Brian Eno also bought some of them. They sell this at the venue when they perform. Try it when you have a chance to see their performance. Thank you very much Christiaan and Zhang Jian!!
最近天気良いから洗濯物が速く乾くんで良いんですけど、でも暑過ぎる。パリは本来こんなに暑くなる場所じゃなかったって皆言ってます。

最近パリは凄く光が綺麗なんですよ。地球全体では温暖化も確実に進んで、氷河が後退したり、気温の上昇があったり、異常気象があったりしてるけど。とにかくこの日は光が綺麗でした。友人の家の窓から入る夕日の光がミラーボールみたいやったんで、僕の新曲を爆音で流して皆で踊りました。そんな写真をいくつか。3つ目の写真とかデスクトップピクチャに良いかも。英語めっちゃ適当ですんません...
i took those photos at my friend's place. Light from the sunset was like a mirror ball, so i played my latest songs loud and had fun.
７月１４日はフランスの革命記念日で、毎年エッフェル塔近くで花火が上がるんです。今年は友人達と結構近くまで観に行ってきました。あんなに近くで花火を見るのは何年ぶりやろうか。音が凄かった。宇宙みたいでした。鈴鹿にF1を観に行った時の事を思い出した。日本の花火が見たいな。
14th of July is the day of French Bastille Day. They have fire works every year and i went there with my friends. It's been a while to see fire works up close. I really enjoyed it's sound. I wanna see Japanese one again..
最近良く見てるウェブです。国際金融とか全く興味ないけど、世界の動きを知るのに凄く勉強になります。悪い人多いっすね...
昨日フランスがブラジルに勝った事もあって、パリはかなり盛り上がってます。カフェでのサービスも良くなるので嬉しい。ここ最近の写真をいくつか。ちょっとTilmansっぽいのもいくつかあるけど、まあまあ....。
ところで最近天気良いから気持ちいい。あ、そう言えばアルバム完成しました..やっとできました...
France won against Brazil last night, so people are really excited here. It's good because garcons will give us better service than usual at cafe for a while ;-) anyway, here're some recent photos. some of them look a bit like Tilmans thought.. By the way, I've just finished my album a few days ago, but now we have another distribution problem in Europe.. I have no idea now..

それと最近気になったニュース。
早くブッシュ政権の歴史的大嘘が明らかになれば良いなって思います。そうなればそれを黙認してた大手メディアの信頼も崩れさって、新しい時代が来る気がする。それによって日本の政治も見直される時が来るといいけど。でも権力を倒すためにはまた新たな権力が必要で、取って代わったとしてもまた権力に溺れる人たちが出て来て、、人間って未熟っすね。
一般人レベルではネットを介してどんどん国境を超えた文化交流が進んでいるのに、国家レベルではこうやって人種間の境がさらに大きくなってる。変な世の中。自分達が植民地時代に連れて来ておいて、今更用が無いから帰れっていうのもどうかと思う。僕ってフランスにはあんまり役立ってない気がするから、、これから滞在も難しくなるのかな。。でも日本の移民法って世界でも稀に見る人種差別的な法律が多いらしいですね。灯台下暗し... 日本にいる外国人の皆さん、お疲れさまです...

Stop ROKKASHO.orgに僕が提供した曲がアップされました。AIFFも同時にアップしていただくようにお願いしておいたんですが、それはまだ対応してもらえていないようです。今回このアクションを始めるにあたって急遽曲が必要になったので、自分でも気に入ってたけど今の所リリース予定のない既存の曲を１曲提供しました。こういう反対運動ではついつい感情的になってしまってエキサイトしてしまいがちですが、そういう時こそ落ち着いた気持ちで冷静に物事に接して行きたいなって思って、そういう気持ちで今回の曲を選びました。是非聴いてください。同時にiTunes Music Storeでも無料で入手していただけます。こちらも残念ながらmp3.. iTMSがAIFFに対応してないから、、残念やけど、しょうがない。。でもホンマに、、金儲けってどこまで人を狂わすんでしょうか。。国家は企業が動かしているんですね。これを期に現状を知る人たちがもっと増えれば良いなって思ってます。知ってる人が増えるだけで、かなり大きなアクションになると僕は思うんです。

I didn't write English last time, I'm sorry about it. I was a bit tired to translate it. Anyway, Japanese musician Mr.Ryuichi Sakamoto launched Stop ROKKASHO.org in response to the opening of a nuclear reprocessing plant in the village of Rokkasho in Japan. and I joined this too. I'm quite sure that we have some kind of pressure from American government or somewhere, but i think We need to think about this plant very seriously again and judge if we really need this or not. 日本語のウェブもアップ予定です
青森県六ヶ所村にある核燃料再処理施設の本格稼働中止を求めて、坂本龍一さんをはじめ環境問題に関心のある多くのアーティスト達が集まって『Stop ROKKASHO.org』というウェブを作りました。微力ながら僕も参加させていただいています。
僕も最初は原子力による発電はある程度放射能は出るけど、まだクリーンな方やとずっと思ってたんです。でも去年の夏ぐらいに１級プラント配管技能士の平井憲夫さんという方が、97年に亡くなられる前にお書きになられた『原発がどんなものか知ってほしい 』というウェブを読んでからは、自分がどれだけ原発に関して無知だったかを痛感させられて、原発に対する自分の考えを根本から変えざるを得なくなりました。ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、この六ヶ所村にある再処理施設というのは、１日で普通の原発が出す放射能の１年分を出してしまうようなそんな施設なんです。僕も自分には何ができるんかなって結構悩みましたが、何もしないで終わるよりも、とにかく自分ができる何らかの方法でアクションを起こそうって思ってたんです。ちょうどその時に坂本さんからご連絡をいただいて、今回このアクションに参加させていただく事にしました。興味のある方は是非このウェブをチェックしてみてください。今は英語だけですが、これから週ごとに日本語のウェブも含めてアップされる予定です。自分にはまだ子供もいないけど、僕と同じ世代の人たちの子供や孫が大人になる頃には一体この地球はどうなってるのかって考えると、今行動を起こさずにはいられないと思ったんです。毎日自分がやりたい事をやって生活していくには、まずはその土台をしっかりさせなアカンなって思って。
"Bricolages" -CHASM REMIXES- Warner Music Japan
こういう内容のエントリーの時にリリース情報を同時にupするのもどうかと思ったんですけど、僕にとって音楽は今自分ができる最大のアクションの一つやと思っているので、この同じエントリーにリリース情報を書かせていただきます。2004年にリリースされた坂本龍一さんのアルバム『CHASM』のリミックスアルバム、"Bricolages"が５月２４日に日本先行でリリースされる事になりました。僕は『CHASM』の中から"War&Peace"という曲を選びました。自分でもこのREMIXではかなり良い仕事をしたんじゃないかと思ってます。前から何度も言ってるけど、リミックスっていうのは原曲のポテンシャルが高ければ高い程良いものに仕上がると僕は思うんです。この坂本さんの原曲も曲の持つポテンシャルもアイデアも素晴らしい。作曲者へのリスペクトを表す方法として、その原曲をさらに高い位置にまで持って行くというのが僕が常にリミックスの時に心掛けている事の一つなんです。今回はそれがかなり良い位置にまで持って行けたような気がします。是非チェックしてみてください。坂本さん、今回僕にリミックスのチャンスをくださって本当にありがとうございました。勉強になりました。
I don't know if it's a right place to annouce my new releases infomation but, I believe that the music is the only way to express myself, so I'd like to inform you my new release information about REMIX album "Bricolages" of Ryuichi Sakamoto's album called "CHASM" which was released in 2004. You can check some more information on my news. They'll release it in Japan first then in also Europe and US. I'm not really sure exactly when they release it in overseas but I'll let you know as soon as i get information about it. I did quite good job this time, and I really like this REMIX myself because the original song "War&Peace" is really beautiful song. Whenever I do REMIX I always get a lot of help from those original songs. I always try to make them better to show my respect to composers who gave me a chance to remix their works. and this time it worked in really good way. Please check it when you have a chance. I'd like to say thank you very much to Mr.Ryuichi Sakamoto who gave me a chance to remix his work. I learned so many things from it.

今日大阪に帰ってきました。なんか移動ばっかりでちょっと疲れたけど、でもその価値が十分ある充実した数日間でした。１２日に参加させてもらったNIKEのイベントに来てくださった皆さん、ありがとうございました。予想通りかなりアウェイな感じでしたけど、普段僕が出るイベントにはなかなか来てもらえないようなお客さんの前でライヴをさせてもらう事ができて凄く嬉しかった。実際あのテの音楽を初めて聴いた人も多かったみたいで、不評で終わるかなーって思ってたんですけど意外と評判が良くてなんか嬉しかった。僕のライヴの途中で周辺住民方々から苦情が入ったみたいで、ガツンと音量が下がってしまったんです。まあしょうがないので途中でライヴを中断して、最後にQuickTimeで『see that girl』を流してみました。それが結構良かったのかな。まあ楽しかったです。この場をお借りして今回僕にこのチャンスをくださった藤川さん、オーガナイザの皆さん、関係者全員、来てくださった全ての方々と友人達にお礼をお伝えします。ありがとうございました。LIVE reviewsもアップしておきました。
I cama back to Osaka today. I've been moving and traveling around many places in these past few days, so I'm really tired now..But I spent really really good time and now I'm really satisfied with those busy days. By the way, I did LIVE in Ohsaki Tokyo on 12th in NIKE's event, and I enjoyed it very much. and many people told me that they also enjoyed it and that's what i wanted to hear ;-) I'm glad that they enjoyed it too. Unfortunately we got complaint from people who live around the venue and we had to turn it down in the middle of my performance, so I gave up doing LIVE and played "see that girl" at the end like a DJ. I think it worked. Anyway, I'd like to say thank you to Fujikawa-san who gave me a chance to play there this time, and thank you to all the people who came, all my friends, everybody who worked there and organizers. 今回久しぶりに何日か東京に滞在する時間があって、散歩しながら色々と写真を撮ったのでそれをアップしておきます。東京ってほんまに不思議な街。海外に長く住んでるせいか、日本特有な部分が凄くはっきり分かる気がする。ちょっとベタやけど、そんな写真をいくつか。
This time I had some spare time to look around Tokyo after a long time, so I walked around there and took some photos. Now I noticed that Tokyo is really unique city. Maybe I spent quite long time outside of Japan, that's why i think this way thought.. Here are some of my favorite photos from there.
東京の後はそのまま妹が住む長野に行ってきました。小布施っていう街と妹が住む三水っていう所と渋温泉。いずれも素晴らしい環境でした。。また行きたい。日本人で良かった！って再確認できた気がする。
I went to Nagano where my sister lives after Tokyo. I went to Obuse,Samizu and Shibu-Onsen. It was amazing atmosphere.. I wanna go there again..
先日僕が出演させていただいたA.D.podcastingが早くもアップされました。収録の時に３人でかなり盛り上がってしまって収録時間が１時間半ぐらいになってしまったので、３回に分けてアップされるそうです。それの２回目。あともう１回あるみたい。そちらも是非チェックしてみてください。

さすがに久しぶりの二日連続のライヴは結構辛かったけど、大阪でも東京でも今自分ができる最大限のライヴができたと思うし、与えられたチャンスを十分に生かせた気がします。今までPowerBook２台とミキサー、オーディオインターフェイス、MIDIコントローラだけのシンプルなセットでライヴをしてたんですね、でも今回は思い切ってデビュー前ぐらいの機材セットに戻してライヴをやってみたんです。それが結構良い方向に作用したんじゃないかなと思ってます。自分でもやってて楽しかった。お越しいただけた皆さん、ありがとうございました。楽しんでもらえましたでしょうか？また是非ご感想など聞かせてくださいね。この場をお借りして、来てくださった皆さん、イベントに関係した全てのスタッフの方々、今回僕にライヴのチャンスをくださった田中フミヤさん、タロウさんに感謝！ありがとうございました。このライヴの一部抜粋をNao Tokui君とのポッドキャスト『sync podcast』で公開予定です。 そちらも是非！
It was a bit hard to do two shows in two straight nights on 2nd (Osaka) and 3rd (Tokyo) of May for the party called CHaOS which is organized by Japanese techno DJ Fumiya Tanaka who runs op.disc. I think I've done quite good LIVE there this time. I'm quite satisfied with those two shows. I've been using only two PowerBooks, audio mixer and MIDI controler for my LIVE set because I wanted to make it as simple as possible, but this time I use many hardwares after a long interval and I think It worked this time. I enjoyed it very much. I'd like to say thank you very much for all the people who came to see my shows, all the people who worked for this event, and especially Fumiya Tanaka and taro who gave me a chance to perform there. I'm planning to broadcast a part of this LIVE recording at sync podcast with Nao Tokui. Please check it!

