さっきシンガポールから帰ってきました。今回のシンガポールでのLIVEに来てくださった皆さんと、オーガナイザのNeo Kim Sengさん(esplanada)、中国人アーティストDickson Dee、半野喜弘さんに感謝。シンガポールに僕のファンがいるなんて思いもしなった。感動です。
I just came back from Singapore. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to our show. and thank you to Mr.Neo Kim Seng from esplanada who made this happen, Dickson Dee from China and Yoshihiro HANNO. I didn't expect that there are some fans there.. I'm so happy. thank you all.
DicksonのLIVE良かった。中国の伝統楽器を含めた音の選び方のセンスが凄く良くて、それ以外音楽的な音はあまり使ってないのに（LIVE中コンピュータの問題もあったのに）終止音楽的で美しかった。半野さんは映画監督の甲斐田祐輔さんの映像をバックに美しい音楽を聴かせてくださった。甲斐田さんの映像も美しくて、半野さんの音楽との相乗効果が素晴らしかった。甲斐田監督のフレーミングと光の捉え方と半野さんの複雑なのにシンプルに聴こえるハーモニーと感情的な全体の構成には脱帽です。ホウ・シャオシェン監督、ジャジャンクー監督、ユーリクアイ監督を始め、最近半野さんの音楽に反応する才能ある映画監督が増え始めてる。素晴らしい。
Dickson's show was amazing. He used some samples from Chinese traditional instruments combined with his unique noise, and the whole structure of his show was really musical, beautiful and emotional at the same time. Mr.Yoshihiro HANNO played with visual filmed by a Japanese movie director Mr.Yusuke Kaida. Mr.Hanno's music was really beautiful, simple but complicated at the same time as always, and His Music and Mr.Kaida's visual generated a incredible synergistic effect. I love the way Mr.Kaida captures the light and also his own characteristic camera angle. Please check their works when you have a chance. These days a lot of talented movie directors such as HouHsiaoHsien, Jia Zhang Ke are interested in Mr.Hanno's music for their movies. Amazing.
op.disc showcase "hub"は今年で３年目。僕はラッキーな事に今までの３回全部に出させていただいてて、今回も今までの２回と同じぐらい、もしくはそれ以上に心の底からパーティーを楽しめました。このパーティーは毎回どんどん楽しくなってる気がする。大阪と東京の"hub"に来てくださった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。楽しんでもらえたかな。大阪のSUNSUIと東京のUNITの皆さんにも心からのお礼をお伝えしたい。また来年も出たいなー。そう言えばまたLIVEの途中で音を止めてしまった。。
This year's op.disc showcase "hub", which is the 3rd, was really amazing party as always. I'm lucky enough to play every year (3 times) so far, and I think it is getting more exciting every year. I really really enjoyed it. I really want you to come to this party in Osaka or Tokyo when you have a chance. I think it's worth coming from overseas. Please ;-) I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came and also thank you to the venue in Osaka SUNSUI and Tokyo UNIT. I really wanna play next year too.

15日のPICASSOに来てくれた皆さん、ありがとうございました。METROって僕のホームって言っていいクラブやし、気分も凄く楽で、皆すげー踊ってくれて雰囲気も良くて、自分でも結構ええLIVEができたと思ってます。ホンマに楽しかったなー。いやー、あんなに楽しいパーティーは久しぶりでした。僕は結局休む暇無く踊ってて、自分のLIVE以外はほとんどフロアの一番音の良い場所に陣取ってた気がします。今回PICASSOでのLIVEのチャンスをくれたKO-JAXさんとKOHEI君に感謝したい！素晴らしいDJありがとうございました！最高でした！このパーティーにはまた絶対出たい。またお願いします。
Thank you for eveybody who came to PICASSO on 15th of Nov. It was amazing party! I really really enjoyed it myself. I think I did quite good show there. I think i was dancing almost the whole party time except my show at the best position to feel sound in the floor.. There was almost no time to rest because of those great DJs. what a party. I'd like to say thank you to KO-JAX and KOHEI who gave a chance this time. I really wanna play for this party again soon.

１８日はAD&A galleryで古館君がやってるMAX/mspのワークショップに参加させてもらう。なんかベラベラと色々話させてもらったけど、、皆さんにとって新しいアイデアを得る良い刺激になれば嬉しいです。受講された皆さんと結構話とかできて楽しかったなー。高校生も来てくれてたからビックリ。今回のチャンスをくださったAD&A galleryの方々と古館君に感謝。
I joined the MAX/msp workshop at AD&A gallery in Osaka on 18th of Nov. I'm not really good at this kind of things, but i hope people got some good ideas for their programming from this workshop. I'd like to say thank you to AD&A gallery and Ken Furudate who gave me this chance.

11月9日(大阪ROCKETS), 10日(東京O-nest)のLIVEに来てくださった皆さん、ありがとうございました。楽しんでもらえましたでしょうか。このイベントを主催されたCURRENTの間所さんと半野喜弘さん、それにイベントの運営に関わられた全ての皆さんに感謝したい。皆さんありがとうございました。
僕のLIVEは、、大阪は結構ええ感じでいけたと思うんですけど、東京は小さいミスもいくつかあったし、モニターしずらかったのもあって自分的には不完全燃焼でした。。でもLIVEの後に沢山の方々から声をかけていただけて、その方たちには楽しんでいただけたようなので良かった。次の東京は２２日のWOMBっていう所です。行った事ないから楽しみ。

I'm quite satisfied with my LIVE in Osaka but I made some small mistakes in Tokyo show... However some people talked to me after the show and told me that they enjoyed it so.. I think it was OK. My next show in Tokyo will be at the club called WOMB in Shibuya on 22nd of Nov.

今回のイベントでドラマーとして参加しておられた渡邊充さん。僕らはワタンベさんと呼んでますが、やっぱりこの方のドラムは素晴らしい、かっこいい。。何回聴いても凄い。最近ワタンベさんが参加してるBOLSHOIZも良い。スゲー適当で勢いがあって良い！
My favorite drummer Mitsuru Watanabe, we call him WATANBE, also played for those two shows in Osaka and Tokyo. I really really love his drum sound... amazing. and HIs another band called BOLSHOIZ is also great. they're really energetic.
トウヤマさんは今回ピアノだけで演奏された。楽器一つで音楽を奏でられるって本当に素晴らしい事だと思いました。僕なんて電気とコンピュータが無かったら音楽作れないし。。
東京のLIVEの翌日は飯野賢治さんとお会いする。以前から遊ぼー遊ぼーって約束しててやっと実現。二人でかなり盛り上がって、飯野さんの事務所で爆音で僕の新曲とかお互いのお気に入りの曲とか流し合いながら踊りまくり。飯野さんありがとうございました！完璧に楽しかった。詳しくは飯野さんのblogで ;-)

僕のテクノ先生で、僕のプロフィールとかも書いてくれてるKOHEIことテラゾノ・コウヘイ君とKO-JAXさんが主催されてるテクノパーティー"PICASSO"に明日(15日 at 京都METRO)出演させてもらいます。前からすげー出たかったイベントなのでホンマに嬉しい。今回このチャンスを与えてくださったKO-JAXさんとKOHEI君に心から感謝したい。このパーティーに来てる耳の肥えたテクノファンの皆さんにガッカリされないように適当に頑張ります。

ご無沙汰してました。少し前から日本に帰って来てます。思ったより暖かくてなんか変な感じ。
10月28日に韓国のソウルで行われたイベント"MELTING vol.01"に参加させてもらってきました。今回このイベントを主催してくださったミュージシャンのyoonsangとこのイベントに関わった全ての方々に感謝したい。韓国では僕達のような音楽のイベントは今回が初めてだったそうなので、オーガナイザ側も色々とどうやって良いのか分からない事が多かったみたいでしたし、オーディエンス側もどうリアクションして良いのか分からないみたいな感じでしたけど、結果としては良い感じでイベントを終えれたと思ってます。これを機に韓国にも僕たちのような音楽のシーンが生まれて大きくなっていけば嬉しいなー。そんなソウルでの写真をいくつか。
it's been a while again. Now I'm back in Japan since some days ago. It's much warmer than i thought and this makes me feel strange.... I think it's not normal..
Anyway, I had a chance to visit and perform in Seoul for the event called "MELTING vol.01" which was held on 28th of October. I'd like to say thank you to Mr.yoonsang who's a really famous and talented musican gave us a chance to perform in Seoul and also THANK YOU to all the people who worked for this event.
They said it was the first time to have an event with our kind of music in Korea, so I'm sure everybody include organizers and audiences had almost no idea what to do and how to react to my kind of music... but i thought most of the audience looked happy at the end, and we did our best to make it happen, so I'm really satisified with the result. I hope i'll be able to come back in Seoul and perform again there. Here are some photos from Seoul.

韓国には一週間以上滞在してました。毎日がホントに楽しくて、たくさんの刺激的な人たちと出会う事もできて本当に充実してました。韓国人と日本人って色んな意味でホンマに似てると思う。似過ぎてて毎日違和感をほとんど感じなかった。楽しかった。
I spent more than one week in Seoul. I had amazing time everyday and met so many exciting people there. I think Korean and Japanese have so many similarities in so many ways. I felt that we're almost the same and i didn't feel any uncomfortable feeling at all during my stay.
ここからは日本の写真。毎回日本に帰ってくると、もう散々見飽きたはずの大阪の景色が凄く特殊なものに見える。常に偏見の無い視点で物事を見ないとなって毎回日本に帰ってくる度に思うんです。 夕日が文句なしに奇麗でした。
Here's the Japanese part. Whenever i come back to Osaka, I see something different from before. I thought i knew what Osaka look like and I thought i got bored with the sight of Osaka, but Somehow it looks really different when i come back. I need to see everything without prejudice at all time. It was amazing sunset.

ご無沙汰してます。9月27日から29日までの三日間、モロッコのFesっていう街で行われてたSLAM&KLAM Festivalに参加させていただきました。僕にとっては初めてのモロッコ＋アフリカ大陸（端っこやけど）で、飛行機から降りた瞬間から空気とか景色とか色んな要素が新しくて凄く新鮮でした。今回のチャンスを与えてくれたフェスティバルのスタッフ全員に感謝したい。まさかモロッコのFESに僕のファン(スタッフの人たちでしたけど、）がいるなんて思ってもみなかった。音楽続けててホントに良かった。
It's been a while again. I had a chace to visit Fez in Morocco and played for SLAM&KLAM Festival. It was my first time to visit Morocco and also African continent. Air was different and everything came into my eyes was different. almost everything was new for me. I'd like to say THANK YOU so much for everybody who worked for this festival, and thank you all for giving me a chance to play in Fes.

The Last Poets
今回The Last Poetsっていうアーティストと知り合う機会をいただけた。正直言って(恥ずかしながら)僕は彼らの事は知らなかったんですが、70年代からメッセージ性の強い詩とパーカッションを用いたラップの源流のような事をやっておられたと教えてくださった。フェスティバル初日にやらせてもらった僕のLIVEを気に入ってくださって、光栄にも3日目の彼らのLIVEの最後の曲に僕も参加させていただけた。Dune, Baba, Umarの３人に心から感謝したい。これは彼らのLIVE前日にあったアーティストを集めてのディスカッションの時。ディスカッションがいつの間にか彼らのLIVEに。贅沢な時間でした。
This time i had a chance to meet with The Last Poets. To be honest i didn't know about them very much, but I was really amazed by their music and their LIVE show. They gave me a great chance to perform with them on the last song for their LIVE show. It was really really special moment for me. Thank you very much Dune, Baba, and Umar.
滞在期間中にも３人とは色々と話もさせていただいて、世界で起っているテロのほとんどがアメリカを中心とした各国政府の情報機関と軍による自作自演であるとか、エイズはアメリカが作った生物兵器であるとか、他にも色々とお話させていただいた。彼らはLIVE中でもこういう事をガンガン詩に混ぜてデカイ声で言うておられた。根性あるなー、かっこええなー。やっぱりこういう人たちはTVなどの主要メディアに騙される事なくちゃんと真実を知っておられるんやなって思いました。モロッコのアーティスト達もみんなこういう事をしっかりと真実として理解しておられるし、ゴリゴリの西側諸国の人たちとは違ってこういう話もしっかりとできたし、色々と情報交換ができて良い勉強になりました。
で、その３人が気に入ってくれた僕のLIVEは、実は僕にとってはかなりの修行LIVEで、、、LIVEが終わったら数百人いたオーディエンスが数十人に減ってて、、かなりヘコんだけど、、彼ら３人と他の出演者と残ってくれてた数十人には気に入っていただけただけたみたいで、救われた気分でした。オーガナイザ曰く、モロッコではアラブ語の入ってない音楽はまだかなり難しいとの事だったんですが、、それでもあの結果にはヘコむなー。僕のLIVE中にアラブ語のラップを入れてくれた現地のアーティスト達に心から感謝したい。それで何とか最後までもったんです。アラブ語のラップ結構カッコ良かった。もっと良い音楽作りたい。

モロッコの若者達の間では今でもモロッコの伝統的な民族音楽の人気は根強くて、僕と同じステージにこういう民族音楽の演奏家の方々も参加されて、ガッツリ若者達を盛り上げておられた。僕なんかより圧倒的に人気あったし。自国の文化がまだしっかりと守られてるなーって思った。これは元王宮だった敷地の庭で皆さん集まってレコーディング。
フランス人ジャーナリストのMarionが撮ってくれた。ちょうど上のThe Last Poetsの３人の写真を撮ってる所やと思う。Merci Marion.
次のLIVEは10月28日にソウルであります。すげー楽しみ。ソウルでLIVE初めて。

６月８日にポーランドのWarsawであったフェスティバルでのLIVEを終えて、その翌朝の９日にオランダのRotterdamに行ってCAMERA JAPANっていうイベントに参加させてもらう。ポーランドは軽く修行っぽいイベントで、RotterdamでもLIVE直前までチケット買ってくれた人の数が１４人って言われて、、ああー、ごめんなさい、、って思ったんですけど、最終的には１００人ぐらいのお客さんが僕のLIVEで踊ってくれたみたいで、安心しました。。もっと普通に人が呼べるように頑張ろうって、改めて痛感。。RotterdamでのLIVE自体はサウンドシステム(d&b audio僕のお気に入り、YCAMもこれ)も会場のアンビエンスもエンジニアさんも最高で、自分でも過去最高のLIVEができたんじゃないかと思ってます。この場をお借りして、LIVEに来てくれた皆さん、Moving Closer FestivalのオーガナイザのDariuszと、CAMERA JAPANのオーガナイザの方々と、それに友人たちに感謝します。ありがとうございます。
I went to Warsaw in Poland on 8th of June, and the next day on 9th, after the show, i went to Rotterdam to play at the event called CAMERA JAPAN. They had really good sound system called d&b audio(this is my favorite!) and also really great sound engineer Frank, and it was really well organized event. I really enjoyed the show there. I think i've done one of my best shows this time in Rotterdam. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see my show in Warsaw and Rotterdam, and thank you to Dariusz who organizes "Moving Closer Festival" In Warsaw, and also thank you for all the people who works for "CAMERA JAPAN", and all my friends there.
オランダって道ばたに雑草が凄く多くて、みんなどれも自然な感じで生えてて凄く良い。湿度が高いからかな。やっぱり自然はあまり人間の手を加えずに、あるがままに放っておくのが良いような気がする。その方が見た目も良い。
I love those unknown plants by the streets. I see many places like this everywhere in Netherland. They all look living in natural situation, and I think all plants should be like this. It looks much better than European axisymmetric arrangement parks.
オランダに友人が住んでて、彼のお勧めの場所に連れて行ってくれるというので皆でDen Haagっていう海沿いの街に行ってきました。久しぶりに海を目の前で見たらちょっと感動。海デカ過ぎ。裸足でビーチを歩いたり深呼吸したりして海のエネルギーを少しいただく。
One of my friends is living in Netherland, and he took us to his favorite place. we all went to Den Haag to see ocean. It's been a while to see ocean in front of me so I felt something really strong from it. It is really huge.. I walked the beach without my shoes and took some deep breath to get a lot of energy from there.
この前日本で撮った写真を現像したので、ここからはその時のお気に入りの写真をいくつか。やっぱりフィルム良いなー、、最近フィルムで写真撮り始めて、写真ってそう言えばこんなに感動できるものやったって事を思い出しました。
I developed some films from which i took in Japan recently, so I upload some of my favorites below. Now I love film cameras again... Now I remember what real photo was.
やっぱり日本の朝ご飯が最高。日本人で良かった、、ってホンキで思います。やっぱり漬け物が恋しくなるなー。
I think Japanese breakfast is the best in the world in many ways ;-) Maybe that's because I'm Japanese.. but i really feel happy whenever i have Japanese Breakfast in my home town.

Thank you so much for people who came to see op.disc show case "hub" on 24th of November at Osaka SUNSUI and 25th @ UNIT Tokyo. So many peole came to see our show and they made really really good mood and atmosphere in the club for both shows and It was really good party I think. It was a great success for all of us. I hope they enjoyed it. いやー、高松最高でした。会場は今回のツアーの中でも一番小さかったし集客も３０人ぐらいだったと思うんですけど、音も凄くクリアで鳴りが良かったし、何よりも来てくださった皆が凄く盛り上げてくれて、そのおかげもあって自分でも今回のツアーで一番のライヴができたと思ってます。ホントにオーディエンスに助けられました。正直あんなに盛り上がると思ってなかったw。Caffe K's museに来てくださった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。オーガナイザの藤田さんと岩崎さん、DJの皆さん、スタッフの皆さん、ありがとうございました。楽しかったし、美味しかった！
Takamatsu is in the SHIKOKU island which is one of the big islands of Japan and I visited there for the first time. Caffe K's muse is a small cafe but they have small but really good sound systems and I really enjoyed it's sound. I heard my sound very clearly. I saw all the people were dancing and screeming ;-) and they told me that they enjoyed my show very much. I'd like to say thank you to all the people there and Fujita-san, Iwasaki-san, all the DJs and staffs. It was a very good party. I think I did the best show in this tour so far.
いよいよ２４日大阪SUNSUI、２５日東京UNITです。みんなガンガン踊って日本を盛り上げていきましょー。

仙台のレコードショップSTORE15NOVの主催で行われたパーティーに出演させていただいてきました。１８日のclub GHETTOに来てくださった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。オーガナイザのAOYAMAさん、KAGAYAMAさん、AYAKOさんをはじめ、参加されていたアーティスト全員とclub GHETTOに感謝したい。皆さん、ありがとうございました。去年は初雪が命中した事もあって集客がかなり厳しかったんですけど、今年は何とか去年よりも多くの方々に来てもらえて本当に嬉しかった。みんな楽しんでもらえたかな。女の子率も増えてたみたいでよかった！;-)
I had a show in Sendai at club Ghetto which was organized by a record shop called STORE15NOV on 18th of Nov. I'd like to say thank you to Mr.AOYAMA who organized this party and also KAGAYAMA, AYAKO, all the artists who played there and club Ghetto. and of course all the people who came to this party too. thank you all. Sendai is in north part of Japan and they don't really have big electronic music scene there, and people are so shy ;-) so I felt a bit difficult when i was playing because they don't give me any reaction during my show. Actually They were listening but they don't really express themselves. This is Japanese. Anyway, that means i need more improvement in my LIVE set to make shy people excited ;-)
翌日大阪に帰る前に、AOYAMAさん、KAGAYAMAさん、AYAKOさんに松島に連れて行ってもらいました。地名は何度も何度も聞いた事があったけど、今まで行った事なかったから楽しかったなー。でも毎回日本に帰ってくる度に思うんですが、僕たち日本人ってホンマにどんどん物凄い勢いで大切なモノを失っていってる気がするんですよね。アイデンティティが無くなるって物凄く悲しい事やと思うな。もっと昔の日本を知っていきたいです。小津安二郎の映画とか見てると、今の日本人が失ったモノの大きさを痛感します。このムービーに出てくる日本人女性の着物なんて、ホントに美しいし品がある.... 日本人にしか作れないような音楽を作っていければ良いな。前回のエントリーでご紹介した上村さんの作品やkohei君のDJ setが持ってる緻密さと品位って、日本人にしかできない事の一つやと思うんですよね。
The next day we went to the place called Matsushima that is very famous place as a sight seeing spot where I had never been before. Whenever i come back to Japan, I alway feel that we Japanese are loosing something very important sooo fast.. We're loosing our identity and this makes me really sad. I really wanna know about old Japanese things. Whenever i see movies by Yasujiro Ozu, I become painfully aware of what we've lost already. You can tell what we've lost from this movie. I wanna make music which only Japanese cam make. << Does it make sense what i wrote here??

11月10日の名古屋と11日の金沢でのライヴが終わって、昨日から妹が住む長野に来てます。今日はゆっくり休みました。自然が身近にあるってやっぱり良いなー。紅葉って物凄い現象ですね。。
Now I'm in Nagano where my sister lives after the show in Nagoya on 10th and Kanazawa on 11th of November. It's really beautiful place. I really love this place. I think there are many things here which you cannnot find in the city side. You should visit Nagano when you have a chance.

"A DAY DUB" at Social Kanazawa
名古屋の翌日１１日は金沢でライヴやったんですけど、僕のうっかりで名古屋のホテルに電車のチケットを忘れてしまって、、２時間遅刻で金沢に到着。。名古屋では谷口君とヒエイさんにご迷惑をおかけしたし、金沢のオーガナイザの朝本さんやイベント関係者にもご迷惑をおかけして、、すいませんでした。。何とか間に合ってライヴの前に予定されてた徳井君とのトークショウに参加。いつも通りユル〜イ感じでしたけど、皆さんには楽しんでもらえたかな。ライヴはちょっとミスもあったけど、何とか許容範囲内でまとめられたと思います。金沢でもまたまた予想以上の集客でホントに嬉しかった。。雨の中来てくださった皆さんと、オーガナイザの朝本さん、参加されたアーティスト、徳井君、Socialのスタッフの皆さんに感謝したい。みんな本当にありがとう。楽しかったなー。
I was supposed to get on the train which leaves around 15:00 from Nagoya to Kanazawa, but i forgot my train tickets at the hotel and I arrived at Kanazawa about two hours late.. I'm so sorry about it.. Anyway, we had a talk show before our LIVE in Kanazawa. It was really interesting moment. We talked about our music and some technical stuff and had some questions from audience. There were also many people more than i was expecting (again, but it's true!) in Kanazawa too, and I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came even in the rain, Mr.Asamoto who organized this party, all the artists include Nao Tokui, and also people who works at the venue. It was a really good party.
ライヴが終わった後に徳井君がお茶漬け屋さんに連れて行ってくれた。美味しかったなー。ヤッホー。店のオッチャンが突然叫ぶからびっくりした。
After the show, Nao took me to the special restaurant that they only serve one dish called "Ochazke" which is Japanese traditional really simple home cooking. The master of this restaurant randomly screems in the small restaurant when we were eating ;-) and it made me surprised very much...
イベントの翌日は朝本さん、徳井君、僕の３人で金沢２１世紀美術館へ。もっと金沢に滞在したかったなー。次回はもっとゆっくり来たい。
金沢から長野に行く電車が途中で壊れたんですよ。トンネルの中で降りる事になって、なんかすげー特殊な体験しました。あんな場所行く機会なんて滅多にないなって思って。結構楽しかった。
On the way to Nagano from Kanazawa, the train stopped many times because of some problems of the car. and Finally we had to get off the train in the middle of tunnel.. I've never had such things before so.. It was quite rare situation. It was fun though.

いよいよPARABOLICA tour が１１月３日の福岡でのotonohaを皮切りにスタートしました。今回僕に福岡でのライヴのチャンスを与えてくれたオーガナイザの尾崎君をはじめ、otonohaのスタッフ全員に感謝したい。みんな本当にありがとう！素晴らしパーティーでした。実は今まで海外のアーティストや日本の有名なアーティストのサポートでイベントに出た事はあっても、自分がメインになってパーティーに参加するのは初めてだったんですね(日本では)。正直言って集客に凄く不安があったんですけど、今回の福岡では予想以上のお客さんに来ていただいて本当に嬉しかった。今回の福岡のイベントに来てくださった皆さん、ホントにありがとう。この後のパーティーも同じように沢山の人たちに来てもらえると良いな。LIVE reviewsにも写真をいくつかアップしました。

一発目のライヴにしてはかなりいい感じでまとめられたと思います。いくつかミスもあったけど、オーディエンスのみんなの雰囲気にも助けられて本当に気持ち良く音が出せた気がします。素晴らしい仕事をしてくださったKieth Flackのエンジニアの方やお店の方々にもホントに感謝したい。でもなんと言っても今回のMVPはmori君やねw。やっぱり僕福岡大好きやなー。また行きたい。それにしても１１月やのに、、暖かすぎますね。。温暖化が本気で進んでる気がするな....

Lyon良かったですよ。楽しかったです。イベント自体は平日の夜って事もあってお客さんは３０人ぐらいでしたけど、それでもみんな凄く盛り上がってくれて、ノリノリで踊ってくれてました。もっとお客さん呼べるようになって次回は恩返しできるようにしたいなー。今回もいつも通り本当に素晴らしい人たちに出会えました。今回Lyonでのライヴの機会をくれたclafootiのZEFとスタッフ全員に感謝。
It was my first visit but I spent really good time in Lyon. I'd like to say thank you to ZEF who gave me a chance to perform in Lyon and all the people from clafooti. They are wonderful people.
When i did LIVE, There were not so many people in the club but i felt that most of the people were dancing. I hope they enjoyed it. I hope i can bring more people to the show next time. thanks all.

ギリシャのアテネにおけるファッション、デザイン、音楽イベントなどの様々なアートシーンをリードしてるBIOS。その３周年を祝うBirthday Partyに光栄にも招待されて、アテネでバッチリLIVEさせてもらってきました。今回この機会を与えてくれたBIOSのスタッフ全員と、イベントに来てくれた全ての人たち、またそこで知り合った刺激的な人たち全員に感謝したい。上の写真は港からの夕焼け。今回ギリシャに初めて行かせてもらって、行く前から友人達が『夕焼けを見た方が良い』って言ってくれてた理由がはっきり分かりましたね。素晴らしい５日間でした。
BIOS which leads fasion, design, and music or many kinds of other art scene in Greece gave me a chance to perform in Athens this time. I've been ther first time and I really really like this city.. It's special place. I felt it. Anyway, i'd like to say THANK YOU! to all the people who works for BIOS especially Vassilis and Christos, and all the people who came to see my LIVE show, and also all the exciting people i met. I took the photo above from the port. I really loved the sunset in Athens.
BIOSの建物です。古い工場後を改造して、カフェ、コンサートホール、シアター、デザインオフィスなど様々な文化スペースがセットされてる。雰囲気は申し分ない。宿泊施設もあって、今回僕もそこに泊めてもらいました。偶然にもちょうど僕が泊まった部屋は、COMME des GARCONS Guerrilla Store の一部。お店として使用されてる部分のドアの一つが僕が泊まった部屋の入り口だったんですよ。なんかラッキー。しかもその店長さんが僕のファンの方で、ビックリやら嬉しいやらでなんか変な感じでした。思わずニット買ってしまう....
This is a BIOS building. They said that it used to be an old factory and now they have cafe, concert venue, movie theater, office and so on. It's really good atmosphere and I really liked it. and they also have guest rooms which I stayed this time. By coincidence, there was also a COMME des GARCONS Guerrilla Store just by the room where i stayed. This must be quite rare thing. and i couldn't stop myself buying a sweater...
で、本題のライヴは、、ちょっと課題の残る結果でしたね。。言い訳になってしまうんですけど、僕たちの音ってホントにその会場のサウンドシステムに左右されるんですよね... 会場の残響が凄くて、なかなか難しいライヴになりました。あと曲の展開とかももう少し考えないとなーって思いましたね。それでも反応してくれる人が多かったので凄く嬉しかった。
My performance this time was... ,to be honest, not really good. I don't mean to make an excuse, but my kind of sound is heavily dependent on sound systems of the venue, and this time my sound didn't really fit there... I need find some solutions about this problems..mmm.
Still some people said to me that it was good after the show.. I felt that I was saved a bit. thank you all.
３周年を祝うパーティーという事もあって、みんなスゲー楽しそうに盛り上がってました。バーもカフェも感じ良いし、売ってる飲み物も美味しかった。センス良いなー。普段こういう場所でアジア人を全然見ないからなのか、みんなジロジロ見てくる:-)
It was a really good party. Happy Birhday BIOS! They all look really happy. I really love this cafe and bar. They have excellent taste in many fields. I guess, Not so many Asian come to this kind of party in Athens, so people looked at us so often ;-) We must be rare existences for them ;-)
真ん中の気の良い兄ちゃんがBIOSのボスのVassilis. すげー良い人。素なんですよね。センス良いし。
さっきも書いたけどアテネは夕焼けが奇麗って色々な人から聞いてて、行ってみたらホンマにその通りでした。街と自然の割合が良い感じやなって思いました。街中、いや国中が遺跡だらけなんで、新しい建物をガンガン建てるワケにもいかないからかもしれないけど。そういえば滞在中は毎日夕焼け見に行った。そしたらなんか体中が風と光で洗われた気がした。
Some of my friends told me before i went there that Sunset in Greece was amazing. and It was true... Incredible.. I went to see susent every evening while i stayed there. I felt like i was washed by light and confortable wind. what a experience.
食べる前に写真撮ろう！って思ってたのに、美味しそうだったんでそれも忘れて速攻で食べてしまって、、食べさしですけど、すいません。。野菜が凄い！プラスチック製のプロダクトみたいな感じじゃなくて、ちゃんとした本物の野菜でした。美味い。コレが当たり前なんですけどね。。
I was thinking about taking photo of those food before i eat, but once they brought them on our table, I forgot to shoot and started eating...So sorry about this.. Well they have really really good vegetables in Greece! taste and look different! That was real vegetable. This is what i want.
アテネは野良犬？が多いみたいなんですけど、みんな首輪付けてたりしてて、どうもその辺の地域の人みんなで飼ってるっていうか野放しにしてるって感じなのかもしれない。犬たちも人間に対して全然警戒心とか持ってないし。みんな幸せそう。
ゼウスの神殿遺跡で生まれ育ってる子犬。どうか健康に育ってなー。
今回も沢山の刺激的な人たちと知り合えて本当に嬉しかったなー。脳に新しい刺激がガンガン入って来てるのを実感できる気がしてました。行った事ない場所に行くって良いですね。その度に新しい視点を得れる気がする。
I met so many exciting people there this time again. and I had really really good time there. I love Athens. I felt that i got a lot of stimulation into my brain. It's really good to visit somewhere I've never been, I alway get another new persepctive whenever i do this.
そう言えばBIOSのカフェで本読んでたら、あるギリシャ人に『何読んでるの？』って言われて、ジョージ・オーウェルの"1984年 "を見せたら、ちょうどその彼もその本を読み始めた所って。こんな偶然あるんですね。この本凄くお勧めです。今の世界と照らし合わせて読むと興味深い。こういう本を読む人が増えてるって事なのか、ただの偶然なのか。
By the way, when i was reading "NINETHEEN EIGHTY-FOUR" written by George Orwell, one guy talked to me and said that he also started reading it. What a coincidence. This book is really interesting if you compare to the real world. I feel like Big borother is already there.

７月５日からNUIT BLEUEというフェスティバルに参加するために少しパリを離れてました。このフェスティバルはフランスのDIJONっていう街からさらに電車でスイスの国境近くまで行った辺りにある、Arc et Senansっていうユネスコの世界遺産にも登録されている建物で５年前から行われているイベントです。写真ではイマイチこの場所の凄さが伝わらないのでちょっと残念ですが、僕にとってはかなりunusualな場所で、凄く刺激的な５日間を過ごさせてもらいました。この場をお借りして、この二日間に渡って行われたイベントに来てくださった全ての皆さんと、スタッフ全員、オーガナイザのLionelと David、さらに今回コラボレーションさせてもらった音楽家Cristophe Ruetshに感謝の気持ちをお伝えしたい。本当に楽しかったし、凄く良い勉強になりました。LIVE reviewsに写真もアップしたので、そちらも是非。
I was away from Paris since 5th of July to join the festival called NUIT BLEUEat the place called Arc et Senans that is named to the UNESCO list of world heritage. Unfortunately I can't really show you how unusual that place is with the photo above. However I spent really exciting 5days there, and I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see this festival, all the staffs who worked for this, Lionel and David who mainly organized this event, and Mr.Cristophe Ruetsh who's a musician and we worked together this time. Merci beaucoup! I spent really really good time and learned a lot of things there. I also uploaded some photos on LIVE reviews.
Arc et Senansのウェブのトップページの写真で見てもらえるように、ココは凄く西洋的なシンメトリックな感じで全てが構成されています。この地方に住んでた（その当時としては）物凄く独創的な建築的発想を持った貴族の人が作った建築物で、昔は塩工場として使われてたそうです。僕がいた時は時々雨も降ったけど基本的にずっと天気も良かったのでいい感じでした。宿泊施設もこの中やったんですよ。これまたunusualな部屋でした。
このイベントでは毎回会場にそれぞれ特性の違った５０発のスピーカを配置して、音楽家のSebastien Chatron, Jonathan Prager, Christophe Ruetsh, Federico Schumacherの４人が、参加アーティストとのコラボレーションという形で僕たちが出した音をそれらのスピーカを使ってオーディエンスに聴いてもらっているんです。僕もライヴの２日前から現地入りして、その環境に慣れる為に色々頑張りました。写真でも分かるように会場が物凄く広くて天井が高いので、会場の持つ残響が物凄くて、しかもスピーカ５０発.... 音楽を作っている方ならある程度ご理解いただけると思うけど、とにかく物凄く難しくて、物凄くチャレンジングでした。自分の音が、自分が普段聴いてる音とは全く違う感じで鳴るんです。。最初は戸惑いました。そういう環境なので、今回はとにかくリズムは避けて、ユル〜イ感じの曲でライヴに挑む事にしました。stop.ROKKASHO.orgにアップしたher_next_morningみたいな感じの曲です。
They use 50 speakers in the venue and 4 musicians such as Sebastien Chatron, Jonathan Prager, Christophe Ruetsh and Federico Schumacher controle this sound system and play the sound from artists. As you can see from the photo above, it is really huge place and it has really strong reverb inside the venue. People who make music might understand how hard it is.. ;-) and even more, they use 50 speakers. My music sounds really different from what i usually listen, it was very difficult and also a big challenge for me. So I didn't use much drum sound this time, and I decided to play something ambient, like "her_next_morning" on stop.ROKKASHO.org.
５０発のスピーカをコントロールするためのコンソールと、それをコントロール中のFederico Schumacher。フェーダー多過ぎ ;-) 去年までに参加してたアーティストは皆ステレオ２mix（CDと同じ状態です）をこのコンソールに送って、ミキサーである彼らに任せていたそうですが、今回僕はステレオ３つ（６パラアウト）をコンソールに送って、ある程度立体的な音響を作れるようにやってみました。最初の二日間はホンキでどうなる事かと思ったけど、最終的にはかなり納得のいく雰囲気を作り出せたと思います。それもこれも、今回僕のライヴの時のミキシングを担当してくれたChristophe Ruetshとスタッフ全員のおかげです。
Federico Schumacher controles huge complex of mixers. They use this system to control 50 speakers. There are sooo many faders.. They usually receive 1 stereo sound from the artists who play at there, but this time i sent them 3 stereos(6 separated sounds) to make 3D sound. I really felt difficult in the first two days, but we finally found some solutions and they worked really good way. I need to thank to all the staffs and Christophe Ruetsh who helped me a lot to find the best way.

この写真でお分かりいただけるように、会場にはビーチで寝転んだりするような椅子とか、マットが敷き詰められていて、みんなそこで寝転んだり、好きなように移動したりしながら音楽を聴くんですよ。僕はライヴで必死でしたけど、皆すげー楽しそうでしたよ。羨ましい、、僕も寝転びながら自分の音楽を立体音響で聴いてみたかった...
As you can see above, most of the people were lying down on the floor and some people were walking around the venue and looking for the best position to listen to the music. I was struggling on my performance but people looked having some fun. I envy them a lot ;-) I also wanted to hear my sound like that..
Christophe Ruetshが僕の音に即座に反応して、常にベストな感じでミキシングしてくれた。オーディエンスからの反応も凄くよくて、皆楽しんでもらえたみたいで本当に嬉しかった。
Christophe Ruetsh did really really great mixing work during my whole show. I got a lot of good feed back from audience and I was really really glad to hear that.
今回僕のライヴ時のミキシングをしてくれたChristophe Ruetshさん。今回会場で彼に会った時に『この人とはどっかで会った事がある。。』ってずっと思ってたんですね。それで色々話をしてたら、実は６年前に彼が京都でコンサートを行った時に、僕は客として彼のパフォーマンスを観に行ってたんです。僕は友人から誘われて観に行ったので、誰が演奏してたのかは覚えてなかったんですが、そのパフォーマンスも複数のスピーカを使ったもので、凄く刺激的やったのを覚えてたんです。何たる偶然（必然？）.... 変な縁ってあるんですね。。Merci beaucoup Christophe!
MR.Christophe Ruetsh who did mixing for me this time. When i met him at the venue, I thought I had met him once before somewhere.. But i couldn't remember..then we talked a bit and finally found out that i went to his LIVE performance 6 years ago in Kyoto. Actually one of my friends took me there, so i didn't really remember who it was, but the show was really amazing and i remember that they also used many speakers at there too. what a coincidence... Merci beaucoup Christophe!
今年のNUIT BLEUEには、僕以外にもraster notonからFrank Bretschneiderさんも参加。彼のミキシングはSebastien Chatronが担当しました。シンプルなパルス音を多用したリズムをメインに、オシロスコープを現代的なグラフィックで表現した映像と合わせてのライヴ。かなり男前なライヴをやってくれました。すげー良い人。
Frank Bretschneider from raster noton also played at this year's NUIT BLEUE and Sebastien Chatron did mixing for him. It was really good show. He used simple and strong pulse sound rhythm with beautiful images on the screen. Great show.
今回も本当に楽しかったし、良い勉強をさせてもらったし、沢山の素晴らしい人たちに出会いました。凄く良いイベントでしたよ。今年の僕はあんまり人気なくて、これからしばらく年末までライヴもありません。このチャンスを利用してちょっとゆっくり休んだり、色々吸収したり、リミックスしたり、新曲作ったりしようかな。楽しみ。
It was really great festival and I had really good time, I learned a lot, and I met sooo many great people there. From now i don't have many shows until in the end of this year, so I'm planning to do some remix and making new songs and etc. I'm looking forward to it.
僕の大好きなF1ドライバー、モントーヤがF1を離れる事に、、もう彼のアグレッシブな走りをF1で見れないと思うと、、残念です。。

今日大阪に帰ってきました。なんか移動ばっかりでちょっと疲れたけど、でもその価値が十分ある充実した数日間でした。１２日に参加させてもらったNIKEのイベントに来てくださった皆さん、ありがとうございました。予想通りかなりアウェイな感じでしたけど、普段僕が出るイベントにはなかなか来てもらえないようなお客さんの前でライヴをさせてもらう事ができて凄く嬉しかった。実際あのテの音楽を初めて聴いた人も多かったみたいで、不評で終わるかなーって思ってたんですけど意外と評判が良くてなんか嬉しかった。僕のライヴの途中で周辺住民方々から苦情が入ったみたいで、ガツンと音量が下がってしまったんです。まあしょうがないので途中でライヴを中断して、最後にQuickTimeで『see that girl』を流してみました。それが結構良かったのかな。まあ楽しかったです。この場をお借りして今回僕にこのチャンスをくださった藤川さん、オーガナイザの皆さん、関係者全員、来てくださった全ての方々と友人達にお礼をお伝えします。ありがとうございました。LIVE reviewsもアップしておきました。
I cama back to Osaka today. I've been moving and traveling around many places in these past few days, so I'm really tired now..But I spent really really good time and now I'm really satisfied with those busy days. By the way, I did LIVE in Ohsaki Tokyo on 12th in NIKE's event, and I enjoyed it very much. and many people told me that they also enjoyed it and that's what i wanted to hear ;-) I'm glad that they enjoyed it too. Unfortunately we got complaint from people who live around the venue and we had to turn it down in the middle of my performance, so I gave up doing LIVE and played "see that girl" at the end like a DJ. I think it worked. Anyway, I'd like to say thank you to Fujikawa-san who gave me a chance to play there this time, and thank you to all the people who came, all my friends, everybody who worked there and organizers. Thank you very much.LIVE reviews is updated too.
今回久しぶりに何日か東京に滞在する時間があって、散歩しながら色々と写真を撮ったのでそれをアップしておきます。東京ってほんまに不思議な街。海外に長く住んでるせいか、日本特有な部分が凄くはっきり分かる気がする。ちょっとベタやけど、そんな写真をいくつか。
This time I had some spare time to look around Tokyo after a long time, so I walked around there and took some photos. Now I noticed that Tokyo is really unique city. Maybe I spent quite long time outside of Japan, that's why i think this way thought.. Here are some of my favorite photos from there.
東京の後はそのまま妹が住む長野に行ってきました。小布施っていう街と妹が住む三水っていう所と渋温泉。いずれも素晴らしい環境でした。。また行きたい。日本人で良かった！って再確認できた気がする。
I went to Nagano where my sister lives after Tokyo. I went to Obuse,Samizu and Shibu-Onsen. It was amazing atmosphere.. I wanna go there again..
先日僕が出演させていただいたA.D.podcastingが早くもアップされました。収録の時に３人でかなり盛り上がってしまって収録時間が１時間半ぐらいになってしまったので、３回に分けてアップされるそうです。それの２回目。あともう１回あるみたい。そちらも是非チェックしてみてください。

昨日は昔からの友人でアーティストの堀尾カンタ君のお誘いをいただいて、東京工芸大 の『総合メディア特論』という授業に出て学生さんの前で話をする機会をいただいた。カンタ君ありがとう！僕の話が学生さん達の良い刺激になれば良いなって思ったんですが、、どうやったかな。。直接学生さん達と話もできたし、凄く楽しい時間を過ごさせてもらった。聴講してくださった皆さん、ありがとう。その後にちょこっとライヴもさせてもらいました。またこういう機会があったら是非やってみたい。
Yesterday, i did talk and LIVE at Tokyo Kougei University. One of my friends Kanta Horio who's a media artist gave me a chance to do this and I had really interesting time there. Thank you Kanta! I hope those students felt something special from it. and I also did short LIVE at there too. It was fun to talk to many student. I'd like to do it again if i have another chance.