今日は京都に行ってきた。天気良かったから最高に気持ちよかった。学生の頃から通ってたお気に入りのラーメン屋でテラゾノ君とオグルス君と３人で昼飯食べて、あまりにも天気が良かったのでしばらく３人で鴨川でボケーっとしてきた。あんな良い時間なかなか無い。あんなに晴れてほんまにラッキーでした。その後テラゾノ君がCSでのココ数戦のF1放送を録画してくれてたのでそのビデオを借りて帰る。地上波のF1放送はイタくて観てられないので、ビデオで一気におさらい。楽しみ。そう言えば今日三条通りでパリでよく会ってた友人と偶然会う。物凄い偶然。ゾノ、オグルス君、ヒットちゃん、アズコ、今日はありがとう。
I visited Kyoto today. It was really really nice weather. I had luch with Kohei Terazono and ogurusu norihide, then we went to Kamo river and spent some time there.

Nao Tokui 君と一緒に近々Podcastingを始める事になりました。今ちょうどその第１回目の収録が終わったところ。今僕は大阪にいて、徳井君はパリにいるので今回はiChatを使ってやってみました。便利な世の中ですねー。今回の収録は近々アップ予定です。しばしお待ちを。 僕もつい最近までpodcastingが何かも知らなかったんですけど、簡単に言えばネットラジオ＆ビデオ放送みたいな感じです。今回は第１回目の収録って事もあってお互いかなりギクシャクしてたけど、まあ何回かやっていくウチにいい感じになれば良いなって思ってます。とりあえず１回目はオーディオで、今後ビデオでのpodacastingも計画中です。
Me and Nao Tokui are going to start podcasting soon. Today we've just finished recording our first podcasting. Now I'm in Osaka, and Nao is in Paris, so we used iChat to do this. We're planning to update every two weeks from now, mainly we're gonna introduce and talk about artists around us, such as musicians or video artists e.t.c. We're plannig to have guests too. ご無沙汰してます。最近あんまり書く事ないのでちょっと滞ってる感じですけど、なんとか話題見つけてアップして行きたいと思ってます。数日前に大阪に帰ってきました。ウチの黒いやつにもまた久しぶりに会えて嬉しい。触りまくってやりました。
It's been a while. I don't have any special news recently, so I'm kind of slow to update now.
I'm back in Osaka again a few days ago. I'm glad that i see my dog again.
いつも帰って来た時に思うんですけど、日本の街の変化って物凄く速いですね。ウチは比較的繁華街から近いのでさらにその傾向が強いのかもしれないけど、散歩してて周りの景色を観てても一瞬自分がどこにいるのか分からなくなるぐらい景色が変わってる場所もあります。街を歩いてる若い人たちの服装まで半年前とはガラっと変わってる。なんか面白いっちゃー面白いけど、その消費量を国全体で考えたら物凄い量やなーって思ったりなんかして。携帯電話のサービスも物凄いですね。ホンキでびっくり。携帯でメイルすらしない僕なんて明らかに時代遅れ。今って携帯でテレビまで観れるんでしょ？ 僕は外にいる時ぐらいはテレビなんて観たくないけど(あ、、でもやっぱりF1だけは観たいかも）、いずれにしてもスゲー。。未来にいるみたい。もう電話じゃないですね。まさに『ケイタイ』っていう新しいマシンみたい。でも機能が増えるのは良いけど、説明書までどんどん分厚くなって、それって退化？それとも進化？って思ったりなんかして。。はー、昨日まで寒かったけど、今日から大阪は暖かくて気持ちいい。散歩しよー。
僕が信頼する友人でありDJのテラゾノ・コウヘイ君が教えてくれた保坂和志さんのウェブがいい感じ。
Whenever I come back in Japan, i always feel like I'm an outsider because so many things in the city are changing really fast. Maybe that's because I live in the middle of the city but sometimes I don't know where i am when I'm walking in my home town. Even the way people look (I mean their clothes, fashionable attire) are different from 6 months ago. it changes really fast too. It's kind of interesting, but.. I don't know, I often have mixed feelings about this kind of things. And now mobile phones are also changing fast. I don't even use e-mail with it ;-) but Now we can watch TV on the phone. and you can do so many other things with it. Is it phone? or something else? In Japan we call mobile phone "KEITAI" , and now "KEITAI" is no longer a phone, I think it's a new machine called "KEITAI".

最近パリはようやく天気の良い日がちらほらと出始めて、外出したくなる気分になれる季節になってきました。今年に入ってから幾つかリミックスとかの仕事をもらったりしたので、家にいる事も自然と多くなって、仕事の合間にウェブを見たりする時間が多かった。（そろそろ外出しても気持ちいい季節になってきたので嬉しい）
最近よく見させてもらってるのが、徳井君とか 何人かの友人達からほぼ同時期に教えてもらった『ビデオニュース.com インターネット放送局』です。最近はスポンサーに支配されたメディアにもう本気でがっかりしてたんですけど、このwebは会員登録制になってて、月額会費525円でスポンサーや政府の圧力のかかっていない真っ当なニュースを見る事ができます。僕も購読してます。そういう時代になったんやなって思いました。月額525円は安い。日本やパリのクラブで飲むドリンク一杯分ぐらいの値段ですよね。それぐらいの出費で真っ当なニュースが毎日見れるんやから、かなり安いと思う。このwebを観てると日本の大手新聞社がやってるwebニュースとかにどれだけスポンサーや政府の圧力がかかっているかが物凄くよく分かって興味深い。このwebは『それが知りたかった！』っていう部分を見せてくれている。物事の真実を知ると結構ヘコんだりする事もあるけど、ヘコんでストレス溜めて体調悪くするんじゃなくて、『知った』からこそできるプラスの行動もあると思うんです。このウェブを見てるとそういう事を考えさせられる。
Recently It's getting warmer in Paris and i often feel like going out and walk in the city. Spring is coming soon. I've been working on some remixes or my new album these days, and I often surf on the net when i have a break. I recently watch "videonews.com (Japanese)" quite often. I've been kind of disappointed by the news from Japanese major NEWS Papers' web which is controlled by sponcers or government. Then some of my friends told me about this web almost at the same time. We need to pay 525 yen (which is approx.3.7Euro) every month to watch this web news(which is not controled by sponcers or government), but It's worth and i think it's cheap. I wonder if there's any web news like this in Europe, America or other countries? I'd like to find some.
先週の日曜日からヨーロッパは夏時間になった。一時間前倒しになったのでその分日没が遅くなる。この季節でもだいたい夜８時ぐらいまで明るくて、前にも何度か書いたけど夏至の辺りになると１０時過ぎまで明るいんです。自然と外出したい気分になるし、街も活気づいて来るので僕は夏時間の期間のヨーロッパが大好きです。日本もPSE法なんてアホみたいな法律作らないで、夏時間を導入すれば良いのに。きっと皆仕事が終わっても外に出るやろうし、色んな事が活性化されて経済も活発になると思うけど。っていうかあのアホ法律、結局色々と変更が入りましたね。そんな事するんやったら最初から作るなアホ。日本の恥や。
うわ〜、、もう３月が終わる。。
あ、そういえば５月のLIVE schedules アップしました。日本で久しぶりにライヴさせてもらいます。しかもCHAOS。ノリノリ以外は考えられません。

I'm terribly sorry for all the people who come to Lovebytes 2006, especially people who's looking forward to my show, and all the people who work for this festival. もう3月なんですね。。最近やっとパリも晴れ間が見えるようになってきて、少し気分も上がってきました。やっぱりヨーロッパの冬は暗くて寒い。。こっちの人が夏に長い休みを取る気持ちが凄く分かるようになりました。
ここ最近は去年から引き続き行っているop.discからのアルバム制作に没頭しています。なかなか難しい。。とにかく今は全力で取り組むしかないと思って、毎日ノリノリで作ってます。
It's already March... It's getting a bit warmer and i see sun light quite often here in Paris these days and i feel much better than before. For us, Winter time in Europe is really hard, Now I understand why Europen people take such a long vacation in the summer time.
Recently I've been still working on my next album on op.disc. It's kind of difficult.. Anyway,I need to work hard as always.
休み時間には近所のお茶屋さんで買った中国茶と僕の親戚が作ってる緑茶を良く飲みます。最近はMao Fengっていうジャスミン茶とプーアル茶がお気に入りです。僕はコーヒーが苦手なんですよね。。コーヒーが好きな人にはこんな事言うと怒られるかもしれへんけど、僕には“焦げたお湯”としか感じられないんです ;-) 多分香ばしいっていう感覚が僕にはあんまり理解できなくて、どうもゴマの香ばしさが僕には限界なのかも（極めて低い限界だと自覚してますけどね）。それ以上は僕に言わせてみればどれも”焦げてる”んです。まあその話はどうでも良いですけど、もっと色んな中国茶をトライしてみたい。それぞれのお茶によって飲み方が違ったり、茶器が違ったりすんですよね。その辺をこれからもっと調べていきたい。良い茶器も欲しいし。
I usually drink Chinese tea or Japanese Green tea which one of my relatives made when i have break. I recently drink Jasmin tea called "Meo Feng" and Pu Er tea quite often. They help me a lot when i want to be relaxed. To be honest I don't like coffee very much.. I'm sure people who loves coffee feel bad if i say this, but for me coffee taste like "burnt hotwater" ;-)
However, I wanna try some more other kinds of chinese tea. I heard that there are a lot of different ways of drinking for each kinds of chinese tea, and also they use different type of tea pots and cups. I need to check those things and want to know more about chinese tea.

2月10,11日にベルギーのHasseltっていう街で行われたfatcat主催のフェスティバルでの写真をLIVE reviewsにアップしておきました。ちょっと遅くなったけど。この場を借りて会場に来てくださったオーディエンスの皆さん、fatcat records、会場となったKunstencentrum BELGIEのスタッフの皆さんにお礼をお伝えします。ありがとうございました。このイベントは正に十人十色って感じで、様々なスタイルを持ったアーティスト達がそれぞれの個性を爆発させてた感じがしました。ほんと色んな人がいるなー、価値観も様々。良い勉強になりました。自分達のライヴはまあまあの結果やったと思います。途中上からビールが落ちて来るっていうハプニングもあったけど、機材にビールがかからなくて良かった。このイベントで４年ぶりにCom.A君に会った! ３人で大爆笑。
そう言えばfatcatのウェブで去年の10月28日にロンドンでやった僕とツジコのライヴ音源が聴けるそうです。右上のプルダウンから"Radio Show"を選択してみてください。あのライヴはまあまあ良かったと思うけど、でもやっぱりライヴ録音ってなんかちょっと恥ずかしい。
I updated the review of fatcat festival in Hasselt Belgium on my LIVE reviews. First of all, I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see our show there, and also thank you to fatcat and all the people who worked for Kunstencentrum BELGIE. There were so many different kinds of musicians there and i enjoyed their differences.
By the way, now you can listen to me and Tujiko's LIVE which was recorded at THE LUMINAIRE in London on 28th of October 2006 on fatcat web. It was not a perfect show but i think it still works. I hope you enjoy it.