After talk + LIVE at University, i joined the recording of A.D.podcasting which is run by Komine-san and Watanabe-san who organize a label called AsianDynasty. We updated our sync podcast just few minutes ago. This time we broadcast my LIVE recording from the party called CHAOS in Tokyo on 3rd of May. It's recorded with microphone and we converted it into mp3, so it sounds bad, but i hope you feel the atmosphere of my LIVE from it. さすがに久しぶりの二日連続のライヴは結構辛かったけど、大阪でも東京でも今自分ができる最大限のライヴができたと思うし、与えられたチャンスを十分に生かせた気がします。今までPowerBook２台とミキサー、オーディオインターフェイス、MIDIコントローラだけのシンプルなセットでライヴをしてたんですね、でも今回は思い切ってデビュー前ぐらいの機材セットに戻してライヴをやってみたんです。それが結構良い方向に作用したんじゃないかなと思ってます。自分でもやってて楽しかった。お越しいただけた皆さん、ありがとうございました。楽しんでもらえましたでしょうか？また是非ご感想など聞かせてくださいね。この場をお借りして、来てくださった皆さん、イベントに関係した全てのスタッフの方々、今回僕にライヴのチャンスをくださった田中フミヤさん、タロウさんに感謝！ありがとうございました。このライヴの一部抜粋をNao Tokui君とのポッドキャスト『sync podcast』で公開予定です。 そちらも是非！
It was a bit hard to do two shows in two straight nights on 2nd (Osaka) and 3rd (Tokyo) of May for the party called CHaOS which is organized by Japanese techno DJ Fumiya Tanaka who runs op.disc. I think I've done quite good LIVE there this time. I'm quite satisfied with those two shows. I've been using only two PowerBooks, audio mixer and MIDI controler for my LIVE set because I wanted to make it as simple as possible, but this time I use many hardwares after a long interval and I think It worked this time. I enjoyed it very much. I'd like to say thank you very much for all the people who came to see my shows, all the people who worked for this event, and especially Fumiya Tanaka and taro who gave me a chance to perform there. I'm planning to broadcast a part of this LIVE recording at sync podcast with Nao Tokui. Please check it!

2月10,11日にベルギーのHasseltっていう街で行われたfatcat主催のフェスティバルでの写真をLIVE reviewsにアップしておきました。ちょっと遅くなったけど。この場を借りて会場に来てくださったオーディエンスの皆さん、fatcat records、会場となったKunstencentrum BELGIEのスタッフの皆さんにお礼をお伝えします。ありがとうございました。このイベントは正に十人十色って感じで、様々なスタイルを持ったアーティスト達がそれぞれの個性を爆発させてた感じがしました。ほんと色んな人がいるなー、価値観も様々。良い勉強になりました。自分達のライヴはまあまあの結果やったと思います。途中上からビールが落ちて来るっていうハプニングもあったけど、機材にビールがかからなくて良かった。このイベントで４年ぶりにCom.A君に会った! ３人で大爆笑。
そう言えばfatcatのウェブで去年の10月28日にロンドンでやった僕とツジコのライヴ音源が聴けるそうです。右上のプルダウンから"Radio Show"を選択してみてください。あのライヴはまあまあ良かったと思うけど、でもやっぱりライヴ録音ってなんかちょっと恥ずかしい。
I updated the review of fatcat festival in Hasselt Belgium on my LIVE reviews. First of all, I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see our show there, and also thank you to fatcat and all the people who worked for Kunstencentrum BELGIE. There were so many different kinds of musicians there and i enjoyed their differences.
By the way, now you can listen to me and Tujiko's LIVE which was recorded at THE LUMINAIRE in London on 28th of October 2006 on fatcat web. It was not a perfect show but i think it still works. I hope you enjoy it.
ACO "MASK" on Ki/oon SONY 22nd Feb.2006
以前blogにも少し書きましたけど、ACOの新しいアルバムに僕とACOがやったカヴァー曲が収録されてて、それが2006年2月22日にKi/oon SONY からリリースされるそうです。カヴァーしたのは"The Waitresses"っていうバンドの"I Know What Boys Like"で、いつも通りノリノリな感じに仕上がったと思ってます。”にゃーにゃー”が良い感じ。結構頑張ったので是非チェックしてみてください。
A Japanese female singer ACO is going to release a new album on Japanese major label Ki/oon SONY and I did a cover work on track 3. This will be released on 22nd of February 2006 but Unfortunately as always I don't think this will be distributed in other countries except Japan. The original song "I Know What Boys Like" was composed by the band called "The Waitresses". I made it bit more funky as always. I hope you like it. I love they way ACO sings "nya, nya, nya..."
昨日やっとop.discからリリース予定の12inch用の曲が仕上がった。。。techno作るのって難しいですね。。ほんま良い勉強になりました。もっと頑張ります。

今日ウェブのニュースで知ったんですが、African-AmericanのShany Davisさんっていう人が黒人で始めてスケートで金メダルを取った。アイススケートとか水泳とかって黒人の選手を全然見ないからよほど差別があるんやろうなって思ってたんですけど、このニュースを聞いてなんか凄く嬉しかった。ヨーロッパでも人種差別を露骨に感じる事が多い。（この記事に関しても、2月19日の時点では英語での記事が見当たらなかった）アジア人も黒人も、頑張って白人の舞台にガッツリ食い込んでいって欲しい。皆お互いを認め合って、それぞれの違いを理解して、もっと自由に表現できる世界になれば良いな。そういえばF1にも黒人ドライバ−はいない。黒人がF1の世界に食い込んでくるようになれば、きっとまた様々な記録が塗り替えられるやろうな。F1にはもっとFUNKが必要やな。日本人も頑張れ！

I found the news which said African-American Mr.Shany Davis got a GOLD medal on speed skate 1000m in TORINO Olympic. This is the first time African-American got GOLD medal on this category. What a great news. I realized that so far I haven't seen any Black people who does ice skate or swimming competition, so was guessing that there might be some color discrimination or something, but i was so glad to hear this news. Unfortunately I couldn't find English news for this( I found it in Japanese). I hope there'll be no color discrimination in any place and we can express themselves freely and respect and udersntad each differences. By the way i don't see any African F1 driver so far either... I'm sure they'll make incredible new records if they come to F1! We need more FUNK in F1 too.

ご無沙汰してました。2006年最初のLIVE reviewは、パリのセーヌ川に浮かぶLa Guinguette Pirateで１月11日に行われた僕とツジコノリコとのライヴです。この日はあいにくの雨にもかかわらず沢山の方々に来てもらえていつも通り本気で嬉しかった。2006年最初のライヴとしては大成功やったと思います。来てくださった皆さんをはじめ、オーガナイザのClement, Marinaに感謝します。ありがとうございました。僕もツジコも最近何度か二人でのライヴを重ねた事もあって、毎回お互いが少しずつ進歩しているのを感じます。なかなか満足のいくパフォーマンスになりました。オーディエンスの反応も凄く良かった。
It's been a while. The first LIVE review in 2006 is me and Tujiko Noriko's LIVE at La Guinguette Pirate on the Seine river on 11th of January. Unfortunately it was rainning quite hard in that evening, but i was super glad (as always) that so many people came to see our show even in such a bad weather. I know we still have some parts to be more progressed, but I'm sure we've done quite a good show this time and I really enjoyed it myself. I hope people who came to see our show also felt the same. I'd like to say thank you to all the people on the boat and also Clement and Marina who organized this event. Massive thanks to you all. I feel that we're getting better and better everytime.
今月はこの他にもAOKI takamasa + Tujiko Norikoでルーマニアのブカレストにあるmnacでのライヴ（1月29日）もあるし、２月10日にはベルギーのHasseltで開かれるfatcat records主催のフェスティバルopen circuit にも参加する予定です。ルーマニアもベルギーも行った事ないので楽しみ。なんか美味しいもんあるかな。
We still have another show in this month which is at mnac in Bucharest Romania, and also another one on 10th of February which is called open circuit organized by fatcat records. Please come when you have a chance. I've never been to both countries, so I'm really looking forward to it. We'll do our best.

I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see my LIVE at Apple Store Ginza Tokyo. I hope you enjoyed it. To be honest, i wasn't expecting that much but So many people came to this event. I usually do LIVE to make people dance, but this time it was a bit difficult situation because this venue was like a theater so most of the people were sitting . However I think I've done something suitable for that place.

I've finished all my LIVE schedules for this year. また大当たりでした。仙台はすげー雪。。前日まで晴れてたそうなんですけど、、命中してしまいました。。そのせいもあってお越しいただけなかったお客さんも結構おられたとの事。僕ってホントにいつも天候に恵まれないんですよね。でもまあ雪が奇麗やったし、自分でもある程度納得のいくライヴができたし、オーガナイザの皆さんやあんな天候の中お越しいただいた皆さんには楽しんでいただけたと聞いて凄く嬉しかった。この場をお借りして、１０日の仙台に来てくださった皆さん、オーガナイザの青山さん、カゲヤマさん、マイコさんにお礼をお伝えします。ありがとうございました。牛タン定食すげー美味かった。また仙台行きたい。
It was snow in Sendai.. I always have some problem with the weather like this.. typhoon in Osaka, storm in NY and snow in Sendai.. They said some people couldn't come to my show at Sendai because of this snow on 10th. However, It was nice that snow was really beautiful and I think I've done quite good LIVE and also some people told me that they enjoyed it. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see my LIVE at there even in such a bad condition, and also Thank you to Mr.Aoyama, Mr.Kageyama, and Maiko-san who organized this event. I'd like to go there again someday.
次は１４日のApple銀座です。今回の帰国最後のライヴになります。どんなライヴしようかな。。まだ悩んでます。あー、もう年末。今年は速かったなー。来年F1はV8になるから、ちょっと遅くなるのが残念。。

今日っていうか昨日福岡から帰ってきました。さすがに３日連続のライヴは効いたけど、この１２月最初の週末はこれからも忘れる事ができないぐらい強烈に印象的な週末になりました。
１２月２日の大阪SUNSUI, ３日の東京UNITでのop.disc 日本初のShowCaseは大成功でした。イベントに来てくださった皆さん、関係者の皆さん、アーティストの皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。ホントに大勢の皆さんにお越しいただいて、今まで皆で地道に頑張って来た事がココで報われた気がしました。これからも更に上を見て、志高く、皆で力を合わせてこのレーベルを日本が世界に誇るレーベルにまで持って行きたいと思ってます。それには日本のリスナーの皆さんのサポートが絶対に欠かせません。これからも応援宜しくお願いします。何度も言うけど、ほんと団体戦で勝った気分です。楽しかった。皆さんも楽しんでいただけましたでしょうか？ そうあって欲しい。近々LIVE reviewに写真をアップさせていただきます。是非チェックしてみてください。でもその前にちょっと休憩したい。。
I just came back from Fukuoka today(i mean yesterday). To be honest, it was really tough weekend for me because i had 3 shows for a 3rd straight days at different places, but it was really impressive weekend I've ever had before.
op.disc showcase at Osaka and Tokyo was great success and soooo many people came to see those two shows. I'd like to say massive thank you to all the people who came to see those shows, all the people who involved and also all the artists who perform for this event. another massive thanks.
Now we really wanna bring this 100% Japanese made label to all over the world in the near future. We still have many things to overcome to realize this dream, but I'm quite sure that we can do this. But we also know that we really need your support to achieve this too. Please check this label if you have a chance. If somebody came to see our shows in Osaka and Tokyo, Please let us know what you felt. thank you so much.

Appleストア福岡でのライヴもかなり楽しかった。お店はワンフロアで見渡しも凄く良くて、ライヴしてても気持ちよかった。来てくださった皆さん、ありがとうございました。もうちょっとサウンドシステムが良かったらなーって正直思いましたけど、、まあ全力は尽くしました。この機会を与えてくださったAppleの藤川さんとAppleストア天神のスタッフの皆さんに感謝。ありがとうございました。この時の写真も近々 LIVE reviewsにアップしますね。
実は今回東京から福岡に行く際に飛行中の飛行機に雷が直撃したんですよ！もの凄い音でした。なんて言えばええかな、『パカンッ』って感じ。一瞬やったけどあんなカッコイイ音今まで聴いた事なかったです。F1のエグゾーストノートが寂しく聴こえそうなぐらいエキサイティングでした。あんな経験滅多にできない。今回の福岡は色々楽しかったし、美味しかった。
I also did LIVE at brand new Apple Store in Fukuoka on 4th of December. It was really nice place too. I really enjoyed it. To be honest i wish i could have better sound system but I did my best at there. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see at there and also Thank you to Ms Fujikawa who gave me a chance to play at there and all the staffs who work at Apple strore Tenjin Fukuoka. I'll upload some photos from this show asap on my LIVE reviews.
On the way to Fukuoka from Tokyo, I had incredible moment in the aircraft. We were struck by lightning during the flight and this sound was amazing.. It was one of the most exciting moment I've ever had before. To be honest, I prefer this sound much better than exhaust note from F1 cars...
次のライヴは１０日の仙台club ghettoです。仙台は行った事ないのですげー楽しみです。また雷落ちへんかなー。

We did LIVE at the venue called "THE LUMINAIRE" in Kilburn London on 28th of October. I'd like to say thank you to John who organized this event and all the staffs who worked for this, include Dave from fatcat records. And also Thanky you very much for all the people who came to see our show. I'm so glad that many people were their, it was more than i expected. Please tell us what you thought about our show on this blog.
この会場のサウンドシステムは２５日のSCALAよりも僕達の音に合っていたので、かなり満足のいく音質でライヴをする事ができました。僕達のようなスタイルのミュージシャンは会場のサウンドシステムによって発表の結果を大きく左右される事がかなり多いんです。これはホントどうしようもない事なんですけど、、与えられた場で出来る限り最高の仕事をするしかないですよね。
"THE LUMINAIRE" have really good sound systems and we were satisfied with our performance this time. I thought It was much better than what we've done on 25th at SCALA. SCALA had good sound systems but they are not really for our kind of music.. maybe it's good for bands. Especially musicians like me(who use laptops or electronical musical instruments) are heavily dependent on the sound systems of the venue. We can really do almost nothing about it... but all we have to do is just do our best at where we have a chance to perform.

昨日の夜にパリからロンドンに到着して、今日（２５日）Kings Cross駅の近くにあるscalaという会場でツジコノリコと一緒にANIMAL COLLECTIVEっていうバンドの前座としてライヴをやらせてもらいました。今回ロンドンに来る直前まで僕もツジコもスケジュールがタイトでなかなか一緒に練習する時間を作れなかったんですが、まあまあ良い感じのライヴができたと思ってます。他の出演者がみんなバンドなので、ラップトップとヴォーカルだけじゃちょっと劣勢かなって思ったんですが、オーディエンスの反応もかなり良くて嬉しかった。８００人を越えるオーディエンス（ほとんどがANIMAL COLLECTIVE目当て）の前でライヴができて、今回もホント良い経験になりました。LIVE reviews にいつも通り写真をいくつかアップしたので、そちらも是非。
今回ロンドンの滞在でお世話になっているDenさんとYさん、それにfatcat recordsのDaveに感謝。ありがとうございます。
We arrived at London last night and did LIVE today(25th) at the venue called SCALA which is close to Kings Cross station. This time we played as opening act just before the band called ANIMAL COLLECTIVE's performance. Before we come to London, both me and noriko was extremely busy so that we didn't have much time to practice for the show, but I think our LIVE was quite OK. It was a really good opportunity for us to play in front of more than 800 people(most of them came to see ANIMAL COLLECTIVE though) this time. I'd like to say thank you to Den and Y who helped me a lot here in London and also Dave from fatcat records.

今日（厳密に言うと昨日、でも気分的には今日）の夕方に福岡から大阪に帰ってきました。今回は福岡を拠点に開催されているパーティー"OTONOHA"に参加させていただきました。この場を借りてライヴに来てくださった全ての方々と、オーガナイザの尾崎さん、またこのイベント関わってくれた全ての方々に感謝します。ありがとうございました。今回は先月大阪で黒川君と一緒にやったライヴでの反省点を踏まえて、かなり満足のいくライヴができたと思っています。来てくださった皆さんにもご好評をいただけて嬉しかった。あとラーメンも美味かった。
I came back from Fukuoka this evening. This time i joined a party called "OTONOHA" which is based in Fukuoka. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came and all the staffs who works for this party, especially the organaizer Mr.Ozaki. Thank you. This time i tried to look back what i did in Osaka in last month with Ryoichi Kurokawa and tried to make it better. I think it worked in a good way.

福岡に行く前日は久しぶりに会う友人達と一緒にホルモン鍋。RYOICHI KUROKAWA 君と、先日BEAMS recordsからニューアルバム"good morning"をリリースしたばかりのogurusu norihide君も合流して皆でめちゃめちゃめちゃめちゃ笑ったし鍋はやばいぐらい美味かった。ご存知の方もおられるかもしれませんが、この二人とは大学時代からの友人なんです。楽しかったー。KMCH君、YSO君、ありがとう。
The day before i went to Fukuoka, I had dinner with some of my friends include RYOICHI KUROKAWA and ogurusu norihide. it was extremely funny moment and the dinner was incredible..
後数時間でパリに向けて出発します。ウチの愛犬ともまたしばしのお別れ。。それにしても今回の滞在は今までにないぐらい刺激的だった！ 今回一緒にお仕事をさせていただいた全ての皆さんに心からお礼をお伝えしたい。ありがとうございました。今年の年末は忙しくなりそうです。。
I'm leaving Osaka in a few hours to Paris. I have to say good-bye to my dog again.. However, I had incredibly exciting moments in Japan this time.. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who worked for the event which i participated. Thank you sooo much.

We're quite satisfied with our show at Morishita Studio in Tokyo as well. I'm so glad that so many people came to see our show and all the tickets were sold out and I've heard that some people couldn't go in. 昨日大阪に戻って来て、今日からは１０月１４日に福岡で予定されているライヴの準備をします。福岡は久しぶりなので凄く楽しみ。是非お越し下さい。何食べようかな。。

YCAMでの３週間の滞在制作はホントあっという間に終わってしまって、１０月１日、２日の発表も同じくあっという間に終わってしまいました。両日ともに大勢の方々にお越しいただいて、更に沢山の方々からご好評をいただく事ができて本当に嬉しかった。お越しいただいた全ての皆さんに感謝します。ありがとうございました。僕達３人も満足のいく発表ができたと確信しています。それもこれもYCAMで働いておられる全てのスタッフの方々のおかげです。スタッフの皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。

I still can't believe that 3 weeks in YCAM was already finished.. We had the first show at YCAM on 1st and 2nd of October and they were great success. I'm glad that so many people came to see our show and so many people told us that they liked it. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see our show. We've done quite good job for those two shows and I believe that Jean-Baptiste Andre and Noriko Matsumoto also feel the same. We could do it because we had a lot of help from all the staffs who works at YCAM. Thank you so much.

YCAMのサウンドシステム、再生環境、舞台環境、映像環境はどれを取っても最高でした。残念ながらこの最高のクオリティはココYCAMでしか再現する事ができませんが、１０月８日、９日の東京公演でも出来る限りあの環境を再現できるようにスタッフの皆さんと一緒に努力しようと思っています。お時間の宜しい方は是非お越し下さい。
The Sound Systems, Environment for the sound, Enviroment for the stage and also Environment for the images for those two shows are incredible here in YCAM . Unfortunately we only can realize this special situation at only there, but we and all the staffs of YCAM will do our best as much as possible to realize that situation at our shows in Tokyo on 8th and 9th of October. １６日に１日オフをいただいて、大阪のUnagidani Sunsuiという所でRyoichi Kurokawa君とライヴをさせていただきました。この場をお借りしてライヴに来てくれた全ての皆さんと、Sunsuiのスタッフの皆さん、op.discのタロウさん、僕の友人達、それに黒川良一君にお礼をお伝えします。ありがとうございました。昨日のライヴは自分達でもかなり納得の行くものになりました。来てくださった皆さんはいかがでしたでしょうか？またご感想などいただければ嬉しいです。黒川君の映像はいつも通り超ハイクオリティで美しく、いつも通り絶妙なタイミングで僕の音に映像を合わせてくれました。やっぱり凄い！ほぼぶっつけ本番のライヴでしたけど、演奏している僕も黒川君もかなり盛り上がりました。楽しかったー。このイベントの模様は、近々LIVE reviewsとTraksyにムービーも合わせてアップされる予定です。是非チェックしてみてください。
I got one day off on 16th and went to Osaka to do LIVE with visual artist Ryoichi Kurokawa at the place called Sunsui in Osaka. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see our show and also all the staffs who work at Sunsui, Taro from op.disc, all my friends, and also Ryoichi. thank you so much. I think we've done quite good LIVE. Ryoichi's images are incredibly beautiful and high quality as always, and he controled his images perfectly fit on my sound. It was perfect. We've never practiced before the show but we had really good time. I hope people felt the same as us. I'm going to update some movies soon on my LIVE reviews and also on Traksy(Japanese only, But you still can check movies). Please check it when you have time.

昨日はツジコノリコとTower Records心斎橋店でのインストアライヴでした。あんなに沢山の人に来てもらえるとは思ってなかったから、マジでびっくりした。来てくださった皆さん、ありがとうございました。またこのイベントの実現にあたって色々と動いてくれたTowerRecords心斎橋店のスタッフの方々にもお礼をお伝えします。お店にあったCDもほとんど売れてしまって、これまたビックリ。。ライヴ前はかなり心配も多かったけど、最終的に良い感じでまとめられたと思います。１０月末のロンドンに向けていい滑り出しだったと思うし、更なる自信に繋がった。でももっと練習しないと。いつか日本も含めた世界中で満足のいく環境でライヴできると良いな。僕とツジコのライヴの前にリョウ・アライさんとのRATNのライヴもありました。
We did instore LIVE at Tower Records Shinsaibasi Osaka yesterday. I wasn't expect that a lot of audience but there were so many people there. I'd like to say thank you to all be people there. thank you. They said they got almost sold out. I was a bit worry about our LIVE because I've never done instore LIVE before and we didn't really have much time to practice for this, but i think we did quite good job this time, and we learned a lot from it. I'm sure we can do something much better for our LIVE in London in the end of October. We hope we'll have more opportunities to perform all over the world someday. Noriko and Riow Arai "RATN" played together before us.
ライヴを観に来てくれたサワイ・タエジ君がイベントを通してPAまでやってくれた。タエちゃんありがとう！ホンマ助かった。彼がいてくれた事で僕達もかなり安心してライヴに挑めました。
One of my best friends and also one of my favorite artists Taeji Sawai came to see our show and he did mixing work for us. Thank you Taeji!! He helped us a lot..
その夜はリョウ・アライさんとツジコのユニット『RATN』のイベントを観に心斎橋のApple Storeへ。ちょっと遅刻してしまったので二人のライヴは観れなかったけど、その後に以前このblogでも紹介したツジコの初監督映画『SAND AND MINI HAWAII』の上映を観て帰りました。皆さんには映画館でこの作品を観て欲しい。久しぶりに友人達とも会えて楽しかった。
In the evening I went to Apple Store Shinsaibasi to see Noriko and Riow Arai's LIVE, but i was a bit late and missed there performance. Noriko was showing her first movie which i introduced on this blog before "SAND AND MINI HAWAII". I'd like you to see it in the movie theater, to be honest.

ご無沙汰しております。昨日ポーランドから帰ってきました。ちょうどポーランドに行く直前に新居にもネットが開通して、やっと今まで通りの制作ペースに戻れそう。ネットが無かった時代（といっても１０年も経ってないですよね）はそれでも上手くいってたのに、一度便利なモノを使ってしまうとなかなかそれを生活から切り離すのは難しいですね。
It's been a while again. I came back from Poland last night. Now i have ADSL in my new appartment just before i left Paris to Poland. I think now i can keep my pace of work as usual. Before we have internet(not more than 10 years ago I think), I was doing my work without it, but now i need it.. Once we got something really useful, It's quite hard to work without it.
空港からPlockまで車で１時間半ぐらい。夕日が凄く奇麗でした。
今回僕が参加させていただいたのはInternational Festival of Music & Visuals - FeMEV というフェスティバルで、PolandのWarsawから車で１時間半ほど北西に向かった場所にあるPlockという街で開催されています。複数の会場で構成されていて、何と入場料はどの会場もタダ。太っ腹。この街にはアジア人がほとんどいないので、街歩いてると皆が僕を物珍しそうに見てました。
この場をお借りして、今回僕にこのフェスティバルに参加するチャンスを与えてくれたLukas(PALSECAM)と、ライヴの写真を撮ってくださったSatoko Fujimotoさん、それにこのイベントに関わった全てのスタッフとお越しいただいたお客さん全員にお礼をお伝えします。皆やっぱり日本語通じないけど、ありがとうございました。
This time i played in the International Festival of Music & Visuals - FeMEV in the city called Polock which is located in the north west of Warsaw and it took about an hour and half by car from Warsaw airport. They have several stages in the city by the river and all the concerts are free to enter. Wonderful. They said There's almost no asian in Plock, so most of the people on the street looked at me with a lot of curiosity. it was quite interesting experience ;-)
I'd like to say thank you to Lukas(PALSECAM) who gave me a chance to play in this festival, Satoko Fujimoto who took photos during my LIVE, all the staff who worked for this event and all the people who came to this show. thank you so much.
翌日６日の夕方がライヴやったので午前中にサウンドチェックの為会場へ。会場はポーランドで一番古い学校の中にある講演会場みたいな所で、マイク無しでも演説できるぐらいアンビエンスが凄かったんです。僕はてっきりクラブみたいな所でライヴするとばかり思ってたので、急遽スタイル変更。リズムは隙間だらけにして、なるべくドラム音の少ないセットにしました。ノリノリの気分やったのでちょっと残念。LIVE reviewsにムービーをアップさせていただきましたので、是非。
I went to the venue in the next morning for sound check. Before they showed me the venue, I thought i was going to play at the club or place like that, but it was totally different. It was an old assembly hall in the school. i was planning to play something really funky, but this place has quite strong reverb in the room and also there are so many seats like a movie theater. I was quite sure that it doesn't work in here, so i had to change my style to do the best performance in this condition. I updated my LIVE reviews and put a movie there. Please check it when you have time.
モニターはモノラルだけで会場のアンビエンスも凄かったのでスゲーモニターしにくかったですけど、やるだけの事はやりました。ホントはリズムがんがん出して皆に踊って欲しかったけど。ヨーロッパでまだまだ無名な僕には会場を選ぶ余地はまだないです。。悔しい。もっと頑張ってメインステージでライヴできるようになります。
I only had monaural monitor speaker and also the venue had really strong reverb, so it was really difficult to listen what I was playing, but i think i did my best in this condition. To be honest, I wanted to play at main floor and play strong rhythm and wanted people to dance, but I'm still totally unknown here in Europe, this means I don't have any choice at the moment. I'll try to be more famous and I'd like to play at the main floor in the near future. I have to work harder to achieve this.
僕のライヴがちょうど夕方８時ぐらいに終わったので、終わってからメイン会場の方に行ってみました。これぐらいの時間から徐々に人が集まって来てる。夜中には沢山の人で賑わってました。すげーデカイ川沿いにあるビーチにセットされてて、みんな楽しそう。
This is the main stage by the huge river. It was around 8:00 pm and people were coming around this time.
夕焼けが凄く奇麗でした。こんな景色見ながらのフェスティバルって良いですね。
It was really beautiful sunset. I feel envious a bit because they can enjoy this festival in such a nice place.
翌日は快晴。ここからは空港までの帰りのタクシーで撮った写真です。空が広いせいもあって雲がすげー立体的。
ボケーっと空を見てたら、セスナがグライダーを引っ張って飛んでました。気持ち良さそう。
運転席と助手席の間のダッシュボードにぬいぐるみが押し込まれて苦しそう。
飛行機から下ろされる自分の荷物を生まれて初めて見ました。右の黒いの。mackieのミキサーとか入ってるので『投げたらシバく』って思ってたら投げられた。防音防熱のアクリル二重窓の向こう側に文句言えなくて残念。
お伝えするのが遅れてしまいましたが先日LIVE schedules をアップさせていただきました。今回は山口県にあるYCAM という所に約１ヶ月滞在しながら、フランス人コンテンポラリーダンサーのJean-Baptiste Andreと一緒に作品を作らせていただく事になりました。その公演が１０月の頭に山口県と東京で予定されています。他にも滞在期間中にTowerRecords心斎橋店でのツジコノリコとのインストアライヴもあったり（東京でもあるかも、、）、他にもいくつかライヴをさせていただく予定です。お時間の宜しい方は是非お越し下さい。
I also updated my LIVE schedules yesterday. This time I'm going back to Japan for about 2 months and am going to stay and work together with a French contemporary dancer Jean-Baptiste Andre for about a month atYCAM in Yamaguchi prefecture. We're going to perform in Yamaguchi, Tokyo and it is not fixed yet but I think we'll perform together in Paris soon. And i also have some shows with Tujiko Noriko in Japan and UK in September and October. Please check it and please come to see our show if you have a chance.
今回のこのイベントは数年前からずっと連絡を取り合っていたベルリン在住のアーティスト（かな？）のYoskeさんが主催するイベントKOI KLUBとOnitsuka Tigerと共同に開催したイベントで、ベルリンのファッションウィークのオープニングを飾る感じの華やかなイベントになりました。会場はベルリンの東側にあるwatergate。雰囲気も出音もかなり良かったので、僕もやる気ムンムンでライヴに挑む事ができました。今回も前日まで晴れてたのに僕がベルリン入りしてすぐに大嵐。雨が真横から降って来てましたけど、なんとかお客さんも入ってくれて良かったです。ホント僕がライヴする日って天気悪い。
Anyway, This time I write about a event called "Onitsuka Tiger and KOI KLUB presents "JUMPING TIGER DIVING KOI"" which was held in Berlin last weekend. This event was organized by one of my friend Yoske who runs a party called KOI KLUB in Berlin. The fashoin week of Berlin had just started at that time, so there were so many fashion people were there and full of people. I really liked the venue "watergate" and they had good sound systems and also really nice atmosphere in the venue.

真っ白のOnitsuka Tigerを世界中のグラフィティーアーティストに彼ら独自の方法でモディファイしてもらったそうです。どれも個性的で面白い。それらの作品が会場のど真ん中に展示されてあったんです。
Yosuke asked some graffiti artists to modify those White Brand new Onitsuka shoes in their own ways. and they put those shoes in the middle of the floor. They looked really good. Everyone was unique and special.
PoleことStefanに会うのもホント久しぶり。相変わらず調子の良い感じでホントに楽しいおじさん。ライヴもノリノリでええ感じ。

今回Fat Jonとは初めて会いました。すげー感じの良い人。僕の音も気に入ってくれたみたいで良かった。DJしながらラップしたりして結構忙しいライヴセットでしたけど、ソロのDJはかなりカッコ良かった。踊らされました。
I met Fat Jon first time then. I'm glad that he liked my set. He did rapping himself when he was doing his DJ too. Looked really busy but the show was really great.
翌日は何とか晴れた（意味ない）のでベルリン観光してきました。今までベルリンってライヴで何度か行った事はあったけど、ちゃんと街をウロウロした事がなかったので今回はかなり良い時間を過ごせました。
帰りの飛行機の時間まで朝から美術館とかギャラリーとか回りまくりました。楽しかった。
It was quite nice weather in the next day (why the next day..) so I went around Berlin City. I had been here quite many times but i didn't really had a chance to look around the city so far. This time I spent quite a lot of time to looking around Gelleries and Museums. I spent really good time.
KWっていうギャラリーです。ギャラリーって場所の持つ力がかなり重要になってくると思うんです。このKWの空間ってなんか好きですね。
その後にGuggennheim。思ったよりスペースが小さくでびっくりしました。内容は大御所ばっかりでしたけど、どれも興味深かった。この後アインシュタイン博物館に行ってばっちり楽しみました。アインシュタイン博物館はすげーお勧めです。あんなのが自分の国にあったら、その国の子供達にとって凄く良い科学的な刺激になるやろうなって思いました。国土資源無いし技術と知的財産で何とか食っていかないとダメな日本にああいった施設が無いのがおかしい。日本危うし。そろそろ一般相対性理論が古くなる時代が来るかな。
ベルリンって緑が多いし、道も広いので散歩してて凄く心地いいんです。散歩してたらデカイ噴水を使ってフライ・フィッシングの練習してる人がいました。なかなか良い時間の過ごし方。

ご無沙汰してました。５月２６日から２９日までの４日間、半野喜弘さんとRyoichi Kurokawa君と僕の３人でGeneva, Lausanne, Luzernの３カ所を回る短いスイスツアーを行ってきました。今回このツアーの実現にあたって色々と動いてくれたAnita Scheuberと、３日間のイベントに関わった全ての人々と、ライヴにお越しいただいた全ての方々に感謝します。ありがとう！
写真でもご覧いただけるようにスイスでの３日間は素晴らしい天気に恵まれて、色々と勉強になった事も多かったけど、素晴らしい時間を過ごす事ができました。詳しいレビューはいつも通り近日中にTraksyとLIVE reviewsにアップさせていただく予定です。どうぞお楽しみに。
It's been a while. I just came back from SWISS tour with RADIQ aka Yoshihiro HANNO and Ryoichi Kurokawa a few days ago. We did three LIVE shows in Geneva, Lausanne, Luzern. First of all, I'd like to say thank you to Anita Scheuber who worked so hard to realize this tour and all the people we met and who worked for those events and also people who came to our LIVE shows. Thank you so much.
As you can see from the photos, we had really really beautiful weather in Switzerland this time. I'm planning to upload some photos on my LIVE reviews as always and also the web-magazine called Traksy (Unfortunately this web is only written in Japanese..) with some movies too. Please check them when you have time.
GenevaからLausanneへ電車で移動。こんな素晴らしい景色が数時間続く。窓全開で満喫しました。
今回のツアーでも黒川君の素晴らしく緻密で独創性たっぷりな映像を楽しませてもらったし、半野さんの恐ろしく洗練された複雑でシンプルでFunkyなライヴで打ちのめされました。。自分の未熟さを痛感しています。でもこんな凄い二人とツアーに回れて本当に良い勉強になりました。リョウ君、半野さん、ありがとうございました。
This time I really enjoyed Ryoichi's fine and ingenious images and also I was knocked over by RADIQ's incredibly complicated but still simple and funky LIVE performance. Now i strongly feel that i need to improve my sound more and more.. However, I'm so glad and happy to be able to get the opportunity to work with those such a talented people this time. Thank you so much, Ryoichi and Mr.Hanno!
そんな半野さんの新しいアルバム『Angelus』が先日リリースされました。何をやらせても誰も追随できないクオリティーと独創性と音楽性を猛烈な勢いで発揮する天才が、またまた信じられないぐらい美しくて実験的でそれでいて素晴らしくポップな傑作をリリースしました。僕もリリース前から何度も聴かせてもらっていたんですが、もう何も言う事はないです、素晴らしいの一言。こんな人が自分の身近にいるって本当に物凄い事やなって思うんです。感謝。半野さんは『今は天才なんかおらん。だって会うた事ないもん』って仰るけど、そりゃそうです、だってあなたが天才やから。僕はそう思いますよ。僕も今の所半野さん以外会ったことないし。

I realized that it's been one year since i started this blog.. Time past so fast.. too fast maybe. I read my old entries the other day and they are all really bad.. I hope it gets better than before now, but anyway i need to improve my English and also Japanese writing. 今年の１月にフランスの西の端の海沿いにあるLa Rochelleっていう小さな街でライヴをさせてもらって、今回そのオーガナイザさんからまたまたライヴのお誘いをいただいたんです。前回はまあ色々とあってかなり”修行”なライヴになってしまったんですけど、彼らもその事をかなり気にしてくれていたみたいで、今回は凄く満足の行くイベントになったと思います。幸い天気にもある程度恵まれて、凄く気持ちの良い時間を過ごさせてもらいました。このライヴの実現にあたって、オーガナイザのLaurentとAssociation meo、それと写真やビデオを撮ってくれたYに感謝します。ありがとうございました。
I did LIVE at city called La Rochelle in the very west of France in this January, and the organizer of this event gave me another chance to play at there this time again. I think I've done quite good LIVE this time. The sound systems were really good and all the people who worked for this event also did great job. I'd like to say thank you to Laurent who organized this event and everybody who works for Association Meo, and also Y who shot photos and video. Thank you all.
オーガナイザ曰く、この街には学生とお金持ちの老人しか住んでないそうですが、、確かに老人は多かったし学生も多かった。街自体は凄く古い建物ばかりで構成されていて、日本人の僕には物凄く特殊な空間に感じました。西洋建築にはある程度慣れてると思ったけど、時々こういう本当に古い街並に足を踏み入れると自分が日本人である事を痛感します。外国！って感じ。
La Rochelle is really beautiful city and i really like it. I've been spending quite a lot of time out of Japan and I thought i already get used to seeing European cities, But once i step into an old city like this, i felt very stong feeling that "I'm a Japanese". I felt like i'm in somewhere else. I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell you.
会場として使用されたChapelle Saint-Vincentは元々教会として使用されていた建物なんですが、今は多目的スペースとして街が管理しているそうです。こじんまりとした会場でしたけど、心配していた会場の残響もそれほど無くてなかなか雰囲気の良い感じでした。
Chapelle Saint-Vincent was (as you can tell from its name) used as an church in long time ago, and now they're using this place for a lot of events. I thought they might have strong natutal reverb inside the building, but it was not that much and it made me feel much better before i play my sound.
今回のライヴには招待客のみが入場できるように予め設定されていたし、出演者も僕一人だけだったので集客はそれほど多くはなかったんです。でも皆凄く真剣に僕の音に聴き入ってくれていて、ライヴ後にはかなりのご好評をいただけました。自分が真剣にやったパフォーマンスを真剣に聴いてもらうって凄く気持ちいい事やし、凄く幸せな状況ですよね。こういう感じのイベントにもっと出たいなー。エンジニアのMathewが凄く良い仕事をしてくれた。thank you Mathew!

This event was held for people who had an invitation card and I was the only one to play, so there were not so many people were there. However all the people listed to my LIVE very carefully and they told me that they really liked my performance after the show. It was really nice event. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see my LIVE at there. and also sound engineer Mathew did a great job for this. Thank you Mathew.

帰りの電車で撮った写真です。思ったんですけど、植物って太陽の光が当たってる時と当たってない時との見た目の落差って物凄いものがあるように感じるんです。太陽が当たってる時って『やったー！生きてるぞ！』って感じがするけど、そうでない時って凄くヘコんでるように見えたんですよ。面白い。それに気付いて以来そういう風にしか見れない（笑）
Fumiya Tanaka and RADIQ aka Yoshihiro HANNO( op.disc001 )
以前からこのblogでもご紹介していた、半野喜弘＆田中フミヤが新しく立ち上げたレーベル『op.disc』がようやく本格的に始動しました。リリース第一弾はボス二人による12inchです。フミヤさんが半野さんの音を使って、半野さんがフミヤさんの音を使って作られた曲や、それぞれのソロワークも収録されていてどの曲もかなりカッコイイんです！ 僕とtaeji sawai君が同じようなコンセプトで作った曲も、このレーベルから夏ぐらいにリリースされる予定です。是非お近くのレコードショップで視聴してみてくださいね。
A new label called op.disc by Radiq aka Yoshihiro Hanno and Fumiya Tanaka is now ready! They've just released a new 12inch vinyl recently and (of course) they are really really great works. I'm also going to release a 12inch vinyl with taeji sawai in this summer. Please check those works in the record shop around you! I'm quite sure you like them.