以前blogにも少し書きましたけど、ACOの新しいアルバムに僕とACOがやったカヴァー曲が収録されてて、それが2006年2月22日にKi/oon SONY からリリースされるそうです。カヴァーしたのは"The Waitresses"っていうバンドの"I Know What Boys Like"で、いつも通りノリノリな感じに仕上がったと思ってます。”にゃーにゃー”が良い感じ。結構頑張ったので是非チェックしてみてください。
A Japanese female singer ACO is going to release a new album on Japanese major label Ki/oon SONY and I did a cover work on track 3. This will be released on 22nd of February 2006 but Unfortunately as always I don't think this will be distributed in other countries except Japan. The original song "I Know What Boys Like" was composed by the band called "The Waitresses". I made it bit more funky as always. I hope you like it. I love they way ACO sings "nya, nya, nya..."

今日ウェブのニュースで知ったんですが、African-AmericanのShany Davisさんっていう人が黒人で始めてスケートで金メダルを取った。アイススケートとか水泳とかって黒人の選手を全然見ないからよほど差別があるんやろうなって思ってたんですけど、このニュースを聞いてなんか凄く嬉しかった。ヨーロッパでも人種差別を露骨に感じる事が多い。（この記事に関しても、2月19日の時点では英語での記事が見当たらなかった）アジア人も黒人も、頑張って白人の舞台にガッツリ食い込んでいって欲しい。皆お互いを認め合って、それぞれの違いを理解して、もっと自由に表現できる世界になれば良いな。そういえばF1にも黒人ドライバ−はいない。黒人がF1の世界に食い込んでくるようになれば、きっとまた様々な記録が塗り替えられるやろうな。F1にはもっとFUNKが必要やな。日本人も頑張れ！

I found the news which said African-American Mr.Shany Davis got a GOLD medal on speed skate 1000m in TORINO Olympic. This is the first time African-American got GOLD medal on this category. What a great news. I realized that so far I haven't seen any Black people who does ice skate or swimming competition, so was guessing that there might be some color discrimination or something, but i was so glad to hear this news. Unfortunately I couldn't find English news for this( I found it in Japanese). I hope there'll be no color discrimination in any place and we can express themselves freely and respect and udersntad each differences. By the way i don't see any African F1 driver so far either... I'm sure they'll make incredible new records if they come to F1! We need more FUNK in F1 too.

I REMIXed one of my song called "Cover Your Ears" from "indigo rose" in 2004( I don't remember exactly when i did this), and this time i uploaded this song on my web with full-length both AIFF(68.9MB) and MP3(9.5MB) files. You can download them from HERE. I hope you like it. To be honest, I'd really like you to listen to it with AIFF. But I'm sure there are some people who can't download such a big file because of the internet environment, so i also uploaded MP3 too ;-) It's not really the latest song but I quite like it myself. But i didn't have opportunities to release this song so far. １月末からRYOICHI KUROKAWA 君がパリ入りしていたので、二日連続でウチに友人達を集めて夕食を食べました。写真は左から最近仲良くしてもらってるDJのSIMON、先日フランスの映像レーベルlowaveからDVDをリリースしたKawamura Yuki, RYOICHI KUROKAWA 、と僕です。Kawamura Yukiも、黒川君、高木君と同じく大学時代からの友人です。久しぶりに黒川君を含めて皆でバカ騒ぎして面白かった。笑い過ぎて腹筋が切れそうでした。
RYOICHI KUROKAWA came to Paris in the end of January and we had small party at my place two straight nights. You can see in the photo above from left to right, SIMON who does DJ in Paris and i learned a lot of things about hiphop from him recently, Kawamura Yuki who released a DVD works on a French visual label lowave the other day, RYOICHI KUROKAWA and me.

その日にホント久しぶりにざくろを食べた。色がすげー奇麗で、できれば種を取り除いた実だけ５００粒ぐらいボールに入れてスプーンで一気に食べたかったけど、それは無理っぽいので諦めた。残念。前に種を取り除いたアメリカンチェリー１０個ぐらいを一気に食べた事があって、その時は物凄いでかいチェリーを一口で食べた気分がしてなかなか爽快でした。アメリカンチェリーには物凄い量の農薬が付いてるらしいけど、いずれにしてもお試しあれ。
We had rum blossom on that night after a long time. The color was really beautiful. I wanted to eat this without seeds 500 pieces at the same time with a spoon but i had to give up ;-)
Anyway, once i had 10 american cherries without seeds at the same time, and i felt like i ate one huge cherry and it was awesome :-) However you'll also get a lot of agrichemical with those american cherries at the same time but anyway, you should try this.
部屋の外からブーブーとクラクションの音が鳴り響いていたので何かと思って外を見てみると、１台のsmartが２台の車に挟まれて出れなくなってる。後ろのsmartが明らかに悪いんやろうけど、、それにしても何ていう車の止め方。。最近もうこの光景には慣れたけど、最初見た時はびっくりした。どういう神経してあんな止め方するのか分からない。物凄い価値観だと思う。結局真ん中のsmartの持ち主は小１時間ほど挟まれたまま途方に暮れてたけど、僕が気が付いた時にはもういなかった。コレってパリだけの話なのかな、、イタリアでもこういう事ありそう。サンドイッチされたsmartのドライバーには申し訳ないけどコメディーを見てるようで面白かった。それにしても寒い！
I heard honking horns from the street the other day and i saw a sight like photo above. A smart in the middle couldn't go out because of the other smart behind. This happens quite often in Paris but what about other cities in Europe or America? This never happens in Japan, I'm quite sure. I'm sorry for the driver of sandwiched smart, but it was quite fun to see from my window. It's really cold in Paris isn't it??

昨日ブカレストから帰ってきました。僕とツジコノリコのライヴは大成功でした。なかなか良い出来やったと思います。正直言ってルーマニアのブカレストに僕達の事を知ってくれている人達があんなにいるとは思ってなかったので、本当にビビりました。来てくださった皆さん、ありがとう。この場をお借りしてrokolectiveフェスティバルのオーガナイザの皆にも感謝したい。オーディエンスの反応も良くて今回もやってて楽しかった。ツジコノリコの声もあの日は冴えてました。今回ライヴ中の写真を撮ってなかったので、オーガナイザが送ってくれる予定の写真が手に入り次第改めてレヴューを書かせていただきます。それまでしばしお待ちを。MIDIコントローラ持って行くの忘れたのが痛かった。。

I came back from Bucharest yesterday. I think me and noriko did quite good LIVE at there. I really enjoyed it myself and Noriko's voice was really clear, straight and soft as always. I didn't think that people in Bucharest know about us, but some people told me that they were waiting to see our shows and I was really excited when i knew it. so many people talked us after the show and gave us good feed backs. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see our show and also the organizers of rokolective festival. I didn't have time to ask somebody to shoot some photos with my camera, so I'll do the review as soon as i receive some photos from them. Please wait a bit.

先日久しぶりにごっそりまとめてCDを買いました。こっちのCD屋さんって全部試聴できるから、間違ってダメな作品を購入する事がないので凄く良い。今回購入した中でも一番感動したのがEMI classicsからリリースされている Mstislav Rostropovich演奏の"Bach Cello Suites Nos.1, 4&5"。CDとDVDの２枚組でCDの内容はもちろんのこと、DVDに収録されているRostropovichさんの演奏が素晴らしい、美しい、人間って凄い！人間にはこんな素晴らしい事ができるなんて、、ほんと大感動で何度観ても涙ものです。ノリノリで何度も何度も観ました。またちょっと自分のリミッターが一つ外れた気がしたので、また後で観ようと思ってます。この人達と比較されたら、僕なんて自分がミュージシャンだって言うのも恥ずかしい。アカン、もっと頑張ろ。。
I bought quite a lot of CDs the other day, and i was shocked by one of the CDs which is Mstislav Rostropovich's "Bach Cello Suites Nos.1, 4&5" released on EMI classics. This album contains both CD and DVD. Of course I enjoyed the CD very much but more shocking was the DVD. You can see his playing in the huge church and it was incredible, beautiful, and Human beings are soooo great! I couldn't imagine that human beings can play such a beautiful sound... This DVD really moved me. It was soo groovy and i was dancing when i was watching it. I felt like one of my limiter was gone again by watching this DVD. If i could see him by any chance and if he ask me "Are you also a musician?" then i have to say "No.I'm not!"

Radio Franceの企画で2006年３月に予定されているコンサートに半野さんが参加される事になっていて、その下準備として今半野さんはRadio France内にあるスタジオでライヴの準備をされてます。Radio Franceに入る事なんて滅多に無いと思って半野さんに連れて行ってもらいました。半野さん、ありがとうございました。
このイベントでは５０発以上ものスピーカをコンサートホールに設置して、半野さん、池田亮司さん、Pan Sonicなど（他にも沢山）のアーティストがライヴを行うという企画だそうです。しかも無料！! フランス国営ラジオの企画に日本人が二人も食い込んでる。。。なんて誇らしい事やろうと思う。いずれにしてもすげー施設。。３月のコンサートが楽しみです。その時期にパリにおられる方は是非。頑張れ日本人！！
Yoshihiro HANNO will perform at Radio France in March 2006. And now he's been preparing his LIVE set in the studio of Radio France. This time he gave me a chance to visit there. Thank you so much MR.Hanno!
For this event, artists use more than 50 speakers in the concert hall for their performance. There're many great artists are planning to play such as Yoshihiro Hanno, Ryoji Ikeda, Pan Sonic and so on. and it's for FREE! I'm so proud to hear that two Japanese artists are participating for this great event.
I'm really looking forward to see this event. Please check this when you have a chance to visit Paris in this period.
半野さんの制作の為に用意されたハンドメイドのヴィンテージモジュラーシンセ。カッコイイ。。例え音がしょうもなくても（そんな事はないと思いますが）存在がカッコイイ。。他のモジュールも段ボール箱に乱雑に入れてありました（フランス式）。僕もいつか使ってみたい。
It's an old handmade vintage modular synthesizer which is provided for Yoshihiro HANNO. it looks sooo cool.. I wanna try to use it someday...

土曜日は細木さん に誘っていただいてパリの３区と１３区のギャラリー巡り。細木さんは僕にとってパリのアート先生です。細木さん、ありがとうございました！ この日は冬のパリには珍しく一日中快晴で、昼から日没まで細木さんに先導していただいて沢山のエキシビションを観て来ました。前にも書いたけど、ヨーロッパではアートの敷居が日本と比べて低い。各国の主要都市には必ずと言って良いほど国立の現代美術館があるし、展示の内容はどうであれそこにはまさに老若男女を問わず様々な人達が日常的にアートに触れている。大阪で生まれ育った僕にはヨーロッパでのアートの身近さが物凄く刺激的なものやったし、今でも日々アートに触れる事によって自分のリミッターがどんどん外れて行くのを実感しています。正直言ってフランスで良しとされているアートは僕にはちょっと受け入れ難いものが多いけど。。
Mr.Yoshinori Hosoki who's working as an artist in Paris took me to Gallery tour on Saturday. This time we mainly visited 3rd and 13th arrondissements from noon until evening. Mr.Hosoki is one of my art teachers in Paris and I'm always asking him questions about art. But to be honest.. I don't really appreciate French contemporary art at the moment though..
ヨーロッパでは日本と違ってアートシーンが国や企業のサポートをバッチリ受けていて、その国のアーティストにとっては物凄く恵まれた環境だと思う。ただヨーロッパのアーティストでも、その恵まれた環境を利用して面白い事をしている人は少ないように感じます。恵まれ過ぎているというか、、『何とかして今の状況を打破したい！』っていう熱い感じが伝わって来ないものが多い。細木さん曰く、その点そういう環境に恵まれていない日本のアーティストが実は今面白いとか。まさに一長一短。Electronic Musicにも同じ事が言えるんじゃないでしょうか。これからの日本のアート＆ Electronic Musicシーンが凄く楽しみ。先日半野さんが聴かせてくれたop.discからリリース予定の新人アーティストの作品も凄く良かった。僕ももっと頑張って世界のElectronic Musicシーンにガッツリ食い込んで行きたいし、世界が日本のシーンを無視できないぐらいにまで皆で何とか持って行きたい。アカン、もっと頑張ろ。
I think Europe has much better situation for art, most of the goverments are helping and supporting artists and galleries, and artists have a lot of places and platforms to express themselves. But i feel that this situation doesn't really work in the good way to bring up new talented people.(maybe I'm wrong but this is what i felt) This might be too strong to say but i can say that it is overprotected. However I also can say that Every system has some drawback and advantage. On the other hand, Japanese artist have quite difficult situation. We don't have enough support, galleries and museums compare to Europe. Mr.Hosoki told me that this Japanese hard situation help to bring new enthusiastic artis now. I think i can tell the same thing in Japanese electronic music scene too. We have really difficult situation for Japanese electronic musicians(I'm sure that musicians from oversea doesn't really believe it, because they've been treated really nice when they come to Japan), but i know so many talented Japanese people there too. We're gonna make Japanese electronic music scene bigger and I'm sure that you'll find those talented people in electronic music scene in Europe in the near future. And I'd like to be one of them too. I'm doing my best.

皆さん、明けました。去年は自分でも何をしたのかよく分からないぐらいホントにあっという間に過ぎ去ってしまいました。今年は去年以上にさらに上を見て活動して行きたいと思ってます。今年もどうか皆さんの応援を宜しくお願いします。
フランスでは日本みたいに年初めの休みみたいなのはあんまりなくて、みんな１月２日ぐらいから普通に働き始めるんです。僕も何となくそれに合わせて昨日から作業を再開しています。ココ最近は去年からの引き続きで二つのリミックスを同時に行ってます。一つはMasayuki Tsuboguchi TRIOというジャズバンドの曲で、もう一つは坂本龍一さんのリミックスです。どちらもかなり手強くてやり甲斐があります。楽しい。それ以外にもop.discからリリース予定のアルバムとか、いくつか作業を同時に進めていて、年の初めとしてはなかなか幸先の良いスタートかな。上記作品のリリース情報はまた改めてお知らせします。楽しみにしててくださいね。
Happy New Year. Thanks for checking this web from the beginning of year 2006. 2005 wet away extremely fast and I don't even remember what i did.. however I'd like to have more opportunities to perform in Europe, North America and other counties in 2006. Anyway, we Japanese basically spend time with family in new year's days at home, and don't work until around 3rd of January(I don't know if you believe it or not but we Japanese do have holidays too ;-)), but this time I'm in Paris and i start working on my music from 2nd of January as most of the French people do. Now I'm working on two remix at the same time, one is a song from "Masayuki Tsuboguchi TRIO" which is Japanese Jazz band and another one is a song from Ryuichi Sakamoto . Both remix are really challenging, and I'm having really exciting moment when I'm working on them. I'm also working on other works at the same time such as my new album coming soon on a Japanese new label op.disc. I'll let you know about them soon on this web, so please check it when you have time.

昨日はNao Tokui 君の家でパーティーがあったので皆で行ってきました。DJは最近知り合ったSimon君と主催者の徳井君、なかなか贅沢な組み合わせ。夕食も美味しかったし、音楽も楽しめた。徳井君、ありがとう。
そんな僕は最近２つのリミックス作業を同時にこなしてます。どちらも原曲がなかなか手強いので苦労してます。リミックスってホントに音楽の良い勉強になるんです。原曲をバラせばバラすほど作曲者がその曲に込めたポイントが見えてくる。あとはそこを上手く僕なりにアレンジしていくとリミックスは完成です。僕はホントにいつも原曲に助けられています。
Last night we went to the party at Nao Tokui's place. He's a musician who released his work on op.disc and also a programmer. He's now building his own software for his art project. I'm looking forward to it. Nao and Simon did DJ this evening. food was good, music was good and everything was perfect. Thanks Nao.
And now I'm working on 2 remix works at the same time. I'll let you know about them when it's ready, so please wait a bit.

いよいよop.discのショウケイスが 今日（気分的には明日）に迫りました。ここ数日は２日（大阪SUNSUI)、３日（東京UNIT)、４日（Appleストア福岡）でのライヴの準備に没頭していました。。ちょっと疲れたな、今日はこれぐらいにして寝よう。ご都合の宜しい方は是非お友達を誘って遊びに来てくださいね。あれだけのメンバーが集まる事もそう滅多にないと思います。僕もみんなに負けないように全力で頑張ります。久しぶりの東京でのライヴなのでそれも楽しみです。ノリノリで行こ。皆さんもノリノリで来てくださいね。
Now we have the first showcase of op.disc in Osaka at SUNSUI tomorrow. we have another one on 3rd at the venue called UNIT in Daikanyama Tokyo too. I also have another show at Apple Store in Fukuoka after those two showcase of op.disc.. I've been working on preparing those shows these days.. and I'm kind of exhausted... However I'll do my best for those shows as always, so Please come when you have a chance. I hope we can visit where you live and have this showcase there someday in the near future.

先日お伝えしたBBC RADIO ONEの企画の放送日が決定しましたのでお知らせします。

２５日に恵比寿ガーデンプレイスで行われたLaur Meyrieuxのインスタレーション のオープニングイベントに参加させていただきました。この機会を与えてくれたLaurと、映像担当のVirginie Lavey、それにこのイベントの実現に関わったすべての方に感謝します。ありがとうございました。音楽は自分でもかなり満足のいく作品になりました。これから１２月２５日まで毎日17:30と19:00の２回、僕の音楽がLaurの作品の一部として流されることになっています。
I visited Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo on 25th of November to participate the opening event of the Laur Meyrieux's installation(sorry, this web is written only in Japanese). I'd like to say thank you to Laur who gave me a chance to join this work, and to Virginie Lavey who made video works for this installation, and also all the people who worked for this event. I'm satisfied with my work for this time. Please visit there when you have a chance. The music is playing with her installation at 17:30 and 19:00 everyday until 25th of December.

先月The Beatlesの"White Album"に収録されている"I will"をカヴァーする機会をいただいて、やっと今日それが仕上がりました。これはジョン・レノン没後２５年のイベントとしてBBC Radio One が企画したもので、この僕のカヴァー曲は" One World "という番組で他のアーティスト達のカヴァー曲と一緒に近日放送されるそうです。The Beatlesのカヴァーをするなんて機会もこれが最初で最後だろうと思って思い切って引き受けたんですが、、コレがまた難しかった。。いい勉強になったし出来る限りの事はやりました。久しぶりにスゲー歌いました。詳細が分かり次第アップさせていただきますね。
I got a great opportunity to cover a song called "i will" which is included in "White Album", and I've just finished it today. This was planned by BBC Radio One, and this song will be broadcasted with other artists' works on " One World " the week of the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's death. Anyway.. It was a really challenging work. Really difficult. But I learned a lot from this project especially about the structure of the pop music. I did my best and i sang a lot..
友人でもあるフランス人アーティストLAUR MEYRIEUXからの依頼で、11月24日から1ヶ月間恵比寿ガーデンプレイスで行われる彼女のインスタレーション（L'ULTIMO BACIOというイベント期間内に展示されます ）用の音楽を作らせていただきました。僕も11月25日に予定されているオープニングセレモニーにも参加します。機会があったら是非チェックしてみてくださいね。野外でのインスタレーションなので上手く鳴ってくれるかどうか不安なんですが、、自分でも満足のいく作品になりました。
I got an offer from a French artist LAUR MEYRIEUX, who is also a friend of mine, to make a song for her art work (installation) during the event called L'ULTIMO BACIO. It's been a while. It's getting colder and colder here in Paris. To be honest I prefer Japanese winter time. I don't know if you know it but We have much more sunshine than Europe in this season. Anyway, I've been working on some works to do in my studio after coming back from London. It's gonna be really busy for me in the end of this year. I'll keep updating my web, so please check it when you have time. and also I've just updated my LIVE schedules of December 2005. 日本ではフランス国内で広がっている暴動に関してのニュースがかなり報道されているみたいですね。先日の夜散歩してる時に物々しく武装した警察隊がリパブリック広場を封鎖していたのを見かけました。どうもその時に車が数台燃やされたみたいです。
どの西洋諸国でも同じだと思うけど、フランスでも移民の人達（主に白人以外の人達）に対する様々な形での差別が存在しています。それらに対する皆のフラストレーションがそろそろ限界に近くなってるのかもしれない。僕もパリを含めたヨーロッパの主要都市にいる時にはいつも白人とそれ以外の人種との生活水準の差を強く感じます。欧米諸国での貧富の差は日本のそれとは全く比べ物にならない。。平等じゃないのが当たり前なのかな。難しい問題ですね。

いよいよ明日が発表初日です。３週間という非常に短い制作期間でしたが、その期間内で今自分ができる最高の仕事をしたつもりですし、今はその充実感で一杯です。明日からの公演が楽しみです。
At last we're going to have the first show on tomorrow evening.. Now I'm quite satisfied with what we've done in those 3 weeks. It was a bit short time to finish a theater piece but we've done our best for this work. I'm looking forward to the show now.
今回の滞在中に色々とライヴセットを試してみて、最終的に上の写真のようなセットになりました。ミキサーにはMIDASの16トラックのアナログミキサー、その右横に見えるのがYAMAHA SREV1（サンプリングリバーブ）、メインマシンにPowerMac G4 dual 1.4GHzを使用して、Logic7をインストールしています。PowerBookにはMAX/mspが起動していて、Logicで流すオケに音を足していく感じで使用します。オーディオインターフェイスにはRME Hammerfall DSP Multifaceを２台使用。Logic7からHammerfall経由で８トラックをパラアウトして、それをMIDASのミキサーに立ち上げています。今回初めてMIDASのミキサーとYAMAHA SREV1を使用したんですが、この二つの機材のポテンシャルには本当に驚かされました。。特にSREV1の音質、扱いやすさには脱帽です。ライヴ用には設計されていないだろうけれど、リアルタイムに複数のパラメータを変化させる事ができて、更に音質にも妥協が感じられない。僕にとってライヴ用としてホントに文句のつけようのないマシンです。コレ欲しい。今回作曲の段階の音源にはKORG TRITON extremeとKORG Z1を使用しました。KORGさん、ありがとうございました。
I tried some setups for my LIVE set for this project, and finally I decided to use those equipments. I use 16 tracks analog mixer from MIDAS, and you can see a controller of YAMAHA SRE1(sampling reverb). and PowerMac G4 dual 1.4GHz for a main machine and I installed Logic7 on it and MAX/msp on the PowerBook. And I use two RME Hammerfall DSP multifaces for those two computers as audio interface. This time I was impressed by MIDAS mixer and YAHAMA SREV1 which i've used for the first time. Especially SREV1 has incredible sound quality and operability. I don't think this was designed for LIVE performance, but even if i change a lot of parameters in real time, it still keeps great sound quality. I really wanna get this someday.
This time I use KORG TRITON extreme and KORG Z1 for production. Thank you very much KORG.

残り一週間を切ったところで制作の場所であったstudio Bから本番を行うstudio Aへ引っ越し。今まで『作る』という方向で集中していた自分の意識を、徐々に『発表する』という方向に向けています。３週間という非常に短い時間の中で制作し完成させるというプレッシャーもあって最初はかなり不安な時期もありましたが、今はJean, 松本さん、僕の３人は正しい方向に向かっているという実感を持って作業に没頭しています。残された時間は決して多くはないけど、これからは出来る限りクオリティをあげる作業に集中したいと思ってます。発表が待ち遠しい。
We moved to studio A(where we're going perform) from studio B(where we were working). Now we have 5 days to go. I had been concentrated on "making our new work" since i came here, and now I feel that it's time to change my mind to "perform our new work" in front of the audiences. To be honest, I was a bit worried about this project because we only have 3 weeks for production and i was under pressure a bit. However now we all (Jean-Baptiste, Noriko Matsumoto and me) feel that we're moving in the right direction and have been concentrationg on each works to make it better as much as possible. I'm really looking forward to the day we have our show.