イベント２日目の今日はあいにくの大嵐。。写真じゃ分かりにくいけど、映画のワンシーンみたいな不自然に片寄った雨の固まりと猛烈な横風が、昼過ぎからイベントの途中ぐらいまでずっと降り続いてたんです。僕ってホント天気運が悪いです。前の心斎橋のAppleストアの時も台風が来てたし、今日はよりにもよってソロライヴの時に大嵐。ある意味ラッキー、って思うようしておきます。大当たり。そのせいもあって集客は昨日より少し少ない感じではありましたが、ライヴが始まる頃には一応座席は満席状態だったのでそれなりに良い雰囲気でした。あの大嵐の中わざわざお越しいただいたオーディエンスの方々に感謝。ありがとうございました。
It was like storm on the second day of the event in NY. It's a bit hard to tell from this photo, but it was like fake storm in the movies. It had been raining since this afternoon until in the middle of our LIVE shows. I always have little luck with weather.. when i played at Apple store in Osaka, we had typhoon and today... the day i play my solo... we had storm. I'm lucky in a way.. I should think this way. Anyway, we didn't have so many people like yesterday, but when the LIVE show started, every seats were taken. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to this event even in that terrible weather. Thank you so much.
今日も自分ではかなり満足のいくライヴができたと思ってます。ライヴ前はいつも通り緊張しすぎてお腹が痛くなったけど、でもまあまあそれなりにお客さんにも良い感じで届いたんじゃないでしょうか。持って行ったCDも完売！嬉しい。ご購入いただいた皆さんに感謝。今回はサウンドシステムが凄く良かったので、モニターもしやすかったし、フロアへの出音もかなりクリアに鳴ってくれました。エンジニアさんがホント良い仕事してくれました。このライヴの詳しいレビューはまたまた近日中にtraksyと自分のLIVE reviewにもアップする予定ですので、是非チェックしてみてください。
I'm quite satisfied with my LIVE show today. As always, I get too nervous when my turn comes and i got a little stomachache before the show today too, but after my show so many people told me that they liked my performance, so i think it was quite a success. All my CDs were sold out! I'm so glad. I'd like to say thank you to people who bought them. They had really great sound system this time, so i could listen to my own sound really clear and I think the audience could hear it in the same way too. I have to say thank you to the sound men. I'm going to upload some photos of other artists on the LIVE reviews soon too. Please check it when you have time.
明日の昼の飛行機に乗って大阪に帰ります。凄く充実した刺激的な５日間でした。あっという間でした。またNYに来れる機会があると良いけど。凄く良い経験＆勉強になりました。他の出演者の方々も皆さん本当に素晴らしい人達ばかりで、今回このイベントを通して物凄く良い刺激をいただきました。今回このイベントを主催されたJapan Societyと、キュレーションを担当されたCarl Stoneさんに感謝します。ありがとうございました。またイベントにお越しいただいた全ての方に感謝します。ありがとうございました。
I'm going back to Osaka tomorrow noon. It was really exciting 5days in NY. I learned a lot of things again from this event. I hope i'll be able to come back here again someday. 昨日は朝早めに起きて、散歩がてら歩いてMoMAに行ってきました。朝結構早かったけど、もうすでに物凄い数の来場者。っていうか規模がデカい。やっぱり欧米諸国ってアートが凄く身近なんやなって思いました。日本ってこんな所あるんですかね？東京にはあるのかな。大阪には全っくないですよ。また今度来る機会があったらゆっくり観ようと思いました。僕がMoMAから出る時には更に物凄い数の人でした。
I woke up quite early yesterday morning, so i went to MoMA. It was quite early but there were already so many people there. I had to wait in line to get ticket for a while.
It was really huge... I didn't have much time to see carefully every works this time, so I think i need to come back here when i have a chance to visit NY again someday. I thought that it's really good that people in Europe and the United States are quite close to art in their everyday life. We're quite far from that situation in Japan(maybe not in Tokyo...), especially in my home town Osaka(Osaka is the second beggest city in Japan!). Osaka is almost dead.. I'm a bit sad but this is the reality..
その後会場に向かって皆さんと落ち合って、そこで簡単な食事。写真は本番開始前の楽屋での風景。後で皆で言ってたんですけど、結構有り得ない面子でこの写真はかなり面白い。左からSachiko Mさん、Yoshimitsu Ichirakuさん、Taku Hannodaさん、大友良英さん、竹村延和さん、o.blaatさん。皆凄く良い人達。初日に皆さんとお会いしてから笑いが絶えない。特に半野田君は面白過ぎ。ムリです。
I went to the venue in the afternoon and, we had kind of dinner together at there. I took this photo just before the show starts at the waiting room. Everybody was talking about this photo after i took this but this photo must be quite rare shot maybe. Because it is quite unusual casting this time.. It's really interesting. From left to right >> Ms.Sachiko M, Mr.Yoshimitsu Ichiraku, Mr.Taku Hannoda, Mr.Otomo Yoshihide, Mr.Nobukazu Takemura, and Ms.o.blaat. They're all really nice people. Since we met, we've been laughing all the time.
会場が少し小さかった事もあって、イベントが始まると同時に超満員。入場制限もあって、入れないお客さん達が外で待ってる状態。ちょっと申し訳無かった。。初日は僕とCarl StoneさんのDuo。今回の詳しいLIVE reviewは、パリに戻り次第traksyと自分のサイトのLIVE reviewsにアップさせていただきますね。お楽しみに。他の出演者の方々のライヴもお客さんに大好評。皆さん楽しんでいただけたみたいで良かった。
Unfortunately the venue was not big enough, so it was full of the audience there as soon as the door was open. Some people had to wait outside to get the extra tickets.. I'm so sorry for them. I played with Mr.Carl Stone as Duo for the first day. I think you can see from the photo but Mr.Stone is using his iPod. Just before the show, Mr.Stone's powerbook didn't boot at all, so we decided that he plays his sound from iPod and sending audio signal to my mixer, and i recieve his audio signal to my Max/msp patch and I edited and processed them in real time. So most of the sound was based on his audio signal for the whole performance, but i think it worked in quite effective way. I think people liked it, I hope so.. And it's needless to say but other people's LIVE show were also really great. I'm sure people like them a lot. I'm planning to upload some other photos from this LIVE shows on my LIVE review as soon as i go back to Paris. You can see some photos of every artist on this event too. Please check it.
イベントの後はJapan Societyの皆さんとアーティスト全員で打ち上げ。今回もまたまた韓国料理でしたけど(昨日とは別のお店）、またまた美味くて食い過ぎた。。お店の人がサービスで水餃子を出してくれて、それがまた非常に美味かった。。っていうか皆面白過ぎ、笑い過ぎて腹筋が切れるかと思った。。結局夜中２時までレストランで騒いだ後ホテルへ。僕は寝る前にblog書こうと思ったけどマシンを起動したまま寝てしまった。今日はこれからソロでのライヴの準備の為、今から会場に向かいます。頑張ってきますね。
After the show, we again went the other Korean restaurant with people from Japan Society and all the artists. It was also beautiful dinner. I ate too much again... We went back to the hotel around 2:30 am, and i tried to write this blog before i sleep and i started my computer, but when i realized it was already next morning.. I'm going to the venue soon for LIVE show day2 from now. Today I'm going to perform as solo.

２５、２６日のライヴにお越しいただいた皆さん、ありがとうございました。僕的には２５日のイベントはかなり不満足な結果になってしまって、お越しいただいたお客さんには大変申し訳なかったです。でも２６日のイベントは会場のサウンドシステムも凄く良くて、なかなか良い感じのライヴができたんじゃないかと思ってます。もし宜しければご感想などいただければ嬉しいです。今回２６日は会場の設備の関係でちょっと自分の声がモニターしにくかったので、歌ってる時に音をはずしてしまったりしたんですが、全体的にはなかなか良い構成でライヴができたと思っています。後で友人が撮ってくれたビデオを観たら、僕一人でノリノリでしたね。。ちょっと笑けました。今回のライヴのレヴューも、前回と同じようにtraksyに近々ムービーと一緒にアップされる予定です。ノリノリの僕を見て笑ってやってください。またいつも通り自分のLIVE reviewsにもアップさせていただきました。そちらも是非チェックしてみてください。

First of all, I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to my LIVE on 25th and 26th. I was quite far from satisfied with the situation and my performance on 25th (we had quite many technical problems), so I feel sorry for people who came to see my show on that day. But I think another show on 26th in Kyoto was really great event. They had great sound systems and also the atmosphere of the venue was really nice. I really love that place. I'd really like to play there again if i have a chance next time. I uploaded some photos from those two shows on my LIVE reviews, so please check them when you have time. I also upload some photos, text(unfortunately it is only written in Japanese) and short movie on the web called traksy too. ２６日の京都のライヴの前に、僕の親友であり、学生時代からの良き理解者であり、F1の先生であり、大好きなDJでもあり（彼のDJは本当に素晴らしい！フミヤさんも認めるぐらい！）、尊敬するライターでもあるKohei Terazono君と久しぶりに会う事ができました。２６日のSound Checkの後に会場の1階にあるカフェで２時間ほど話しまくりました（話題は主にF1）。すげー楽しかった。僕は彼の書く音楽レヴューや文章が大好きなんです。ちゃんとした信頼できる情報に乗っ取って、凄くフェアなレヴューを書くんですよ。洞察力も凄いんです。凄い文才だと思います。彼はtraksyにも掲載されている僕の最新のプロファイルを書いてくれたし、半野喜弘さんと田中フミヤさんが二人で始められるop.discsというレーベル用にも文章を書いています。機会があれば是非チェックしてみてください。今回彼が僕がずっと欲しかった下の本をプレゼントしてくれました！ありがとうゾノ！上の『Ferrari』っていう本はずっと探してたけど結局手に入らなくて、今回僕がパリに戻るまで彼が貸してくれました。物凄く読みたかった本だったので、パリに戻るまでに隅から隅まで読もうと思ってます。楽しみ。。。 もし彼のDJやレヴューを見る機会があれば是非チェックしてみてください。

昨日は大阪の梅田にあるnoonっていうクラブにogurusu norihide君のライヴを観に行ってきました。オグルス君に会うのは半年以上ぶり。久しぶりに会った彼は凄く元気そうで、なんか全身から今まで以上に自信というか落ち着きというか、そういうオーラみたいなモノを発しているように感じました。
Yesterday I went to see ogurusu norihide's LIVE performance at the club called "noon" in Osaka. We haven't met each other since more than 6 months. He looked really fine and i could easily feel his growth(in many ways) and also was confident in what he's been going.
（本名を出して活動-勝負とも言える-しているアーティストに共通して感じる『何か背負ってる感』を凄く強く感じた）
今回の彼のライヴは本当に素晴らしかった。僕達は大学時代に音楽を本格的に始めた頃から友達だったので、僕は彼の成長を知ってるし、彼も僕がやって来た事を知ってるんです。彼のライヴを観ててなんかそういう色んな感情がこみ上げて来て、ちょっと感動して泣きそうになりましたね。すげー良かった。『オレはストレートしか投げません』っていう感じが音楽から伝わって来る感じっていうのかな。。上手く言えないけど。もし彼のライヴをご覧になる機会があったら是非チェックしてみてください。彼の音楽からは彼の温厚な人柄というか、何も隠してない彼自身が滲み出ているように感じます。新しいアルバムももうすぐリリースされるそうです。めっちゃ楽しみ。行って良かった、、オグルス君、ありがとう！

His LIVE was really really impressive last night. We've been known each other since when we were college student. We've started making music for real since then, so we know each other what we've been doing so far. When i saw his LIVE last night, I felt somethig special and It really moved me. If you have a chance to see his LIVE, pelase check it. I'm sure that you can feel his gentle character from his music. He's been releasing his works on car park records and p-vine records so far. and He told me that he's going to release the new one soon. I'm really looking forward to it.
He'll perform at Apple Store Nagoya and also Shinsaibashi in Osaka on the following date.. 20th of May(Nagoya) and 27th of May(Shinsaibashi-Osaka).
明日から東京にちょっと仕事＆遊びに行きます。

お待たせしました。先週３月４日にパリで行われたQWARTZ ELECTRONIC MUSIC AWARDSのLIVE reviewをやっと書かせていただきます。このイベントの詳しいレヴューは、以前このblogでも紹介させていただきましたTRAKSYにも近日中にアップされる予定です。またいつも通りLIVE reviewsにもアップされています。是非そちらもチェックしてみてください。
This time I'd like to write about QWARTZ ELECTRONIC MUSIC AWARDS at CABARET SAUVAGE on 4th of March in Paris. First of all I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to see my LIVE there. Thank you so much.
We were hit by snow on that day in Paris. Some of them told me that they never had something like this in the past 30 years. Paris looked really beutoiful with snow on that day, but I was quite sure that most of the people who worked for this event didn't want this weather because we could easily imagine that this weather had no small effect on number of people who come to this event. While i was on the way to the venue, I was thinking about this too.
ライヴ当日の３月４日のパリは３０年ぶりの大雪に見舞われて、街中が真っ白でした。普段はそれはそれで奇麗やから問題ないけど、イベントの出演者とオーガナイザにとってこの雪は集客を妨げる弊害以外の何物でもないので、僕も会場に向かいながらちょっと集客を心配してたんです。
When i started playing, it was almost 4:00 am. As we thought, not so many people were at the venue even around midnight. I think that's because of the snow.
Actually there were two stages at there, big one and small one. This time I played at the smaller stage, and each stage were quite close each other. and I think you can imagine that I could hear the sound from the bigger stage quite loud even from the smaller stage. It was really hard time for me during my LIVE show because of this condition. I don't know who was playing at the bigger stage when i started playing, but his sound was really loud and hard, so that it was quite hard to listen to even my own sound during my whole performance.. I was really sorry for people who came to see my LIVE at there... I'd like to play at the bigger stage next time.. I know I'm not famous enough to get that opportunity at the moment. I need to work harder to get better condition.
僕の予想は不運にも的中してしまって、夜中の１２時を越えてもお客さんの数はそんなに増えませんでした。最終的には３００人ぐらいの人達が来てたみたいですが、会場の大きさとイベントの規模から考えると、決して十分な集客とは言えない状況でした。今回このイベントにはメインステージとセカンドステージがあって、僕は後者でのライヴだったんです。リハーサルの時は結構音も良かったしまあええかなって思ってたんですが、イベントが始まってみると、、メインフロアからの音がセカンドステージまでガンガン聴こえてきて、僕のライヴの時もその状況は変わりませんでした。結構辛いライヴになってしまいましたが、本当に良い経験になりました。このイベントの詳しいレヴューは、先ほどお伝えしたTRAKSYに近々ムービーと一緒にアップされる予定です。是非チェックしてみてください。

今日のpolcoです。今日も僕が少し目を離したスキに家のドアの鍵を勝手に開けて一人で散歩に行ってました。。今までも結構頻繁に一人で脱走したりしていたので車に轢かれたりしないか心配やったんですけど、以前にpolcoが一人で近所の公園前の道路で信号待ちをしてる所を知り合いが目撃したそうです。一応ちゃんと道路では止まってくれているみたいなので、ちょっと安心。でもやっぱり心配です。僕の実家には、彼が開ける事のできないドアはもうないみたい。困った。
Here's today's Polco. Again he went out from my house for a walk by himself today.. He's done it quite many times so far. I'm really worried if he is involved in a traffic accident someday if he keeps doing this. But once one of my friends told me that he saw polco was waiting for the light to change at the cross road near the park. He was trying to go to the park by himself. I'm glad to know that he can wait for the lights by himself, but I'm still worried about him.. At the moment, There is no doors which he can not open in my house.. mmm we have to do something for this problem..

昨日の夕方にLa Rochelleから帰ってきました。今回はかなりハードな修行になりましたね。。ちょっと辛かったですけど、初心に戻った気分でライヴができて、またまたかなり良い経験になりました。
La Rochelleでは僕達のような音楽がほとんど浸透していないのが現状で、お客さんも『珍しく日本人が来るから観に行こう』みたいなノリの人がほとんどだったんです。街も凄く小さいし会場も大きくなかったので集客は決して多いとは言えない状況でしたが、それでもかなりのお客さんに来ていただけました（小さい会場はほぼ満員でした）。オーガナイザの皆も今までこういう音楽のイベントを開催した事がなかったので色々と問題もありましたが（会場のサウンドシステムがモノラルだった！！最終的には何とかステレオでライヴする事ができました）、僕にとっても彼らにとってもかなりの勉強になったと思います。まあ、それはそれで良かったのかな。
I came back from La Rochelle yesterday. It was really beautiful city and I really liked it. I wish i can go there again in summer time someday.
I spent really good time there, but to be honest, unfortunately i couldn't show my best performance for the people who came to La Rochelle this time. Actually there were some small problems at venue, and i couldn't perform under ideal circumstances this time. I have to say sorry for people who came to my show in La Rochelle. Anyway, the Organizers of this event did really great job to solve those problems, and they treated me really nice. I'd like to say thank you for all the people who worked for this event. Thank you so much. I learned a lot of things again from those two LIVEs and I met so many nice people at there too.
先ほどもお伝えした通りLa Rochelleには僕が作っているような音楽がほとんど浸透していないので、毎週木曜日にエレクトロニクスな音楽を街の人々に知ってもらうためのフリーイベントが、地元のDJやレコードショップによって開催されているんです。初日の夜はそのイベントでライヴをさせていただきました。前から分かっていた事なんですが、今回は改めてフリーイベントでのライヴの難しさを心から痛感しました、、。フリーイベントに来られるお客さんは基本的に僕を観に来ているのではなくて、とりあえず騒ぎに来ていたり、お酒を飲みに来ているお客さんがほとんどなので(しかも皆マリファナとかドラッグで結構キマってる人も多い）、少しでも気に入らないと『止めろー！もっと速い曲をかけろー！』とかライヴ中に叫ばれたり、『お願いだからもっとマシな音楽をやってくれ』（ココで言う”マシな音楽”っていうのは、派手な４つ打ちテクノの事）ってライヴ中に目の前に来て手を合わせてお願いされたりするんですよ。やってる側としては結構辛いです。僕の知名度がまだまだ足りないし、音楽がまだまだ未熟だというのがのがそもそもの原因なので、コレばっかりは頑張って知名度と音楽のレベルを地道に上げて行くしかどうしようも無いんですが、、、。でも幸いな事に全員のお客さんがそうだった訳ではなくて（今回はそういうお客さんはマイノリティーでした、でもそういった人達の存在感はマジョリティーをかき消すほど強烈です）、初めてこういう音楽を聴いて物凄く感銘を受けたって言ってくれるお客さんも何人か居て、それが凄く嬉しかった。持って行ったCDも全部売れたし、今の自分が置かれている状況を客観的に知る事ができたのでかなり良い勉強になりました。
２００５年一発目のライヴは、自分自身をもう一度初心に戻して一から自分を見つめ直すための素晴らしい機会になりました。オーガナイザ側もイベントがそんな感じだったので凄く僕に気を使ってくれていたので、今回英訳では良かった部分をメインに書こうと思っています。どうかご理解ください。近々LIVE reviewにも他の写真をアップさせていただきますので、良かったらチェックしてみてください。
Actually there are not so many people who listen to my kind of music in La Rochelle, and also I'm still totally unknown in Europe. So when i did LIVE, some people didn't like what i did(Actually they were minority at there) and I felt a bit difficult to do something i really wanted to do in front of the people who don't know about me at all. and I also learned that my music is not good enough. But still quite many people told me that they liked my music too. I was so glad to heat that. I learned that I'm still unknown in Europe and I knew that i need to go back to the start point again and think about what I am making right now to make everything better.
I'd like to say thank you again to all the people who came to my LIVE at there and thank you for all the people who worked for this event. Now I know that i need to work harder than now to make myself known more and more in Europe and also other places such as North and South America and other Asian countries. Long way to go.

２５日の東京でのライヴの後にそのままパリに帰る事になっていたので、２４日の大阪でのライヴが終わった後、早朝に実家に帰ってそのまま休む間もなくパリに帰る準備をしました。前日もほとんど寝てないのでフラフラになりながら準備をして、忘れ物がないように、、と思ってたんですけど。。東京のホテルに着いた時にコンタクトレンズを持って来るのを忘れたことに気付きました。。ちょうどその時持ってたのが度入のサングラスのみ。その日は仕方なく暗いクラブでサングラスをかけるハメになりました。。
After the show on 24th in Osaka, i packed up my stuff as soon as i went home, because we had to move to Tokyo on the same day and after the show in Tokyo on 25th, i had to go back to Paris on the next morning. I didn't sleep much the day before on 24th, so i was really sleepy and tired but i tryed not to leave anything when i was packing at home.., but, when i got the hotel in Tokyo, I noticed that i left my contact lenses in Osaka. Then at that time, I only had prescription glasses with a bit dark color, and i had to wear it even in the dark club in the evening..
ライヴ自体は前日のロケッツでの反省点を修正して、かなり良いものになったように思えます。まだまだ詰めが甘い部分もあったけど、お客さんも皆ノリノリで踊ってくれていたみたいやったので、僕としては大満足でした。もし宜しければまたご感想など聞かせてください。サイトのLIVE reviewsに、２４日のロケッツと２５日のYellowでの画像と短いムービーをアップしましたので、良かったらチェックしてみてください。
I think my LIVE was quite good this time in Tokyo too. I fixed some part from the day before in Osaka and I'm sure i till have some more things to make it progress but people were dancing and many people told me that they enjoyed my LIVE, so I'm quite satisfied with it. Please give me some feed back if you were there. I also uploaded some short movie files from Osaka and Tokyo on my LIVE reviews. Please check it.
僕のすぐ後に半野喜弘さんも急遽飛び入り参加。海外では今回のようなアゲアゲのライヴセットを良く披露されてるんですけど、日本ではなかなか最近こういうパフォーマンスが無かったのもあって皆結構ビックリしたみたいですね。すげーカッコ良かった。残念ながら写真は無いんですけど、Geoff Whiteのライヴも外人っぽい感じで皆をがんがん踊らせてたし、フミヤさんのDJも半端じゃない感じで、ちょっと冷静に聴いてると恐くなるぐらい素晴らしいセットでした。
来年から始動する半野さんとフミヤさんお二人のレーベルop.discsが凄く楽しみ。僕も参加させてもらってて、そこから春に12inch、それと夏ぐらいにアルバムを出させていただく予定です！お楽しみに！
After my LIVE show Yoshihiro Hanno jumped in this party and did his LIVE too. It was really great show as always and people were dancing a lot. He usually plays dancy set in overseas but he didn't have much opportunities to play this set in Japan so far. I heard that some people were really surprised when they see his LIVE like that. Unfortunately I couldn't get photos but Geoff White's LIVE was also really dancy and people were excited a lot. It was great. And There was nothing to say about Fumiya Tanaka's DJ set this time too. It was really really great. You should check his DJ set when you have chance to hear it next time.
I'm looking forward to a label called "op.discs" which is run by Yoshihiro Hanno and Fumiya Tanaka from next year. I'm also one of the member of this label and I'm going to release a 12 inch in next Spring and an allbum in next Summer. Please check it!
今回のYELLOWには６００人以上のお客さんにお越しいただいて、本当に楽しかったし、凄く良いパーティーになったと思います。お越しいただいた皆さん、関係者の皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。今回は以前sonarsound tokyoの時にもお世話になった、コヤマ・タイスケさんにYELLOWでの写真を撮っていただきました。小山さんありがとうございました。

昨日の夜にヘロヘロになりながらも何とかパリに帰ってきました。２５日に東京でライヴをして、そのまま空港に行きました。２３日の夜から２６日の昼に飛行機に乗るまで、４日間で合計数時間しか寝てなかったので、もう全ての意味が分からないぐらい疲れてましたけど、何とかパリに戻る事ができました。しばらく休んでたblogのアップをここ数日で一気にアップしたいと思ってます。良かったらチェックしてみてください。

I managed to come back to Paris last night, because i was extremely tired.. Since in the evening of 23rd of December to until I got on the airplane on 26th, I only slept 5~6 hours during those three days.. It was really really hard schedules this time..