昨日の夕方にちょっと落ち着いて休憩できる時間があったのでYCAM前の中央公園で休憩。この公園大好き。太陽の光と風の雰囲気がいつの間にか秋になっててびっくりした。朝から夜まで日の光の入らないスタジオで作業していた事もあって、全く気付かなかった。
Autumn was already here. Usually We've been working in the studio where we never have sun light, so I didn't even realized that it was alredy here. Sun light and wind from summer time were no longer exist here in Yamaguchi.
佐藤琢磨選手、昨日のブラジルGP頑張ってましたね。これで鈴鹿の予選出走順位も悪くないし、いい結果が出せるんじゃないでしょうか。それにしてもHONDAが彼を手放したのを知った時は悔しかった。。今でも悔しい、自分の事のように悔しい。。 それにしてもアロンソ凄い。。
そう言えばtraksyに先月ベルリンで行ったop.disc showcaseのレヴューがアップされたみたいです。是非チェックしてみてください。また今僕が携わっているこのHidden Faces のwork dialyも定期的にアップされています。そちらも是非。

YCAMで制作を初めてからもう５日目が終わりました。一緒に制作しているアーティストの二人(Jean-Baptiste Andre + Noriko Matsumoto)は言うまでもなく、制作環境もスタッフの皆さんのサポートも完璧で言う事ないぐらい刺激的な毎日です。初日から制作に使用していたStudio Bの両サイドのカーテンを、後ろの端まで延長してもらった事によって部屋の残響が少なくなってかなり作りやすくなりました。本番で使用するstudio Aはさらにデッドな感じなので、最終的なミックスは２６日にstudio Aに入ってからにする事にしました。毎日がかなりチャレンジングです。。今まで自分がどれだけ自由にワガママに作業してたかを痛感します。。
I can't believe that I already spent 5 days here in YCAM. There's nothing to say about two other talented artists (Jean-Baptiste Andre + Noriko Matsumoto)who's working with me for this project, and also I have really confortable time in here because of this incredible atmosphere of YCAM and so much support by all the staffs who works here. It's been really exciting so far. Two days ago they put the huge curtain on the both side of the wall of this huge studio B and I got much better ambience to make sound than before. When we do the show, the venue will be the place called studio A, and they told me that there's almost no room reverb in that room. so I decided to do the final mixing after we move there on 26th. Everything has been really challenging for me since I came here, and now I'm really exicited. I'm looking forward to the shows.
今日の夜は最後にスタッフの皆さんも含めてミーティング。思ったより時間が過ぎるのが速いので、僕は個人的に焦ってます。とりあえず今やれる事を出来る限りやるしかない。頑張ります。

It's been a while. Now I'm staying at the place called YCAM in Yamaguchi prefecture to work with a French Contemporary dancer Jean-Baptiste Andre(JBA) and a Japanese visual artist Noriko Matsumoto to make a theater piece. We're going to stay this great place for 3 weeks. We're going to have 4 shows in Japan ,1st and 2nd of October at YCAM and 8th and 9th of October at Morishita studio in Tokyo. I'd like to say thank you to all the people at YCAM who gave me a chance to work in such an incredible place and also thank you to JBA and Noriko Matsumoto. 今回の自分のセットです。KORGからTRITONを貸していただきました。KORGさん、ありがとうございました。それとHammerFall DSP multifaceが３台!!夢のよう。。今日が作業の初日で、早速TRITONを音源として使用させてもらいました。まだドラフト状態ですけど、なかなか良い感じの曲ができたと思います。僕は以前からコンテンポラリーダンス用の音楽を作るのが一つの目標だったので、今回このチャンスを与えていただいて本当に嬉しかった。今から３週間はこの素晴らしい設備の中で、JBAと松本さんと一緒に素晴らしい作品を作りたいと思っています。YCAMは皆さんのお住まいの場所からは少し遠いかもしれないけど、十分足を運ぶ価値のある場所だと思います。機会があれば是非お越し下さい。
This is my set for this project. This time KORG gave a chance to use the brand-new TRITON. Thank you very much. It was the first day of our project today, but I think I made quit good draft work with this. I'm quite happy about it. and also I'm using 3 HammerFall DSP multifaces at the same time!! It's like a dream..
Actually, making music for Contemporary dance is one of my dream and I was so glad when YCAM told me about this project. 僕もずっと大阪で生まれ育ったので、今までこの街の景色がどれぐらい凄いのか今まで全然気付かなかった。よく見るとすげーですね。。リドリー・スコット監督が『ブレードランナー』のセットをあんな感じに作った気持ちが今は凄く理解できる気がします。最近のあの人の映画にはあまり共感できないですけど。
I haven't been noticed that how unusual these sights are until now, because i was born and raised in this city Osaka. Now a second look confirms that it is really unusual sight. interesting. Now I understand why Ridley Scott made such film set in his movie "Blade Runner". I don't really empathize with his recent works though.

先日栃木県の那須塩原に生まれて初めて行ってきました。那須はパリで知り合った僕達の親友のヨッちゃんと雪枝ちゃんの地元で、今回は二人がお薦めしてくれた北温泉に行くのがメインの目的でした。二人はその他にも僕達を素晴らしい場所に色々と連れて行ってくれて本当に感動的でした。東京でベコベコにヘコんだ僕でしたけど、今回二人のおかげで更にパワーアップした気分です。ヨッちゃん雪枝ちゃん、ありがとう！雪枝ちゃんはアーティストでもあって、僕のサイトのimages でも彼女の作品をチェックしていただけます。是非どうぞ。９月17日から２５日まで、那須の黒磯にあるcafe shozoで彼女の個展も開かれます。そちらも是非。行く価値あり。
A few days ago, I went to the place called Nasu-Shiobara in Tochigi-prefecture for the first time. One of my best friends Yo-chan and Yukie are from this beautiful city and they took me to the special natural hot spring called KITA-onsen. They also took me to some more really nice places and i was so excited and spent really really good time there. Thank you Yo-chan and Yukie-chan. Yukie is also an artist and I put some of her works on images on my web. Please check it when you have time. She is going to have her exhibition from 17th of September at cafe shozo in Nasu. 今回二人が連れて行ってくれた北温泉。台風が近づいていた事もあって霧が凄くてずっと雨でしたけど、宿泊客も殆どいなくてそれがまた良かった。『千と千尋の神隠し』みたいな場所。皆で大興奮。
This is KITA-onsen where Yo-chan and Yukie took me. A strong typhoon was approaching this area when we got there and it was raining all day long. However, this brought us a better situation. Almost no one there in this natural hot spring :-) I felt like i was in a movie by Hayao Miyazaki's "Spirited Away".
雨と凄い霧の中で皆で温泉プールに。こんなん初めて。。めちゃめちゃめちゃめちゃめちゃ楽しかった。
We took an open-air hot spring. I've never had this before.. It was really really really really nice.
江戸時代からほぼ変わってないっていう北温泉の食堂。カラオケマシンが異質でしたけど、それ以外は最高。
This is a place for eating in KITA-onsen. This room has not been changed it's atmosphere since almost 200 years ago from Edo era. There was a Karaoke machine there and it didn't fit this place very much.
食事の後に二人が黒磯にあるcafe shozoに連れて行ってくれました。本物発見。都心から無くなりつつある本物は地方にばっちり存在している。チーズケーキ最高。参った。
They took me to cafe shozo in Kuroiso after the dinner. It was really nice place. They have perfect cheese cake. When you visit Japan, please go country sinde. This is real Japan.
寝ている間に台風が去ってくれて翌日は空気が凄く気持ちよかった。東京に帰る前にshozo cafeの那須店に連れて行ってくれました。このお店も申し分無い。
The typhoon went away when i was sleeping. They took me to another shozo cafe in Nasu next morning before i went back to Tokyo. This cafe was also really nice. Nothing to say.

昨日から大阪に帰ってきました。ウチの愛犬も年齢のせいかかなり落ち着いてきて、ちょっとパワーダウン。でも相変わらず可愛い。。久しぶりに会えて良かった。
犬の散歩中に実家の近くで見た夕日が奇麗だった。大阪の夕日もまだまだ捨てたもんじゃない。ちょっと希望が持てました。今回東京での滞在ではDSSRの本間夫妻に大変お世話になりました！ありがとう！

We had the fist showcase of op.disc on 13th of August at Watergate in Berlin. This label was launched by RADIQ aka Yoshihiro HANNO and Fumiya Tanaka and they'll be distributed in Europe soon. More than 600 people came to this show and i think it was a great success. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to this show and all the people from KOIKLUB who organized this event. Thank you so much. I'm planning to review this on my LIVE reviews soon. Please check it when you have time.
東京に来てすぐにSound&Recording誌に僕とツジコノリコのインタビューを取っていただきました。ありがとうございました。今回僕とノリPのスケジュールがどうしても合わなくて、残念ながら二人でのライヴは９月３日に予定されている心斎橋Tower Recordsでのインストアライヴ1回だけでした。。今回のインストアでは無理でしたけど、中途半端な状態でライヴをしたくなかったし、もしライヴが実現するとしたらちゃんとバンドスタイルでライヴをしたいと思っています。いつかそういう機会があれば良いな。
As soon as i arrived at Tokyo, me and Noriko had an interview of a Japanese progessional audio&music magazine called Sound&Recording. Thank you so much. Unfortunately we only have one LIVE show in Japan as AOKI takamasa + Tujiko Noriko at Tower Records in Shisaibashi Osaka on 3rd of September. I hope we have some more shows in Europe soon. 先日葉山の友人宅へお邪魔してきました。ARさん、Aちゃん、お世話になりました！その友人が飼っている犬達が本当に可愛い。。上の写真はそのウチの一人CHちゃん。可愛い。。。東京でヘコんだ分葉山で思いっきり癒されました。

無事引っ越しも終わってやっと落ち着きました。新しい部屋もなかなか良い感じで、これからの作品にも良い影響がありそう。自分でも楽しみです。
明日はフランスの革命記念日の14 Juillet 。今日はその前夜祭ってことで（多分）、新しい家の近所にあるバスティーユ広場を大胆に通行止めにして、さらにどデカいステージとサウンドシステムをセットして、夜８時過ぎから夜遅くまで大ブラジル音楽大会でした。今年はフランスでのブラジル年、あんまり意味分からんですけどそうみたいです。それでブラジル音楽大会。凄い人の数でしたよ、フランス人のラテンの血が大ブレイクしてるのを感じました。こんなイベントができるフランスっていう国は凄い。みんな楽しそう。フランス人は色々適当な所も多いけど、こういう時に国民皆が本気で楽しめるって凄く良い事だと思うんです。
It's "14 Juillet" which is called "Bastille Day" tomorrow in France and today they had a huge Brazilian music event at Bastille. Why Brazilian?,That's because it is Brazilian year here in France which i don't know why either ;-) Anyway when i get there, the whole Bastille Place was blocked and there were so many people there. They also had a huge stage and soud systems too. I quite liked it. It was good to hear Brazilian music outside under the beautiful sky in the comfortable evening. Unfortunately but I'm quite sure that this hardly happens in Japan.. It's a bit sad though.
心地良い夜に野外でブラジル音楽を聴くって良いですね。しかも街の中心部。周りのフランス人と同じく僕もノリノリで踊りました。老若男女人＆人種も入り交じって皆でノリノリ。素晴らしい。あの規模のイベントにしては音が良かった。
ロンドンでのテロの影響やろうと思うんですが、ライヴの最中にBastille広場にあるオペラ座の上に特殊部隊らしき人達がいました。広場の周りにも結構武装した機動隊が多く待機してました。もうこうなったら先進国のどの街でテロがあっても全然おかしくないですね。
I saw some police men on the top of the Opera Bastille in the middle of the show.
そしたらブラジルのルラ大統領が突然ステージに登場。重装備の警官隊が必要なのもうなずける。熱くスピーチした後にオーディエンスを煽って帰っていきました。ラテンってすげー。皆熱いし楽しそう。大阪人ってラテン系やと思うんですけど、どないでしょうか。
Then suddenly the President of Brazil Mr.Lula came on the stage. I agree with those armed police men now.That's why i saw so many armed people there. He set the audience alight then went home. I saw people were excited very much. This also never happens in Japan. I really love this way.
新しい部屋のセットアップはこんな感じにしてみました。引っ越し後初の仕事はACOの次のアルバム用のカヴァー曲でした。なかなかポップで良い感じに仕上がったと思います。また詳しい情報は後々アップさせていただきます。
I set up like this this time. The first job at this studio is a cover work for Japanese female singer ACO's next album. I'll inform you about this as soon as i got news from them. I quite like it. I hope people who lives outside of Japan can have a chance to listen to this.
半野さんちのMも新しい家を気に入ったみたいです。ずっと床なめてる、なんで？

しばらくエントリーを書けなくてすいませんでした。７月５日に引っ越しを始めてから今日ようやく新しい家に完全に移動できました。引っ越しを手伝ってくれた皆、ありがとう！ 新しい部屋はある程度片付いたけどまだネットも来てないしこれからやる事が沢山あります、、。今は日本に帰っておられる半野さんの家を使わせていただいてネットしてます。半野さんありがとうございます。という事で今からしばらくは以前のように頻繁にblogをアップできなくなりますが、頑張ってできるだけアップしますのでどうかご理解ください。新しい部屋もかなり心地いいので、作品にも良い感じで影響してくれると良いけど。上は今預かってる半野さんの犬です。良い子です。
It's been a while. I've just moved to my new apartment (thank you so much for your help my friends!) some days ago and I haven't had a time to write this blog very much since then.. I still don't have internet in my new room, so now I'm using Mr.Yoshihiro Hanno's apartment to use network. Thank you Mr.Hanno. Now He's in Japan at the moment.
So, I think i can't update this blog very often until i get internet. But I'll try as much as i can, so please stay tune as usual. I really like my new room. It's really comfortable room and i hope I have a positive effect on my works from now. It's Mr.Hanno's dog. She's a good dog.

I'm gonna move to the another apartment in Paris soon, so I'm gonna miss this suset.. However the new appartment is also really nice so I'm really looking forward to it. It's gonna be busy this weekend.

先日発売されたばかりの僕の新しい12inchがONEOWNER RECORDS から送られてきました。自分の作品でこういうちゃんとしたアートワークのついたアナログって久しぶりやったので、ちょっと感動。文字が少しデカかったかなーって思いましたけど、カラフルで良い感じですね。Mizutaniさん、Isayamaさん、ご協力ありがとうございました！ プレイヤー持ってないからまだ聴けてない。
I received my new 12ich Vinyl from ONEOWNER RECORDS a few days ago. It's been a quite long time since i released a 12inch with full cover art work, so I was a bit excited when i saw them this time. Maybe the size of the typography was a bit too big, but i still like they way it looks.I haven't got the analog player here so haven't checked it yet. I'm looking forward to it.
最近ハマりまくってる近所のベトナム料理屋さんのBobun。日本語で何て言う料理か知らないので上手く説明できないんですけど、最近よくこれをtake awayで持ち帰って、ミントをエクストラで沢山乗せてジャスミンティーと一緒に食べるんです。最高。
Recently I have this bobun very often. I always ask them to pack for take away and add some more mint and have it with Jasmin tea. It is very nice.

昨日は雨でしたけどココ最近パリは連日の晴れ過ぎ。でも影に入るとちょっと寒い。深刻な水不足だそうです。
We had rain yesterday for a whole day but normally it is extremely fine these days. I heard that we have quite serious water shortage here in France.
近所のショップのT君にまた会ってきました。可愛い。。
昨日は半年ぶりに澤さん がパリに来られたので、細木さん やHome Roomの面々で食事に。世界中を飛び回って物凄い人達と会いまくってる澤さんの話はいつ聞いても面白い。パリに来る前もベネチアにいて『この後はどうするんですか？』って聞いたら『この後はバルセロナ、ロンドン、ほんで？？？？＄＄＃＃(途中覚えてないです）に行って７月にインド』って仰ってました。
で、その店の子牛のタルタルを焼いたやつにルッコラのサラダとパルメザンチーズ。普段牛肉は全然食べないんですけど、これ美味かったです。子牛可愛そうやけど、ガッツリいただきました。他の皆の料理もめっちゃ美味そうでした。
最近友人の教えていただいたんですけど、コレめっちゃ欲しい。。いつかこんなの部屋に置いて遊べるようになりたい。

今日は友人からの紹介で16mmのTV用短編映画のエキストラのお手伝いをしてきました。今まで友人の河村勇樹 がやってる自主制作映画の手伝いをした事はあったけど、こういうある程度本格的な撮影に参加したのは初めてやったのでかなり楽しかった。パリにある日本の本屋さんの中に沢山の撮影機材を運び込んでの撮影でした。皆すげー楽しそう。映画って観る方にも撮る方にも中毒性がありますよね。。半野さんからホウ・シャオシェン監督やジャ・ジャンクー監督の映画の撮影話を教えてもらったり、北野武監督のDollsに出演されていた西島秀俊さんや、甲斐田祐輔監督（この二人は映画の話しかしない（笑））、それに上記の河村勇樹からも色々と映画のお話を直接聞かせてもらう事ができるようになって以来、僕もどっぷり映画中毒になってしまったみたい。毎回日本に帰るたびに物凄い量のDVDを買ってしまうし、パリに来てからは毎週かなりの映画を観るようになりました。あー、映画観たい。ここ最近打ちのめされたのはテオ・アンゲロプロス監督の作品ですね。。どれも凄い。。どう凄いかをココで書くとえらく長くなってしまいそうですので止めておきますね。最近までちゃんと知らなかったのがホント恥ずかしいぐらいです。今はツジコノリコが作ってる短編映画用の彼女の曲のミックスもやってます。それも楽しみ。
One of my friends asked me to play as an extra for a 16mm short film for TV program and i went to a Japanese book shop in Paris for this shooting today. I've ever helped my friend's movies before a few times but I've never had an opportunity to join this kind of real movie before, so it was a quite exciting experience this time. They brought a lot of equipments for shooting in a small book shop and so many people were working on their own jobs. I think movies are quite addictive for both film makers and also audiences. Since i had a chance to hear some stories from Yoshihiro Hanno about some Chinese movie directors like Hou Hsiao-Hsien and Jia Zhang Ke, and also I've met and heard some stories about Takeshi Kitano's movie "Dolls" from Mr.Hidetoshi Nishijima who played the main charactor on this film.. I've been totally addicted into movies.. hhmm I wanna watch movies.. Now I'm doing mixing work for tujiko noriko's songs for her own short movie. I'm looking forward to it too.
最近パリは天気が良いのよく散歩するんです。その時に出会ったニクイやつらの写真をアップしておきます。皆可愛いかったですよ。

パリもすっかり初夏の感じです。今日は昼間にちょっと雨も降ったけど、基本的には涼しくて過ごしやすい日でした。夕方からはパリの南にあるCite Universitaireという所に、徳井君がアーティストのTakumi ENDOさんと一緒に共同で始めるアートプロジェクトのオープニングパーティーに行ってきました。共通の友人達や今日初めてお会いする人達と一緒に楽しい時間を過ごせて良かったなー。徳井君と遠藤さんのプロジェクトも楽しみ。
Recently it's getting like summer here in Paris day by day. We had rain a bit today, but I really enjoy this weather. From the evening, I went to the opening party of the new art project by Nao Tokui and Takumi ENDO at the place called Cite Universitaire in the southern part of Paris. I spent really good time with my friends and I met some nice people for the first time there too. I'm looking forward to their project.
DJやってみたいけどレコードも全然持ってないしターンテーブルも持ってないから。。昔大学の学祭で一回やった事あるけど、ステージでDJしながらノリノリで踊り過ぎて針が飛んだなー。フミヤさんとか徳井君とかテラゾノ君とか見てたら、どうも僕には無理っぽい。
凄く感じの良い部屋でした。遠藤さん、お邪魔しましたー。
昨日からまたしばらく半野さんの犬を預かる事になりました。このコは凄く賢くておとなしい。ウチの実家の犬にもちょっとそういう所を見習って欲しい。。
以前このblogでもご紹介した僕の新しい12inchの発売日が６月１７日に改めて決定しました。皆さんには大変ご迷惑をおかけして申し訳ありませんでした。まだまだ未熟な部分も多いけど、自分では結構気に入ってます。是非お近くのレコードショップで試聴してみてください。
My latest 12inch vinyl was supposed to be released in the end of May, but we had a problem when we press vinyl so we had to change the release date. And Now it'll be released on 17th of June 2005 in Japan. It'll be also distributed in Europe from baked goods distribution too. It is still a bit hard to buy my works in Europe and US.., but please check it when you have a chance to hear it.

前から行きたいと思ってたけどなかなか行く機会がなかったFrancis BaconとPicassoの展示をPICASSO美術館に観に行ってきました。僕はどっちかというとPicassoよりBaconの方が好みです。Picassoって何となく『コレ良くない？』みたいな感じでどんどん『良い感じ』な作品を要領良く作ってたような感じが作品を通して感じるけど、Baconって『オレにはコレしかできません』みたいな感じでセンスとか要領の良さとか関係無く、本人から沸き出して来たものが作品にぶつけられてる感じがするんです。そういう所がめっちゃ好きです。強烈でした。こういう時英訳って面倒、もっと英語上手くなりたい。
I've been looking for a chance to visit PICASSO museum to see BACON+PICASSO exhibition, then I finally did. I personally prefer Francis Bacon's works a lot. I feel something really strong whenever i see his works, and this time too. I like some of Picasso's works too, but not that strong enough..
最近知り合った近所のショップのT君、６ヶ月。可愛い。
来週末から始まるスイスツアーの準備もあるし、頼まれてるリミックスも２つあるし、次のアルバム用の曲もまだ完成してないのが沢山あるし、やらないとアカン事が山ほどあるのに今日も一日中ゲームしてました。めっちゃおもろい。明後日はいよいよモナコGPですね。HONDAが出場できないのがちょっと残念。F1最高。それにしか興味がないって軽く自信持って言えるぐらい好き。
I have to prepare my LIVE set for SWISS tour which starts from next weekend, and I have two remixes which i have to finish very soon and I have'nt done anything yet, and I have quite many unfinished songs for my next album and I have so many things to do, but i was racing all day long on my sofa today.. It was really exciting.. I wish i could be a racing driver.. On the day after tomorrow, we have F1 MONACO GP! It's a bit pitty that HONDA cannot join the race this time again.. Anyway, I love F1, which is my greatest care at the moment.

アルバムのマスタリングも無事に終わって、今はそれ以外の細々とした（でも重要な）仕事をこなす毎日です。アートワークも前々回にこのblogで紹介したMehdiにお願いしている最中で、仕上がりが待ち遠しい。昨日は僕の学生時代からの友人でパリに拠点を置いて活動している映像作家の河村勇樹にプレス用の写真を撮ってもらいました。ユウキありがとう。リリースに向けて日々着々と物事が進んでいるのを実感しています。早く皆さんにも作品を聴いていただきたい。
After finishing the mastering of our album, we've been working on the other works like cover art and e.t.c. everyday. Now the cover art is in progress by Mehdi who was on this blog before, and I'm really looking forward to it. Then We took some photos for press and promotion with Tujiko Noriko yesterday. This time a visual artists who's been working in Paris and also is one of my friend Yuki Kawamura took those photos for us. Thank you Yuki. Now we're almost ready but still have to work a bit before it is released. I'd really like you to listen to this album as soon as possible.

I received the new 12inch vinyl(op.disc003) on op.disc, just before i leave Paris to London. I'll inform you about this details as soon as we're ready. Please wait a bit more. One of my friend Taeji Sawai made incredible track for this vinyl and I really really like it. Some of you might listened to it already because Fumiya Tanaka plays this track quite often recently. I'm always surprised by Taeji's great works... He's great.