１２月２４日と２５日の二日間、田中フミヤさんの主催されるイベント『CHAOS』に出演させていただきました。大阪でのクラブでのライヴは本当に久しぶりで、今回も地元の友人達が集まってくれて凄く楽しかった。イベント自体も沢山の方々にお越しいただいてかなり盛り上がりましたね。僕のライヴも自分ではかなり良いものができたんじゃないかと思ってます。PowerBookも止まらんかったし。もし宜しければお越しいただいた皆さんのご感想を、このblogにいただければ嬉しいです。
一緒に出演していたGeoff Whiteのライヴもかなり盛り上がったし、やっぱりフミヤさんのDJは凄かった。世界でもあれだけ選曲のセンスが良くて、タイトでストイックなDJができる人は滅多に居ないと思います。
I played for two nights on 24th and 25th of December for Fumiya Tanaka's party called "CHAOS". It's been a quite long time since i did LIVE in club in Osaka last time. I was glad to see some of my local friends and also so many people came to this event. People were really excited and it was really really good party. I think i've done quite good performance for that night(my PowerBook didn't freezed this time..).
Geoff White's performnace was also really great, it was really dancy set and Fumiya's DJ was really great too. I think he has really great sense of choosing songs and mixing in his own way. I'm sure that he's one of the best DJ I've ever seen.
今回のロケッツでのライヴにお越しいただいた方々に感謝します。ありがとうございました。またいつか大阪でライヴができると良いなー。

今さっき大阪に帰ってきました。いやー、それにしても昨日の恵比寿ガーデンホールでの僕のライヴは本当に最低でした。せっかくお越しいただいた皆さんには本当に申し訳ありませんでした。今回は今まででも最高と言って良いぐらいの発表の場をいただいて、そこで今までで一番最低と言っても良いライヴをしてしまいました。まさか２０００人のお客さんの前で大声で『ごめんなさい、コンピュータが止まりました』って言う事になるとは思ってなかったので、意外な展開と言えばそうだったんですけど。。
I've just came back to Osaka now. Well.. It was one of the worst performance i've ever done last night in Tokyo. I'd like to show my sincere apologies and remorse to all the people who came to the show. I got really great opportunity to play at one of the best venue in my career this time, but I did one of the worst performnace I've ever done at there. I didn't expect that I had to say "I'm so sorry that my computer freezed." with loud voice without microphone.
実は当日の早朝に物凄く嫌な夢を見て、自分の出した声で起きたんです。その夢っていうのも、ライヴ中にPowerBookから凄いノイズが鳴って音が完全に止まるっていう夢やったんですけど、正夢やったみたいですね。フリーズの原因ははっきり分からないんですけど、最近移動が多かったせいもあってHDがモロくなっているかもしれないし、照明や周辺機器とかPowerBook本体から発せられる熱も関係あると思うし、あとモニタースピーカを含めた会場のサウンドシステムからの重低音による振動も考えられます。今さっきこのblog書いてる時もフリーズしましたしね（OSXには珍しい）。まあとにかく、今回の事でまたかなり根性が付いた気がします。お客さんには本当に申し訳なかったですけど、良い経験になりました。
後でLIVE reviewに僕が大声でお客さんにお詫びしているムービーでもアップしておきます。
Actually I saw a really bad dream yesterday morning and I woke myself up with my own voice. The dream i saw was almost the same as what happened at venue on 18th. It become reality. I still don't know why my PowerBooks freezed but, maybe I've been moving around too much recently with my powerbooks and maybe that caused a lot of damage in those Hard Drives. and also the stage where i played was really hot because of the lights and other equipments around them. and one more thing that I felt really strong vibration when i was playing on the stage which came from the sound systems. But.. actually i don't know... that hardly happens. Anyway, I was really sorry for people who came to this show. I learned a lot of things this time.
今回の半野さんのライヴは、前回のsonarsound tokyoのメンバーにチェリストの徳澤青弦君、それにクラムボンのヴォーカリストの原田郁子ちゃんが参加していました。今回も半野さんの音楽性を存分に感じ取れる素晴らしいライヴでした。エレクトロニクスな音楽を聴きに来ていた人の中にはもしかしたら場違いなものに感じた方もおられたかもしれないですけど、最新の音楽というのは必ずしもテクノロジーを駆使したものだけじゃないと僕は思ってるんです。半野さんはいつも誰もやらないし、やっても上手くまとめられないような事を、物凄く少ない音数でサラリと実現してしまうんです。一聴するだけだと聴き流してしまうような自然なメロディやハーモニーの中に、物凄く複雑な構造が垣間みれます。僕は半野さんの音楽こそが最先端な音楽だと思ってます。素晴らしいライヴでした。
This time, Yoshihiro Hanno played with saxophone player, Bass player, two vocals and cellist. And he also played with a female vocalsit Ikuko Harada from a band called CLAMMBON. I could feel his great talent of music very much. It was really great performance. Some people who wanted to listen to something experimental and electronic music might think that his performance didn't suite very much for this event. But once you listen to his music very carefully, you can find so many unusual parts and really experimental structures in his music. I believe that his music is exactly what we call "advanced music". It was great LIVE performance.
今回のSketch Showのライヴには、前回のsonarsound tokyoと同様に小山田圭吾さんと、映像に黒川良一君が参加して行われました。幸宏さんは生ドラムを多用してて、細野さんもベースをめっちゃ弾いてて、生バンドみたいな感じで結構見てて楽しかったです。最後のアンコールに僕がリミックスしたMARS remixを皆で演奏して、それがまた結構いい感じにまとまったと思ってます。幸宏さんのタイトなドラムが炸裂してました。僕はあの曲での幸宏さんのドラムが一番かっこ良かったように思えます。
This time, Keigo Oyamada aka cornelius joined as guiterist and also Ryoichi Kurokawa joined as a visual artist with Sketch show. They played real drums and bass and mixed with computer sounds. At the end of the show, we play all together "MARS remix" which i remixed. Mr.Takahashi from Sketch Show played really funky drums for this song.

昨日のイベントも沢山の人が来てくれたし、僕達もかなり良いパフォーマンスが出来たと思ってます。お越しいただいたみなさん、ありがとうございました。やっぱり半野さんのライヴは凄かった。とくにBlackCromっていうフランス人ラッパーが参加した部分は圧倒的でした。短いムービーをLIVE reviewにアップしましたので、是非チェックしてみてください。Terryのヴォーカルもいつも通りセクシーで物凄い存在感でした。僕もある程度納得のいくライヴができたと思ったんですが、今回の半野さんのライヴを観て改めて自分の音楽的部分の未熟さを痛感しました。一から出直します。
ただ昨日僕達のライヴの時にVJをやっていた人の映像がヒドかった。。一生懸命やってくれていたんだろうけど、あまりにも音と合ってなかったのが残念でした。
Thank you so much for coming to our party last night in Paris. So many people came to see our show. I think we've done quite good LIVE performance this time too, I hope you liked it. Especially when Radiq aka Yoshihiro Hanno played with two French rapper BlackCrom and a Japanese female vocalist Terry was really really great. I think also performed quite good this time, but i thought i need to learn and know more about music when i compare my performance to Radiq's LIVE.

昨日の夜にパリに帰ってきました。今回も沢山の人に会えたし、沢山の人が僕達のライヴを観に来てくれたし、沢山の人に僕達の音楽を気に入ってもらえたし、また沢山の事を新たに学びました。今回のmute meツアーで自分のやっている事は間違いではないっていう確信を持てたし、自分の作品とライブに対する更なる自信に繋がってこれから先が本当に楽しみになってきました。以前blogをアップしてからネットにアクセスする機会があまり無かったので、あの日から昨日までの日記をアップさせていただきます。楽しんでいただければ嬉しいです。LIVE reviewも数日中にアップさせていただきますね。
I came back to Paris last night. This time, I met so many people, so many people came to see our LIVE performance, so many people told me that they liked my music, and I leard so many things from this mute me tour. Now I have quite strong confindence in my music and things what I'm doing now. I'm sure that now I'm on the right track. I'm really looking forward to what will happen in the future. サウンドチェックしてる最中です。開場と同時に２００人以上のお客さんが来てくれて、みんなめちゃくちゃ盛り上がってノリノリで踊ってくれました。去年プラハでやった僕のライヴを観て来てくれた人もいたし、ウェブ雑誌や雑誌の記事で僕を知って来てくれた人もいたし、その日初めて観に来てくれた人もいました。来てくれた全てのお客さんに感謝。大成功でした。

翌日の昼ぐらいに僕はmute meのアーティストMichal MarianekとAlesとで次のライヴ会場のあるTrebicという街へ車で行きました。やっぱり車での移動って楽しい。国際免許取ってくれば良かったなー。運転したかった。
半野さんは一日プラハでオフで、その後スロヴァキアのブラティスラヴァへ。
The next day, we move to another city called Trebic with Ales and Michal Marianek by car. I like to travel with cars. I should have taken international drivers license this time.. I wanted to drive somewhere I've never been.
Yoshihiro Hanno stayed in Prague one more day and after that he went to Bratislava.
途中ハイウェイのサービスステーションで夕日の写真を撮りました。前にも書いたけど、この時期チェコでは４時半にはもう真っ暗になるんです。この日も凄く寒かった。

最近大気汚染と地球温暖化関係のニュースが世界的に大きく取り上げられるようになってきましたね。多分本当に危ない状況なんでしょうね。車大好きですけど、やっぱり排気ガスの問題は今すぐにでも解決されるべき問題だと思います。F1もそれに大きく加担していると思うと凄く複雑な気分です。早く化石燃料に変わる新しいエネルギーを開発して欲しい。ブッシュが再選してしまった以上アメリカでの開発はどんどん遅れるだろうし、そういう今だからこそ日本が先陣を切って新しいエネルギーの開発に力を入れるべきだと思います。この写真なぜか好きなんでアップしました。
I see so many news about air pollutiosn and global warming recently. I'm sure now we're in the really serious situation. I love cars but I know this is one the most serious problems today.. I have mixed feelings about F1 because they also have a part in this serious problem. I hope we'll find the new energy sourse as soon as possible. I don't know why but i liked this photo.
無事Trebicの会場に到着して、早速サウンドチェック。凄く小さい会場でしたけど、音は凄く良かった。田舎の小さい街やし多分良いサウンドシステムは望めないと思ってたけど、予想を遥かに裏切る音にビックリ。かなり気分も上がってなかなか良いライヴができたと思います。結構遠くからわざわざ観に来てくれた人もいたし、お客さんも皆踊ってくれて嬉しかった。この日来てくださった人たちにも感謝。
As soon as we arrived at Trebic, we went to the venue and did sound checking. It was a quite small venue but they had really great sound systems. I thought Trebic is a small city so i honestly wasn't expecting that much, but I was totally wrong. I think I did quite good live this time too. I was glad that some people came to see my show from quite far away from Trebic. Thank you for all the people who came to see my live.
ライヴの後にUNESCOの世界遺産に登録された夜の街を散策。もとユダヤ人ゲットーだった街が、今ではお金持ちや地元の人たちが住む凄く古くて奇麗な街に。道に車さえなければ、自分が数百年前の街に来た気分になったやろうなって思いました。日本にはない、また別の美しさがあるように思いました。
After the show, we walked around the Trebic city. This city was named to the UNESCO list of world heritage a few years ago. This old town used to be a Jewish ghetto and after that it became like this. If there's no car on the street, I might felt that i was in the city in a few hundred years ago.
翌朝プラハに戻る前にもう一度ホテルの周りをAlesが案内してくれました。

We went back to Prague again and we visited the studio of Tomas Vanek who did the cover art for mute me compilation this time. He made each cover by himself and every covers are unique. You'll never find the same one. You can order this cover works on the mute me web site. Please check it.

最終目的地のBratislavaへ車で移動。物凄い霧でした。多分視界20mも無いんじゃないかな。
We drove again to Bratislava from Prague. It was really foggy on the way. I think we only could see 20m ahead.
無事にBratislavaに到着して半野さんと合流。今回のツアー中も半野さんから色々と興味深い勉強になるお話を沢山聞けて楽しかった。半野さん、ありがとうございます。これからが本当に楽しみになってきました。もっと沢山の人たちに僕の作品を楽しんでもらえるようにもっと頑張ります！なんか自信が出てきました。

We arrived at Bratislava and met Yoshihiro Hanno. I think he's one of the greatest artist today and He knows soooo many things about music. This time during the tour, we talked about music, movies, our performances and I leard a lot of things from him. Thanks you Mr.Hanno. His latest work GRAFFITI & RUDE BOY 67' will be released on Logistic records soon! Please check it when you have a chance. That is a master piece. Bratislavaの空港でパリ行きの飛行機を待っている時に、凄く奇麗な夕焼けが観れました。さー、１２月１１日のパリ、１８日の東京、２４日の大阪、２５日の東京。今年のライヴも残す所あと４回。フルスロットルで頑張りますね。今年は１年経つのが速かったなー、、来年はもっと刺激的な年にしたい。

１時間程前にチェコのBrnoっていう街でのライヴを終えてホテルに戻って来ました。ライヴレヴューはまたパリに戻ってからゆっくりアップさせていただきます。一応日記みたいな感じで昨日からの事を書こうと思ってます。しばらくblogはアップできないと思ってたけど、ホテルにワイヤレスネットワークが来てたので良かった。便利ですね。
I just came back to Hotel about an hour ago after the LIVE in Brno in Czech. I'll update the LIVE review later when i go back to Paris. I'm going to write diary this time. There was a wireless network in my room. It's really useful.
パリからスロヴァキアのBratislavaに到着して、飛行機を降りたらめちゃめちゃ寒かった。前日はあまり眠れなかったので飛行機の中では爆睡してたけど、降りた瞬間に寒さで目が覚めました。日本人のパスポートが珍しいのか、パスポートコントロールをしてる軍人さんがパスポートを隅々まで見て（明らかにへぇ〜って感じで）ニコニコしてました。
It was really cold when i got Bratislava. I couldn't sleep very much last night, so i slept the whole flight from Paris to there. When i got off from the aircraft, the out side air woke me up because it was really cold. The officer at the passport controle looked my Japanese passport very carefully with smile. Maybe he haven't had many chance to see Japanese passport.
空港にmute meのオーガナイザのAlesが迎えに来てくれてました。今年４月のドレスデンぶりに再会。元気そうで良かった。車でスロヴァキアからチェコへ、国境を越えて１時間半ほどかかってその日宿泊するホテルに到着。疲れてるはずやのに結局全然眠れなくて、朝までD'ANGELO聴きながら朝日を見ることになってしまった。寒いから空気が澄んでるのか、その日の朝日は息を飲むほど奇麗でした。気温はマイナス４℃。厚着してベランダから小一時間ほど朝日見物。ココの人曰くまだそんなに寒くないそうです。めっちゃ寒かったけど。
Ales from mute me came to pick me up at the airport. I met him in April at Dresden before. He looked fine. It takes about one and half hour by car to the hotel in Brno in Czech. I thought i could sleep as soon as i reached hotel but i couldn't sleep, so i was listening D'ANGELO until i saw beautiful dawn. It was -4 degrees celsius outside.

ライヴ会場に向かう途中、凄く夕焼けが奇麗でした。朝日の後、結局昼過ぎまで寝てしまった。

ライヴの帰りにふと街のポスターを見てたら、僕の名前を発見。やったーと思って写真撮ろうとしたら、横に貼ってあるポスターにフミヤさんの名前を偶然発見。しかも同じ日で、クラブも僕達のイベントのすぐ近く。こんな偶然あるんですね。先日パリでお会いした時に日程教えてもらえば良かったな。どうりで僕達の方のイベントにはお客さんが少なかった訳です。
When i was walking on the street, i found my name on the poster. and i tried to take a photo, but then i found Fumiya Tanaka's name on right beside me on the different poster. We played in the same town in the same day and different club. What a coincidence. I should have asked him his schedules when i met him in Paris a few weeks ago. Now i understand that why there're not so many people were there for our LIVE ;-)
ライヴ自体は結構いい感じでした。最近ライヴの調子が良い。この調子で日本に帰りたいな。
チェコのBrno、日本からこんなに離れた場所にも僕のことを知っててくれて、ちゃんとライヴも観に来てくれる人たちがいるなんて、感激でした。もっともっと沢山の人々に僕の作品を聴いてもらえるように頑張ろう。
明日は昼からプラハに移動です。プラハは僕の大好きな街の一つなんで凄く楽しみ。
I'm going to Prague from tomorrow. Prague is one of my favorite city. I'm looking forward to it.

今ソウルのインチョン空港でパリ行きの飛行機を待ってます。この空港大好きなんです。なんか凄く開放感があって、食べ物も美味しいし。パリ-日本間は大体大韓航空を使います。機内食のビビンバがどうしても捨てられない。マズイ機内食で我慢して飛行機乗るより、僕は美味いビビンバを選びます。
Now I'm waiting for the flight to Paris at Seoul Incheon airport. I like this place very much. It's liberating to be here and they have good food too. I always choose Korean Air when i go to Paris. Have you tried their bibimba? It's really good. That's far better than other airplane meal. Please try it when you have chance.
やったりましたよ、YCAMでは黒川君とぶちかまして来ました。YCAMの音響＆映像設備はやっぱり凄かった。リハーサルの時から僕も黒川君も微妙に興奮気味でしたね。半野さんの音もびっくりするぐらいクリアで、音がデカイのに全然痛くないし、むしろ心地よくて眠くなってしまう感じがしました。半野さんの音の良さを改めて思い知りました。僕ももっと音質を追求しないと。。 映像も小さい映画館よりデカく投影できたし、黒川君の繊細でダイナミックな映像を余す事なく投影できたように僕は思えました。あんな設備世界に滅多にないです。今回あの場におられた方々は、僕たちも含めてホントラッキーやと思います。気持ちよかった。
I think we've done one of the best show ever (again)! As i wote here before YCAM has really great sound systems and visual systems, and this time we used it quite well. Me and Ryoichi Kurokawa were so much excited when we did sound and visual checking before the show. Yoshihiro Hanno's sound was really really powerful and beautiful as always and i knew it, but i reconfirm about it again. I think The visual projection is much larger than small movie theaters, so Ryoichi's fine and thin but pwerful images worked well so much this time. I don't think we have this kind of opportunity very often. We were so lucky.

以前からずっとそうでしたけど黒川君の映像はホントに凄くクオリティーが高いし、センスも抜群です。一切の妥協点が作品から見いだせない。こういったフィールドの中で、僕が知る限り彼の映像作品は今の所世界でも一番じゃないかと思います。半野さんもそう仰ってました。そういった彼のような優れたアーティストと一緒に仕事ができて本当に楽しかった。もの凄くレベルの高いライブができたように思えます。
As i knew it since long time ago,every Ryoichi Kurokawa's image works has great high quality and He has a great sense of making images. I can't find any points of compromise in his works. I think as far as i know, he's one of the best video artist in this field. Yoshihiro Hanno said the same thing too. I'm so glad that i could worked with an artist like him.