ご無沙汰しておりました。先週頭ぐらいから何かとバタバタ忙しくなってしまって、blogをアップする時間が全然ありませんでした。９日の月曜日から水曜日までは、ツジコノリコとのアルバム『28』のマスタリングのためロンドンに行ってました。上の写真はマスタリングスタジオThe Exchangeでのマスタリング風景です。真ん中の後頭部が僕。fatcatからリリースされている作品のほとんどがココでマスタリングされています。アナログとデジタルの機材が上手くミックスされていて、かなり幅広い状況に対応できるスタジオだと思いました。最終的な仕上がりにも凄く満足しています。物凄くクリアな仕上がりになりました。
It's been a while since i wrote the last entry. I've been extremely busy since the beginning of last week, so I didn't have any time to write this blog. I went to London from 9th Moday to Wednesday to do mastering work for me and Tujiko's new album called "28". This photo was taken at "The Exchange" mastering studio and you can see my head in the middle. They said they did most of mastering on fatcat releases at here and i really liked their work. They have many both analog and degital equipments and I think they are up to the any conditions in flexible ways. and I really liked their work for our work very much.

マスタリングの翌日は、パリへのフライトが夕方だったのでそれまで少しだけロンドン観光。The SAACHI Gelleryに行った後、せっかくなんでLondon EYEっていうデッカイ観覧車に乗ってみました。そこからの眺めは凄かったけど、なによりも料金が高い。。っていうかロンドンの物価が高い。。ちょっとヘコみました。
Before I'm going back to Paris on the next day, I had some free time so I walked around the center of London city, and I went to The SAACHI Gellery and after that i got on London EYE. It was really incredible view from the top of this Ferris wheel but also the fare was incredibly expensive.. Anyway, everything was expensive in London. That's what i thought.
人を真上から見るっていう機会もそれほど無いと思う。
パリのCDG空港に夜１０時ぐらいに到着。月が凄く奇麗でした。
遅くなりましたが、５月のLIVE schedulesを後でアップしておきます。今月は半野さんと黒川君と３人でスイスツアーです。楽しみ。

今日は以前このblogで紹介した僕の新しい友人のタローちゃんに会ってきました。７ヶ月になったタローちゃんは以前会った時よりもパワフルになって、子供特有のあの無駄だらけな動きが最高に可愛かった。やんちゃです。この時期のラブラドールは本当に悪い。なんでもカジるし、なんでも壊すし、何でも食べるし、、もう可愛い。
Today i met one of my friends(Actually he is a dog) who i introduced on this blog before. His name's Taro, and he gets 7 months now. He became much more powerfull, much more curious, much more energetic, and also much more naughty :-) As you know, he was so cute. The owner of him told me that now he break almost everything in their room and eat anything.. I remember when my dog was little, He was exactly the same as Taro too. Still cute.
パリに戻ってからはしばらく（おそらく僕のせいで）雨ばっかりで気温も凄く低かったけど、ここ数日になって晴れ間が見える日が多くなってきました。でも１日の中に全ての季節があるみたいな感じで、大雨が降ったと思ったら突然晴れたり。晴れた時は街路樹の新芽の緑色が半端じゃなく奇麗に見える。どうしても地元大阪とパリを比べてしまうけど、大阪市の街路樹に関しては植木を管理する業者さんと大阪市の仲が物凄く良いみたいで、毎年業者さんが切らなくても良いところまでガッツリ切ってくれるんです。だからあんまり街路樹の意味をなしてないんですよね。そのせいもあってただでさえ緑の少ない大阪市の平均気温は毎年うなぎ上り。景気は数年前の国産ロケットみたいにひたすら落ちまくり。素晴らしい。
ここ最近のヒット料理。ブロッコリ、ベーコン＆タマネギのクリームパスタに、ルッコラと洋風パセリとパルメザンチーズをたっぷり散りばめて。美味い。すげー美味い。

昨日は凄く寒かったけど昼過ぎぐらいに微妙に晴れ間が見えたので、友人達とパリの公園に花見に行ってきました。パリの公園には桜が植林されている所がいくつかあって、昨日はCite Universitaireっていう所に行ってきたんです。これは八重桜っていうんですかね。物凄く奇麗でした。夕方にはくじけそうなぐらい寒くなってしまったので、ちょっと早めに切り上げました。今日のパリは快晴。凄く気持ちがいい。
It was quite cold in Paris yesterday, but we had sun shine sometimes so decided to go out for cherry blossom viewing. We called this "HANAMI" and we Japanese often go out for this in this cherry blossom season for a picnic. We found some places where we can enjoy cherry blossom in Paris, we went to the place called Cite Universitaire yesterday. They were really beautiful. If you have a chance please do that. It was really nice picnic.

４日の昼にNYを出てから６日の夕方にパリに戻って来るまで、一度も横になって寝る機会が無かったんです。パリの部屋に帰ってから自分でもいつ寝たのか覚えてないぐらいの勢いで寝付いて、気が付いた時には翌日の午後３時半。久々の爆眠でした。昔からずっと寝るのは時間の無駄やと思って大嫌いだったんですけどね、最近は寝るの大好きです。もっと寝たい。 一時帰国している友人から預かってたサボテン達も元気でした。YSNK君、YKEちゃん、ご安心ください。彼らはバッチリ元気やで。
Since i left NY on 4th noon I haven't had any chance to lie down and sleep until i came back to Paris on 6th. I was really tired and i didn't even remember when i slept, then when i woke up, it was already half past 3:00 pm on the next day. I used to hate sleeping because i felt like i was wasting my time, But now I love sleeping... I wanna sleep some more.
写真じゃ分かりにくいかもしれないけど、僕がパリに戻ったと同時にパリも凄い雨。僕が帰る前日までは１５℃を越える暖かさやったのに、僕が帰って来た途端に気温も下がって大雨。僕が大笑いしたと同時に雨脚が激しくなった時に、僕は自分が雨男である事を確信しましたね。NYから大阪に嵐を持って帰って、その雨と気温をそのままパリに持って帰って来てしまったみたい。今日の大阪、晴れ、予想気温２２℃。パリ、雨＆雷、気温５℃。。パリの皆さん、すんません、僕のせいです。
It's a bit hard to tell from this photo, but it was raining really hard this evening. Just a day before i came back, it was really nice weather in Paris, but as soon as i came back, It was raining and we have thunder tomorrow.. I must i brought it from NY to Osaka and to Paris. Today it was fine in Osaka 22 degrees. In Paris, it's gonna rain and thunder, 5 degrees.... I think i bourght it here.. I'm so sorry for people who lives in here. it's my fault...
その後辛うじて夕暮れに晴れ間が。雲が奇麗。この後家を出る頃にまた雨が降り出す。
I saw blue sky and beuatiful coud in a short period of time. After this, just before i went out, it started raining again..
夜にその日パリに到着したばかりの田中フミヤさんと合流。一緒に食事しながら、"o.p. disc"に関して色々と話しました。明日パリのbatofarっていう所でDJをされるそうです。僕も行こうと思ってます。楽しみ。久しぶりに踊ろう。
In the evening, i met Fumiya Tanaka to have some dinner together. we talked about his new label "o.p. disc" a bit. I'm planing to release my next album and 12inchs on this label. He's gonna play at batofar in Paris tomorrow. I'm planing to go there. I'm looking forward to it.

イベント２日目の今日はあいにくの大嵐。。写真じゃ分かりにくいけど、映画のワンシーンみたいな不自然に片寄った雨の固まりと猛烈な横風が、昼過ぎからイベントの途中ぐらいまでずっと降り続いてたんです。僕ってホント天気運が悪いです。前の心斎橋のAppleストアの時も台風が来てたし、今日はよりにもよってソロライヴの時に大嵐。ある意味ラッキー、って思うようしておきます。大当たり。そのせいもあって集客は昨日より少し少ない感じではありましたが、ライヴが始まる頃には一応座席は満席状態だったのでそれなりに良い雰囲気でした。あの大嵐の中わざわざお越しいただいたオーディエンスの方々に感謝。ありがとうございました。
It was like storm on the second day of the event in NY. It's a bit hard to tell from this photo, but it was like fake storm in the movies. It had been raining since this afternoon until in the middle of our LIVE shows. I always have little luck with weather.. when i played at Apple store in Osaka, we had typhoon and today... the day i play my solo... we had storm. I'm lucky in a way.. I should think this way. Anyway, we didn't have so many people like yesterday, but when the LIVE show started, every seats were taken. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to this event even in that terrible weather. Thank you so much.
今日も自分ではかなり満足のいくライヴができたと思ってます。ライヴ前はいつも通り緊張しすぎてお腹が痛くなったけど、でもまあまあそれなりにお客さんにも良い感じで届いたんじゃないでしょうか。持って行ったCDも完売！嬉しい。ご購入いただいた皆さんに感謝。今回はサウンドシステムが凄く良かったので、モニターもしやすかったし、フロアへの出音もかなりクリアに鳴ってくれました。エンジニアさんがホント良い仕事してくれました。このライヴの詳しいレビューはまたまた近日中にtraksyと自分のLIVE reviewにもアップする予定ですので、是非チェックしてみてください。
I'm quite satisfied with my LIVE show today. As always, I get too nervous when my turn comes and i got a little stomachache before the show today too, but after my show so many people told me that they liked my performance, so i think it was quite a success. All my CDs were sold out! I'm so glad. I'd like to say thank you to people who bought them. They had really great sound system this time, so i could listen to my own sound really clear and I think the audience could hear it in the same way too. I have to say thank you to the sound men. I'm going to upload some photos of other artists on the LIVE reviews soon too. Please check it when you have time.
明日の昼の飛行機に乗って大阪に帰ります。凄く充実した刺激的な５日間でした。あっという間でした。またNYに来れる機会があると良いけど。凄く良い経験＆勉強になりました。他の出演者の方々も皆さん本当に素晴らしい人達ばかりで、今回このイベントを通して物凄く良い刺激をいただきました。今回このイベントを主催されたJapan Societyと、キュレーションを担当されたCarl Stoneさんに感謝します。ありがとうございました。またイベントにお越しいただいた全ての方に感謝します。ありがとうございました。
I'm going back to Osaka tomorrow noon. It was really exciting 5days in NY. I learned a lot of things again from this event. I hope i'll be able to come back here again someday. 昨日は朝早めに起きて、散歩がてら歩いてMoMAに行ってきました。朝結構早かったけど、もうすでに物凄い数の来場者。っていうか規模がデカい。やっぱり欧米諸国ってアートが凄く身近なんやなって思いました。日本ってこんな所あるんですかね？東京にはあるのかな。大阪には全っくないですよ。また今度来る機会があったらゆっくり観ようと思いました。僕がMoMAから出る時には更に物凄い数の人でした。
I woke up quite early yesterday morning, so i went to MoMA. It was quite early but there were already so many people there. I had to wait in line to get ticket for a while.
It was really huge... I didn't have much time to see carefully every works this time, so I think i need to come back here when i have a chance to visit NY again someday. I thought that it's really good that people in Europe and the United States are quite close to art in their everyday life. We're quite far from that situation in Japan(maybe not in Tokyo...), especially in my home town Osaka(Osaka is the second beggest city in Japan!). Osaka is almost dead.. I'm a bit sad but this is the reality..
その後会場に向かって皆さんと落ち合って、そこで簡単な食事。写真は本番開始前の楽屋での風景。後で皆で言ってたんですけど、結構有り得ない面子でこの写真はかなり面白い。左からSachiko Mさん、Yoshimitsu Ichirakuさん、Taku Hannodaさん、大友良英さん、竹村延和さん、o.blaatさん。皆凄く良い人達。初日に皆さんとお会いしてから笑いが絶えない。特に半野田君は面白過ぎ。ムリです。
I went to the venue in the afternoon and, we had kind of dinner together at there. I took this photo just before the show starts at the waiting room. Everybody was talking about this photo after i took this but this photo must be quite rare shot maybe. Because it is quite unusual casting this time.. It's really interesting. From left to right >> Ms.Sachiko M, Mr.Yoshimitsu Ichiraku, Mr.Taku Hannoda, Mr.Otomo Yoshihide, Mr.Nobukazu Takemura, and Ms.o.blaat. They're all really nice people. Since we met, we've been laughing all the time.
会場が少し小さかった事もあって、イベントが始まると同時に超満員。入場制限もあって、入れないお客さん達が外で待ってる状態。ちょっと申し訳無かった。。初日は僕とCarl StoneさんのDuo。今回の詳しいLIVE reviewは、パリに戻り次第traksyと自分のサイトのLIVE reviewsにアップさせていただきますね。お楽しみに。他の出演者の方々のライヴもお客さんに大好評。皆さん楽しんでいただけたみたいで良かった。
Unfortunately the venue was not big enough, so it was full of the audience there as soon as the door was open. Some people had to wait outside to get the extra tickets.. I'm so sorry for them. I played with Mr.Carl Stone as Duo for the first day. I think you can see from the photo but Mr.Stone is using his iPod. Just before the show, Mr.Stone's powerbook didn't boot at all, so we decided that he plays his sound from iPod and sending audio signal to my mixer, and i recieve his audio signal to my Max/msp patch and I edited and processed them in real time. So most of the sound was based on his audio signal for the whole performance, but i think it worked in quite effective way. I think people liked it, I hope so.. And it's needless to say but other people's LIVE show were also really great. I'm sure people like them a lot. I'm planning to upload some other photos from this LIVE shows on my LIVE review as soon as i go back to Paris. You can see some photos of every artist on this event too. Please check it.
イベントの後はJapan Societyの皆さんとアーティスト全員で打ち上げ。今回もまたまた韓国料理でしたけど(昨日とは別のお店）、またまた美味くて食い過ぎた。。お店の人がサービスで水餃子を出してくれて、それがまた非常に美味かった。。っていうか皆面白過ぎ、笑い過ぎて腹筋が切れるかと思った。。結局夜中２時までレストランで騒いだ後ホテルへ。僕は寝る前にblog書こうと思ったけどマシンを起動したまま寝てしまった。今日はこれからソロでのライヴの準備の為、今から会場に向かいます。頑張ってきますね。
After the show, we again went the other Korean restaurant with people from Japan Society and all the artists. It was also beautiful dinner. I ate too much again... We went back to the hotel around 2:30 am, and i tried to write this blog before i sleep and i started my computer, but when i realized it was already next morning.. I'm going to the venue soon for LIVE show day2 from now. Today I'm going to perform as solo.

昼の１時ぐらいに皆でホテルのロビーで合流して、タクシーで会場へ。昨日サンフランシスコから到着された大友さんも合流。上の写真はSachiko Mさんのサウンドチェック風景。皆で見守ってる感じでした。冗談も交えてかなり楽しい雰囲気でした。
We met together with everybody around 13:00 at the hotel lobby then went to the venue by taxi. Mr.Yoshihide Otomo arrived at NY from San Francisco last night, and he joined together with us. I took this photo when Ms.Sachiko M was doing her sound check. It was really nice atmosphere at there.
大友さんのライヴセット。ギターはソロの時はお使いにならないみたいで、ISO(Ichirakuさん＋Sachiko Mさん+大友良英さんのユニット)の時に使用されるとの事。ソロセットはすげーノイジーで、物凄い迫力でした。
Mr.Yoshihide Otomo's LIVE set. He's not using his guiter when he plays solo, He's going to play guiter when they play together with ISO(the unit with Mr.Ichiraku + Ms.Sachiko M + Mr.Otomo). It was really noizy..

帰りは歩いてホテルまで。今朝まで凄く良い天気やったのに、夜になって雨が降り始めて気温もぐっと下がった。明日はいよいよ本番１日目。僕はCarl Stoneさんとコラボレーションをさせていただく事になってます。頑張らないと。責任重大です。っていうかビル高過ぎ。
We walked to hotel after the dinner. It was quite nice weather in the morning, but it started raining in the evening. Tomorrow we're gonna have a concert day1. I'm going to play together with Mr.Stone.

３０日の朝に大阪の伊丹空港を出発して成田空港へ、そこからNY行きの直行便に乗ってJFK空港に到着しました。上の写真は恒例のハイウェイ写真。JFKからマンハッタンに向かう途中で撮った写真です。当たり前やけど車がアメ車だらけ。どれもカッコ悪いしデカい。
I left Osaka Itami airport on 30th early in the morning and going to Tokyo Narita airport, then we got on the direct flight to NY JFK from there. I took this photo on the high way from JFK to manhattan. So many American cars, they all look bad and big..

今日何回言ったか分からないけど、街が映画のセットみたい。。全然現実味が無いんです。当たり前ですけど、今まで行った国の中で一番英語が分かる。皆クリアに話してくれる。
I don't know how many times i said this words today but, the whole city looks like a movie set. It doesn't look like real for me.
会場になるJapan Societyです。村上隆さんの作品が貼ってある。挑発的やなタイトルやなーw。でもアメリカ人でこのLittle Boyに関して知ってる人って少なそう。この後皆でホテルに戻って、僕は爆眠。夜１０時半っていう変な時間に起きてしまったので今ホテルのロビーでblog書いてます。
明日は皆で会場入りして、セッティングチェックやサウンドチェックを行います。楽しみ。
This is the place where we're going to play, Japan Society. I saw a huge picture of Mr.Takashi Murakami's work. I like that title "Little Boy". Maybe some people know about this but, this is the name of the nuclear bomb which was dropped on Hiroshima by America in 1945. We went back to the Hotel after checking the venue, and I slept immediately until now.. It's 22:30 pm and I'm writing this blog at the Hotel Lobby.
We're planning to go to the venue again tomorrow and do sound checking and so on. I'm looking forward to it.

今日は以前に新曲のヴォーカル録音でもお世話になったstudio NU-VUで、今年６月ぐらいにoneowner recordsとPROGRESSIVE FOrMのダブルネームでリリースが予定されている12inch用のマスタリングをしてきました。今回もエンジニアのイサヤマさんが素晴らしい仕事をしてくださいました。イサヤマさん、ありがとうございました。
Today I went to studio NU-VU again for the mastering work for my next 12ich which will be released on oneowner records and PROGRESSIVE FOrM in around June 2005. Mr.Isayama who's working as an engineer at this studio did really great job for this again. Thank you Mr.Isayama!
今回の12inchは、デジタルプレスというCDのマスター音源をそのままレコードにプレスするという方法で作られると事前にレーベル側から教えていただいていました。僕達は今までその方法で12inchを作った事が無かったので、以前oneowner recordsからリリースされた12inchとそのマスターCD-Rをスタジオに持ち込んで、まずアナライザを使用しながらどういう特性が12inchに反映されるのかを確認する作業から始めました。その結果を踏まえてマスターを作る作業をしたんです。
最終的にはMAC(ProTools) → 192I/O Digital → DM2000(MY8AE96でデジタル接続) → 企業秘密 （だそうです）→ Motu 828(オプティカルインでデジタル接続) →WIN(Nuendo) という流れでマスターを作ったんです。かなり満足のいく結果になったので、12inchが出来上がるのが凄く楽しみ。凄く良い勉強になりました。英訳めんどくさいので今日はカット。。

スタジオでのマスタリング作業が終わった後、久しぶりにeaterとドラマーの渡邊充さんと３人で会う事ができました。もうご存知な方もおられると思いますが、この３人で数年前から『trio tech.』っていうバンドを結成して、少しずつですが実験を重ねながら活動を続けています。最近はそれぞれ個人の仕事が忙しくて、なかなか３人で会って話し合ったり作業したり練習したりする時間が持てない状況が続いているんですが、今はそれぞれの活動から沢山の事を学んでいる状況だと思ってるんです。いつか僕達３人が個人の活動を通して学んだ事を、この『trio tech.』というバンドに思いっきりぶつけて発表できれば良いなって思ってます。これからが楽しみ。やっぱり人間って『会う』って事が大切やなーって今日痛感しました。二人とも元気そうで良かったです。話もすげー盛り上がって、物凄く良い刺激になりました。カツキ君、渡邊さん、ありがとうございました！

After the studio work, I had a chance to see with eater and Mr.Mitsuru Watanabe. eater has been releasing his works on Daisy World Discs and CURRENT. Mr.Watanabe is one of the best drummer I've ever seen. Maybe some people already knew but we've been working as a band called "trio tech." little by little since a few years ago. Recently we each other have quite busy days for our solo projects, so we didn't really have much time to work together as a band, but we think that now we're learning a lot of things from our solo activities and I'm sure that someday soon we'll be able to give a lot of feedback to this "trio tech" project from what we've been doing so far. I'm really looking forward to it. It was really nice to see them again today. Thank you eater and Mr.Watanabe!

ここ数日はインフルエンザで失った５日間の遅れを取り戻すべく家に隠りっきりで作業してました。おかげで２５、２６日のライヴの準備も今日でほぼ終わって、かなり安心してライヴに挑めそうです。今回はかなりユル〜イ心地いい感じのライヴにしたいと思ってます。ライヴの最後に近々12inchでも発売される予定の新曲を披露しようと思ってますのでお楽しみに。本気で歌いまっせ。ご都合の宜しい方々は、２５日（大阪：ギャラリー山口）、２６日（京都：shin-bi）でのライヴに是非お越しください。今僕が出来得る最高のパフォーマンスができるように頑張ります！
それにしても今日の大阪は凄い風と雨でした。多分今日は日本中大荒れやったんじゃないでしょうか。明日もかなり荒れるみたいですね、、客足に影響しないと良いけど。。

I've been working really hard to make up for lost time in this past few days because i was sick in bed last week. Now I'm almost ready for my LIVE performance on 25th (Osaka) and 26th(Kyoto). This time I'm going to play something quite cozy and slow songs for those two shows. I'm planning to play my latest song which will be released soon as 12inch in May too. I hope people like it. It was really windy and rainy today. It was really hard... I think most of the part in Japan was the same.. The weather report said that it's going to be the same in tomorrow too..

F1 TOYOTAチームにお詫びしないといけない、、僕が間違っておりました。すいませんでした。。昨日マレーシアで開かれたF1マレーシアGPで、ヤルノ・トゥルーリが操るTOYOTAが見事２位表彰台。素晴らしいレースでした。デザインは良くないけど（やっぱりココは譲れない）、世界に日本人の職人技術のレベルの高さを証明できたと思うと凄く誇らしい。今後は子供達に更なる夢を与えられるような、美しいデザインを追求して欲しい所です。今シーズンのF1はかなり面白くなりそう。やる気が出てきました。
I have to apologize to F1 TOYOTA team.. I admit that I was wrong.. Jarno Trulli who drives TOYOTA F1 got the 2nd place yesterday in Malaysia GP. It was a great race. I still don't like their design ;-) but I'm sure that they showed the high level of Japanese artisan skill to the world in really effective way. I wish they seek for dream-inspiring car design for kids for their next step. I'm sure that F1 2005 season is gonna be really exciting. I never can miss any race in this year.
F1のエンジン音聴いてると盛り上がって来るんです。いつかF1エンジン自体を音源にして、爆発音とエグゾーストノートだけでリズムを作ってライヴしてみたい。最近のF1エンジンは全てコンピュータで制御可能なので、MIDI信号を何とかしてF1エンジンが受け付けるプロトコルに変換できれば不可能じゃない。想像するだけでも興奮する！それを実現する為にももっと有名になろう。
The sound of F1 makes me excited. Someday I wanna use F1 engine as a sound generator and make rhythm with exhaust note for LIVE performance. Recently every F1 engines are controled by computers, and I'm sure that we can send them some kind of segnals from my sequencer to the F1 engines and cotrole them as a drum machine. This idea makes me really excited. I have to be more famous to realize this idea.
前回のエントリーで東京に行きますって書いたんですけど、東京に行く新幹線の中でどうも熱っぽいなーって思ってたら、東京に着いた頃にはバッチリ高熱に見舞われてしまいました。。結局その日は以前このblogでもご紹介したsimply funk T-shirtsを作ってくれたORAQLEのホンマ君の家に泊めてもらいました。東京で予定してたスケジュールを全部キャンセルさせていただいて翌日の夕方に何とか大阪に帰りました。その後も高熱にうなされて今日やっと回復。皆さんもどうか体調にはお気を付けください。インフルエンザめっちゃ強力ですね。負けそうになりました。おかげで減量後のボクサーみたいに