お待たせしました、やっとsonarsound tokyoのレヴューをLIVE reviewのペイジにアップさせていただきました。短いムービーを幾つかアップしましたので、そちらも是非ご覧ください。
今回は写真家のカミオカ・タイキさんとコヤマ・タイスケさんにライブ中の写真撮影をお願いしました。またライブムービーの撮影も、映画監督の甲斐田祐輔さんにお願いしました。今までウチのサイトでは僕が撮ったり友人にお願いして写真を撮ってもらってたんですけど、今回はこの３人の方々のおかげでかなり良い感じになりました。カミオカさん、コヤマさん、甲斐田さん、本当にありがとうございました。

This time we asked to take photos to Mr.Taiki Kamioka and Mr.Taisuke Koyama. and also we asked to shoot the video to Mr.Yusuke Kaida who's a movie director. They did really great work for us and this the LIVE review was one of the best ever. Thank you very much, Mr.Kamioka, Mr.Koyama and Mr.Kaida.
当日は朝９時からリハーサルがあったので、僕は前日から半野さんの家に泊まらせていただきました。今回半野さんはベーシストのKameda Takamoriさん、サックス奏者のHeike Tetsuyaさん、ヴォーカルにAHちゃんとTerryちゃんを器用したライブをされて、僕も一番最後にリズム担当として半野さんのバンドに参加させていただきました。半野さんのバンドのリズムを任せていただいたという事で、かなり緊張してなかなか良いリズムができなかったんですが、最終的には自分でも納得のいくリズムができたと思ってます。ライブ当日の数日前から結構忙しいスケジュールが続いていたので、リハーサルの時はもうフラフラでした。それにしても台風がどっか行ってくれて良かった。
On the day we play at sonar, we had sound checking from 9:00 am. It was impossible to go there at that hour from Osaka on the same day, so i stayed at Yoshihiro Hanno's place in Osaka. This time Yoshihiro Hanno played with Mr.Takamori Kameda on bass, Mr.Tetsuya Heike on sax, AH and Terry for vocal. I also join in his band as a rhythm maker at the end of his live. I was a bit nervous because I didn't really know if i could make good rhythm for his band, but at the end I think i made quite good rhythm this time.
僕達の出番はちょうどHuman Audio Sponge(Sketch show+坂本龍一）の前やったので、僕の予想ではYMOファンだらけの超アウェイな状況でのライブを強いられるんやろうな。。って思ってまして、出番前はバックステージで吐きそうな程緊張してたんです。でもいざステージに上がると、予想以上の歓声をいただけて本当に嬉しかった。皆さん、ありがとうございました。一気にやる気ムンムンになって、短い時間でしたけど自分でもかなり納得のいくライブができたと思います。今まで僕の作品や僕のライブを体験した事のない方々にも楽しんでいただけてたら嬉しいな。もし宜しければご感想をお聞かせください。僕みたいに崖っぷちに立ってる人間は、カッコつけるとかそういう次元の事を言うてられないですね。もうなり振り構わずお客さんにもノリノリで踊っていただくために自分でもノリノリで見事散ってみました。今回は特攻隊長って感じで。
We played just before "Human Audio Sponge"(Sketch show+Ryuichi Sakamoto) which is ex YMO. They're still really really famous in Japan. So I expected that most of the people were waiting for them, not me. I was extremely nervous before the show at the backstage, however once i was on the stage, people gave me big cheer and i was really glad to hear that. Thank you so much everybody. And I think i've done quite good LIVE, maybe it was one of the best ever. I hope people who didn't know me were interested in my works.
やっぱりバンドって迫力がありますね。人間と人間がコミュニケーションを取りながら音を構成して行くのって本当に楽しいです。カメダさんのベースは凄く正確で迫力があったし、平家さんのサックスは複雑だけど物凄いグルーヴがあった。AHちゃんのヴォーカルは力強く会場を一気に盛り上げたし、Terryちゃん声はひたすら心地よくセクシーでした。ライブ前に半野さんが『アオキ君、オレ今日ラップするから』ってサラっと仰った時には『え？！マジっすか？』ってびっくりしたけど（８年ぶりぐらいだそうです）、かっこ良かったなー。男やね。ラップの後『リズム！』って言われてリズムをスタートさせようとしたら、ポインタが虹色にクルクル回ってシーケンスがスタートしなくて死ぬ程あせりましたけど（笑）、とにかく音が出てよかった。。。最後のセッションもかなり楽しかった。あんなハイレベルなバンドの一員になれて本当に嬉しかった。僕はラッキーです。
今回sonarsound tokyoにお越しいただいた全ての方々、関係者の方々に感謝します。ありがとうございました。
Playing music with band is really powerful. It was a great fun to play with them this time. During the show I felt like we were communicating each other with each sound and instruments. Mr.Kameda played really powerful and accurate bass, Mr.Heike played complicated but groovy sax. AH's vocal was also strong and it made people excited and Terry's voice was really comfortable and sexy. Just before the show,Yoshihiro Hanno told me "I'm gonna rap today". I said "what?!" :-) Actually He was making Hip Hop 7 or 8 years ago and he was doing rap too. and he has not done it since 8 years. But it was really great. I think I'm so lucky that i could joined such a great band this time.
I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to sonarsoud tokyo and all the people who involved.

今回sonarっていう世界最大のエレクトロニック・ミュージックの祭典を日本に持って来て開催された訳ですけど、僕が思うにsonarはバルセロナで開催されてこそsonarやと思うんです。日本人は海外の良い部分を国内に持って来るのが得意やと僕は思うんですが、でもそろそろ海外のコピーを止めて日本独自の何かを発表できる土壌を作っていくべきやと思うんです。今回のsonarsound tokyoでは５０００人を超えるお客さんにお越しいただいて、皆さんにもバルセロナでのsonarがどういったものなのかという感じはつかめていただけたと思うんです（結構違いますけど）。今回のこのイベントをきっかけに、世界に誇りをもって発信できるアーティスト、イベント、作品を養えるような環境を日本でももっと作っていけるように皆で頑張っていきたいですね。その方が国益にもなる訳ですし。っていうか何を頑張るのか僕には全く分からないですけど（笑）はは、言うだけ言うて逃げる感じですね。もう気絶するかと思うほど眠いのでご勘弁ください。
はー、昨日の夜１時半ぐらいからずっとウェブのアップ作業してて、今は朝９時２０分。その前の日もほとんど寝てないので、今日はそろそろ寝ます。疲れた。。明日パリに帰ります。明日までにYCAMでのライブのレヴューもアップしますので、お楽しみにー。

７日の銀座の後、次の日に大阪のAppleストアでライブがあるのですぐに新幹線で大阪に帰ろうと思ったんですけど、その時間に帰っても新大阪から家に帰る電車がないという事に気が付いて、その日はoraqleという洋服のブランドを経営している友人の本間君の家に泊めてもらいました。めっちゃめちゃ疲れてたんですけど、本間君との話が盛り上がり過ぎて結局全然眠れませんでした。。ヒデちゃん、ありがとう。８日の朝の新幹線で大阪に帰って、少し仮眠を取ってから心斎橋に向かいました。
After the show in Ginza on 7th, I was planning to go back to Osaka right after the show. But i realized that there would be now train from Shin-Osaka station to my home even if i left Tokyo after the show. Then i asked my friend to stay over night at his place and decided to go back to Osaka in the next early in the morning.
その日は台風の影響によるあいにくの雨で、お客さん来ないやろうな、、って自分の運の悪さを憎んでたんですけど、イベントが始まってまたまたびっくりするぐらいのお客さんにお越しいただけて本当に嬉しかった。８日のApple心斎橋にお越しいただいた皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。
It was raining quite hard because of the really huge typhoon, and I thought "I don't think people are coming.." but once the event started, I was surprized again because so many people were there to see my show. I'd like to say thank you to all the people who came to my show.
Apple心斎橋では、大学時代からの友人で、今はOK FREDのライターとしても活躍している中村ユウスケ君にイベントの進行をお願いしました。ユウ君、ありがとう、助かりました。７日の銀座ではSound&Recording誌の國崎さんにお相手をしていただいて、緊張感のある感じでイベントが進んで行ったように（僕は）思ったんですけど、８日の心斎橋では結構気楽に昔の友人と話すような感じで進める事ができて、それはそれでかなり楽しかったです。皆さんはいかがでしたでしょうか？楽しんでいただけましたでしょうか？そう願ってます。
This time, I asked Yusuke Nakamura who's working as a writer on OK FRED magazine to be a host of the show. He's one of my friend since when i was a college student. Thank you Yusuke. This time we talked quite freely as longstanding friends and i really had good time there too. I hope people who came to this event thought the same way as me and enjoyed our conversation.
ココでも前日と同じ様な感じで最後に少しライブをさせていただきました。流れは大体同じで、最初にインプロな感じでMAX/mspを使って音を構成していって、最後はまたまた"walk on the ocean"で締めました。今回ちょっとミスってしまって、、すいませんでした。ライブ前のトークで『毎回ライブでは全力投球で、頑張ってます！』とか言っときながら思いっきりミスしてしまって、、口だけ番長の名前を欲しいままにしてしまいました。。かっこわる。。

In Osaka, I did almost the same set as the day before like in Ginza. I used the same MAX/msp patches and improvised a bit at the beginning, then i sang "walk on the ocean" again at the end. This time I made a stupid mistake during my performance... I have to say sorry..
I'd like to say thank you to tocco who took many nice photos and all the people who works for Apple Store Shinsaibashi and all the people who came to my show in such a bad weather. And I used a kan daisuke's guitar again this time too. Thank you Daisuke!
この日はウチの両親も観に来てたんですけど、ウチのオカンが『兄ちゃん（母親は僕の事をそう呼びます）のライブに来るの嫌やねん、だって似てる似てるって指さされるから、、今日も指されたわぁ。。』と言ってました（笑） ってことなのですいませんけど、今度から関西での僕のライブに来られた時に、僕にそっくりなおばちゃんを見つけてもあんまり指をさしてあげないでくださいね :-)

いやー、疲れました。。先週の７日から今日まで今までにない忙しさでした。このblogもなかなかアップできなくてすいませんでした。やっと大阪の実家に帰って来て、やっとblogやサイトをアップする時間が持てそうです。ここ数日でちょっと頑張ってアップしていきますので、良かったらチェックしてください。
mmhhh.. It's been quite hard and busy since last week. I have to say sorry that I didn't have much time to update this blog and my website. Finaly I came back to Osaka and now i have some time to work on this. I'll update some reviews in this few days, so please check it when you have time.
先週の７日に銀座にあるApple Storeで、Sound&Recording誌が毎月主催しているライブとトークのイベントに参加させていただきました。ビックリするぐらいの多くのお客さんに来ていただいて、文字通りビックリしました。お越しいただいた皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。今までライブは沢山してきたんですけど、こうやって沢山の人を前にしてお話させていただくのって初めてやったんです。なんか恥ずかしくてしょうもないボケを連発したり（ウケなかったのが悲しかった）、爆弾発言をしたりしてしまってみたいで、、すいませんでした。後で友人から『普通に話し過ぎや』って怒られました、、今度からもうちょっとカッコつけて話そうかな。多分無理ですけど。
I joined the event at the Apple Store in Ginza Tokyo which was organized by Japanese professional music magazine called Sound&Recording in last week on 7th of October. I was surprised to see that so many people came to see my LIVE and talk evet. I'd like to say Thank you so much to all the people who came to this event. Actually I've done many LIVE performances so far but I've never had a chance to talk in front of such many people. It was a great experience for me.
今回は『PowerBookが音楽の在り方、作り方を変えてしまった』というテーマで、Sound&Recording誌の編集長の國崎さんとお話をさせていただきました。自分が使っているMAX/mspのパッチをプロジェクタで皆さんにお見せしながら、普段自分がどうやって音を作っているか実演を交えて皆さんに見ていただきました。上手く説明できてたかな。ちょっと心配です。その後に去年バルセロナのsonar2003でのツジコノリコとのライブの映像や、今年６月に大阪のBridgeで行われたaudio formaというイベントでのライブ（ドラマーの渡邊充さんとeaterとのtrioバンド）の映像をお見せして、その時にどういうプロセスでライブをしたかなどを説明させていただきました。こういうのは友人以外にはあんまり話した事なかったので、楽しかったなー。
This time I talked with Mr.Kunisaki who is chief editor of a Sound&Recording magazine along the theme that "PowerBook had changed the way we produce sound and the existence of music." I showed some of my MAX/msp patches by a video projector and showed how it works and how i make sound. I wondered if i could explain about them well.. Then i showed some movie clips of my LIVE with tujiko noriko which was taken at sonar2003 in Barcelona. And also showed a movie clip of our LIVE (a band with me, Mitsuru Watanabe:drums and eater) at Bridge in Osaka this June. and I gave some explanations who i used PowerBooks for those LIVEs.
最後に少しだけライブをして終わりっていう感じでした。その日は前日にツジコノリコがウチに遊び来た時に録音した彼女の声を元にした曲を前半で披露して、最後に"walk on the ocean"を演奏しました。今回もkan daisuke君にギターを貸してもらいました。ダイちゃんありがとう。そうそう、１０月１６日にkan君が参加するコンピレーションアルバムが発売されるそうです。彼のウェブで詳細がチェックできます。是非チェックしてみてください。凄くシンプルで美しいハーモニーの曲でした。
I did LIVE just for about 10 minutes at the end. I recorded tujiko noriko's voice the day bofore, and i used her voice for that performance at the beginning and I played "walk on the ocean" at the end. I borrowed an acoustic guitar from kan daisuke this time too. Thank you! By the way, He put his new work in a compilation album which will be released on 16th of October. You can check some info on his website, Please check it. It was simple and really beautiful song. I liked it very much.

結局風邪も治らないまま、熱も下がらないままライブをする事になってしまって、、ちょっとしんどかったけど、久しぶりに会う友人や普段このblogを見てくださっている方々に声をかけていただけてやる気ムンムンでステージへ上がる事ができました。いつも通り緊張して心臓がバクバク言ってたんですけど、音を出し始めるとそういう気持ちもぶっ飛んで、なかなか自分でも納得のいくライブができたと思いました。短いライブのムービーを僕のウェブにもアップしたので、良かったらチェックしてみてください。ライブ中にちらっとフロアを見たらみんな踊ってくれていたし、Atomさんも気に入ってくれたので嬉しかった。
I couldn't get rid of my cold and still had fever before my performance... It was a bit hard, but I met so many friends and some people who read this blog talked to me and they made me feel much better and I could do LIVE with the motivation. I was really nervous as always before i started. Once i started playing, I forgot about i had been nurvous and I think I did quite good performance this time. 半野さんのライブはいつも通りダントツでした。音質も構成も迫力も音楽的センスも文句無しでした。参った。。今回のMETROは出音が凄くクリアで半野さんの曲の低音も凄くハッキリ出てたので、めちゃくちゃ気持ちよかった。今まで色んな人のライブを沢山の国で見て来たけど、やっぱり日本でも世界でも半野さんがダントツですね。皆さんも機会があれば是非半野さんのライブを観に来てください。あまり日本でライブをされる機会がないので、是非。半野さんのムービーもアップしたんですけど、僕は熱で頭がおかしくなったのか踊りまくっててあまり撮影できなくて、、めっちゃ短くてすいません。
今回DJを担当されていたtsukasaさんのDJがとても良かった。選曲も良かったし、ミックスもとても丁寧でした。彼のこれからがとても楽しみです。
Yoshihiro Hanno's LIVE was really great as always. There's nothing to say about it. The sound systems in club METRO were really good and i could feel his low frequency sound very clearly and that made me feel good. I've seen so many LIVE performances so far in many places, but Yoshihiro Hanno's LIVE is far better than any others. Please check his LIVE when you have a chance. I uploaded a short movie of his live too, pelase check it.
DJ tsukasa played for this event. and I really liked his style. Choice of the music was goon and he was mixing really carefully. I'm looking forward to his next play.

帰りの電車では死ぬかと思うぐらいしんどかったですけど、まあ何とか家にたどり着けてよかったです。次は今週木曜日に銀座のAppleストアと、金曜日に心斎橋のAppleストアでのライブです。イベントは夕方７時からで、ライブ以外にも色々と予定されているみたいですので僕としても楽しみです。是非お越し下さい。

広島でのライブの後１日休みがあって、そのまま半野さんと車で福岡に向かいました。福岡は２００２年の１１月ぶりだったのでとても嬉しかった。半野さんは広島と同じく初めて福岡に来られたとの事でした。２３日の夜に福岡に着いて、２４日の朝から地元のラジオの収録が２本と生出演が１本ありました。はは、なんかダメな小学生の作文みたい。
Me and Yoshihiro Hanno had one day break after the LIVE show in Hiroshima and then we went to Fukuoka by car. This was the second time for me to visit Fukuoka, I visited there in Nov.2002 before. We arrived at Fukuoka on 23rd in the evening and had three radio shows.
イベントは最初にRyoichi Kurokawa君のライブから始まりました。黒川君のライブはいつも通り素晴らしく繊細で、緻密で、それでいて迫力もあって、映像も美しく、とても緊張感のある素晴らしいライブでした。黒川君とは１０月１６日に山口情報芸術センターで二人で一緒にライブをさせていただく事になりました。YCAMは映像設備も音響設備も半端じゃないので、かなり楽しみ。皆さん、是非お越し下さい。物凄いライブにしてみせます！ その後に僕がライブ、今回はちょっとノリノリでいこうと思ったので始めから飛ばし気味。最後は"walk on the ocean"で締めるって感じでした。僕もいつかこんな良い曲を書けるようになりたいです。僕の後に柏大輔君、最後は我らが番長Radiq aka Yoshihiro Hannoさん。いやー、いつも通り素晴らしかった。やはり格の違いを感じざるを得ません。ちょうどこの日に半野さんの新しいアルバムGRAFFITI & RUDE BOY 67がリリースされたばかりで、僕も購入してサインしてもらいました。 ライブとライブの間にはOishi ShoseiさんにDJで繋いでいただきました。今回大石さんの写真を撮るのを忘れてしまって、、reviewにアップできなくてすいませんでした。。。
The party started from Ryoichi Kurokawa's performance. His LIVE was dynamic and subtle at the same time, and also his images were really beautiful too. It was really great. We're going to perform together in 16th of October at Yamaguchi Center of Arts & Media. They have really really great equipments for images and sounds and I'm sure we're going to make it one of the best show ever. Please come when you have a chance. After Ryoichi, I did quite dancy set from the beginning this time too. and I played "walk on the ocean" at the end. I wish i can make such a beautiful song like this in the future... After me, Daisuke Kashiwa played and at the end, Radiq aka Yoshihiro Hanno did live. His performance was really great as always.. He is totally different from us. On the same day, His new album "GRAFFITI & RUDE BOY 67" was released. I bought it too and asked him his autograph on the CD :-) Mr.Oishi Shosei played DJ between each performances. I forgot to take his photos this time and i couldn't put his photos on the review. I'm sorry..

僕は２００３年の４月にも一度広島でライブをさせていただいて、今回も同じオーガナイザの堀部さんがイベントを取り仕切ってくださいました。堀部さん、ありがとうございました。半野さんは今回初めて広島に来られたそうです。
イベントではみんなノリノリで踊ってくれたので、僕も半野さんもかなり盛り上がりました。ライブに来てくださった皆さん、このイベントに関わっていただいた全ての方々、また当日イベントでライブをされた地元の出演者の皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。
I've been to Hiroshima last year in April for my performance. This time, the same organizer Mr.Horibe(stabilo) organized this party again.

以前広島に来た時に食べた『ミッちゃん』のお好み焼きの味が忘れられなかったので、今回も食べに行ってきました。美味しかったー。
I had Hiroshima style "Okonomi-yaki" this time too. I had this Okonomi-yaki last year and i couldn't for get it.. It was really nice. You should try it when you visit Hiroshima.

寒い。パリも寒いし、スイスも寒かった。もうホントにヨーロッパの夏は終わってしまったみたいです。。去年のヨーロッパは今年の日本みたいに信じられないぐらい暑かったけど、今年は全くそういう感じじゃなかったです。
It's cold... It's cold in Paris and Switzerland too. Now I believe that one of my friends told me "summer is over". It was really hot last year in Europe like this year in Japan, but it was not like that in Europe this year.
一昨日の夜にスイスでのライブから帰ってきました。今回は僕と半野さん二人だけのライブっていう事もあって、少し集客に不安はあったんですが、最終的には４００人近いお客さんが来てくれましたし、ライブも大好評でした。持って行ったCDも全部完売。もっと持って行ったら良かったな。。自分がやっている事が間違いではないという事を再確認しました。最近そのことに関して少し不安になってたのでホント良かった。
I and Yoshihiro Hanno came back from Switzerland the day before yesterday. I worried a little bit about if people come to our LIVE or not because we both still quite unknown in Europe. However almost 400 people came to see our LIVE and I think people liked it too. All the CDs we brought were sold out. I should have brought some more... Anyway, It was a good opportunity to know that i'm doing right thing.

パリからは僕、半野さん、それと以前ご紹介した河村勇樹 君の３人で電車に乗ってスイスに行きました。スイスのZurichまで片道７時間ぐらいでしょうか。途中３人でぶっ通しで話しまくったので、行きはあっという間でした。
目的地のWinterthurはZurichから電車で２０分ぐらいの所にあります。その日は宿泊先に荷物を置いて、とりあえず次の日の会場の下見に行きました。その日はドイツのレゲエバンドがライブをしていて、音もそれなりに出てたのでちょっと安心。でも会場が思ったより広かったので、次の日のライブに人が来てくれるかどうか心配になりました。
This time me, Yoshihiro Hanno and another Japanese visual artist Yuki Kawamura went to Switzerland together by train. It took about seven hours to get Zurich but i felt it was a bit short because we talked a lot in the train.
The final distination Winterthur is located quite close from Zurich, it takes about 20 minutes by train. We left our luggage at where we stayed and visited the venue to check their sound system. a German Reggae band was playing when we got there, and the sound system was quite OK. I just worried because the venue was quite big. I really hoped that many people come to our LIVE on the next day.
今回のフェスティバル用に発行されているフリーペイパーや、地元の情報誌などにも僕たちの記事がドカーンと掲載されていたので驚きました。日本でこれだけの量の情報をしかもカラーで雑誌などに掲載してもらおうと思ったら、一体幾らぐらい払わないとダメなんでしょうかね。。もしくはスイスも日本みたいに外人はタダで掲載してくれるんでしょうか。全部のメディアがそうだとは言わないけど、日本の雑誌も早くアーティストの出した結果を重視して、紙面にピックアップするアーティストを選んでくれるようになって欲しいです。お金払えば善し悪しあんまり関係なく誰でも載れるんですもんね。そりゃリスナーも混乱するし、ちゃんと結果を出してたり、良い作品を作ってるのに雑誌のページを買えないアーティスト達がくすぶる訳です。この状況を何とかしない限り、日本の音楽が海を超えて評価される日は来ないと思います。皆さん、自分の耳を信じましょう。僕も『口だけ番長』にならないように頑張ります。
We were amazed when one of my friends showed me some local news papers and information magazines because we saw our photos and article a lot on them. I think we have to spend quite a lot of money if we try to do the same like this in Japan. Or maybe they put those info for free because we're not SWISS people. The same thing happens in Japan too. Now we Japanese artists have quite serious problem to promote ourselves on magazines. Most of the magazines pick up artists because they pay for it. I don't think this is a fair way to be wellknown. I believe that Artists have to be judged by what they've done.
ライブは先ほどお伝えした通り大好評でした。半野さんのライブはダントツでかっこ良かった。参りました。多分F1でミハエル・シューマッハがダントツで強いぐらい半野さんのライブは凄かった。僕も負けてられない。もっともっと勉強しないと。短いムービーを自分のウェブにアップしたので、良かったら是非チェックしてください。 今回も沢山の人たちと知り合えました。ライブに来てくださった全ての方々に感謝します。
As I told you, so many people came to our show and people told us that they loved it. Yoshihiro Hanno's live was really really great. I think no one can reach him at the moment, just like Michael Schumacher in F1. I need to work and learn more hard to reach him. 次の日の朝早くに映像担当の河村君は先にパリに戻って、僕と半野さんは今回のイベントのコーディネイターでもあるAnitaに先導されてZurichの街を散歩しました。その日は前日と違って結構暑かったんです。Zurichには自然も多くて、道に落ちているゴミも少ないし、街全体があらゆる面において洗練されている感じがしました。人々の生活も豊かです。写真の後ろに写ってる川は、Zurichの街を貫くように流れている川なんですが、みんなそこで泳いだり、足を浸けたりしてるんです。大阪じゃ考えられないです。そんな事したら病気になりそう。どっちが普通かと考えたら、、スイスの様な環境が普通であって欲しいですね。
In the next day early in the morning, the visual artist Yuki Kawamura went back to Paris and Me and Yoshihiro Hanno did some sightseeing with Anita who helped us a lot for this event this time. There are so many trees, parks and beautiful rivers and lakes in the city and the streets are clean. I felt the whole city look like sophisticated so much. There's a river behind us in the photo. And people can swim there.
It's impossible in Osaka. If you do that, you'll get some sick maybe.

二日目は皆で街の観光がてら、次の日に予定されている僕とツジコノリコのライブ会場となるJardin Raymond VIっていうToulouseの現代美術館の敷地内にある公園の下見に行ってきました。その日はもうすでに公園でフェスティバルの二日目が始まっていて、お客さんもええ感じで芝生に寝転びながら音楽を聴いてました。ちょうど僕たちが行った時にarovaneのUWEがライブをしてました。そういえば彼とは以前日本でPROGRESSIVE FOrMが主催したイベントに一緒に出演させていただいた事がありました。彼はその日結構ゆっくりめの曲をライブで披露してて、みんなぼけーっと聴いてました。
We did some sightseeing on second day, and went to the Jardin Raymond VI. This place will be me and Tujiko's venue for the next day. When we got there, the show was already started, and people were lying down on the grass and listening to the music from Arovane. I've met him once when PROGRESSIVE FOrM organized a party in Japan and I also did LIVE on the same party. He was playing quite slow and calm track for this festival and people were listening very carefully.
その夜１０時ぐらいにツジコノリコがスペインのバレンシアから１日遅れてホテルに到着。皆で夜の会場に行ったんですけど、人が多すぎてちょっと観れなかったので、食事だけしてそのままホテルに帰りました。僕はその後次の日のライブの準備をして朝方に就寝。
Tujiko Noriko arrived at the hotel around 10pm on the same day from Valencia. Then we went to the night venue all together but it was full of people. We couldn't see anything because of so many people, so we dicided to go back to our hotel after the late dinner. I worked till the wee hours of the morning to prepare for our LIVE on the next day and went to bed after that.

眠い目を擦りながら１２時から始まるサウンドチェックに行くためになんとか１１時ぐらいに起床、朝ご飯を食べる暇もなく準備してロビーへ。普通パリで『じゃあ１２時に！』ってフランス人が言うたら、大体１２時半か１時ぐらいに迎えが来るのが当たり前なんですが、Toulouseのオーガナイザは違いました。みんなオンタイムでちゃんと働く。凄い。フランス人の言う事は信用したらアカンっていう定説を覆されました。 迎えに来てくれた車にツジコノリコと乗って前日下見に来た公園に行ってサウンドチェック。前日は『音悪いかなー』って思ってたんですけど、実際自分の音を鳴らしてみたら結構いい音が出たので安心。多分前日のアーティストの音が悪かったのかも。
その日にフランスのマニクールでF1フランスGPが行われてたので、それをTVで見るために急いでホテルへ。佐藤琢磨、またしてもリタイヤ。。頑張れ日本人。
I managed to wake up 11am to go to soundchecking, and went to lobby but there was no time to have breakfast. Usually in Paris, when French people told us "See you at noon!", that means they come to see us at half past 12 or 1o'clock, but it was not like that for people in Toulouse :-) Great. I had a stereotype that French people are lazy, but i have to correct that. Maybe this is right for only for Parisien ;-) We got in the car and went to soundchecking. I thought the sound systems were not good enough on the day before, but it was perfect when i played my sound. Maybe the sound from artists who played the day before was not that good.
We hurried over to Hotel to see F1 French GP on TV. Takuma Sato stopped again...
僕の出番は夕方７時過ぎからで、まずは僕が一人で演奏して、その後にツジコノリコと一緒にライブ、最後に彼女が一人でライブっていう流れにしました。sonar2003やイタリアやチェコでライブした時もこの流れでした。その日はフランスのテレビ局も来てたので、ちょっとこれは日本人の力を見せてやらねば！という気持ちで飛ばしてたんですけど、会場の電源の問題があって途中で音がストップ。何とか復活してライブを始める事ができたんですが、今度はあまりの日差しの強さに片方のPowerBookが熱暴走でクラッシュ。でもまあ全体的には良い感じだったしかなり盛り上がったと半野さんが後で教えてくれたので、ちょっと安心しました。
I started playing from 7pm. I played alone first, then with Tujiko Noriko, and she played alone at the end. We performed as the same order jsut like when we played in sonar2003,Italy and Prague before. On that day, French TV crew were there, so i thought i have to show what Japanese can do! and i think i was playing quite good, but then the sound sysntems were stopped because of the electricity problem of the venue ;-) We managed to start the LIVE again after 10 min interval but then one of my powerbook stopped because of the strong sunshine and high temperature. But after all, I was relieved because Mr.Hanno told me that it was quite good and people were really excited.
ツジコノリコとのライブは今までまだ日本で実現した事がないんですけど、いつかやりたいですね。もう一緒に作業を初めてかれこれ２年ぐらいになるんですけど、未だアルバムは完成せず（笑）でもライブの評判はいつもかなり良いんです。いつか日本の皆さんにも僕たち二人のライブを観ていただける機会があれば良いですね。いずれにしてもアルバムを完成させないとレーベルも決まらないし、、話にならないんですけど（笑） 今回のライブもかなり好評で、CDも沢山売れたし、皆がライブの後にサインを求めてくれたり、話しかけてくれたりしてくれました。嬉しい。ライブに来ていただいた全ての方々に感謝します。Merci!
I've never played together with Tujiko Noriko in Japan before. I hope we can play in Japan someday. We've been working on our album since two years ago, but it is not finished yet... But we have a quite good reputation for our LIVE performance so far. Anyway, all we have to do is finishing an album, i know it.. I think people liked our show this time too, and many people bought my CDs and talked to us after the show. I'd like to say thank you so much for people who came to our LIVE performance in Toulouse. 昨日Toulouseで開かれていたles siestes electroniquesから帰ってきました。三日間ともめちゃめちゃめちゃいい天気で、ライブも好評で言う事なしでした。サイトのLIVE reviewsにも画像と短いムービーをアップしたので、良かったらそちらもどうぞ。
We just came back from les siestes electroniques in Toulouse yesterday. It was extremely fine and nice weather during we stayed there and many people told us that they loved our show. I updated some images and short movies on LIVE reviews. Please check it when you have time.
フェスティバルのオープニングでもある１日目は、半野さんのライブが街の古いチャペルでありました。最初オーガナイザからは『古い小さいチャペル』としか聞いていなかったんですけど、入って僕も半野さんもビックリ。『すげー、、、こんな所で音鳴らしてええんか』って思うぐらいの素晴らしい会場でした。リハーサルの時に半野さんが結構低音の出てる音を鳴らしたんですけど、そこを管理してるおっちゃんが『壁の絵が剥がれる！』って怒ってたそうですw。 おっちゃんごめん。
It was the first day of the festival and Mr.Hanno did his performance for it's opening event at the old Chapel in the city. We've only heard from the organizer that it was the old and small chapel." , but we were surprised when we entered the chapel. It was really beautiful place. The caretaker was mad when Mr.Hanno was checking his sound with playing low frequency sound :-)
今回は半野さんの作品でよくヴォーカルとして起用されているAHちゃんがライブに参加していました。マイクを使わなくても良いぐらい物凄く音が通ったので（そういう風に建物が作られているんです）、本番はかなりオフマイク（音源からマイクが離れた状態）で歌ってました。半野さんとAHちゃんがリハーサルを始めた途端に会場の空気ががらっと変わって、その場にいた関係者全員が二人のサウンドチェックの模様を食い入るように見入ってました。 そういえば去年だったかVladislav delayが日本に来てた時に、半野さんとAHちゃんのライブを見て『オレもあのヴォーカルが使いたい！』って言ってたの思い出しました。AHちゃんは『嫌だ』って言ってたけどw。僕も止めた方が良いと思うw。
This time Mr.Hanno played his musc with a female vocal. Her name's AH and she sings for Mr.Hanno's song quite often. When she was singing, she had to stand far away from her vocal microphone because the venue had a quite strong reverb. When they started their sound checking, the whole atmosphere of the venue was changed by their sound and I'm sure that all the people felt the same at that time. People were listening their music very carefully. I remember when Vladislav delay came to Japan, he said that he wanted to use AH as his vocal when he saw Mr.Hanno and AH's performance. but AH said "I don't want it", I agree that.
半野さんのライブの前に国立トゥールーズ室内楽団のチェロ、ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラのトリオアンサンブルがオープニングを勤めたんですが、やっぱり生の音は違いますね。。感動です。主にシューベルトと２０世紀の音楽家の曲を演奏してたんですけど、美しかった。バロック万歳。あのグルーヴは凄い。半野さんも『オレ、あの後にやるの？ええ、、嫌や』って仰ってましたw。さすが国立、演奏も凄い。
Before Mr.Hanno played, trio ensemble of cello,viola and violin from National chamber orchestra of Toulouse played mainly Schubert and some works of composers from 20th century. It was great. I knew it but the real sound comes out from those instruments are totally different from the sound from computers or electronic instruments. beautiful, and great groove. Mr.Hanno said "Am I going to play after them?? no, I don't want it.." :-) I understand what he felt..
写真は会場がお客さんで一杯になる前のものなんですが、会場には正に老若男女問わず沢山の方々が来られてました。海外でライブをさせていただく時にいつも思うんですけど、僕たちみたいな音楽のイベントにもよく年配の方が来てるんです。素晴らしい事ですよね。 本番はトリオの演奏も素晴らしかったし、半野さんとAHちゃんのライブも本当に素晴らしかった。半野さんのライブの後アンコールの拍手があったんですけど、半野さん何も用意してなかったみたいで出てきませんでしたw。あの場所にいれて本当に嬉しかった。

This picture was taken just before the venue was filled with people, but so many people came to see their performance, even old people. It is quite rare in Japan, but I think this is really wonderful thing. The performance of trio ensemble and Mr.Hanno and AH was really really great. I was so happy to be there.

昨日大阪の中津にあるCANTE GRANDEっていうカフェでライブをさせていただきました。お越しいただいた皆さん、ありがとうございました。大学の時からよく来てたカフェで、緑がとても多くて凄く心地良いんです。禁煙席とかあれば最高なんですけど。
昨日は自分でもかなり心地いいライブができたように思えます。事前告知はウチのウェブと口コミだけやったので、主に友人が多かったんですけどw。 ３年ぶりぐらいに会う大学時代の友人も来てくれて、なかなか貴重な時間でした。オーガナイズしてくれた寺内君とその彼女さんに感謝します。ありがとうございました。またこんな機会があれば良いですけどね、東京とか他の都市でもやってみたいです。とこの場を借りてアピっときます。誰か〜。
今回Kan Daisuke君にギターを貸していただきました。凄い良いギターで、めっちゃ音が良くて弾きやすいんです。ダイちゃんありがとう。

Yesterday, I did LIVE at cafe CANTE GRANDE in Nakatsu Osaka. Thank you very much for all the people who came. I've been there many times when i was a student. They have so many plants at the entrance and it is so comfortable to stay. I wish they have some non smoking tables, but..
I think i did quite calm and comfortable LIVE last night. We only announced this party on my web, so most of the audiences were mainly my friends though.. It was really expensive time for me last night. I'd like to say thank you to Yoshimasa Terauchi and his girlfriend who organize this party. Thank you so much. I hope i can have more opportunities to play like this situation in the future. I'd like to do it in Tokyo and other cities maybe. Somebody! Anybody!

I'm planning to do a Japan tour in September, then I think we'd like to go around Japan with this band.

昨日大阪で以前ココで紹介させていただいたaudio formaがありました。お越し下さったみなさん、本当にありがとうございました。trioではちょっと僕のミスもあって悔いが残る感じもあったんですが、皆さんからご好評もいただいたので、まあ結果オーライって事で許してください。すんませんでした。近々レヴューをアップさせていただきますので、もしよろしければご覧になってください。 いやー、やっぱりワタナベさんのドラムは凄いです。リョウ君の映像も素晴らしかった。
Last night in Osaka, we had "audio forma" that i wrote a comment before on here. I'd like to say Thank you so much to People who came to this party. I made a mistake when we played as trio and I think i could make it much better if i didn't make a mistake, but people told me that they liked it, so.. It's OK. I'm going to update the review soon. Please check it when you have time. Mr.Watanabe who plays drum is GREAT! and Ryoichi Kurokawa's images was also beautiful.
ライブの翌日の１１日は丸１日オフだったので、半野さん、イシダ君、僕の３人でドレスデンの街を観光しました。幸い前日の夜に降った雨も止んでその日は快晴に恵まれ、３人ともかなりのハイテンションで街に繰り出しました。
ベルリンでも同じ事を思ったんですが、とにかく街に人が少ないんです。丁度イースターの休みと重なっていたとは言え、それでも人が少ない。大阪、東京、パリと比べると、ベルリンなんてまるで無人じゃないかと思うぐらい人が少なかったです。
The next day on 11th, we went to city center of the Dresden for sight seeing with me and Mr.Hanno, and Daisuke. By luck, the rain stoped and it was really nice weather.
We didn't see any crowd in anywhere in the city. This is exactly the same thing what i thuoght in Berlin. I knew it was Easter holiday but still not so many people there. Maybe i could say "nobody there" compared to Osaka, Tokyo and Paris.
トラムで街の中心部らしき場所まで大体１０分ぐらいで、少し酔いました。。
トラムを降りてしばらく歩いていたらスティーブ・ライヒの音楽の様な音がどこからか聞こえてきたので、３人で吸い込まれるようにそっちに向かったんです。その音源に近づくにつれ徐々に音の輪郭がはっきりしてきて、もう３人ともさらにハイテンション。そこにあったのはFrauenkirche Dresdenという大戦時の爆撃で破壊された教会で、その音は教会から発せられた複数の鐘の音から構成される和音だったんです。当時の爆撃でその大半を破壊されたんですが、今は立派に再建されているその真っ最中でした。
いやー、ホントに凄い音でした。スピーカとか関係なく、実際に物が鳴るってやっぱり凄いです。
It took about 10 minutes to city center and i got tram sick a bit...
When we were walking on the street, we heard beautiful sound like Steve Reich's music from somewhere and we walked to the sound source. What we found was an old Church
called Frauenkirche Dresden which was bombed in World War. The sound was beutiful harmony from Chruch Bells.
Now they're in the middle of reconstruction. The sound from real Hardware without speakers is really amaizing....
その後は暗くなるまで３人で街中を歩きながら話したりして、最終的に『日本人もっと頑張らないと』っていう結論に至ったりしてました。ドレスデンはホントに奇麗な街でした。また行きたいです。
After that, we walked around the city till after dark, and we talked a lot about many things. Dresden is really beautiful city.. I'd like to visit there again someday.

昨日ドレスデンから帰ってきました。イベントには２００人以上の人たちが来てくれて
イベントもかなり盛り上がりました。
オーガナイズしてくれたThomas、イベントのお手伝いをしてくれたみんなに感謝します。

We came back from Dresden yeterday. More than 200 people came to
this party, and we were quite excited.
I'd like to say thank you to Thomas who organized this party and all the

９日に半野さんと一緒にパリを出て、先に到着していたSWO
のイシダ君とドレスデンのステイ先で合流しました。
ベルリンから電車で移動したんですが、途中電車の中から風力発電用の風車が沢山見えて、
日本政府ももっと積極的に導入したら良いのになーって思いました。不思議な景色でした。。
me and Mr.Hanno left Paris on 9th, then we met Daisuke Ishida from SWO at where we stayed in Dresden.
We saw so many pinwheels for wind turbine generating on the way to Dresden by train from Berlin. I thought Japanese government should use more those pinwheels as soon as possible...
会場になったFestspiel Hellerauは１９世紀に建設された建物で、こんな素晴らしい場所を
僕たちみたいな音楽の発表の場として解放してくれるドイツって凄いなーって思いました。
東京はどうなのか分からないですけど、関西じゃ考えられないです。いつか日本も僕たちの
様な音楽に理解を示してくれれば嬉しいですね。じゃないといつかみんな発表の場を求めて
海外に出て行ってしまうような気がします。
The venue "Festspiel Hellerau" was built in 19th century. I thought that it's great
thing that we could have an opportunity to use this kind of beautiful buiding for our music. I don't know in Tokyo but i think this is impossible in Osaka erea.
I hope Japan will show understanding for this kind of music someday.
Otherwise I think many people will go out from Japan to find more opportunities to
express what they want to do.
イベントは先ほどお伝えした通りとても盛り上がりました。最初にnqことNils Quakがライブをして、その後に僕、半野さん、イシダ君という順番でした。
半野さんのライブは本当に凄い。音もいいし、センスもいい、音楽的に優れているし、
ファンキーだし、、言うとこありません。イシダ君も最後の方にリズムを入れたりして、
お客さんをめちゃめちゃ踊らせてました。みんなカッコ良かった。
As i wrote a the beginning, the party warmed up very much.
Nils Quak aka nq played first, then me, Mr.Hanno and Daisuke Ishida.
Mr. Hanno is one of the best musician I've ever met in my life.
His sound quality is really high, he has great sense of everything, and funky...
There's nothing to say... He's perfect.
This time Daisuke Ishida played groovy minimal beat at the end of his performance
, and people were dancing! They are all great!
ライブの後に地元でエレクトロニック・ミュージックに関するドキュメンタリーを
作っている人たちのインタビューを受けました。前にベオグラードやイタリアでも
同じようなインタビューを受けたんですが、僕たちの様な音楽がヨーロッパでは
アートとしてある程度認知されているようです。
素晴らしい。質問は結構難しかったけど（笑）

After the show we had a short interview of people who makes documentary film of electonic music in Dreden.
I had this kind of interview in Belgrade and Italy before, but i thought people in
Europe recognize electronic music as a part of art. This is great.
The questions were a bit difficult for us though....
